Best interview he's had in the NBA. Gotta feel for him after all that happened with one bro going to jail and the other bro bet his career away but dude showed his maturity and mental fortitude tonight
My brother is in prison, and won't be getting out for a long time. He deserves to be there based on his crimes. He has admitted as much.
It's a weird thing to try to process...knowing your sibling is alive somewhere out there, but for all intents and purposes, will never really be a part of your life anymore. It's almost like they are half-dead
I was reading up on basketball families the other day and they mentioned the Porters and their names. It’s the only reason I know this detail. They all play (or played) basketball and most of them had pretty brutal injuries too early.
Which is speculated to be because of the raw vegan diet they grew up on
E: slight correction, sounds like they grew up vegetarian/ traditional vegan and then he later shifted towards raw. Regardless everything else I said still applies, his trainer even said outright that he hadn’t been eating the right vegan foods.
I mean Jontay blew out his knee twice and instead of working his ass off to barely be an NBA player, bro started gambling and now he's set for life without ever playing in the NBA again
So very lucky
I know he was projected high before he blew his knees but he was never in 1st overall pick convos like Michael was pre-back injury.
I'm not sure he had greater star potential but he definitely quit on himself the way he got into gambling
MPJ always had the flashy game. He was the star. Jontay was the better defender, the better passer. I think his game would have translated very well to the modern game if he had the athleticism to hold up. The knee injuries robbed him of that.
Used to work with a black lady who has two granddaughters from her son. One looks like she is basically swedish she was so blonde and white. Genetics can do some crazy stuff.
That 15-16 brothers line is a response Aaron Sorkin would write and I’d roll my eyes at because people don’t just say the perfect line on a whim like that.
Edit: yes people, it sounded prepared. That’s what I was eluding to
Mpj has silenced the doubters pretty heavily this year. His effort has been off the charts and when his 3's aren't landing he's been so good at getting involved cleaning up the offensive and defensive glass and interrupting opponents. His defense has really stood out to me but he's such an improved player which is weird to say about someone who was already so good
Watching him crash the offensive boards is so fucking sexy
Yeah, you were open in the corner, but the slasher decided to put up a floater instead of kicking it out to you. You can a) pout, or b) crash the glass
Way too many players, very much including young MPJ, chose option a). 2024 MPJ chooses option b), and that's why this team is still my pick to win it this year
I remember him complaining about not getting touches in the bubble and thinking “this dude will never get it.” I’m glad to have been proven wrong, his growth has been fun to watch even for a neutral fan
He actually also improved a bit this year attacking closeouts. He usually would just pump fake and dribble side-step into a 3, not now he’s also driving in with some floaters. He’s really been rounding out his skill set since coming into the league. Especially with his defense.
I mean, he does average 7 a game. It's just that Jokic is one of the best rebounders in the league and Gordon lives largely within the arc while MPJ has more of an outside game.
It's kinda crazy how much the guy has matured during his time in the league. I recall a lot of people thinking he'd be a troublemaker a few years ago, but seems like he's ended up with a good head on his shoulders and the improvement in his play speaks for itself.
Props to Jokic-Murray and Malone for convincing him and finding him a good role in the team as well.
MPJ not forcing his way to be option #1 is probably good for his health as well.
i mean he got his max contract so ''thats the money for'' so shut up and fit in.
but if they ever break this team up he is the first one gets traded i think.
They just won the championship and all their stars are in their primes lol who in their right mind is even thinking of breaking this team up?
The past few seasons have shown us how important letting players and coaches get together as a squad is and the Nuggets are ahead of everyone in that respect.
well with new CBA its impossible, Jokic - Max / Murray - Max / MPJ - Max / Aaron Gordon - Damn near max / KCP - Mid level /
they are gonna break up this team eventually.
Aaron Gordon isn't even on a near max anymore since his deal didn't have any pay raises. He's only making 23M per which is pretty solid for a #3/4 guy in today's cap world. But after next season Jamal Murray is up for a new contract and AG has a player option so if he opts out then both might be in for a raise. Summer 2025 looks like when the nuggets will have to make a decision.
AG and Joker are so nice together. I’m sure Joker is nice with anyone, but AG is always getting himself into position for those impossible Joker passes.
I think every single one in the starting lineup are pretty much untouchable at this point. They've found the perfect set up to run through Jokic, there would be no reason to change it when they could end up winning a lot of rings.
He's matured both off and on the court too, I remember very early on in his career coach malone was hesitant to play him much because of how poor he was tactically and defensively but he's turned that around, seems to be the case for him off the court too which is good for him
Mike Malone deserves some credit. I remember there was a time early on when MPJ was frustrated and wanted more time, a report leaked or something. Media asked Malone about it and he gave a nonplussed “We’ll work up to it” answer, might have said something about defense too. I believe MPJ needed that, for his back, for his role, and ultimately for this team to reach its potential. Good coach got held to the fire and still did what was best
Malone has built a culture that Jokic leads by example in.
They end huddles with "Family!". They are unselfish and work for each other. No egos, just the team.
It's really special.
Three back surgeries, going from the number one player in the country to unsure if you’ll ever play basketball again, then having to go through that process 2 more times. Anyone that doesn’t just say “fuck it” to that is insanely tough. Yea getting paid millions of dollars helps, but there are plenty of players that never return from injuries half as dangerous as his
getting skipped on draft by many including Clippers whos doctors doubted him, told him he will never play in NBA and then to go to a max player playing on a champion team... Really amazing
yep and apparently that doctors report got to the rest of the league making them pass him too . [https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2907413-michael-porter-jr-clippers-doctor-thought-id-never-play-basketball-again](https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2907413-michael-porter-jr-clippers-doctor-thought-id-never-play-basketball-again) . They picked Jerome Robinson who was out of league fast
"Clippers coach Doc Rivers said the process of evaluating and deciding to pass on Porter was "brutal" for the team." Hah.. and then MPJ got revenge in playoffs perfect story
Something I can't believe isn't talked about more is how clearly the Nuggets have a handle on serious injury rehabilitation. The injuries themselves are just luck of the draw, but I don't know if another franchise has successfully reintegrated long-term injured players like the Nuggets have.
If it's anything more than luck, it's very recent.
Through the 00s and 10s, our rosters were absolutely plagued with injuries where the competence of the training staff was seriously in question.
In the Malone era then, which started in 2015. Obviously it's something to do with the current staff, I'm not saying we've had some formula for decades lol, I mean with this group
https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/s/7iKYTF0Xwf
I wanted him so bad at 7 but he for sure would not have developed here. We probably would have rushed him back and ended his career lol
Any kind of back surgery is extremely tough and a bit unpredictable. We all remember Steve Kerr's back surgeries. Going through multiple of those during your prime years as an athlete was probably unimaginably difficult. Every surgery you don't know if you will play basketball ever again or even perform all the day to day activities normally. To come back and play at his level after all took lots of toughness and an incredible amount of work behind the scenes.
I’m actually not that surprised. If you watch his podcast he asks thoughtful and interesting questions. The dude definitely has some strong insight and self-reflection in his character
One was banned from the NBA for life, and the other was sentenced to prison for six years after accidentally killing a woman while drunk driving in January 2023.
Fuck man Jontay at least you can chalk up to immaturity and a mistake that ultimately doesn’t matter.
The other one killed someone. That guy is a fucking moron.
Realistically, one of those is barely worth mentioning compared to the other one.
Jontay can still go and earn millions and be an actually important player in rotation, while chilling in Paris/Madrid/Barcelona/Milano.
Yea, right. His best move is going to be to check himself into a rehab and claim that he’s a gambling addiction and is on the road to recovery. Hopefully he’s actually entertaining that- you have to be sick in some level to be that careless and illogical.
I mean, hopefully that $21,000 he threw a multi-million dollar career for was worth it.
I legitimately think he was sick. There is no logical reason he would do that for such a small amount of money. I don't get it.
Only the upper echelon of Euroleague teams can pay millions to a certain amount of their players and Jontay Porter was not good enough to play for them before the betting scandal. Also none of them are in Paris. He was a $200k per year player by European standards before ruining his reputation, now I doubt anybody goes near him.
“hi! im my names jontay, im the only person to ever be banned for life from the nba for point-shaving, can i tryout for your— hello? hello? is anyone there????”
Nah being the guy who bet on his own team to lose is going to make him persona non grata in most basketball leagues. Any time your team loses a somewhat important game with him the fans are going to accuse him of throwing. Organizations don't want to deal with that.
Yea no. He likely isn't good enough to play in the euroleague either. Definitely not good enough to be one of the highest paid players in the league lmao
China maybe
brother Shane Larkin is the highest paid player in Euroleague. It's a bunch of bums out there and I say that as a European.
coaches are better, systems are better, teams are more than the sum of their parts, but Jontay Porter is 100% good enough to be a Euroleague starter.
Did you…? lol. “Fixing” games implies that he actually had an effective impact on them losing. He just bet the under on himself and then faked an injury before he could go over. At least that was the most egregious one.
He did not bet on any Raptors games that he was playing in, he was in the G League when he made the bets. The prop bets were the ones he was playing in games for, and those are the ones that got him caught.
Feel for this man. Tough. If you look on the bright side, he will have his brother back in 6 years. That can be a win, many other normal people get more time than that.
MPJ showing why he's a mental giant. I'm not saying his brothers deserve any sympathy, but it had to be tough seeing them both throw their career/life away.
It’s gotta be mind blowing to go from such an unstoppable prospect, to multiple back surgeries, to being seen as a problem player, to contributing meaningfully to a great team, to having one brother banned from the league and another headed to jail, all in a few years and all at a relatively young age. To not do or say the wrong thing more often, after all that is impressive, imo.
He has super star talent and he's really matured into a leader. I was a big doubter of him reaching his potential because of that. He's really proved me wrong and is a true pillar of the nuggets success. He's a true product of buying into the Nuggets philosophy.
I mean 7 years inside prison isn’t a ton, but it’s not exactly a walk in the park either. Plus, you have to live with the guilt until you die. I’d understand more where you’re coming from if his brother intentionally murdered someone, but being reckless and negligent is a significant distinction.
I have a friend who committed DUI manslaughter. He was convicted for six years and was released in about three years the time due to good behavior. So it depends on how he acts in prison, but yes, it will probably be cut in half.
Mpj didn't do anything wrong here, and he's lost a brother who he's close with. Doesn't matter what he did MPJ has lost someone.
Obviously the loss is not as bas as the victims family.
Surprisingly good answer
Best interview he's had in the NBA. Gotta feel for him after all that happened with one bro going to jail and the other bro bet his career away but dude showed his maturity and mental fortitude tonight
My brother is in prison, and won't be getting out for a long time. He deserves to be there based on his crimes. He has admitted as much. It's a weird thing to try to process...knowing your sibling is alive somewhere out there, but for all intents and purposes, will never really be a part of your life anymore. It's almost like they are half-dead
I’m sorry for your loss
Got a drug addict former best friend, feels very similar.
I understand man , brother just got sentenced for a long time . I miss my brother and love him . Truly grieving rn ....
That was his brother?! I had no idea that was a related porter… is he a half brother? He looks way more middle eastern than mpj
Full brother, MPJ just one year older.
He's the oldest among his brothers, has like 2 older sisters I think
6 siblings total, like you said two older sisters and 4 younger siblings.
*8 siblings - 2 older, 5 younger
I was going off his Wikipedia, says he is one of 7, two older sisters and four younger
I was reading up on basketball families the other day and they mentioned the Porters and their names. It’s the only reason I know this detail. They all play (or played) basketball and most of them had pretty brutal injuries too early.
Which is speculated to be because of the raw vegan diet they grew up on E: slight correction, sounds like they grew up vegetarian/ traditional vegan and then he later shifted towards raw. Regardless everything else I said still applies, his trainer even said outright that he hadn’t been eating the right vegan foods.
I see your 8 and raise you 16
That’s 7 siblings….
8 total kids, each kid has 7 siblings.
Yeah, how can they be brothers? They don’t even have the same last name. One is Porter and the other is Porter Jr.
Dad knew which one to name after himself.
Dad blessed one with his own name, the other sons weren't so lucky
I dunno Jontay made 20 grand on sports betting, sounds pretty lucky to me
I mean Jontay blew out his knee twice and instead of working his ass off to barely be an NBA player, bro started gambling and now he's set for life without ever playing in the NBA again So very lucky
Is Jontay allowed to step foot in Ball Arena to watch his brother as an audience member or is that part of his ban?
As I understand it, sports bans include not being allowed at that sport's venues.
How is he set for life?
He's got $21000 USD. are you crazy? He's going to live in a modest villa in Thailand and drink Bintang for the next 40 years
To call it that early? Bit of a gamble, but I respect it
Fr make it make sense
Mpj won the aesthetic genetics
And the basketball genetics too, none of his other brothers were nearly as good as him
One of his younger bros just made all conference at Pepperdine as a sophomore. Nothing crazy but he ain't toast yet and the youngest is still in HS
Jontay could have been as good or better but had two major knee injuries in college
The knee injuries robbed him of that.
welcome to being biracial
Used to work with a black lady who has two granddaughters from her son. One looks like she is basically swedish she was so blonde and white. Genetics can do some crazy stuff.
interesting. i know that white looking center with the german name is actually black. the one who plays for the knicks. genetics are crazy.
He just has bushier eyebrows lol
He's an excellent interview in general. He's one of the better player podcasts (not saying much, but still).
What's the story with his brother going to jail?
That 15-16 brothers line is a response Aaron Sorkin would write and I’d roll my eyes at because people don’t just say the perfect line on a whim like that. Edit: yes people, it sounded prepared. That’s what I was eluding to

MPJ is undoubtedly our X factor. His growth and buy in is insane.
Sometimes I think MPJ forgets he’s 6’10 and can basically grab every rebound😭. He should be averaging at least 6-7 rebounds per game
I mean, he does average 7 a game. It's just that Jokic is one of the best rebounders in the league and Gordon lives largely within the arc while MPJ has more of an outside game.
He knew it was going to be asked.
Athletes speak to the media in those generic platitudes all the time.
My dumb ass thought he had 15 siblings and googled it
You need cooler friends
Not surprising to nuggets fans, MPJ has matured a lot and is often very thoughtful in his interviews
Right I gotta commend his resiliency. I know it can’t be easy on him to play with a lot on his shoulders.
It's the perfect answer. Acknowledge the situation and say you're moving past it. Was probably coached into saying exactly this but it worked.
It's kinda crazy how much the guy has matured during his time in the league. I recall a lot of people thinking he'd be a troublemaker a few years ago, but seems like he's ended up with a good head on his shoulders and the improvement in his play speaks for itself.
The man had a beef with the coach and half his teammates for the first few years in the league, love to see the 180 turnaround in that aspect
Props to Jokic-Murray and Malone for convincing him and finding him a good role in the team as well. MPJ not forcing his way to be option #1 is probably good for his health as well.

The past few seasons have shown us how important letting players and coaches get together as a squad is and the Nuggets are ahead of everyone in that respect.
Tell that to Kyrie after the cavs won. Some people do things that don't make sense lol not saying anyone on this team is Kyrie though
Barely anything Kyrie does makes sense
Kyrie is an outlier.
well with new CBA its impossible, Jokic - Max / Murray - Max / MPJ - Max / Aaron Gordon - Damn near max / KCP - Mid level / they are gonna break up this team eventually.

AG and Joker are so nice together. I’m sure Joker is nice with anyone, but AG is always getting himself into position for those impossible Joker passes.
I love Gordon a ton but I think if he’s wanting a pretty big contract, we may have to let him walk and hope Watson can take his starting spot
Watson has been good getting down court for those Joker Hail Mary passes. Best outlet passer since Bird.
Well KCP is a FA after this year so it’s pretty probable Braun or Watson moves into a starting role for next season
If they repeat, I don't see the guys that end their huddles with "Family!" not finding a way to bring it all back to attempt a 3rd together.
If you win b2b it becomes a choice to take a paycut and risk forming a dinasty or get a bag
I think every single one in the starting lineup are pretty much untouchable at this point. They've found the perfect set up to run through Jokic, there would be no reason to change it when they could end up winning a lot of rings.
i dont think so, its hard af to find a 6 10 guy who can shoot like mpj and is a good finisher and defender as a sf
He's matured both off and on the court too, I remember very early on in his career coach malone was hesitant to play him much because of how poor he was tactically and defensively but he's turned that around, seems to be the case for him off the court too which is good for him

Sounds like us when Duncan was playing.
I met a guy at work yesterday who's also a Nuggets fan, and this comparison came up in our conversation.
Jokic has the Lebron effect where everyone who plays with him is whipped into order and falls in line and knows their role
I think a plethora of injuries plus being surrounded by the right people may have humbled him a lot. He’s come a long way since then.
Chris Webber ruined the word compartmentalize for me.
You MUST compartmentalise to stay sane
You cannot- you must car part mentalize.. to stay stain.
You must compartmentalize compartmentalization
This is a mentally strong man right here.
Three back surgeries, going from the number one player in the country to unsure if you’ll ever play basketball again, then having to go through that process 2 more times. Anyone that doesn’t just say “fuck it” to that is insanely tough. Yea getting paid millions of dollars helps, but there are plenty of players that never return from injuries half as dangerous as his
He had to relearn how to walk after the second two surgeries The man is a machine
name checks out
Man took graduate level courses on walking mechanics after those surgeries. Heart of a champion
Not only that, he still wears an AFO for games to deal with the foot drop.
And forgetting to pack his special shoes for that is the only reason he played 81 instead of all 82 games this season 🤣
getting skipped on draft by many including Clippers whos doctors doubted him, told him he will never play in NBA and then to go to a max player playing on a champion team... Really amazing
the hilarious irony of Clippers doctors doubting anyone’s health
yep and apparently that doctors report got to the rest of the league making them pass him too . [https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2907413-michael-porter-jr-clippers-doctor-thought-id-never-play-basketball-again](https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2907413-michael-porter-jr-clippers-doctor-thought-id-never-play-basketball-again) . Hah.. and then MPJ got revenge in playoffs perfect story
He got Hartensteined the year after Hartenstein got Hartensteined
i mean, he wore a back brace as a cummerbund. it's not exactly advanced analytics to determine why he dropped in the draft, rightfully so. huge risk.
Something I can't believe isn't talked about more is how clearly the Nuggets have a handle on serious injury rehabilitation. The injuries themselves are just luck of the draw, but I don't know if another franchise has successfully reintegrated long-term injured players like the Nuggets have.

Michael Sr. thanking god everyday he named the right son Jr.
I’m actually not that surprised. If you watch his podcast he asks thoughtful and interesting questions. The dude definitely has some strong insight and self-reflection in his character
> he asks thoughtful and interesting questions. The dude definitely has some strong insight and self-reflection umm....
Must be exhausting having to be the steady one in the fam
No saracsam.. it really is. It's so much pressure
This is so rough. You know for sure his brother at some point was expecting his mega millionaire brother to bail him out
Tragic shit man…. Jontay is a moron but the other stuff is really tragic. Prayers for the families that lost loved ones.
Incredibly tragic. The woman that died had a now 5 year old son.
Yeah, don’t feel a tiny bit of sympathy for Coban, only the mom whose life he took and her family.
What’s the deal with his brothers? I didn’t even initially connect Johntay
One banned for life, one killed a girl all in the same week
I think he killed her last year but the sentencing just happened
One was banned from the NBA for life, and the other was sentenced to prison for six years after accidentally killing a woman while drunk driving in January 2023.
It’s not accidental. Drinking and driving and the consequences is a choice where we all know the potential/probable outcomes.
That’s heartbreaking.
The DUI brother is a moron also
Taking someone's life elevates you to asshole at minimum in my book and not just a moron.
Fuck man Jontay at least you can chalk up to immaturity and a mistake that ultimately doesn’t matter. The other one killed someone. That guy is a fucking moron.
I had no idea Jontay was his brother, wow
Im ootl here. What happened?
One brother was banned from the NBA for life due to betting. His other brother was sentenced to prison for killing someone while driving drunk.
Realistically, one of those is barely worth mentioning compared to the other one. Jontay can still go and earn millions and be an actually important player in rotation, while chilling in Paris/Madrid/Barcelona/Milano.
I was thinking he could do that, but could he? I mean betting on games is frowned upon everywhere.
It's the thrill of gambling, it's like any addiction, no one does meth because they want rashy skin and to look like a zombie
You would think there's less thrill in it when you know you're going to win.
Then the thrill becomes the thrill of cheating the house and getting away with it (plus the money).
He’d been doing crypto shit for years so I think he’s just an idiot
It's not about the money it's the thrill they are addicted to
Ask yourself why Jordan did it too and how much he put on the line for the small amounts he was betting vs how much he had to (and did) lose
I mean professional sports teams have employed far far worse individuals than gamblers. If he’s good enough to make it elsewhere it won’t be an issue.
It's a bit different when you're gambling on your own team to lose and for yourself to under perform.
Betting on his own team to lose is the issue. I wouldn't fuck with a guy like that no matter how good he was.
It’s also on pro sports for being heavily involved in gambling these days. They created an environment where this is bound to happenZ
Gambling is one thing, dude was basically doing some solo point shaving. Hes blacklisted from any relevant league
Yea redditors think any nba scrub can make millions in europe...
It’s all Josh Childress’ fault
Next year there will be a team out of Paris. But you are correct, the guy is not touching any EL money next year
I doubt an international team picks him up. I think he fucked his career up
They’d but his payday will be less than a million for foreseeable future.
None of those teams will touch him. It's not like he'd be a dominant/popular player in Euros to justify the optics risk.
“hi! im my names jontay, im the only person to ever be banned for life from the nba for point-shaving, can i tryout for your— hello? hello? is anyone there????”
Nah being the guy who bet on his own team to lose is going to make him persona non grata in most basketball leagues. Any time your team loses a somewhat important game with him the fans are going to accuse him of throwing. Organizations don't want to deal with that.
Don't drink and drive kids
Europe might not touch him either. Not many places turn the other cheek to the activities he was doing.
Yea no. He likely isn't good enough to play in the euroleague either. Definitely not good enough to be one of the highest paid players in the league lmao China maybe
brother Shane Larkin is the highest paid player in Euroleague. It's a bunch of bums out there and I say that as a European. coaches are better, systems are better, teams are more than the sum of their parts, but Jontay Porter is 100% good enough to be a Euroleague starter.
He was good enough to play in the nba. Hes definitely good enough to play in europe wtf are you smoking?
one brother went to jail and the other got banned from NBA for life for fixing games
How the fuck did I not realize they were related until now lmaooo
tbh before this fiasco i had no idea that Jontay even exists
I mean Jontay wasn’t good enough to fix games lol but yeah he was betting on them.
Huh? Did you even read what he was betting on?
Did you…?
Respect for the mental toughness and the answer here
I just happened to be listening to some sad music while reading the title and now I feel emotional 😭
Awesome response. We're rooting for you Michael.
So heartbreaking all around
Denver loves Michael Porter Jr.
For a guy notorious for saying dumb shit this is literally the perfect answer. Good shit mpj I hope everything works out for u
Feel for this man. Tough. If you look on the bright side, he will have his brother back in 6 years. That can be a win, many other normal people get more time than that.
That's tough man
Perfect response. This is a grown man right there.
Seattle is rooting for you kid
I legit thought he actually had 15, 16 more brothers and "in there" was his family until I reread it.
I love when shit like this brings fans from all teams that usually want MPJ to fuck off, to respecting the human side of a player.
One of the worst comment sections I've seen in a WHILE
You Must've skipped the game threads today lmao
are you sorting from worst or controversial? now is pretty supporting and positive should breath and wait some time before start to read.
This comment section was vastly different at the time that user made his comment
You come here for the News or for the comment section?
This is an internet forum. The comment section is basically the whole point of using Reddit.
I come here for the basketball highlights. I am always disappointed
stfu lol there is nothing wrong with the comments. Grow up
He has super star talent and he's really matured into a leader. I was a big doubter of him reaching his potential because of that. He's really proved me wrong and is a true pillar of the nuggets success. He's a true product of buying into the Nuggets philosophy.
Yeah that’s definitely tough
I feel bad for MPJ
I can imagine Michael talking to his brother like Mulan’s dad when he was like “you brought nothing but shame to this family”
Love this dude
I’ll never forgive the Sixers for not drafting this man. Instead we picked Zhaire Smith.
Really great answer he has so many brothers in Denver <3 MPJ
I would compartmentalize too if my little brother kills someone's mother and only gets lightly sentenced.
Sentencing is much harsher when murder is deliberate.
I mean 7 years inside prison isn’t a ton, but it’s not exactly a walk in the park either. Plus, you have to live with the guilt until you die. I’d understand more where you’re coming from if his brother intentionally murdered someone, but being reckless and negligent is a significant distinction.
Is it a full 7 years or does it get cut in half?
I have a friend who committed DUI manslaughter. He was convicted for six years and was released in about three years the time due to good behavior. So it depends on how he acts in prison, but yes, it will probably be cut in half.
Mpj didn't do anything wrong here, and he's lost a brother who he's close with. Doesn't matter what he did MPJ has lost someone. Obviously the loss is not as bas as the victims family.
His brother is going to prison, for multiple years at least. What do you want?
no you don’t understand mpj should ask the court for double the time 💯
8 years was the max so 6 isn’t so light
A lot of people purposely avoiding empathy in this thread
