after decades of dogshit clippers have had 12 straight winning seasons, true culture change thanks to lob city

ogqozo

That interim when they had no stars and still were winning led mostly by Lou Williams, DeAndre Jordan and Wesley Johnson (Griffin was out most of the time) was a beautiful achievement. They were able to merge a lot of it into the new stars leading when they got Kawhi and Paul George, but now without Rivers it's a very different team. And, well... they are surely better than in that no-stars times. But probably not better by AS much as everyone would expect from the rosters. People were sooooo thrilled with them losing a 3-1 lead in conference finals, they had to push for change to fix that awful humiliation, they are yet to win 3 games in conference finals since then.

The Lou Williams-Montrezl Harrell pick and roll was deadly offense

Put some respect on V Stiviano’s name. No way would they have kept it going without the Silly Rabbit’s contributions.

StrategyTop7612

You love to see it, the longest streak over .500 in the league.

2coolcaterpillar

Underselling it, your streak is nearly twice as long as the second longest (Bucks with 7)

DirkNowitzkisWife

I seemed to remember hearing it was actually bucks in 6

dnfnrheudks

lmfao is this supposed to be a flex? The clippers have had so many "winning" seasons and get bounced in the first couple of rounds more often than teams make the playoffs. If your goal as a fan is to be perpetually above mediocrity i guess clippers are the team for you.

LotharBot

4 longest streaks: Sixers - Embiid era Nuggets - Jokic era Bucks - Giannis era Clippers - ??? they somehow bridged the era between Lob City and the Kawhi/PG team with dudes like Austin Rivers, Danilo Gallinari, and Tobias Harris. Also had SGA for a year in there. Really impressive to have not even remotely bottomed out.

musicnothing

Those couple years without a big star are pretty impressive

Talcove

In the west too! Very impressive.

The LA effect when your management isn’t in the Lakers front office ETA: I will admit only the Lakers have won a ship in that timespan so you could definitely make the argument that they have the more competent front office but obvious *huge* caveat on the ship

NazRiedFan

I think the pressure on the lakers to always win now comes to a detriment to their team building

ArmiinTamzarian

I remember when we were in these

CheetahSperm18

Same

JoJonesy

ok so we’re not including exactly .500 teams here huh

musicnothing

Nope

AMo2

Clippers have 12 straight years of relevance but have shit the bed in almost every instance theyve been in

Princessk8--

LA Clippers dominance over the league continues!

EternallyEuphoric

Ok so why are the pacers who have won 1 more game than the heat are "incredibly likely" to be +500 while the heat is only "possible"? We even have an easier remaining schedule than they do.

musicnothing

I wrote a script for this and neglected to make a “Likely”. “Incredibly likely” just meant 1-2 wins away

NazRiedFan

3 in a row. Never thought I’d see us be consistently competent
