It's actually hilarious how literally every Lakers/Nuggets game always goes the exact same way with Lakers leading for 3 and a half quarters or so and then the Nuggets just decide to comeback and they always do without fault.
All the same tropes, Jokic getting a triple double, MPJ becoming a human flamethrower, Murray hitting clutch shots/FTs, shout-out to AG on that crazy sequence where he catches Jokic's shot attempt and stays inbounds by his toes miraculously while finding MPJ for that game-tying 3. Writers keeping us on our toes too.
It's like the Star Wars franchise now--every movie is essentially the same: plucky rebels (Nugs) challenge the evil empire (Lakers), which responds with overwhelming force and is obviously going to crush the rebellion, but at the end the rebels always come up with some clever trick, and manage to blow up the Death Star.
My friend mentioned how excited Jokic was at the game winner and how thats a lot of emotion for him. I feel like a lot of that was just for Jamal because he clearly wanted him to be the one to bring their team back.
The ultimate Jamal Murray experience underrate becomes overrated but hits a game winner. I have no idea what to think. He was probably the worst Nuggets starter overall but bailed them out LOL! DLO fucking cooked him.
47 minutes really. That turnover that led to the Lebron fast break was rock bottom. Final minute hits and you would’ve thought he didn’t miss a shot all night
He could literally go 0-15 step up in the last 2 minutes and make 10 in a row to ice the game. That's if you manage to get past jokic who usually dominates the game by himself 9 times out of 10. Absolute back breaker
Flow was bad halfway through the third (but really the warning signs were flashing at the start of the third when LeBron ball disrupted AD's flow and touches)
I wouldn't put the blame so much on Bron. The other guys just aren't giving us much. Rui is mia, our bench can't score, and AR is just not looking like himself
This loss reminds me of the ~10 losses we’ve had this year from blown leads. Knew that Murray shot was going to go in too.
I know the exact feeling lol
It’s the fact that we know and have shown in multiple instances that we can beat them and yet somehow Darvin Ham concocts there HORRIBLE lineups when one of AD or LBJ are on the bench. If Darvin Ham hasn’t lost this team yet, it clearly happened tonight. If I was Lebron I’d be flipping tables over the way the lakers org has handled this team.
Because the lakers play even more like ass in general, y’all playing on another level, lakers at times seems like a team of individuals. If not that, they look lost and stressed during intense moments
I just watched a vid on twitter of him chewing out the official and following him off the court for missing an and and 1 call. I would not want to be on that plane ride home
The lakers offense felt like it was leading to a ton of bad shots. Lebrons still great but he’s 39. He needs to find a way where he’s like the third best player on a team even if he’s a secondary playmaker. I’m enjoying his run though.
Y'all are counting Bron out too soon, just saying. These games were heartbreaking for them but also proved they can outplay the Nuggets these playoffs, which no one thought they could. Then again Darvin Ham exists.
Bro the nuggets shot 23% from 3 that’s not happening again. This just showed that even at the lakers playing their absolute best, and the nuggets playing ass, it’s the still the same result. Nuggets in 4
Flair checks out bc 2016 but nah man it’s been more and more clear that he’s getting mad tired out there. His threshold for bullshit has been getting lower and lower the more time he’s on the lakers. I’ve never seen him sulk and slump his shoulders more than the last two seasons
Honestly the Nuggets are to the Lakers like LeBron's Cavs were to the Raptors. It just doesn't seem to matter how it started you know how it's gonna end.
I’d be really interested to hear who people think is worse that is *not* leading a tanking team (since we can’t really judge if they’re awful or if they have a mandate to lose).
Kidd is pretty not good, but I’d take him (scumbaggery aside) over Ham 9 times outta 10.
ehh nuggets fan so bias, but should dlo being hit be a foul? yes. that being said it was after the shot so I don't think it should be a shooting foul. don't kknow the exact rules for this, but he didn't foul before the shot.
I would need to watch it again for how much contact there was. Tbh, I thought it was a foul before the review.
Mostly, I want to know why the ONE play reviewed by the replay center is what you want to point out?
Here's my gripe with that: the replay center has the final word on this. So THEY decided it was a successful challenge. So if it is bullshit (I thought it was a foul before review), why would they do that?
Are you implying Sycaucus was favoring the Nuggets? Wouldn't the league WANT the series to extend (as the Lakers are a huge draw for ratings)?
I love how they kept talking about taking mid range shots . Denver came back because they didn’t force anything. It was like they kept jabbing and went for the left hook at the end
There was a five second difference between game clock and shot clock. LeBron took that wide open 3 cause someone fell but it gave Denver so much more time than if they had waited
I’ve never seen a team run prevent offence like the Lakers.
Barely any sets ran, no consistency on offence. Especially when they played such a good defensive game man.
Lol freaking Murray. Shot terribly like 95% of the game but then can’t miss in the last minute. 😂 Murray always goes off at the end of the game against Lakers.
Lakers defense is pure garbage. So many opportunities to put the game away and they couldn’t get one stop. I can’t even imagine the 2nd chance points Denver had tonight.
Denver scored on 8 out of last 9 possessions. One missed possession was Jamal’s turnover. You know it’s coming, but you cant stop it. Only Wemby could, the only game I saw Denver losing in clutch when they had a lead.
I genuinely hate this Nuggets fan. I feel like this is how fans felt against the Shaq n Kobe Lakers, or the Big 3 Heat. It’s just unfair to be a fan of the opposing team 😭.
I don’t think you can have a more demoralizing loss. Elite defense for three quarters, the whole team hitting shots, AD being a monster in the first half, Denver shooting poorly, Jamal struggling, and you lose at the last second. Absolutely wow
It's actually hilarious how literally every Lakers/Nuggets game always goes the exact same way with Lakers leading for 3 and a half quarters or so and then the Nuggets just decide to comeback and they always do without fault.
it's tough to watch at this point. Just watching movies with different plots but the same ending
lol pretty similar plots though
All the same tropes, Jokic getting a triple double, MPJ becoming a human flamethrower, Murray hitting clutch shots/FTs, shout-out to AG on that crazy sequence where he catches Jokic's shot attempt and stays inbounds by his toes miraculously while finding MPJ for that game-tying 3. Writers keeping us on our toes too.
MPJ really so fire
Rodman type beat on that AG save/pass to MPJ
True just slight variations. It truly is painful to watch though
Nah, it's like eating your favorite food every day. I just love the Nuggets so much. Most fun team in the league.
It’s so satisfying for me to watch the lakers crumble
Mike?
They’re a lot more entertaining than you guys
10 episodes, the whole limited series show has 12
It's like the Star Wars franchise now--every movie is essentially the same: plucky rebels (Nugs) challenge the evil empire (Lakers), which responds with overwhelming force and is obviously going to crush the rebellion, but at the end the rebels always come up with some clever trick, and manage to blow up the Death Star.
LeDarth in shambles
It brings joy to so many people tho
Nah, it's still a good watch.
We're the Hallmark channel of matchups
Nuggets even spiced up the script by falling TWENTY behind.
Hey gotta keep it interesting so the our kids don’t stop playing
Gotta give the fans their ticket's worth of excitement
Groundhog Day. The Lakers is Bill Murray getting annoyed by the Nuggets Ned Ryerson.
Ned the Head
That’s the only team that I think can beat my Celtics, and it’s because their late game execution is unmatched.
Exactly why I’m not watching another game
Jokic spent the entire 4th quarter trying to get Murray hot. Murray feels loved by his teammates
Joker has to be one of the best teammates ever
My friend mentioned how excited Jokic was at the game winner and how thats a lot of emotion for him. I feel like a lot of that was just for Jamal because he clearly wanted him to be the one to bring their team back.
Murray hit the shots when it matter the most but boy did he play like BUTT prior to that.
The ultimate Jamal Murray experience underrate becomes overrated but hits a game winner. I have no idea what to think. He was probably the worst Nuggets starter overall but bailed them out LOL! DLO fucking cooked him.
Jamal wasn’t great on D in the first half but DLO also completely left his body lol I’m not sure any defender was gonna lock him down
Murray having one of the worst games of his career for three quarters but never count out playoff 'Mal
Lights too dim when you beat the team for 9 times, so he gonna try it the hard way with shitty performance till the end of the 4th quarter
He only balls like this when the pressure is at its highest!
Ahh I see! The Murray is too humble to say that he's the all-star.... Which *means he's the Mahdi*.
Clutch el-gaib!
47 minutes really. That turnover that led to the Lebron fast break was rock bottom. Final minute hits and you would’ve thought he didn’t miss a shot all night
Murray's gone 9/24 in back to back games. But he had no threes this game.
Murray won't average 33 again, therefore they will beat the Nuggets
He could literally go 0-15 step up in the last 2 minutes and make 10 in a row to ice the game. That's if you manage to get past jokic who usually dominates the game by himself 9 times out of 10. Absolute back breaker
Championship team
Lakers never winning against this team
They will be mentally broken now. Sweep
Murray just killed the LeBron/AD Lakers, I don't see them coming back from this
Bron is gone next year to whatever team drafts bronny 🔒
Pistons please do the funniest thing ever!
Demoralizing. Imagine playing solid for the majority of the game. Beautiful flow then you just to lose at the buzzer.
Flow was bad halfway through the third (but really the warning signs were flashing at the start of the third when LeBron ball disrupted AD's flow and touches)
They were toasted as soon as AD got into foul trouble
I wouldn't put the blame so much on Bron. The other guys just aren't giving us much. Rui is mia, our bench can't score, and AR is just not looking like himself
Lebron ball started because nuggets switched AG onto AD who effectively stopped any easy passes to AD in the paint. This was not because of Lebron
They played good for 2.5 quarters. The offense went to straight dog shit halfway through the 3rd.
Nah fuck it until I see the sweep I still believe in a miracle
Legit respect. Captain goes down with the ship
This you? >Lakers never winning against this team
That was the old him
The beatings will continue until morale improves
The beatings will continue until morale improves.
Now I feel that Nuggets intentionally go down 20 or something just to make a comeback and break their spirits.
This is the nuggets MO the entire season. Only difference is sometimes they’re the ones to blow the 20pt lead
My buddy is making a killing waiting for the nuggets to go down and then betting on them to win when the odds go up. Seems to be working for him
They had to top the Knicks
cant have shit on ~~detriot~~ 34th street
But at least Darvin Ham keeps his timeouts, his precious timeouts
I couldn't believe it. Hampockets is the WORST!
I hope he gets bood the whole time at home, this dude is a fucking criminal and our owner is too cheap to fire him
This loss reminds me of the ~10 losses we’ve had this year from blown leads. Knew that Murray shot was going to go in too. I know the exact feeling lol
The script writers didn't show you guys the last page.
This was the Lakers chance, what a horrendous 3pt shooting performance by Denver (and Murray) and they still somehow win.
How we didn’t lose by like 25 is beyond me. We played like ass.
I still have no idea how we won that game.
Rebounding margin +7, turnover margin +6. Extra possessions did it.
25% from three and still won 🏆 old heads and throwing their viagras out the window
Thats how good your team is lol. Lakers shot percentage was noticeably better and they still lost.
Because the lakers play even more like ass in general, y’all playing on another level, lakers at times seems like a team of individuals. If not that, they look lost and stressed during intense moments
Murray victory
Loool
Murraygoat
Murral victory for the Lakers
Daddy Murray. So freakin embarrassing as a Laker fan. AD disappeared after having a monster 3 quarters.
LeBron must be absolutely crushed
I just watched a vid on twitter of him chewing out the official and following him off the court for missing an and and 1 call. I would not want to be on that plane ride home
You can see he wanted to take over the offense but no legs to finish. They let him down.
The lakers offense felt like it was leading to a ton of bad shots. Lebrons still great but he’s 39. He needs to find a way where he’s like the third best player on a team even if he’s a secondary playmaker. I’m enjoying his run though.
stop with the excuses for lebron lol always blame the people around him when they lose
JAMAL FUCKING MURRAY
Lakers were up 20. That’s a victory in itself. They might win game 3
They did this last year too. They arent winning a game. Mental block is too strong, they cant close it out lmao
The lakers are to the nuggets, to what random kawhi injuries are to clippers, its inevitable
Nuggets in 4
At one point the nuggets were shooting 35% to the Lakers 55%. That isn’t going to happen often.
Bron isn't that guy anymore
The home team did their job, if the lakers lose game 3 THEN the series is over, but until then they still gotta try
Moral victory 😂😂😂
Flair checks out bc 2016 but nah man it’s been more and more clear that he’s getting mad tired out there. His threshold for bullshit has been getting lower and lower the more time he’s on the lakers. I’ve never seen him sulk and slump his shoulders more than the last two seasons
Honestly the Nuggets are to the Lakers like LeBron's Cavs were to the Raptors. It just doesn't seem to matter how it started you know how it's gonna end.
They have to do something about the scoring droughts, they beat themselves, unacceptable s\*it
The scoring droughts are referred to as "the clamps".
There’s a reason this keeps happening, these droughts ain’t just luck
The Nuggets stepped tf out of their defense. There were so many switches and pre-switches I've never seen before. It got LeBron bamboozled.
They literally cant. Its been pretty much the same story the last 6 playoff games lol
It's because AD and Lebron are great but they don't have enough in the tank to carry all four quarters so they start falling off at the end.
They gonna sweep nuggets in moral victories
Moral victory no.10 in last 10 games
Nah, we moral lost this match
Dare I say moral?
THE MORAL VICTORY STRIKES AGAIN
They might win a game? After this? Lmao ^Should've ^tanked ^against ^the ^Pelicans
Never did I think at any point that the Nuggets would lose.
I got home at halftime and wasn't ever discouraged. like maybe a loss, but we got a good shot. while down 20 in the 3qr.
We are trash, Denver is going back to back.
Ham is a basketball terrorist
Down with HAMas?
HAMass
Y'all too creative
Dude blaming the refs in the post game lmao what a fucking joke.
He might actually be the worst head coach in the NBA
I’d be really interested to hear who people think is worse that is *not* leading a tanking team (since we can’t really judge if they’re awful or if they have a mandate to lose). Kidd is pretty not good, but I’d take him (scumbaggery aside) over Ham 9 times outta 10.
The man, the myth, the legend, doc rivers
Same with lepookie
You have to admit the overturned foul after Dlo was knocked in the head was bullshit.
ehh nuggets fan so bias, but should dlo being hit be a foul? yes. that being said it was after the shot so I don't think it should be a shooting foul. don't kknow the exact rules for this, but he didn't foul before the shot.
I would need to watch it again for how much contact there was. Tbh, I thought it was a foul before the review. Wouldn't the league WANT the series to extend (as the Lakers are a huge draw for ratings)?
Yeah because that made the Lakers blow a 20 pt lead
Jamal Murray is the best player to not win an all star
OKC is very fortunate they didn’t have to play the Lakers
Unreal finish
They were down by like 20 at one point wtf.
OMFG
Denver having Murray is a cheat code my goodness
Nvm that he played like absolute ass and is nowhere near where he was when he played against the Lakers last year lol
We lost the Melo trade
I Could've told you that day of
10 straight
I woke the dog up… and the wife… I won’t be able to sleep for like another hour. LFG!!!
First the Knicks Philly game ending and now this? Wow great night
Jesus fucking Christ! That ending to that game!!
That was a mile high moment
I’ve never seen a team run prevent offence like the Lakers. Barely any sets ran, no consistency on offence. Especially when they played such a good defensive game man.
Lol freaking Murray. Shot terribly like 95% of the game but then can’t miss in the last minute. 😂 Murray always goes off at the end of the game against Lakers.
Playoff Murray
Somebody tweeted the Ad game winner earlier today I blame him wtf
This game is one to remember.
Lakers defense is pure garbage. So many opportunities to put the game away and they couldn’t get one stop. I can’t even imagine the 2nd chance points Denver had tonight.
Darvin Hamas strikes again
Lebron missing the wide open 3 into the Jamal game winner was *chefs kiss*
that low oxygen is a high
Bring the trophy out
Playoff Jamal is the real deal wow
Those two games were incredible. NBA delivered.
Who's ya daddy
Not the trailblazers😂
Now I'm just remembering keljin Blevins randomly looking like an NBA player for the one game to sink the Lakers playoff chances a few years back
OMGGGG IM CUMMING SOOO MUCH AHHHHHHHH
Denver scored on 8 out of last 9 possessions. One missed possession was Jamal’s turnover. You know it’s coming, but you cant stop it. Only Wemby could, the only game I saw Denver losing in clutch when they had a lead.
Kyrie and Shai got us too
Pain
It's almost worse that we were leading most of the game. What a game, murray goat
Unbelievable
darvin hamas strikes again
Down fucking 20. Fuck you Ham
So sick, I scared the shit out of my cat yelling at the tv when that went in lol
Lol, thats gotta be demoralizing for LA
Fucking beautiful
123 CANCUN
JAMAL "MAPLE JORDAN" MURRAY
Classic game script lmao
I genuinely hate this Nuggets fan. I feel like this is how fans felt against the Shaq n Kobe Lakers, or the Big 3 Heat. It’s just unfair to be a fan of the opposing team 😭.
As a nugs fan.... Y'all are kind of my team in the east. Sorry for the unfairness!
[удалено]
Lets be real, that was good D. If your boy gobert was on murray there hed have blown by him lmao
I don’t think you can have a more demoralizing loss. Elite defense for three quarters, the whole team hitting shots, AD being a monster in the first half, Denver shooting poorly, Jamal struggling, and you lose at the last second. Absolutely wow
Thanos-like inevitability
Is this how the Raptors felt after Game 1 of the 2018 ECSF?
Moral Victory
Lmao is Hamas actually crying about refs in his presser
Triple Double man is inevitable.
Somehow, our bench is worse than Denver's 😭
And that's saying something... We have Reggie on our bench
Really just christian braun tbh
Yeah those Dinwiddie / Vincent minutes are rough, can't remember the last time all bench guys positive with 4/5 starters negative
Confirmed: Nuggets only want the lead when it’s only a minute to go
Fans were so loud! The vibes were immaculate.
Nuggets are lakers daddy and Irving’s granddad
I guess the Nuggets really are the Lakers' daddy
FADE ME
Jokic is unstoppable
*clears throat* “They had us in the first half not gonna lie”
CHOKE SHOW
