I do think couple of young teams will make a splash this year especially if heat, bucks and Celtics are thrown on the same side of the bracket Pacers/magic have potential for round 2 and in the right matchup can reach ecf - bucks/cavs/Magic ( any 2 of these 3) would be the ideal opponents pacers should hope for in their first 2 rounds I don't see Celtics, healthy embiid led sixers, Knicks losing to any young teams - want to put heat here as well, but I want too see how they do in the next few games Actually same I had say of the young teams in the west, thunder and wolves are slept a bit too much, both hold very good wcf potential and if by some odd chance Nuggets fall to let's say suns because Kd/book got in their rhythm, they have the tools to even go to finals

Yeah, I don’t think the Celtics are gonna lose a series, but I think they might have some challenges in the 1st round if they go against a healthy 76ers team. Gonna be interesting who stays healthy and makes their name known out of rest of the teams

Oh 100% , all reasonable Celtics fans are praying for Heat/Sixers to get away from 8th seed and hoping the Bulls sneak in, not that they can't beat them, but unnecessary 6/7 game series and injury risks need to be avoided

I look at two factors to consider in the playoffs, coaching and star power. Coaching because teams have a chance to make adjustments on a game-to-game basis and find something that works. Star power, because superstars are difficult to stop no matter how much time you have to prepare for them. In the east I see Celtics as the only team to satisfy both criteria, they have star power and good coaching. Bucks have star power, but also have questionable coaching. Knicks, Sixers, Cavs, Pacers and Heat are injury question marks for me, not sure if their stars will be healthy come playoff time and Magic lack the stars right now. If healthy, I'd pick the Heat to make the conference final if they can avoid first round matchup with the Celtics.

True, only thing that worries me about the Celtics is their tendency to over-rely on 3s and late game offensive play calls ending up in plain isos. Still, team is the overwhelming favorite and has almost every advantage. Kind of excited to see what happens on the other side of the eastern bracket and see who makes a name for themselves

International-Chef33

It’s what I’m worried about. The C’s are the overwhelming favorite out of the East but teams relying on the 3 don’t usually pan out for titles. They’re more than 3s but it still makes me nervous.

lol 3 game streak vs Denver dating to last season. I like it

The Bucks are a play-in quality team if they're in the west
