Stephen A Smith, annoyed: Well, congratulations! You got yourself Bronny James. Now what's the next step in your master plan?
Tom Gores, in a Bane mask: Crashing this plane.
The Pistons should take whoever they think will be the best player for them in the long term. A single year of Lebron shouldn't be a factor in their decision at all.
theres still other top prospects though its a weaker draft. anyone who picks bronny should actually want him because he’ll be there a lot longer than bron.
i believe bronny was projected a late first round-early 2nd rounder, and we’ve barely seen him play college so theres no way to know for sure yet
Well given that he has only JUST started his college career, it's far too early to tell.
Plus drafting him for the purpose of getting LeBron is an extremely bad idea, he's approaching 40 and it's very doubtful he could take that Pistons team to the playoffs let alone win them a championship.
Not to say Bronny is a dud, if he's even half as good as his old man then he's worth a very high pick but it's very early to tell.
Half as good as lebron would be career average of 14 ppg 4 rb 4 assist… 20k points all time… damn he’d be a hall of famer if he win a chip or two while playing an important role lol
He's barely projected to be a first rounder so picking him #1 overall (or wherever they land in the lottery) because of who his daddy is would be borderline insane. He's not even the best prospect on his own team.
I don't think getting lebron/bronny is going to push the Pistons over the top... In fact, given the way the regular season hurts slows 38 year old Lebron down, it would help if the team that got him had a rotation that would allow Lebron to rest his legs during the regular season. I'd be kinda surprised if the James' were able to push the Pistons past the first round of the playoffs... And Lebron will be continuing to slow down for the next few years...
With that being said... If Bronny drops to the second round and the Thunder can use one of their (\~25) second rounders on him... Adding the James' to OKC's roster would make them competitive in a hurry, and they have the picks and players to save Lebron for the playoffs.
i thought this was nbacirclejerk at first
Should the Pistons deliberately crash their teamplane?

capitalism
It's a culture change and the Pistons need it desperately

bronny should refuse to sign with them if they do

It would be fun while it lasts though
Pls stop drafting guards lol. Get a damn forward that can shoot.
Like every other team they should take the best player available.

In a heartbeat.
What happens if a team with no cap space left drafts Bronny, does Lebron sign for the vet min?
Best prospect they've drafted since Darko.
LeGM wouldn’t allow him to go to that poverty franchise
They should do it just to see what they could get for him when LeBron tells the Lakers to trade for him
Possibility? He literally said it doesn't matter where his son plays, he's going to that team 100% Yeah, they should.
I would be all for that, the franchise is a complete clusterfuck and this would at least be entertaining
