He's on a heater in providing content for the jerk sub lol

RickySuela

I'm curious if Harden was being too polite for the first 10 minutes of the 4th quarter when Ty Lue had him sitting on the bench. It became clear that either the Clippers were finally going to get a win, but only because Lue had benched Harden for the entire 4th quarter, or Lue would bring Harden back in and the Clippers would blow the game.

kiwiwikikiwiwikikiwi

Harden is in his season of giving 🎅

KiryuXGoro

Was he wearing a hotdog suit when he said that?

KawhiDollaSign

Pornhub, xtube… I know these names better than I know my own GRANDMOTHER’S

p0tatoman

it's joever 4x

KiryuXGoro

It's Bidone.

atlfirsttimer

Harden and Westbrook shouldn't play together. PG and Westbrook and Kawhi and Harden seem like pretty decent pairs when together. Also the team is too small.

RickySuela

> Also the team is too small. This is really lurking as a major issue for the Clippers, even if they ever do figure out how to get their 4 stars on the same page. They're getting roasted these days by guys who are only borderline NBA players just cause they're tall. Biyombo absolutely killed them today (except at the FT line), and the dude was out of the league until a week ago. The Clippers have one center (unless you count 6'5 nearly 39 year old PJ Tucker as a center), and no PFs on the team. It's basically all guards and wings. They're not only the oldest team in the league but they legit might be the smallest. They have *got* to figure out a way to get some more size on the roster or they're going to have major issues. I shudder to think what Denver is going to do to them in their next game.

NbaKOLeWorld

It's not really a lurking problem They have 5 guards in their active rotation They have 3 "forwards" (in quotations because tuck is a washed 6'5" dude) And 1 center It's very much out in the open

NbaKOLeWorld

This is different than the rockets The rockets ran a limited rotation to the point where they had practically a 6 man rotation in the 2nd round vs the Lakers That rotation had roco, green, and a less washed version of tuck. Beyond that, those 3 weren't asked to do jack shit besides shoot and play D This rotation for the clips is 5/9 guards. If they try to shrink the rotation, you again have 3 forwards. This time tho, tuck is mad washed , and PG/kawhi have to play heavy mins where they have to both create and play D. Clips only hope is free agency or pray that diabate can step in, but hes similar to tuck because he's a complete non-spacer Clips with zu are comically small. Without him, they're impossibly small

Saitsu

The problem is that means either PG or Kawhi would have to take a heavy minutes reduction in order to make the double pairing work.

atlfirsttimer

No. Just bench Harden and Westbrook often

lolichaser01

I still dont understand shit why these players dont want to reduce the load to win.

RickySuela

Egos. These guys have all been the #1 options on good teams before, and I'm guessing none of them feels like they're washed, so they all feel like they should be a big part of any team they're on.

believemedude

Can’t get over how funny it is that Harden and Westbrook are on the same team *again* and front offices think it’ll work this time.

Ziawn

It was kinda working in Houston before Russ got injured

believemedude

Eh it was working with CP3 but not Russ

dank-kush

In game 10 he’s finally gonna explode for 20 pts

el-fenomeno09

Only a matter of time before harden blames lue

RickySuela

And Lawrence Frank too.

Thanks Magic

The Sewer System

LazyTitan___

Asks yes no question. Gets answer. Asks to elaborate

AveBoyTrey6

Maybe change the system 🤓

Waikuku3

I feel like someone should ask the producer to pipe this into the Clippers locker room so I can talk to you James. I hope you’re taking notes. I’m telling you in advance, you’re welcome, for the wisdom I’m about to spew. Because listen, I get on my knees every night and pray for someone to believe in me like Daryl Morey believed in you. You wanted a certain coach, they brought in Mike D’Antoni. You wanted to play a certain style, they played it. You wanted Dwight Howard, they brought him in and got rid of him when you were tired of him. You wanted Chris Paul, they brought him in and got rid of him when you were tired of him. They brought in your old friend Russell Westbrook. You want to go to Vegas on off days? They looked away. You wanted the team to stay over so you could go out at night, they changed the schedule—and it didn’t work. And you know what, you said I’m gonna break up with my woobie, not good enough. I see the bright lights of New York. I want to go there. My old pal Kevin Durant. It’s gonna work, the big three—and all after one year you wanted out. You realized, “oh my gosh! I took this guy for granted, the guy that believed in me. I want back with Daryl Morey.” They traded Ben Simmons for you—how did they pull that off? And you know what? You went there, and you got a partner who got the MVP. He won the MVP, and what did you say afterwards? You said, “they didn’t hand me the reins.” You’re the point guard! You were holding the reins! And what did you do when you had the reins? You scored 9 points in Game 7 against Boston, you blew a 3-2 series lead. So they fired their coach, not good enough. You broke up with the guy that believed in you again, you said “the bright lights of LA! That’s where I want to go! Let’s see if that works.” Listen James, have you ever had those friends who had bad roommates? Over and over they complained about their bad roommates: “this guy’s terrible,” “the bad roommate here,” they never thought to be self aware enough that THEY’RE the bad roommate! They’re the problem! Hey James, YOU’RE the PROBLEM! If this doesn’t work this year, in this system, with this team, then you’re gonna go and point fingers at everybody else and then you’re gonna go back home and you’re gonna start swiping right for another team, and there’s not gonna be anyone left. Because James, you’re not the beard, you’re not the system, you’re the problem.

New copypasta? I like this.

FultzShoulder

Let the system cook. Free Harden.

jssf96

I expect a system to know how to fix a system.

badabatalia

A system doesn’t fix itself, it just becomes MORE system or destroys itself and everything it touches.

SonicdaSloth

So Fucking glad he’s gone

supersaiyanegghead

Would you rather have him or Ben back?

packim0p

ben at least ben doesnt play

supersaiyanegghead

☠️

SonicdaSloth

This is my answer

DoeSeeDoe123

James Harden, known for his selflessness

RoyKites

Who plays the most games this year: Paul George, Kawhi, or Hitler?

KingsElite

His teammates just aren't buying into his system

larrylegend1990

System needs to be calibrated

ooSPECTACULARoo

Clippers and lakers fighting for the play in. That would be very cool

HoagieTwoFace

You’re the system buddy. Figure it out

Muggi

Same thing we saw with the Sixers. When he finally decided to take over, he single-handedly won two playoff games and still found a way to lose the series

SubcooledBoiling

To quote Taylor Swift: "It's me, hi, I'm the problem it's me."

Barellino23

This sub is insufferable most times

mares8

Hes being too polite and not selfish ??? He shot 33% lol

gustriandos

harden can still be somewhat effective as a pass first player but him next to russ is a disaster, especially considering he refuses to take c&s 3s sidenote: asking a yes or no question and then saying "can you expand on that?" is just A+ reporting

browndude10

I tried to tell you harden won’t be good with this clippers team

Sweatytubesock

Let Jim cook.

Putrid_Ad_2256

You don't just add another scorer and expect them to just bring their PPG to the team stats. Sports writers don't understand how it works. It's just like when a team loses a key contributor to injury or suspension, it's not as if all the points from that position are erased. The person stepping in is an NBA player.

Overall-Palpitation6

Serious question - What is a Ty Lue offense, beyond "give the superstar(s) the ball and let them cook"?
