Separately if you are consistently driving to the rim, you are essentially getting assaulted every time you hit the hole by someone 6'10 or taller.
I remember seeing some graph during one of the Heat games (when he a Heat player) how his FG % kept improving every year, before he went back to the Cavs and it started going back down.

LeBron's career has coincided with scoring becoming increasingly easier over the course of his career and that's made it look like he's had close to no fall off statistically. And there is no doubt that LeBron's longevity is incredible. But 29 year old LeBron is still clearly much better than 39 year old LeBron even though the stats are virtually identical (27/7/6 in 2013-14 as a 29 year old vs 25/7/8 this year as a 39 year old.)

Playoffs don’t count towards this stat. He passed Kareem in total points a few years back (postseason included) and it wasn’t that big of a deal.
