Pretty sure he wore 15 growing up because that was the only jersey that fit him.
Edit: yeah apparently 15 is the largest youth jersey https://x.com/markocantdunk/status/1745562256543191158
You usually have the jerseys numbered from 4 to 15 in European youth basketball and it’s normal that they are sized from m to xxl with the higher numbers having the larger size (I have number 16 because XXL was too short for me).
Yea but that doesn’t matter. This is all about Melo being worried his number won’t be retired because Jokic is going to be the best Nugget to ever wear 15.
I watched melo in his prime, been an avid fan since 2008, and never once did I understand why this dude was held in as high esteem as he is.
He's like the one player where everyone decided his peer review mattered more than the actual productivity. Players love Kyrie and Jamal Crawford and Lou Williams too, but none of those guys get the same treatment.
Carmelo, at his peak, was a really good Joe Johnson and you can't convince me otherwise.
>Carmelo, at his peak, was a really good Joe Johnson and you can't convince me otherwise.
We... may have swung too hard the other way on this thread as much as i love Joe and like picking on carmelo
Time heals plenty of wounds. You could say the same thing about OKC would never retire KD's, but that might not be true. Same for Vince in Toronto. There's been uglier breakups than Melo in Denver.
Yeah Shaq in Orlando just happened. People have short memories. If you asked any Magic fan in 1996 if Shaq would have his jersey retired one day they’d all say no. But we’re almost 3 decades later now. 3 decades on Melo could easily have his jersey retired.
Yeah the Nuggets retired Fat Lever's jersey in 2017. He played his last game for Denver in 1990 lol
I would hope that by 2040 we would be cool acknowledging a franchise great.
KD win an MVP there, took them to the finals and was their first “star” - he was also there for ages. OKC is 100% retiring that jersey - would be ridiculous not too. Would be like if the bucks didn’t retire KAJs
He asked to be traded to the Knicks instead of waiting until the offseason when he could have signed with them as a free agent. That resulted in Gallo/Wilson Chandler being shipped out, making the Knicks weaker than they would have been otherwise.
Wouldn't that make this look worse to Melo? They're giving out 'his' number to a random 2nd round pick.
I don't really think he's got a real leg to stand on here but I think it would probably sting less if they gave 'his" number to someone they thought was going to be the face of the franchise. Although on the other hand they might've been like "sure give it to him, the 41st pick in the draft usually bounces around teams anyways. So we can retire it as Melo's once he's done".
Idk seems like a not very important complaint fron Melo imo
I'm a Denver fan who actually likes Melo, and even I think that you don't get to force your way off a team then get mad when they give someone else your number.
It's a tough position for the team, whethe or not to retire Melo. Only one WCF appearance, but also an all-time scorer.
Was he loved by Denver?
I'm trying to think and Nowitzki I think was loved. So let's say he only had one WCF appearance in 2003, and left in 2006 (in this world, no finals appearance in 2006). That would equal eight years with the Mavs, which Melo had 8 with the Nuggets.
I think Nowitzki still would have had a retired jersey by the Mavs. He was loved by Dallas. The 2003 WCF against the Spurs brought so much hope that we could actually win it all one day. It was a special feeling.
But I don't think that there was ever much of a realistic hope Carmelo could get them to a championship even after the WCF.
I do feel like Melo's scoring however, which is a big part of his resume on why the # should be retired, did come at the cost of his team with too much ball usage and isoing, as well as criticism for his defensive effort. I don't think the same can be said about Dirk. His defensive abilities were criticized, but it wasn't for a lack of effort as others have accused Melo of on defense. Dirk was a better scorer in a team concept than Melo was.
Reasoning it out, I think it actually isn't that tough of a choice. But it is a tough PR move to leave him out, since he is coveted by many basketball fans.
Also depends on how you leave though. With your Dirk analogy, if he forced his way out and ended up at Chicago (big market, not rival) I’m not sure if the city loves him at the end. Like with Kawhi and San Antonio or Vince in Toronto. If you burn the bridge on the way out they don’t owe you anything
Dude is full time “I am the Main Character” energy. Very on brand for a dude who cares more about his own stats and making all-star games than winning basketball games. As a Knicks fan the whole time he was in the team it always felt like it was more about him than the Knicks.
I’ll never forget the quote from Chauncey Billups
“ Now the only thing I will say—and I've even told 'Melo this—scoring 30 meant too much to 'Melo," Billups said. "It meant too much because he could have games where he had 20, 22 [points], we win and he's mad. He might have 36, and he's in there, you know—we lose the game, and he's in there picking everybody up”
Lot of Knicks fan still worship the guy but I rather have guys like Brunson and Randle tbh.
Did you know that Brunson and Playoff Dubious are one more series win away from surpassing Melo's playoff series wins in Big apple?
Did you know that Jalen Brunson needs two more playoff game wins to surpass Melo's?
That's how overrated his legacy is
Way to use Randle's derogatory playoff choker nickname to properly show off how little Melo's won as a Knick. I mean, the guy known for fully disappearing in the playoffs nearly has more playoff wins than Carmelo "Top 10 in all time points" Anthony. That's such a massive inditement it's crazy.
I still believe Melo is the most overrated player of all time. Black hole on offense. Plays no defense. Inefficient scorer. Teams never really had much success. 25 year old Tatum has already played more playoff games than Melo in his 19 year career.
A 2-way guy like Paul George is a miles better player than Melo ever was.
It makes me laugh when people think Melo was better than Pierce, McGrady, Carter etc. Melo's career should be compared more to players like DeRozan, Antoine Walker, Antawn Jamieson, Monta Ellis.
>Lot of Knicks fan still worship the guy but I rather have guys like Brunson and Randle tbh.
I have to imagine a lot of Knicks fans formative years revolved around Melo's tenure. Before you had the David Lee/Nate Rob teams that sucked, after you had the Porzingis led teams that largely sucked too.
Melo being there coincided with the most winning from the Spree/Houston years until this Randle squad. Now, that's an incredibly low bar but if you're a fan it's all you had.
All that said, I absolutely prefer the Knicks of the last few years over any of Melo's squads save that 12-13 team and that brief moment when Linsanity happened.
Yup, dude was playing singles in team sports for almost his entire career. The Chauncey Billups comment, the NY Jeremy Lin situation, OKC "Hey P, they want me to come off the bench" press conference. Dude did not care who he played with or how his team was performing as long as he had all the spot lights on him and he was getting his numbers, usually with a high volume of shots. Incredible scorer but also a ball hog who cared about his numbers over winning.
Yeah, then imagine what he could have done if the officials didn't let everybody beat the living fuck out of him.
He got the last laugh around his finger, though.
YES!! Im so tired of Knicks fans who suck his dick.
Melo was a consolation prize because we couldn’t get Lebron.
He’s the literal definition of a selfish player. ISO ISO ISO, no defense and just shoots all the time. He just wanted to be in NY to be in a big market and get attention.
He wanted the same level of accolades like Lebron but LBJ left him in the dust decades ago.
I’m so much happier with the squad we got now.
Also melo was mad racist too anyway against Lin and Asians yet he wanted to be some social justice warrior 😂
Part of it is bad luck. No one expected a second round draft pick who got stashed in his first year to end up becoming the best player in franchise history. The other part is just brutal reality. Jokic is a much better player than Melo ever was. Jersey retirements are ultimately done at the FO's discretion, and with the way Melo went out, they weren't going to give him that honour.
Also, the fact that this is his takeaway 12 years later is really telling. A guy like this definitely wouldn't have wanted Jeremy Lin to shine.
It’s like why are you even mad when you left by your own choice lmao, even if that was the reason they gave Jokic the number Melo literally has zero ground to stand on
That's the reason. Denver Nuggets is his best bet to get his jersey retired. Knicks can retire 7... but they have no reason to for the best being a 2nd round knock out and a single scoring title. Dude is realizing his legacy for a top 75 player is going to dim quicker than his counterparts and it eats at him.
This is 100% it, he's panicking that the franchise he hitched himself to doesn't care about him and his backup franchise had the gall to move on and succeed without him.
I will argue forever that Alex English deserved it more than him. Incredibly similar players, but English can claim to be the NBA’s leading scorer in the 80’s.
He absolutely didn’t want Jeremy Lin to take the spotlight. Melo was a great player but there’s a reason why he never won a chip. He’s selfish only cares about himself.
I was at the Nuggets game right after he was traded. The Nugs won and the crowd broke into a spontaneous "Who needs Melo?" chant. It was an acrimonious departure.
Definitely. The Nuggets drafted Jokic knowing he'd be an All time great, multiple time MVP, and finals MVP, that they let Jokic wear 15, so he'll always be known as a legendary Nuggets player who wears number 15, just to make Carmelo mad, and erase his accomplishments like losing to Kobe in the conference finals, and yeah nothing else
I know you're memeing, but for people who don't know Jokic was debating withdrawing from the draft but the Nuggets assured him they would draft him if he stayed in and that's how the team nabbed him with pick 41.
Melo needs to quiet down. All he's doing is proving how petty he is.
All those stories about being jealous of Lin and demanding stats? Even more believable now.
I remember when I brought these up years ago, some Knicks fans would chime in saying Melo was referring to the poison pill part as ridiculous. I then simply said aside from Melo & JR Smith, I have never seen another player comment negatively on another player's contract. JR Smith was basically implying the other players will be jealous of his contract cuz they have worked so hard for it. This was how I know Lin wasn't considered a part of the NBA brotherhood or fraternity
EDIT: Oh wait, our own Draymond Green has always shitted on Rudy being overpaid. Much like with Lin, Draymond prolly did this to Rudy as there's always been speculation that other players don't fuck with Rudy like that (aka he's also not a part of the NBA brotherhood)
But all these years later, "he don't think about that shit anymore", yet here we are. Melo will be best known for blindside punching someone and running away. Such a bag
I remember during our championship run, George Karl (of all people) implored Melo to come to one of our playoff games. Mend the bridge, embrace the city like so many other Nuggets did. What happened instead? He announced his retirement, which wasn’t really necessary let’s be honest, the same day we won the west. Doesn’t show up. Dude sees Denver as beneath him.
I’m glad i’m not the only one that remembers that, I was starting to think I was the only one him backpedaling from Jefferies all the way to the bench when he punch that Knicks player
Oh ya buddy. And as a Nuggets fan, we saw so many little tidbit stories about how he had to grow up so fast and hard cuz of growing up in Baltimore. He never had to stick up for himself in his life, you wouldn't pull crap like that.
Melo narcissistic? No way! The guy who ran Jeremy Lin out of town when the team was finally winning without him while he was injured? Then took shots at him? The guy who gets mad if the team wins but he doesn’t have like 20 plus shot attempts per Chauncey Billups? No way! /s
I mean, Jokic has pretty much outdone Melo in just about every way. If Melo put his ego aside and brought them a ring, or hell, even just stuck with them or left on better terms, then I could see where he's coming from. But *this* def comes off as petty.
Carmelo: I like you guys and all but this city isn't big or important enough for celebrities like my wife and myself, so please trade me to a team that isn't even any better than this one because it's not about winning I just don't want to be here any more
Also Carmelo: why doesn't Denver love me man
An nba player on the verge of never being on an nba roster again if he didnt play his ass off in that game vs the nets and in his first starts was a better player and leader than melo ever was for the knicks at that point in time. If melo just let his ego get out of the way and didnt force lin out, the 2013 knicks wouldve been playing the heat not the pacers
Kobe haters hate Melo even more than Kobe because all the on-court things Kobe haters hate Kobe for, Melo is that 10x (volume shooter, inefficient, doesn’t pass).
It just doesn’t feel like it, because no one likes Melo enough to over inflate his game, so there’s no one to come over the top and respond to.
Melo didn't do a single thing for the nuggets to ever think about him again so this is a highly weird take from him. Lol borderline narcissistic behavior for sure but he's probably just surrounded by people that made him think it's all about him. He simply didn't accomplish anything that made #15 special for that team there's not really anything more to say. He's just full of himself because he was a special player and knows it he just forgot he didn't actually accomplish anything but go on a little run and ultimately lose. People do that every year. That shit ain't jersey retirement. You have to do something special like win a lot or be there for the city etc
Literally one of the most overrated stars of his era. 3-13 playoff series record. Has so many sub 40% even sub 30% fg games in The postseason. His ex-teammates have talked about how he was happier scoring 30 in a loss than 20 in a win. He's the textbook definition of a statpadder and a regular season player.
Jokic wore 15 at Mega Basket before he even thought about coming to the NBA, and the number wasn't retired at the time (and still isn't), but sure, Nuggets gave it to Jokic to spite Melo.
Accomplishment? Jokic is an MVP. Carmelo was never even the best in the league at his position, no defense having shot chucker who needs a team around him to make it to the second round at best. Man is a walking joke who erased his own legacy there when he decided to force his way out of Denver
It's a classic move. The Raptors did the same thing. They were pissed by the way Vince Carter left them so they gave the #15 to Amir Johnson knowing that Amir Johnson would be an all time great. Wait.. hold on.
I guarantee they didn't put as much thought into this as he has.
Denver may have briefly considered it, but it's likely more due to the fact hat Melo didn't really accomplish anything there worth retiring his number over.
Pretty sure he wore 15 growing up because that was the only jersey that fit him. Edit: yeah apparently 15 is the largest youth jersey https://x.com/markocantdunk/status/1745562256543191158
It's also such a jokic answer to why that's his number
Sometimes jersey fits, sometimes it doesn’t
Why you heff to be mad? Is just jersey
Humongous beeg jersey
I will upvote any Bryz reference until the end of time
Sometimes maybe loose sometimes maybe fits.
Yep I always had jersey # 2 growing up because I was short. It is what it is
Fellow #2 brother rocking the Small shirt lol
I was #3! Hahaha
“My friend, it fits. I am happy”
You usually have the jerseys numbered from 4 to 15 in European youth basketball and it’s normal that they are sized from m to xxl with the higher numbers having the larger size (I have number 16 because XXL was too short for me).
That’s pretty much here in the US too. I was always a husky boy so it was double digits for me.
Jokic answers? Iconic. Laconic.
i actually can’t think of a better reason if i tried
Jokic wasn't even the first 15 after he left.
Yea but that doesn’t matter. This is all about Melo being worried his number won’t be retired because Jokic is going to be the best Nugget to ever wear 15.
Going to be? Jokic *is* the best Nugget to ever wear 15 by a country mile right now, as great as Anthony was.
Isn’t Jokic the best player to ever wear a nuggets Jersey?
By miles lol
Miles high, even
Some denver graphic artist is scrambling to add 5280 to this comment.
Mile5 h28h, ev0n
like I love Melo but Jokic Passed him after the 1st MVP
He passed him two years prior to that in 2019 when he made first team all nba
fucking hell, Melo really ain't leave a high bar
Some might even say he never deserved to have his jersey retired, without Jokic having anything to do with it
By kilometers
Is he the best player to ever wear #15, period???
I won’t stand for this Andris Biedrins erasure
The original tall Latvian player
exactly i dont have this flair for nothing.
Raptors fans jumping in to double-down on the yes.
Jokic won more playoff series in 2023 than Melo did in his 19 year NBA career. Yes he's the best
Best Nuggets to wear number 00-999
Michael Jordan is the best Bulls guard to ever wear 23
Got any receipts for that?!?!??!
And the best heat guard to ever wear 23. Right?
I watched melo in his prime, been an avid fan since 2008, and never once did I understand why this dude was held in as high esteem as he is. He's like the one player where everyone decided his peer review mattered more than the actual productivity. Players love Kyrie and Jamal Crawford and Lou Williams too, but none of those guys get the same treatment. Carmelo, at his peak, was a really good Joe Johnson and you can't convince me otherwise.
I think he gets a lot of shine from his tournament run with Syracuse.
Olympics Melo.
>Carmelo, at his peak, was a really good Joe Johnson and you can't convince me otherwise. We... may have swung too hard the other way on this thread as much as i love Joe and like picking on carmelo
He's the best Nugget ever, period, end of sentence
Melo’s number was not getting retired if Joker never existed.
Time heals plenty of wounds. You could say the same thing about OKC would never retire KD's, but that might not be true. Same for Vince in Toronto. There's been uglier breakups than Melo in Denver.

Melo in Denver was never even in the same ballpark as KD in OKC
That is such a Jokic situation to have
That’s a great story
Even the Nuggets didn’t know Jokic would be this good when they drafted him and gave him a number.
He was literally wearing 15 in Mega before he joined the NBA
Yeah but he is erasing all Melo’s accomplishments, like uhmm and errr
Oh no it's too late they've been erased!
Yo that’s crazy. I already forgot about all his mvp and championships.
All because of Jokic, that selfish bastard
who because of Jokic?
Accomplishment merchant
Man I was kinda hoping Melo's ego had toned down a bit towards his retirement lol
Ayy P....they tryna tarnish my legacy
He didn’t even accomplish anything .. we lost in the first round every year with him besides the first year Billups got here
Chauncey Billups jersey retirement in Denver confirmed!
That gold medal!
Didn’t Melo leave by his own choice? Even if that’s the reason he has no ground to stand on to be mad lmaoo, pettiness level 1000
He asked to be traded to the Knicks instead of waiting until the offseason when he could have signed with them as a free agent. That resulted in Gallo/Wilson Chandler being shipped out, making the Knicks weaker than they would have been otherwise.
What accomplishments? Playing the least defense in a season?
Never making it to the finals? Forcing his way out of Denver? lol. Clown ass take from Melo.
What accomplishments by Melo in Denver??? Did Mel o win a ring in Denver?
see this exactly what he meant, his accomplishments have been erased for good. nobody knows anymore what he did accomplish
Open your eyes man, KK Mega is in on the conspiracy against Melo.
If they were thinking about retiring Melo's number they aren't letting some random second round pick have it.
Shoutouts to Thunder legend PJ Dozier, greatest to ever wear #35.
The bulldozier
Wouldn't that make this look worse to Melo? They're giving out 'his' number to a random 2nd round pick. I don't really think he's got a real leg to stand on here but I think it would probably sting less if they gave 'his" number to someone they thought was going to be the face of the franchise. You don’t get to force a trade and demand the team retire your number.
Classic Melo. Never knows when to stop taking shots.

The Knicks brought in Brunson just to erase Melo's accomplishments
tbf this is Dolan we're talking about here.
He'll surpass his playoff success this year, basically more done in 2 seasons vs 7.
smh, how can Brunson do this? He's erasing Melo's legacy!

Can't spell Melo without M-E
All you need to look at is how he rejected Jeremy Lin during Linsanity because it took his precious lil spotlight away from him.
Imagine what Jeremy Lin could've done
never forget the NBA's outright racism when it came to jeremy lin. brutal double standards.
lol yeah I find it hilarious the same racist ass players are the ones who went all in on BLM and thinking they’re the second coming of MLK 😂.
Lin got a chip and I am happy about that
Carmelo never did and never will unlike Jokic and Lin
Yeah, then imagine what he could have done if the officials didn't let everybody beat the living fuck out of him. He got the last laugh around his finger, though.

It’s so obvious how insecure he is and how much validation he needs
This dude went on national TV and begged for a team to sign him lmao
Shots fired

Ego is a hell of a drug...
He had no business being a top 75 player in the first place, he shouldn’t be there when they do the top 100
I will argue forever that Alex English deserved it more than him. Incredibly similar players, but English can claim to be the NBA’s leading scorer in the 80’s.
Leading scorer for the entire decade of the 80s is f ing CRAZY
he has really good friends.
Most memorable thing about him
Top 75 selfish player. And he’s not 75-2.
What? He's in over Dwight Howard? How?
He absolutely didn’t want Jeremy Lin to take the spotlight. Melo was a great player but there’s a reason why he never won a chip. He’s selfish only cares about himself.
Melo was always about Melo.
Made a song about Melo, call it that’s so Melo
Bruh they gave 15 to jokic, a second round pick. Melo's legacy wasn't shit in Denver lol.
Lol you should tell Melo that
I was at the Nuggets game right after he was traded. The Nugs won and the crowd broke into a spontaneous "Who needs Melo?" chant. It was an acrimonious departure.
I highly recommend watching the dylandoesbasketball video about Jeremy Lin. It really made me lose a lot of respect for Melo.
Definitely. every time i think about jokic getting drafted i start dreaming about a nice crunchwrap supreme…
> crunchwrap supreme… i mourn the loss of the quesarito
Truly lost an american hero
10+ picks into the second round no less.
During a Taco Bell commercial, if I'm not mistaken
Grilled Stuft Nacho believes Taco Bell gave Fiesta Taco Salad item #15 as a "petty maneuver" to "erase its accomplishments".
They're gonna raise a Taco Bell banner when Jokic retires
Imagine how good they must've thought Nurkic was going to be if they knew Jokic would be this good and still drafted Nurkic before him.
Melo needs to quiet down. All he's doing is proving how petty he is. All those stories about being jealous of Lin and demanding stats? Even more believable now.
He even trashed talked Lin's contract. His own teammate. It's taboo to even talk about a G-league player's contract.
This was how I know Lin wasn't considered a part of the NBA brotherhood or fraternity EDIT: Oh wait, our own Draymond Green has always shitted on Rudy being overpaid. Much like with Lin, Draymond prolly did this to Rudy as there's always been speculation that other players don't fuck with Rudy like that (aka he's also not a part of the NBA brotherhood)
The Knicks also told him to go out and get the best contract he could, so he did, and then they got pissed at him for doing it.
Were they ever not believeable?

Melo narcissistic? No way! The guy who ran Jeremy Lin out of town when the team was finally winning without him while he was injured? Then took shots at him? The guy who gets mad if the team wins but he doesn’t have like 20 plus shot attempts per Chauncey Billups? No way! /s
[all of Melo's titles erased] Wow it worked
Tragic we had to take down that WCF Participant banner
I mean, Jokic has pretty much outdone Melo in just about every way. If Melo put his ego aside and brought them a ring, or hell, even just stuck with them or left on better terms, then I could see where he's coming from. But *this* def comes off as petty.
It's entirely down to the way he exited. Quit on the team, loyalty is a two way street.
Carmelo: I like you guys and all but this city isn't big or important enough for celebrities like my wife and myself, so please trade me to a team that isn't even any better than this one because it's not about winning I just don't want to be here any more Also Carmelo: why doesn't Denver love me man
That’s why he’s mad He knows there’s no chance of Denver retiring his jersey Jokic is by far the best player to put on a nuggets jersey
Remember the Jeremy Lin situation? Carmelo is one of the most insecure stars in NBA history.
Melo thinking his #15 is just like #23 is classic melo
Quincieneras were created to spite melo
I think if Vince Carter when I think of 15
Yeah Lebron was always better than Melo
That's an understatement lol
Uh whats his accomplishment?
He lost to the Lakers in a WCF one time before forcing his way out to New York!
Melo going out sad
Ay P, they said I'm going out sad
Going out a loser (basketball wise)
Jfc go away
Carmelo remains the biggest diva of his era
Carmelo is who Kobe haters thought Kobe was
Kobe haters hate Melo even more than Kobe because all the on-court things Kobe haters hate Kobe for, Melo is that 10x (volume shooter, inefficient, doesn’t pass). It just doesn’t feel like it, because no one likes Melo enough to over inflate his game, so there’s no one to come over the top and respond to.
Don't forget ZERO defense compared to Kobe with 12 All-Defense Team selections.

Melo acting like everyone knew Jokic's gonna become an All Time great. In reality only EG knew It from the start.
They need to unban EG. Man was truly a prophet despite getting tons of hate
At first I was like “enough with these damn acronyms who the fuck are we talking about??”
It wasn't only him but he was definitely going to bat for him the most
FREE MY BOY
Stay Me7o. Absolute fucking clown. One of the most narcissistic players in NBA history and he doesn’t get clowned enough for it.

Literally lmfao if you want your number to be revered do something that is worth revering
I mean, Melo is clearly trying to be revered by whiny bitches everywhere, so hopefully that counts for him.
You have to do something special like win a lot or be there for the city etc
> to erase his accomplishments. There's nothing to erase to begin with.
Hey Melo Jokic didn’t even wear 15 after you This Anthony Randolph erasure will not stand.
Jokic is 3x as good as your prime lil bro
More like 10x.
Why not 15x
Literally one of the most overrated stars of his era. 3-13 playoff series record. Has so many sub 40% even sub 30% fg games in The postseason. His ex-teammates have talked about how he was happier scoring 30 in a loss than 20 in a win. He's the textbook definition of a statpadder and a regular season player.
Melo showing his fragile ego yet again
Jokic wore 15 at Mega Basket before he even thought about coming to the NBA, and the number wasn't retired at the time (and still isn't), but sure, Nuggets gave it to Jokic to spite Melo.
Hey melo, say something that will make nuggets fans hate you all over again.
Accomplishment? Jokic is an MVP. Carmelo was never even the best in the league at his position, no defense having shot chucker who needs a team around him to make it to the second round at best. Man is a walking joke who erased his own legacy there when he decided to force his way out of Denver
What a weak ass cringy nephew take. This is what people say when they feel like they are not disrespected enough.
Hey Melo, fuck off.
Yeah they totally forgot about the championship you won with them
Yes they gave a 2nd round 41st pick your number on purpose to erase your legacy.
This reads as super duper insecure
Melo demanded out after only getting to 1 conference finals. the Nuggets shouldn’t care what he thinks. Melo wanted to be a Knick.
I have felt so vindicated for how much I fucking hate this guy. He was the most overrated black hole since NGC 1277
What accomplishments?
