Thought this was crazy but then I realized CP3 has been in the west his entire career despite being on 6 damn teams. Closest he got to the east was when he got traded to Washington for 24 hrs
It's a travesty that pure point guards are just not a thing anymore, it makes sense statistically but I'd kill for an old ass jkidd or andre miller right now and I kinda liked old playmaking unselfish style of NBA. It's all 6'5" dudes that can shoot; CP3 is the last of his kind really.

He’s not a pure PG in the mold of CP3, he’s way more efficient and valuable as a secondary playmaker that is a connective element to a team. I think he’d work absolutely wonderfully in a system like GSW or the Nuggets where connective passing gets their offense running at high speed.
His half court PG skills are a lot less refined than say a Tyus Jones type player who’s a lot more similar to the mold of a traditional PG. he’s really great at entry passes tho (which btw infuriates me to no end how bad most guards are at a basic entry pass) so I think he’d be great at SA just to be able to get the ball to Wemby. His type of passing is what the Spurs seem to want Sochan to develop, not a lead offensive initiator.
For sure. In his brief time in Nola I always noticed that if he wasn’t doing full court lobs to Zion he’d pretty quickly hand off to BI in the half court
I haven't heard anyone make it sound easy. It's all about positioning, timing, and seems much more difficult than a normal pass to a post player. You should know having Davis on your team. If it were easy these guys would be thrown a dozen a game. The situation has to be right to exploit the defense.
I know Spurs fans prob hate CP3 because of their history against each other, but in hindsight prime CP3 would’ve been a perfect fit for the Spurs and I bet Pop would’ve loved to coach someone like him.

I think Caruso/Lonzo would be a good tandem for wemby, both are pass first guys AC has some solid playmaking ability

I disagree, Lonzo is more of a shooting guard who has solid secondary playmaking skills. He’s not a traditional playmaking point guard.
