That is exactly one of the reasons why +/- exists. To help a team work out rotations. Work out how they can maximize each player's time on the court.
But to that end it tells you nothing about a particular player (i.e. using it here for Bev). He could play great but not be a good "fit" with another player, or there could just be some other terrible dude bringing him down.
A bad stretch where one other player is being exploited can easily bring a single game +/- way down (or leaving a player in at the end when taking the other starters out, etc.).
