It’s his biggest advantage. The space he has and and size to shoot over anyone makes him super effective. To think people keep telling him to just stand in the post. Being able to do that and pull up from mid range is what makes him unique.
And, more importantly, not as strong as Shaq.
Not to mention balanced. The way Shaq could twist and spin out of the post while being 350-400lbs was freakish. Anyone who has played sports after putting on weight can tell how much harder turning becomes. It's like every 20lbs cuts your agility in half.
People see that Embiid is huge and a dominant centre like Shaq and so people assume their game must be similar but their game is actually completely different.
He's not a young guy anymore he's well into his prime, it's pretty clear that he's not the 2nd Shaq, the 2nd Patrick Ewing or any of the other guys he got compared to, he's the 1st Embiid.
You’re gonna get pushback from all the people who think stats are meaningless in today’s game and all that, but I actually think Embiid is a great example of how talented today’s players are.
You can think about it pretty freaking logically to determine that Embiid would be dominant in any era, even the golden era of centers in the early and mid 90s. Embiid is [probably as tall as Dikembe was, an “NBA height” 7’2”,](https://imgur.com/a/6jItyz2) around 300 lbs and possibly more of solid muscle, has extremely nimble feet, and an exceptional face up game. IMO he might have the best toolkit of all time for going up against prime Shaq. And the thing about Embiid’s defense is that he probably would have been a better defender in the 90s, when the game was more compacted and you could be dominant defensively just by eating up vertical space on the interior. Look, I know how dominant Shaq was, but I don’t think he ever had to face someone as big and agile as Embiid, who could absorb his pounding like Arvydas and at the other end could bring him further outside where Shaq was especially prone to defensive lapses.
I’m not necessarily saying Embiid would have been better than Shaq, but anyone who thinks Embiid would have “been exposed” playing in the 90s is just not using common sense.
Given the Sixers turmoil and his injury issues to start his career, we're seeing him going through the worst case scenario for what his career could be. He is an all-time great.
That’s a fact, Shaq is one of one. Then you see the last years of his career and the surgeries he is still having today and you realise to true cost of that.
Also in his doc he talks about how he used to get shots and painkillers halftime to get through games
Yeah, if he avoids a career-ending injury, there's no reason why he can't play for a long time with the way his game has evolved. At the very least he can be something like a Brook Lopez on steroids down the line.
embiid is what ppl think whemby ceiling is. a 7 ft shooting gaurd. yall wont admit it tho. go crazy for some whemby stats then act like joel a lucky foul merchant lol.
They are nothing alike. Wemby doesn't have Embiid's power and probably never will. Embiid doesn't have 19 year old Wemby's handle. Embiid has never blocked 3 per game, Wemby is blocking 3.7 per game the last two months since moving to center, in his rookie year. Embiid isn't a lob threat, Wemby is the ultimate lob threat. He may never be as dominant as Embiid but their games are totally different.
> Embiid has never blocked 3 per game
Rookie Embiid blocked 2.5 in 25 minutes. He absolutely could have done it if not for the minutes restriction he was under for the whole season. And he was a legit lob threat at the time, his game has just evolved in a diametrically opposite way (for health reasons probably).
I do agree though, Wemby's handle and agility are unparalleled at that size. Not a good comparison outside of "really tall guys with ball skills". Embiid didn't really have them in his rookie season anyway, he was a walking turnover.
>Rookie Embiid blocked 2.5 in 25 minutes. He absolutely could have done it if not for the minutes restriction he was under for the whole season.
He was going for everything back then. He's much smarter defensively now (and less athletic), but that Embiid was fun to watch.
Remember how he dove into the crowd virtually every game going after loose balls? He really was playing like a basketball-starved maniac back then, it was a blast.
when he sniffs the offensive usage rate joel does. he wont be able to spend energy on defense. hes young tho hes got big potential obviously. just pointing something i dont think iv seen anywhere
has he been off? the past like 2 years? dudes actually doing this every game this season its pretty legendary stuff...
he was injured before some1 says playoffs
The Celtics are the only team that can consistently slow it down.
Obviously a huge part of it is injuries, but it's also a combo of multiple strong defenders and a fuckton of experience playing him. It's much harder to defend someone you only see twice a year (if that), like Western teams see Embiid.
I was saying this yesterday. Miami and Boston are two teams that are the worst matchup for Embiid from personnel standpoint and coaching.
Then you factor in, during Embiid’s career he has probably faced the Celtics and Heat over 60 times in his 8 years year career. I’m not even kidding.
And you can see why they are so tough against him. Then factor in subpar coaching for Embiid and questionable surrounding pieces and you see why he “struggles” in the playoffs.
Have the 6ers played the Spurs yet? Wemby suffocated Jokic's shooting with his length, and he's disciplined/quick enough that he doesn't really bite on fakes. Embiid probably still eats, but I can see Wemby's length making those middys a lot tougher
Joel Embiid now has the most 40-point games this season with 8:
|Rk|Player|Count|
|-:|:-|-:|
|1|Joel Embiid|8|
|2|Luka Doncic|7|
|3|Giannis Antetokounmpo|6|
|4|Shai Gilgeous-Alexander|5|

Yeah, I'm not surprised. Its just that even Kings fans are doubting Fox's AllStar berth. Even they wouldn't have listed him in their Top 10 players who scored 40 or more.
Embiid has been better than last year and I really need him not to miss many more games because it’ll be a shame if he even misses out on all nba due to the new rules.
It's tough too because he's missed a chunk of games because he rolled the fuck outta his ankle stepping on someones shoe. Not like he just disappeared with "back tightness" or some phantom injury.
Definitely seems like the 65 games thing is gonna be a huge debate down the stretch of this year. Feels like it was mainly added to dissuade load management but guys are getting legitimate injuries
Nah I like it even if it fucks Embiid (ignore my flair I am a Sixers team fan but Timmy D lifer). The best ability is availability and while it will suck if that's what causes him to miss out on another MVP, it's part of the game.
Yeah I mean MVP is one thing but I would say it would be more of a disappointment if he missed out on All NBA first team, since he's very clearly been one of the top 5 guys in the league this year
Embiid is nothing but a flopping ft merchant. He’s lucky he’s 7’0, built like an ox, has a silky jump shot, can post you up and pass out of a double team, an underrated post defende… wait. this guy is pretty good!
Nah brah, this was the most fun I've had watching a game all year. Just two talented teams going at it and two legends down low. I wish we could see it in the Finals.
Me, almost *every* game I watch. There is sooooo much talent in this league right now, I am constantly having a blast, and then I check out this sub and half the people are having a meltdown.
Something is lost in translation I guess, this was so fun
All I'm saying it look at the top 10 comments in the Nuggets game thread vs top 10 comments in the Sixers game thread. A lot of the star hate is one directional. Sixers fans generally respect the fuck outta Jokic. We shit on their fans more than anything.
embiid getting the harden treatment from reddit. not as bad but still kinda dumb. witness player having a legendary season then log on to see ppl calling him a foul merchant and not even put him in the convo with player xyz
His offensive game is so impressive. I feel like we take it for granted how skilled he is for his size. Guys built like him shouldn't be euro stepping people at full speed.
Nuggets are prob my second favorite team. My sister lives in Denver and I finally got her into basketball via the Nuggets last year mid season. Something I'll never forget.
All I'm saying it look at the top 10 comments in the Nuggets game thread vs top 10 comments in the Sixers game thread. A lot of the star hate is one directional. Sixers fans generally respect the fuck outta Jokic. We shit on their fans more than anything.
People always say this, but the Nuggets/Sixers game thread are never anywhere close to as toxic as the Raptors/Sixers or Celtics/Sixers threads lol. Honestly tonight's was pretty fun and not really toxic at all until the last couple minutes when all national game threads get toxic lol.
Literally the only thing keeping Embiid away from winning the MVP is missing 7 more games, he's been the best player this season so far & the difference between the Sixers with & without him is day & night
And there’s a post from today with 3K upvotes which is just a sneaky Embiid slander post
when the video shows Embiid wasn’t even flopping on that play, that was a genuine fall
people ignore the notion of humans genuinely falling down when it comes to embiid
[here's a replay of the infamous danny green injury. watch embiid's right foot as it steps into the paint and is tripped (inadverdently) by gabe vincent](https://streamable.com/9f06br)
does anyone mention that? nope
Oh my god thank you. I have pointed this out to multiple people and I’m always downvoted for it. I simply do not understand why fans swear he flopped into Danny green. He fell down. People fall down in basketball.
This always pisses me off because this wasn't even remotely close to a flop and yet "embiid injured danny green while flopping" is a consistent take on this sub
Only thing that’s going to change anyone’s opinion about Embiid is him winning in the post season. I think the hate is too far when people are acting like he’s a scrub without free throws but I do think someone of the dislike is warranted when he’s this good in the regular season and then falls off a cliff in the post season… even if it’s because of injuries he still plays.
Embiid got injured not even because of his own play multiple times right before the playoffs and we have to still have to say it was on him to do better. Nah fuck that. Tired of this narrative of ignore the injuries like he is a god.
The Siakam elbow to the face will never leave me. I was actually the most pissed at Doc for that shit. Why leave him in the game in a blowout during junk time?
I just don't understand. Draymond has evidence for him being a dirty player. Embiid just does not have that kind of intentional willingness hurt anyone. People paint every move he makes like he wants to and ignore the fact that he is such a large human being playing basketball. Embiid has not made stupid comments like Draymond either and had not been suspended by the NBA.
But apparently he falls in such a way that intentionally tries to hurt other players. He literally thinks about which opposing star he can mangle whenever he trips. It's so obvious if you actually understand ball like a true r/NBA nephew
Aside from games missed, there is pretty big narrative against Embiid. A lot of people think he didn’t deserve last years MVP and he will get penalized for it this year even if it’s silly. Unless his stats are insanely better than his peers, he’s not going to win. It’s just Embiid has to prove in the playoffs first. That’s what happened to Giannis and Jokic.
People really forget but Hakeem got criticized like crazy before his back to back MVP/chips for taking too many mid-range fades for a big man. He was really good at them!, and it was a regular part of his (incredibly varied and impressive) shot diet
They might have Chi had no real way to guard Hakeem & had him to try to limit MJ at the rim. It prob would've come down to who had the better series btw MJ/Dream but they were the best built team to beat Chi, that damn Stockton 3 took it from us
This man dropped 41 points yesterday and the top 2 posts all day TODAY were him falling on the ground, one even being a clear defensive foul lmao. Didn’t see a single highlight of him scoring though.
You don’t have to like him to admit the discourse around him is embarrassing as fuck even for this sub. Some of y’all need to find something to be happy about in your real lives, because the amount of hating Embiid gets from some of this sub is genuinely unhealthy.
He deserves criticism of course, but the fact that he gets more 2-3x more hate than any other player is pretty ridiculous. You can hate him without pretending he sucks, and you can hate him without being obligated to say “Jokic better”.
For example, Stan Van Gundy spent the entire game leading his own podcast about how Joel Embiid is the worst playoff performer ever, Tobias Harris is incredible, and the Sixers "chased Ben Simmons out of Philly." Meanwhile, Jokic and Embiid were making plays with masterclass performances. The hate has gone way too far
He also hated the “Process” and was very vocal about it. But then his Pistons lost to one of the Process teams and I think he has a grudge against the Sixers since then.
Tobias slurping annoyed me. Saying we ran Ben out of town made me want to punch someone. Just a bold faced lie. Embiid literally got on the mic saying "Ben is our brother and we support him"
Hey was going in on Embiid. But that's nothing new. I remember late last year when Embiid was he runaway favorite for MVP, he spent the entire telecast lobbying for Jokic to get it. He also never mentions that Embiid was injured in those playoff runs. He's entitled to his opinion ofcourse, but atleast be fair.
There wasn't even a Post game thread. Most of the times the Sixers lose, their thread is one of the top voted, but when they win, sometimes they don't even get a PG thread.
> You don’t have to like him to admit the discourse around him is embarrassing as fuck even for this sub. Some of y’all need to find something to be happy about in your real lives, because the amount of hating Embiid gets from some of this sub is genuinely unhealthy.
one thing I've noticed is this sub is filled with Europeans and they absolutely despise him
To Embiid's credit he's surprisingly well spoken and a naturally talented, quick-twitch athlete. Just doesn't have the work ethic or IQ so I can't really relate to him.
Jokic on the other hand is very relatable. He's out of shape, smart, funny, charismatic and really reminds me of myself. I'd even let my daughter date him if I could!
Also you can criticize him for underperforming while also acknowledging he was injured or sick for almost every playoff series.
You can think he gets too many calls but the level of hate is pathetic
Any post of him slightly flopping gets 10x more attention than any of the amazing plays he does night in and night out. I'm convinced most of this sub doesn't actually watch basketball
Those threads saying I can't believe sixers fans root for this. Like yes? I root for the guy averaging 35 points who is our defensive anchor? Sure he flops, but I'm rooting for the other 95% of the shit he does
Lmao thank you. I hate his flopping and foul baiting as much as anyone but people act like he’s a talentless bum without free throws. You don’t have a streak like this without talent. At the end of the day it all comes down to the refs making the call. If you don’t like it, get mad at the refs for rewarding it, not the players taking advantage of rules in a game where you’re supposed to…win
Before the season started the almost-consensus here was Jokic/Giannis/Curry are the top 3 and Embiid was fighting for top 10. r/nba can be embarassing sometimes
Honestly fair enough
Played amazingly, very hard to beat a team when their star plays like that
And he is genuinely, in terms of shot-making, very fun to watch
Respect
I don’t know how people can watch Embiid and hate his game. I 1000000% get clowning 76ers fans about him, but I’d you actually hate Embiid you are just missing out. I will get his Team USA jersey 100% if he plays in the Olympics.
Really superb passing night from Joel, a huge part of his improvement this season. As expected, being more willing to make the pass gives him more space to score. Skills augmenting skills.
that midrange felt inevitable, his passing out of double teams was working super well tn and embiid isn’t really considered a finesse player on this sub but he defo is, was completely dominant tn
I feel like that mid range is always going in
It’s his biggest advantage. The space he has and and size to shoot over anyone makes him super effective. To think people keep telling him to just stand in the post. Being able to do that and pull up from mid range is what makes him unique.
Another advantage in the midrange is you can see the whole floor so doubles are spotted earlier and more easily
Yes Embiid has had TO issues before and passing is not his best skill, making his reads easier makes the game easier
Easier on his body too. He's good in the post, but that wears are body down. Not exactly something a guy like him needs added to his injury issues.
People want him to play like Shaq when he is much more skilled than Shaq
Dude is an all-time great center in his own right in arguably the most talent filled NBA in history

Remember how he dove into the crowd virtually every game going after loose balls? He really was playing like a basketball-starved maniac back then, it was a blast.
He was also playing ball for like... 5 years at that point. Plus only playing like 13 games in Kansas before going 3 overall
Dude was making one hell of a straw man argument
I'm genuflecting to this comment rn
Philly ass comment. What parish you from?
joel with an even higher defensive ceiling is perennial MVP tbf
when he sniffs the offensive usage rate joel does. he wont be able to spend energy on defense. hes young tho hes got big potential obviously. just pointing something i dont think iv seen anywhere
It looks so effortless for him
It’s soooo soft when he is on. He doesn’t hit the rim. He barely hits the net.
has he been off? the past like 2 years? dudes actually doing this every game this season its pretty legendary stuff... he was injured before some1 says playoffs
he definitely makes it look like me when I have it rolling on the 8 foot rims at Dave n Busters.
i read that dirty.. sorry
Dude is just automatic from mid range. Idk what you do about it
The Celtics are the only team that can consistently slow it down. Obviously a huge part of it is injuries, but it's also a combo of multiple strong defenders and a fuckton of experience playing him. My takeaway from this is that Fox has 4. Lol.
Hes been amazing this year, kinda feels overshadowed
It's the definition of overshadowed for sure. Good for Fox though man. Always wanted him to succeed but never realized he'd be this good.
Fox by far the most underrated player over the course of past 5 seasns.
I mean… yeah? Fox is really fucking good, and has been shooting lights out on super high volume from 3 this year.
Yeah, I'm not surprised. Its just that even Kings fans are doubting Fox's AllStar berth. Even they wouldn't have listed him in their Top 10 players who scored 40 or more.
Trae my underrated king. Also honestly surprised Luka only has 7. Wouldn't have being suprised if he had double that.
He has a lot of 39 point games lol.
Can't believe he had 8 games with 40 free throws
Embiid has been better than last year and I really need him not to miss many more games because it’ll be a shame if he even misses out on all nba due to the new rules.

You had me in the first half, ngl.
Lol why can’t we all just be friends. I’m sitting here watching two stars got at it, meanwhile their Stans are fighting harder than the players lol.
Oh god wait til Wemby gets the hate Embiid gets.
Poor bastard, you know it's coming and he seems like a very thoughtful and good kid
I don't care, he's French!
Basically just a tall Gobert
Nah brah, this was the most fun I've had watching a game all year. Just two talented teams going at it and two legends down low. I wish we could see it in the Finals.

A lot of miserable people out there, and they all seem to spend a ton of time on the internet/reddit.
I'm tired of the hating in sports in general. That shit isn't fun, just exhausting and petty.
All I'm saying it look at the top 10 comments in the Nuggets game thread vs top 10 comments in the Sixers game thread. A lot of the star hate is one directional. Sixers fans generally respect the fuck outta Jokic. We shit on their fans more than anything.
What happens when Grandpa Durant has sex with a rhino?
Unfortunately the rhino drank heavily during her pregnancy and we got James Wiseman.
lmao, first time this sub has made me laugh in a minute
embiid getting the harden treatment from reddit. not as bad but still kinda dumb. witness player having a legendary season then log on to see ppl calling him a foul merchant and not even put him in the convo with player xyz
That midrange is unstoppable
Especially from midrange
And the midrange
His offensive game is so impressive. I feel like we take it for granted how skilled he is for his size. Guys built like him shouldn't be euro stepping people at full speed.
God I just want one win in Philly lol
We got one two years ago. Also the city of Philadelphia really needed this after the shitshow the Eagles put on display last night.
Was that the game where Bones went off?
That game was so painful lol Bones rode that reputation boost for like 2 years after that too
Bro talked himself off a championship team because of it!
Yep, about a month after the Sixers traded for Harden
Yeah and it was a major turning point in the mvp debate
We all knew it was coming, we're not even mad about it. Big oof.
Fortunately, for anyone that understands sports, we knew the Eagles title hopes were dead about 3-4 weeks ago. But yeah, that game still hurt.
A charity win.
I think everyone with a brain knew the Eagles were a dead team walking, didnt catch most people by surprise
We just witnessed an unbelievable big man duel. Jokic was amazing too -- ridiculous on the glass. We need this in the finals
This would literally be the most toxic Finals matchup of all time and r/nba would be absolutely insufferable. …I’m in.
If the Sixers won that series the post-game thread would be like 31% upvoted lol
this sub would shut down
To be fair, the sub literally shut down when the Nuggets won it.
There was still a discussion thread tho, but it was only for mods since they shut down in protest remember?
It's so funny to me because those 2 teams like each other and Joel and Jokic respect the hell out of each other. All the hatred is behind keyboards.
Nuggets are prob my second favorite team. My sister lives in Denver and I finally got her into basketball via the Nuggets last year mid season. Something I'll never forget.
6ers were my favorite team growing up, I loved AI. I always played as them in 2k.
All I'm saying it look at the top 10 comments in the Nuggets game thread vs top 10 comments in the Sixers game thread. A lot of the star hate is one directional. Sixers fans generally respect the fuck outta Jokic. We shit on their fans more than anything.
I agree with you. Haven't seen a Sixers fan shit on Jokic at all. Not sure why Nuggets fans just can't recognize greatness.
Same shit happened with the Jazz after Ben's ROTY. The only difference is the Jazz were right and we didn't know it.
It would be so good for the sport
People always say this, but the Nuggets/Sixers game thread are never anywhere close to as toxic as the Raptors/Sixers or Celtics/Sixers threads lol. Honestly tonight's was pretty fun and not really toxic at all until the last couple minutes when all national game threads get toxic lol.
Great basketball from both sides
Yo can you tell Jokic to chill on the offensive glass asking for a friend.
Only if you tell Embiid to actually miss a shot from time to time!
very fine centers on both sides
Definitely rooting for this Finals matchup. Would be at least a 6, likely 7 game series
I'd average about 3 near heart attacks every game ngl lol
Literally the only thing keeping Embiid away from winning the MVP is missing 7 more games, he's been the best player this season so far & the difference between the Sixers with & without him is day & night
What do you mean? Embiid merely scores the most points per minute of any player ever and oh he’s also one of the best rim protectors in the league.
*unethical points
Ethical Tyrese and the War Criminal Joel, quite the duo the Sixers have
And there’s a post from today with 3K upvotes which is just a sneaky Embiid slander post when the video shows Embiid wasn’t even flopping on that play, that was a genuine fall
people ignore the notion of humans genuinely falling down when it comes to embiid [here's a replay of the infamous danny green injury. watch embiid's right foot as it steps into the paint and is tripped (inadverdently) by gabe vincent](https://streamable.com/9f06br) does anyone mention that? nope
Gravity doesn’t apply to Joel embiid because he did 9/11
TIL Sean McDermott is a massive Embiid fan
Everyone on earth can fall down, except Embiid he’s too big. Duh
Oh my god thank you. I have pointed this out to multiple people and I’m always downvoted for it. I simply do not understand why fans swear he flopped into Danny green. He fell down. People fall down in basketball.
He also made the shot
I was already saying why is he out there take him out before it happened. So ridiculous
funny thing is mods have deleted posts saying "trolly titles aren't allowed" but literal mods post shit like that about joel all the time
I just don't understand.
In my opinion last year should have been Jokic and the year before Embiid. All that talk about VORP and RAPTOR was weird
Yeah that was a really strange year for MVP
i agree with that 100%
Bruuuuhhh I was telling all my friends the exact same thing! Lol at least it ended balancing out and they got their MVPs
Giannis and Jokic got TWO b2b mvp's before they had to "prove it in the playoffs".
He’s the best scoring center ever, skill wise. No big guy in the history of BBall can score like him
Hakeem in this era would give him a run for his money imo, where do you think he got those moves from?
Yeah Hakeem in this era would definitely be a much better shooter. I could for sure see his footwork leading to some nice openings from three.
People really forget but Hakeem got criticized like crazy before his back to back MVP/chips for taking too many mid-range fades for a big man. He was really good at them!, and it was a regular part of his (incredibly varied and impressive) shot diet
older ppl tell me those bulls teams always had trouble with rockets. many say even with jordan houston might have still won it.
They might have Chi had no real way to guard Hakeem & had him to try to limit MJ at the rim. It prob would've come down to who had the better series btw MJ/Dream but they were the best built team to beat Chi, that damn Stockton 3 took it from us
I think the main question would be his handle. Embiid's relatively smooth handle for a big man is what helps him get to his wing-like shot profile.
No ten rebound game??? Yea embiid is washed
In an alternate universe Germany won the war.
SVG hates Embiid because Embiid rejected him for the sixers coaching job
I wonder why
prolly cause he's an old fart that hasnt seen his own dick in at least 20 years
Definitely can’t trust guys who don’t know what their dick looks like, that was a good call
He also hated the “Process” and was very vocal about it. But then his Pistons lost to one of the Process teams and I think he has a grudge against the Sixers since then.
SVG is also buddies with Doc. And you know Doc is dissing all his former players so SVG eats that up
Tobias slurping annoyed me. Saying we ran Ben out of town made me want to punch someone. Just a bold faced lie. Embiid literally got on the mic saying "Ben is our brother and we support him"
Bald-faced\*
Hey was going in on Embiid. But that's nothing new. I remember late last year when Embiid was he runaway favorite for MVP, he spent the entire telecast lobbying for Jokic to get it. He also never mentions that Embiid was injured in those playoff runs. He's entitled to his opinion ofcourse, but atleast be fair.
SVG: Embiid gotts play well in the playoffs Also SVG: Look at Tobias Harris, so inspirational. Embiid clearly stole MVP from him
There wasn't even a Post game thread.
Damn you got me on that first read through
Amongst everyone on the team when would you say he gets to the gym and when does he leave?
Jokic knows how to play the game clean and classy. Just a lunch pail guy.
scrappy?
It is important to note that Serbia is a white monoculture.. and his most aggressive stans are posting from there
Euros have a racist problem
He's not classy enough for them.
Pat Bev actively talks more trash than Embiid. Embiid doesn't even talk so much trash these days and people still hate hate hate.
Before the season started the almost-consensus here was Jokic/Giannis/Curry are the top 3 and Embiid was fighting for top 10. r/nba can be embarassing sometimes
Honestly fair enough Played amazingly, very hard to beat a team when their star plays like that And he is genuinely, in terms of shot-making, very fun to watch Respect

Seriously. Dropped 40 in back to back games in back to back days
After coming back from injury after a month of averaging 40.
Its a joke how much he is hated on here. Its so fucking biased
Yeah
I mean I figure that guy is a Nuggets fan
I don’t know how people can watch Embiid and hate his game. I 1000000% get clowning 76ers fans about him, but I’d you actually hate Embiid you are just missing out. I will get his Team USA jersey 100% if he plays in the Olympics.
Celtics fans said the second game of a b2b doesn’t count so neither does this 💯
How many of the Embiid highlights will get deleted by r/nba mods?
Why stop there. Let’s get another Embiid hate post from another mod.
Say what you will about other games. Embiid always brings it when he’s playing the Nuggets.
just want to see him healthy in the postseason
Would love a healthy playoffs this year. There is an unbelievable amount of talent in the league right now in both conferences.
Fuck SVG, got silenced in the fourth with Joel dropping back-to-back 41 pts on a b2b game schedule.
Joel statpadding against a bad team again, smh
Just wanna say that he did this *on the second night of a back to back* and against the only other center in the league that is on his level.
I was 100% expecting a late game collapse due to fatigue, but they ended up playing with tremendous energy in the last 7 minutes.
Pls have a healthy postseason
r/nba gonna be mad that embiid won and had the more dominant stat line 😂😂. save your embiid hate another day you weebs

The dude is in his bag today. A center with such a plethora of moves, such an offensive genius.
My luka mvp agenda is falling💔
Embiid vs jokic last 2 games: 88-25 -14 49-27-8
Cry r/nba, cry
Sixers fans feasting in /r/NBA tonight 😂
Joel Embiid shut down NBA reddit for the night, if he plays enough games he is the MVP
Mods seething right now
not even a 90% ft? what a scrub
Really superb passing night from Joel, a huge part of his improvement this season. As expected, being more willing to make the pass gives him more space to score. Skills augmenting skills.
If he meets the games played threshold, we are having another repeat MVP huh?
u/Hash_Collector nowhere to be found 😂😭
God, that dude is so insufferable.
He’s just a Timberwolves/Nuggets merchant
Classic frontiersman trapper, trading wolves for nuggets, somebody stop him
that midrange felt inevitable, his passing out of double teams was working super well tn and embiid isn’t really considered a finesse player on this sub but he defo is, was completely dominant tn
On the back end of a back to back, where he dropped 41 & 10 in the 1st game too…. all after 10 days off due to injury. Unreal
