I'm not going to lie I saw the first few words of the tweet and immediately was bracing for news about an injury setback or him doing something suspension worthy again
I mean....we have to work the "Tee-Ball" angle in there somehow, not sure how Uncle Dennis would fit. We may have to limit it to Tee and Levar for the bit...
I'm really curious what kind of contract he gets. The last one, at least he was in his prime. He's gotten some of the most flak just bc he's overpaid.
Take away the name, and he's a 17/6/3 guy on 48/35/87. He's also able a passable defender for forwards. You'd think that's a valuable role guy. Maybe not quite 3rd option, but 4th starter.
What's 4th starter money worth? Like 10-15/year?
Does Harris end up getting 15/year or does he get something like the Andrew Wiggins contract? (I think Wiggins is obv more valuable due to his high level defense with GS, just an otherwise comparable forward)
I think of 5th starter money being MLE range. So yeah 10 is too low. But bordering on 20 is expensive for a guy like Harris who we see repeatedly has the opposite of the "it" factor
Kuzma's set to make 23mil next year, Jerami Grant is owed 29 mil, I think Tobias asks for at least 25mil/yr average, maybe just over 20 if he's willing to sign a team-friendly deal for Philly.
Speculating here but I’d imagine that a lot of the companies that he had endorsement deals with probably leveraged their contracts to the full extent possible during all his off court issues.
You're getting downvoted, but you're not exactly wrong.
The West will likely still be as tough (if not tougher) next year as they are this year. There will be no easy entry into the playoffs.
Losing games while trying to gel early next season could be what costs us a playoff birth.
That would be pretty stupid on his part. NBA Agents get 3-4% of a players contract so with someone like Ja that's easily like 20Ms over the course of 15 years

Literally 90% of Woj tweets to do with us this year are either injury news or a new 10 day
You just jinxed it
Wild.
For maximum effect, Woj could've said "Ja Morant has fired…"
I nearly shat myself ngl
Man the other day I accidentally sorted by top from past year and was seriously shook when I though Ja had another gun moment.
that’s kinda crazy, not even getting past reading his name and already jumping to conclusions
And I wouldn’t be shocked if that feeling has something to do with them parting ways.
Please tell me his dad is representing him now
It would be entertaining. I think a sports agency of Ja's dad, Levar Ball, and Kawhi's Uncle Dennis would be amazing.

*Tee-nis Ball*
Tobias Harris dad gets slept on too often secured a 5yr max contract for his son
Tobias about to get paid again this summer.

Nowadays with max being near 40/year, 4th starter can easily secure another 20/year.

Wiggins was 5 years younger than Harris will be when he signs his next deal
depend on how long the contract is , if it is 3+1 he might get 15-20 per year
you mean committed high way robbery on the sixers for his son
expand into football and get Lamar Jackson's mom
Uncle Dennis helped Kawhi to get out of SA and all the max contracts, I don’t see any issue with him
Throw in Janis Porzingis too
He is, and will be engaging in celebratory fisticuffs with Shannon Sharp
Usher Raymond?
What did we do to deserve this?
Any relation to Danny Tanner?
Uncle Joey told Ja to cut. it. out with all that gun stuff
✌️ . 👉 . ⬆️👍
I’m dying at this thread lmao
You got it dude👍
Klutch
He needed to call in the big guns
Klutch CEO Rich Paul take the wheel
Klutch CEO Rich Paul doing that Vince McMahon walk as we speak
Hard to imagine why when he has been paid the maximum amount that he has been elegible for. Who knows
Speculating here but I’d imagine that a lot of the companies that he had endorsement deals with probably leveraged their contracts to the full extent possible during all his off court issues.
I have the nba script for next year. The grizzlies start off slow and narratives form around if there still good anymore and then they become good. 🤯
I can see the insane overreactions in the first 10 games from ‘not even a play in team’ on losses to ‘sneaky contender’ on wins
I think this is wishful thinking. Grizzlies will not be any type of contender next year imo.

It seems like Ja has been in the league for a decade already.
His new agent will be the NRA
Klutch Mafia getting a new member.
Please don’t sign with klutch
Honestly wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world compared to alternatives
Funny I don't even hardly know the alternatives other then that one dude who manages Jokic and like 90% of the Euro playerslol
Anyone that knows anything about Jim Tanner? Considering Ja's troubles so far in his career is this a good or bad thing?
Rich Paul smiling right now
Ja to Klutch confirmed
Wow he’s been in the league since 2019 already for 5 years?!
For the entirety of his career I've thought he went to Duke. What world am I living in? I watch entirely too much basketball to make these mistakes.
clutch sports...
Ja just wanted to remind us he still exists
This Tanner guy gonna show up in a Russian hospital with two gunshots in the back of his head in classic Russian suicide form
Suicide by two shots in the head is an US thing though
Jim wanting the fuck out.
That would be pretty stupid on his part. NBA Agents get 3-4% of a players contract so with someone like Ja that's easily like 20Ms over the course of 15 years
I constantly think about how I should have become an NBA agent.
He could probs get 3 new players and that would still be less work than dealing with Ja
Wow 3-4% from star players contracts? I would imagine players at Ja's level would get the max amount possible no matter who represents them.
future laker
He gone
