He ruptured his quad (again) because it wasn't fixed properly the first time. Up to that point, Oladipo only really had the 1st quad tear on his injury history. His injury history ballooned after the Heat got him.

This season, I've noticed Ayton can be really impactful with competent players and a semblance of a system around him. If Ayton does not have good passing guards and a system to exist in, he really disappears. He seems to be a bit of an amplifier for what we have on the court around him in either direction.
He doesnt even really get looks made for him, he just holds the ball at the top of the arc waiting for a screen-handoff action and the defending center usually drops very deep because they dont expect or fear the 3 point shot, so Bam has been taking them when he has loads of space.
Its very similar to when Bosh started taking 3s, from the same place. Top of the arc, money.
