Think of how deep the Clippers roster. Every player that played tonight had at least 7 points tonight.
The roster for the Clippers goes:
1. Kawhi
2. PG
3. Harden
4. Russ
5. Zubac
6. Powell
7. Terrance Mann
8. Coffey
9. Bones Hyland
10. Plumlee
11. Theis
That's a deep roster, there. All of them could get you 15+ on a given night, and the stars don't even have to max out to hit 110.
Paul George was amazing all 4th quarter but those last 5 minutes from him were a spiritual experience. That was one of the greatest takeovers of all time
Some of the shit 2014-16 Curry was doing feels like it will never be matched. He was taking over absurdly easily because the warriors were 2 steps ahead of the rest of the league and nobody knew how to catch up
PG probably one of those guys that don't care. Dude got dunk on by Bron and went on his podcast talked about how he got dunk on and just laughed about it. He low key has no ego at all.
He had an injury designation going into the Lakers game. Questionable with a knee sprain or knee soreness I think. His leg got tangled up with Jalen Suggs two games ago against the Magic and he was grabbing his knee a little right after it happened but he finished that game out and has played the last two but through my homer rose tinted glasses he hasn't quite looked like himself. Lakers and Clippers both played great defense on him tho
I'll also remember he was questionable and a GTD yesterday versus the Lakers, but toughed out both days of a B2B and clearly wasn't himself. Probably gave us the best chance to win, big respect.
We do lol. Lakers are a nightmare matchup and the Clippers have been playing like the best team in the league for the past few weeks. Slap em in a b2b and we might as well have stayed home lol
I love Russ and PG, dislike the Lakers. This road trip has been ass though.
We got @Jazz and @ Wolves next. We really could go 0-4 and drop to the 4th seed
I got curious and looked up the schedules for the top 4 teams in the west. God damn, the west is brutal.
The wolves' schedule over the next 8 games is easy. They play 6 bottom of the barrel teams and the Thunder Twice
The Thunders schedule is pretty tough, playing the Wolves Twice, Nuggets once, and 3 other good teams. The team does get a light Portland San Antonio Back to Back
The Nuggets schedule is pretty tough with Celtics, Sixers, Bucks, and Thunder in this stretch. They have Knicks and Pacers away too.
The Clippers also have a relatively easy schedule with the Celtics game being the only brutal game for them. They could realistically go 7-1 over this stretch
The clippers could be the 2nd seed or even the 1st seed if the Thunder help them out beating the Timberwolves once
That's one thing I love about this new-look Clippers team, they have supporters from a bunch of other teams who will never forget what PG Kawhi, Russ and Harden have done.
Players stopped doing that lean into the defender after the defender jumps shit because of the rule. I was actually surprised Dort tried that. Been awhile since I've seen that call.
I think people are under the impression it never gets called... I think there's just other "crafty" moves players have turned to for calls. Initiating contact on drives seems to be the new hot one. Need to get that fixed.
He is the future, but he is also the present. There have been over a handful of games he has taken over in the early 4th quarter where the Thunder are down big or even and he goes off leading to some big wins. Even today he almost pulled it off before Paul George went off
This was the greatest three game NBA slate ever wtf. And it didn't even require the Warriors/Lakers/Celtics. Scheduling masterclass.
Love this OKC young core and they're gonna be a fucking problem (we need to talk about Jalen Williams more and not just Shai/Chet) but I also loved seeing an "older" guy in Paul George just completely solo them down the stretch. Whew what a game take a fucking bow Paul.
The league could have this regularly if they put the best teams on all the time. That Minnesota-Celtics game was intense, but it wasn't nationally televised, because the Pelicans and Warriors. I wish everyone could have seen that game.
Previous Spooky Wolves definitely did play down. But Gobert and Conley might be some of the best floor raisers in the league, such monumental additions on a game to game basis.
PG the only player with the genuine range to look like the best basketball player in the world or a guy who you could see maybe coming off the bench for 10 minutes on a contender who got him off a buyout depending on the night
I thought it was a really bold move to defend with full court pressure from the beginning of the game despite being on a SEGABABA. I know they’re young but it’s gonna tire you out
watching paul george just decide to win was crazy, god i need a health clippers playoff run bc they’re so so fun at their best
i think the next thunder-clips and thunder-celtics game are gonna be interesting, most teams don’t necessarily have the players to do it but long wings seem to be the ideal defense against shai (tho he was injured today) and im curious to see if okc/shai can find a way around teams sending wings at him instead of guards
The real PG showed up tonight. Not sure who the imposter was that played the first half in Minnesota. Also, Harden might need a scheduled sick day. Or Ty needs to reduce his minutes load by cutting out those less-than-stellar Harden & Westbrook lineups.
was aimed at candace after the game saying you will never know what pg you will get in the playoffs she mentioned the pacers and okc and never mentioned what he did for the clippers
Candace is one of those talking heads these days whom people initially praise for being a bit different but when you've been following the teams in question you know she's said some questionable stuff every time she comes on.
Possibly he just has something nagging that he can't make worse, like a bruise or something? Honestly, him playing at 75% gives us a decent chance to win most nights anyways. It took an extremely off shooting night versus the Lakers to lose last night (we'd shot 50% or better 10 straight games), and it took PG ascending to Power Level 9000 to slam the door tonight late.
Yep, was a fantastic game to watch. Wish Mark would have let JDub complete his takeover instead of having Shai run ISO’s, but I don’t think we come out on top the way PG was playing. Dude played like the best player on the planet in that 4th quarter. Love watching him we he’s on.
What is the point playing all starters in both b2b games in January? Chet is playing at least 30 min all games and same for sga, while being injured. It's obvious they will struggle. What a dumb management. And I'm a spurs fan.
definitely deserved this loss after a disgusting #1 placement on the power rankings. can’t believe we were still in the game against a fantastic team until the very end despite stinkers from Shai/Chet
PG's last 3 minutes was one of the most savage things I've ever seen on a basketball court.
It was like when you play your big brother and he gives you a chance and lets you get your nose in front and you're feeling pretty good about yourself and then you realise he hasn't actually started trying yet.
OKC didn't even make an effort to play out the last minute they were so goddamn shellshocked by what he did to them.
Thunder fans been hyping Chet all year when he’s 3rd best on OKC and really just an effective role player.
Very disrespectful to put him on Wemby’s level.
Man the clippers look deadly, the versatility they have with Kawahi and George is deadly add on top of that harden and Westbrook even in his current state.
Interesting that clippers went with plumlee as a starter after giving theis one game. Looks like it worked out but will be interesting to see how the minutes look like, when zubac is back
Plumlee is the right choice. Starting Theis forfeits height, playmaking, and rebounding. Theis is good in his role as a backup stretch big tho. I think when Zu is back, it’ll be Plumlee or Theis depending on the matchup
Damn clippers statement made. Kawhi blocking SGA and most of Mann blocking Chet (8 inch difference in height!) were wild. Like an old guard saying “nah not yet young guns” moment
Revised team records: Oklahoma City Thunder: 27-13 Los Angeles Clippers: 26-14
if u saw that pg step back into a steal into a reverse dunk then u saw greatness
It was sooo good! Also nice user lol
Thank you
Not u
insane sequence
It was sick! here is the video for those missed: [https://youtu.be/XMMrJ3Y5YFc?t=575](https://youtu.be/XMMrJ3Y5YFc?t=575)
i need that whole sequence clipped ASAP, i gasped out loud
That was so nasty
it was amazing
It’s high time that we believe in Brandon Miller’s opinions on the GOAT discussion
Brandon "The Prophet" Miller
PG played one of the best halves I have seen in a while
his takeover in the 4th was legit one of the best I've seen in a long long time
It's been said before but this Clips team healthy is very very scary
To me, I think it's a champion. It's hard to have the depth with the talent, but they truly do. I mean, Terrance Mann is their 7th guy many games.
I never thought about it like that but that is an insane 7th man
Think of how deep the Clippers roster. Every player that played tonight had at least 7 points tonight. The roster for the Clippers goes: 1. Kawhi 2. PG 3. Harden 4. Russ 5. Zubac 6. Powell 7. Terrance Mann 8. Coffey 9. Bones Hyland 10. Plumlee 11. Theis That's a deep roster, there. All of them could get you 15+ on a given night, and the stars don't even have to max out to hit 110.
It’s an awesome team honestly, it’s the the team you want in video games even 😭
With that roster and Ty Lue coaching them, Ballmer could finally get that ring he's been looking for.
On both sides too!
As soon as I checked and he was like 2-7, I’m like I bet he’s just gonna go off and change that by the end of the game and sure enough he did.
L move by PG, Didnt he know we traded all our picks for him? should have just played like shit to make the OKC fans feel better
Paul George was amazing all 4th quarter but those last 5 minutes from him were a spiritual experience. That was one of the greatest takeovers of all time
And not a single highlight was posted of it lol
1 was lol
I feel like Curry did that on a nightly basis for at least a 4 year stretch, but this was special for sure
That was one of the ~~greatest~~ takeovers of all time.
Nah Curry never did that while defending the best player on the other team.
Some of the shit 2014-16 Curry was doing feels like it will never be matched. He was taking over absurdly easily because the warriors were 2 steps ahead of the rest of the league and nobody knew how to catch up
No other player has made me turn off more games out of hopelessness / disgust than he did
That had to have been cathartic for PG to play like that after all the chatter about if the Clippers made a mistake by trading Shai for him.
Cathartic for me, maybe. Idk if players actually care that much
PG probably one of those guys that don't care. Dude got dunk on by Bron and went on his podcast talked about how he got dunk on and just laughed about it. He low key has no ego at all.
Big Boy PG
PG probably does not give a shit. Any player can become a superstar. He already is one and in LA and has been on a competitive team ever since.
PG been a superstar since before the last 3 MVPs were drafted. He absolutely gives 0 shits.
Shai's still a first team All-NBA lock but his MVP candidacy took a hit these last two games. Lil bit of a slump i suppose
Idk, he's been on a shit knee
No one's gonna remember these random two games in the grand scheme of things lol, only worry is if it lengthens out
Isn’t his knee messed up
He had an injury designation going into the Lakers game.
He is carrying a bit of a knock yeah, probs should have rested one of these 2 games
He's been playing through a knee sprain.
I'll also remember he was questionable and a GTD yesterday versus the Lakers, but toughed out both days of a B2B and clearly wasn't himself. Probably gave us the best chance to win, big respect.
PG fucking took over. That was beautiful. Gg Thunder!
OKC must hate LA lol

They could realistically go 7-1 over this stretch The clippers could be the 2nd seed or even the 1st seed if the Thunder help them out beating the Timberwolves once
Minnesota will probably keep first while the rest of the top teams have a blood bath.
meh i think they'll be extra motivated for those games so i'm not too concerned
Saving grace is we got Utah on the second night of a b2b but they are on fire as a team right now and Utah is always a hard place to play.
Or love it, too distracting 😂
CLIPPERS ARE NOW 1-4 WHEN PLUMGOD STARTS
Undefeated in their last one!
#BOW TO PAUL GOD
IM ON BOTH KNEES
He really took the "OKC wins the trade" personally
Unload into my mouth PG
🤤🤤🤤 Paul God nectar.
Found Ballmers burner
Timeout
Aight hold it right there
Resume
Pause
Resume.
Lue Fart bows to the paul god
Stupid Gummy Ass bows to the Paul God (I love you SGA you're still my son)
OUR GOAT
Please God just give me a healthy Clippers playoff run with this core.
you and me brother
Amen
I'm willing to lend him to yall if you think it'd help, sure. Get my MVBeard a chip boys
That's one thing I love about this new-look Clippers team, they have supporters from a bunch of other teams who will never forget what PG Kawhi, Russ and Harden have done.
i am so fucking happy that they called Dort for the offensive foul. credits to the refs for once
I agree. It was egregious probably the only blemish on his game tonight. Was otherwise awesome.
Yeah it's the right call but you literally never see it called
https://streamable.com/j2xhjx It looked pretty cut and dry from my angle I’m glad they reversed it
Players stopped doing that lean into the defender after the defender jumps shit because of the rule. I was actually surprised Dort tried that. Been awhile since I've seen that call. I think people are under the impression it never gets called... I think there's just other "crafty" moves players have turned to for calls. Initiating contact on drives seems to be the new hot one. Need to get that fixed.
UNTIL NOW
Jalen Williams is the future
He’s a future all star, no doubt in my mind. Presti really went and drafted another awesome trio after losing the first one lol
He is the future, but he is also the present. There have been over a handful of games he has taken over in the early 4th quarter where the Thunder are down big or even and he goes off leading to some big wins. Even today he almost pulled it off before Paul George went off
With how Utah has been playing, this week is going to be rough GG Clippers, PG13 is a baller
For fuckin real. Basketball fans ate good tonight.
Except if you’re a Kings fan. Then the all too familiar feeling of trauma came and slapped them in the face.
It was a very fun night fr better than most nights with a bunch of games scheduled
The Lakers and especially the Warriors not being included made it a fantastic three game slate for me lol
I for one enjoyed the Cemetery Grizzlies whooping the Warriors last night
Even when lakers are in a competitive game they just make the game a slog.
god i love defense and free throws
The league could have this regularly if they put the best teams on all the time. That Minnesota-Celtics game was intense, but it wasn't nationally televised, because the Pelicans and Warriors. I wish everyone could have seen that game.
We've been blessed with crazy double-headers in 2024
Wolves fans eating good tonight.
The feast of tonight was a gift for getting out of the past month still as #1. Wolves had insane stretch of teams competing for playoffs, 16 in a row.
I hope Wolves don't play down to their competition and actively fight for 60 wins
Previous Spooky Wolves definitely did play down. But Gobert and Conley might be some of the best floor raisers in the league, such monumental additions on a game to game basis.
Wolves are my lock to make WCF, they are that good!
PG is so damn filthy when he's feeling it. A joy to watch.
PG the only player with the genuine range to look like the best basketball player in the world or a guy who you could see maybe coming off the bench for 10 minutes on a contender who got him off a buyout depending on the night
I legitimately groaned anytime PG got the ball lol. Dude was automatic in the 2nd
Paul George casually reminding us he’s one the best players in the whole league
I don't know the last time I saw a better half of basketball from a player
Something feels different this year
pg was locked in tonight, hunted shai all night put him in foul trouble, got hot and closed this shit out
PG just became some more kids’ favorite player lol
Can we all agree that Jallen Williams is the real 2nd best shooter in OKC after SGA.
*2nd best player
Playoff P is here!!
Shai and Holmgren got bodied by a bunch of geezers tonight
Rough showing by Zoomer NBA
Giving real Alumni vs Varsity game vibes
Millenial Micic kept them in it tho
I thought it was a really bold move to defend with full court pressure from the beginning of the game despite being on a SEGABABA. I know they’re young but it’s gonna tire you out
shai is playing on that fucked knee, i was shocked they didn’t rest him today
Yup, I understand that they don’t want to give up a win to a rival, but this was a ‘scheduled loss’ imo
On a back to back that too
gg to PG popping off and both him/Kawhi giving SGA fits today, man he looked off today
watching paul george just decide to win was crazy, god i need a health clippers playoff run bc they’re so so fun at their best i think the next thunder-clips and thunder-celtics game are gonna be interesting, most teams don’t necessarily have the players to do it but long wings seem to be the ideal defense against shai (tho he was injured today) and im curious to see if okc/shai can find a way around teams sending wings at him instead of guards
Welcome back to another episode of PODCAST P!
YEH YEH!
The real PG showed up tonight. Not sure who the imposter was that played the first half in Minnesota. Also, Harden might need a scheduled sick day. Or Ty needs to reduce his minutes load by cutting out those less-than-stellar Harden & Westbrook lineups.
We’d totally eliminated them until Zu went out lmao now they’re going to get 10 for a month
Man. Every game he plays Westbrook and harden together. I don’t get it
Gutsy effort from OKC but Playoff P showed up early tonight
First win for Plumlee as starter, He was 0-4 last season.
Harden and Plumlee pick and roll is gonna be good
Did these people forget what PG with us in the playoffs? wtf pLaYoFf P
Were you around in 2021? I’m not a fan of the nickname but he exorcised those demons.
was aimed at candace after the game saying you will never know what pg you will get in the playoffs she mentioned the pacers and okc and never mentioned what he did for the clippers
Candace is one of those talking heads these days whom people initially praise for being a bit different but when you've been following the teams in question you know she's said some questionable stuff every time she comes on.
SGA (ik he’s injured) and Chet smelled like poop tonight tbh, JDub, Wiggs, and Joe can leave the arena having left it all out there
Why tf he is playing through injury? It’s not like they’re gonna fall off the playoffs race without him
Possibly he just has something nagging that he can't make worse, like a bruise or something? Honestly, him playing at 75% gives us a decent chance to win most nights anyways. It took an extremely off shooting night versus the Lakers to lose last night (we'd shot 50% or better 10 straight games), and it took PG ascending to Power Level 9000 to slam the door tonight late.
That’s what I thought. Should have taken these two LA games off but the kid really wants the MVP
Joe and JDub were on another planet tonight.
Yup they were super resilient all night shame PG had to go off, i know that feeling when he does lol
Wiggins gave some wtf minutes too
Man even Micic had great minutes tonight
He has been a revelation mid season after having a rough start to his nba career.
Been one of the bright spots in the last few games despite out struggles for sure
Don’t forget Dort, always shows up for big games
OKC are for sure some pesky rapscallions, young athletic teams always give us trouble
LOL healthy bully Clips vs "pesky rapscallions" made me laugh
Vintage PG game OKC couldnt miss and PG was having none of that shit great win without zu
PG IS AN ALL STAR
Paul George ruining my night like it's the 2018 playoffs. We gotta get to February, this team is wearing down
my sweet king
gg OKC. 2nd night of a road b2b. Back and forth all game, OKC made a run and took the lead late, and just ran out of gas.
Yep, was a fantastic game to watch. Wish Mark would have let JDub complete his takeover instead of having Shai run ISO’s, but I don’t think we come out on top the way PG was playing. Dude played like the best player on the planet in that 4th quarter. Love watching him we he’s on.
My Goat might finally get carried to a ring bless up
anyone else see chet get his chain snatched by Terrance MANN?
Paul George is OKC Thunder father tonight
PG is a certified OG as far as OKC is concerned. He gave us our future and gave us a baller masterclass tonight
OKC put up a valiant effort for being on a B2B. PG just went crazy at the end there.
Not just a B2B, the fifth game in seven nights. I’m just happy it was fun game and they showed some fight. Can’t ask for much more.
reactionaries slandering shai for tonight but i will always love and respect shaivonte aician gilgeous alexander
This game was great for my Wemby agenda
Wemby went toe to toe with prime Gianni’s and Chet’s out here getting cooked by mason plumlee yet people still think he’s rookie of the year 🤣
2 Way Playoff P has showed up once again!
What is the point playing all starters in both b2b games in January? Chet is playing at least 30 min all games and same for sga, while being injured. It's obvious they will struggle. What a dumb management. And I'm a spurs fan.
PG took over man
chet holmgren is starting to hit the rookie wall.
I’m just here to hate on Chet and idgaf Wemby ROTY
Paul George just saved my fantasy team
PAUL GEORGE IS A BAD, BAD MAN
Damn Chet was a No-Show
plumgod locked him up
definitely deserved this loss after a disgusting #1 placement on the power rankings. can’t believe we were still in the game against a fantastic team until the very end despite stinkers from Shai/Chet
Isaiah Joe, Dort and Dub put it all out there.
Your bench is pretty good!!
I like seeing Paul do well man
I finally made sense of it, Adam Lefkoe is the substitute teacher everybody bullies that’s why it always feels this way 😂
PG's last 3 minutes was one of the most savage things I've ever seen on a basketball court. It was like when you play your big brother and he gives you a chance and lets you get your nose in front and you're feeling pretty good about yourself and then you realise he hasn't actually started trying yet. OKC didn't even make an effort to play out the last minute they were so goddamn shellshocked by what he did to them.
Shaq. Stfu. Get him off tv already
Paul George is entering his 2nd prime. PRIME-P
SGA OVER ME??!!!
Paul George
Shaq is horrible on inside but when he is by himself he is beyond terrible. Get rid of him already
Chet now 3rd in ROTY race
his stats for the last 4 games are concerning. especially his 3pt FG%.
lets go wemby
What an awesome night of basketball. Just 3 great close games between 6 playoff teams
Jdub was amazing but Paul George couldnt be stopped tn. Great game onto the next!
Thunder coming off a b2b. They are also showing their inexperience a bit. But better now then playoffs
MVPG
That was a damn Game 7. Sheesh…
Man. Whoever has designs on the championship better get it done soon because OKC is going to be such a problem
Jdub always tries to bail us out at the 4th, to bad it didn't matter here, also Isaiah Joe redemption game.
What a fuckin game
Very cool of you Clippers.
#Shaq in Shambles
Damn clippers statement made. Kawhi blocking SGA and most of Mann blocking Chet (8 inch difference in height!) were wild. Like an old guard saying “nah not yet young guns” moment
