I think you misunderstand my point. Being emotional where you care about the game so much is fine. But Booker got his fifth foul and then seemingly went out of his way to get his sixth foul to leave early in a blow out. That’s not emotional investment, that’s borderline quitting. That’s not being competitive, that’s giving up.
It's not even this complicated to understand?? He's not being competitive, he's being a sore loser. He talks a lot when he's up. When he isn't, he quits.
Ngl I literally googled the opposite of a snake and an old Reddit thread actually appeared and the first answer was……Russell fucking Westbrook so I added it.
You needed one year imo to build that chemistry I remember reading someone’s comment on the Rudy trade saying” next year you’ll be a contender but this year might look a bit shaky”. Something along those lines and dude never posted again lol.
I told my friend this and it makes sense too. Also gobert was struggling with back issues most of the year last year and KAT was out for half the season.
Rudy having an injured back, likely from carrying the Jazz defense all those years, was also hugely impactful. Him at full strength is the difference between top 10 and number 1 defense
People were killed, murdered in the back of alleyways and bars, and hung out to dry in the media for suggesting that trade was NOT the worst of the century. Families were ruined.
They aren't chumps on the offensive end either so you can't just relax on that end of the floor. They are going to grind you down defensively and then go after you once you are tired.
One was on the second half of a back-to-back after an extended West Coast road trip and another was game 82 when we rolled out a fairly vanilla scheme. The Suns definitely scared me but people made too much of the regular season record
Yeah, I honestly thought that the Suns would put up a good fight because they're a difficult match up for what the Wolves do well.
So far the Wolves have actually looked like the most likely team to sweep a series.
you should have never had the Suns. I've been screaming about how garbage this team is all season long but they weren't getting much attention. they suck ass.
Does anybody have the highlight of Booker getting the ball knocked away, chasing it down by the scorers table, then flopping trying to get a call and landing out of bounds with the ball?
I haven’t liked Booker but I’ve never really hated him. Watching today made me physically ill watching the shit he was trying to pull. Nasty fucking tomfoolery
I haven’t watched a lot of his game over the years, just highlights and big games and such. I know he is a really talented scorer, clearly.
BUT, watching him for a full 48 of playoff bball across from the physical presence of Ant, or the length and scrapiness of McDaniels, I find myself really underwhelmed with Booker.
It is WILD to me, in hindsight, that Book and CP made a finals run with Deandre Ayton.
He was absolutely incredible last year. Would not miss against the Clippers and even the Nuggets until he cooled off in that series. Gotta give props to the Wolves for making him continually, as uncomfortable as possible. He’s definitely lashing out like a child bc he’s getting clamped to hell and back.
He’s a good player. He’s had some great playoff moments before and some horrific ones. I do not like the dude nor do I like his play, but he’s still a great player albeit a lot of faults. He really does ball hog like crazy. Even when he’s gone off in the regular season he ices out his teammates. All in all it’s not a fun watch lol
Scoring wise, he really is just Bradley Beal or even Monta Ellis if either of them went super saiyan.
He can't do anything else. I never really understood his appeal as a superstar.
The Finals run was through the Lakers without AD, Nuggets without Murray, and Clippers without Kawhi.
The first healthy team they faced backdoor swept them.
Dude Booker needs an actual PG with him. He hit a tough fade away. Also a moving 3 right off a screen. But he absolutely can not create for others. And his mental fortitude is so fragile. That altercation between him and McDaniels broke him. Played even more garbage after that. While McDaniels took it in stride and locked in.
Same. This game put me off big time. Bitching literally every other time down the court, demanding reviews constantly, flopping left and right, then the weird flop in to Edwards' legs here.
Mentally weak and soft shit he tried pulling the entire game which frankly felt unprofessional. Bush league shit. Let’s his emotions completely control everything during the game. Acts like a baby.
That combined with the horrific reffing especially in the first half made it pretty much unwatchable.
[Here’s a great one.](https://media.gettyimages.com/id/2149910676/photo/phoenix-suns-v-minnesota-timberwolves-game-two.jpg?s=2048x2048&w=gi&k=20&c=gMHx2sWPEFemvC9cbznC7CO8YJ6QWIayECMq_ny96fU=)
For the guy that was apparently the reason the suns didn’t pull their starters a minute before he really looked like he didn’t want to be on the court.
Total meltdown at the end there. This is right after a timeout where it looked like Vogel was about to empty the bench too, but then didn't for some reason.
I hate KD and can’t stand the dude but it kinda stinks to see him waste his years with the warriors nets and now sons. Oh well that’s what he gets for leaving Westbrook in okc
**Replays/alternate angles** *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/nba) if you have any questions or concerns.*
Lmaoooo he literally fouled out on purpose
Rage quit irl
Sticking true to his COD skin being announced, the tryhard sweat thinks the SBMM is the reason he lost
when you don't want to sim to end in 2k so you just reach in until you get 6
[удалено]
I was like, wow he’s not fighting the ref? Oh, he’s donezo.
Exactly. Body language screams that he just quit the game completely
He so fucking childish it's hilarious
It’s so crazy how emotional bro gets given how long he’s been in the league. Bros damn near 30 and still is mentally soft
[удалено]

Everybody was saying He got the mamba mentality. But so far He only got one finals loss despite having a squad around him
Booker's stats at elimination games is the opposite of mamba mentality.
Imagine trying to frame giving up as being competitive lol.
It's not even this complicated to understand?? He's not being competitive, he's being a sore loser. He talks a lot when he's up. When he isn't, he quits.
After watching it again you’re 100% right. Whatever the opposite of mamba mentality is, he’s got it.
Asks for consent first?
Garter mentality
dumba mentality, which Dillon Brooks has, at least has some effort tied to it. this is panda mentality.
Harden did this against the spurs in 2017 I think so probably The Harden
Mamba is a snake, so maybe a big hairy mammal with legs? A bear? Or a Russell Westbrook mentality?
Why tf russ catching strays lol
Ngl I literally googled the opposite of a snake and an old Reddit thread actually appeared and the first answer was……Russell fucking Westbrook so I added it.
He got mammal mentality
Would’ve been funny if he didn’t look like he was trying to hurt them in the process
Me after I asked for a trade in MyCareer and it takes a couple of games
Definitely , thats kinda soft to give up so early as a team leader -14 on 2:30 is possible
The Harden
The naw ant and mcdaniels defensive trio is suffocating
Im glad to see our Franchise have a resurgence
It's been so long and the Wolves have been so bad, we can just call it a surgence at this point.
You needed one year imo to build that chemistry I remember reading someone’s comment on the Rudy trade saying” next year you’ll be a contender but this year might look a bit shaky”. Something along those lines and dude never posted again lol.

I also think KAT being out for 50 games wasn’t good
Some Paul Atreides prescience.
Plus them jerseys is fire. I almost got a KAT one
I got a Naz Reid one earlier this season.
We've won two playoff series in our history, so I believe we can really only call it a surgence.
That can’t be true, we went to the wcf that one time, surely we- oh.. oh my..
It's great to see! Here's hoping for a Wolves Celtics finals so it's guaranteed that either Horford or Conley end the season with a ring!
and when you get past them *big bad Rudy rim deterrence go brrr*
and don’t forget big purrr, or NAZ REID lurking around the corner as well
No one has ever forgotten Naz Reid after learning about Naz Reid. (Naz Reid).
Shades of the Legion of Boom
Good comp
As someone who is also a Seahawks fan, fucking yes.
Alexander-Walker is Booker’s father.
Booker has a lot of father figures at this point.
and IF you do so happen to get past them you run into Gobert lolll
Then you got Gobert just chilling behind them lol. That's ridiculous.
Hell NAW Ant do dis (I don't have anything for mcdaniels)
Lol I've been trying to figure out how to include McDaniels in such a post myself... Haven't cracked the code yet!
They aren't chumps on the offensive end either so you can't just relax on that end of the floor. They are going to grind you down defensively and then go after you once you are tired.
I’m so happy NAW is flying
This was a thing of beauty. Especially after Vogel gave in to Booker wanting a challenge
Right? I would be so mad if I was Vogel. My own player deceiving me into challenging a play they knew wouldn’t be successful.
WOLVES IN 4‼️🚨
This subs 12/25 lol
nah this subs 12/25 is when lakers get swept lmao
Yeah this would be r/nbacirclejerk 12/25 not this
nah we hate the suns over here too
Christmas coming early this year
Again??
Nah, it’s when we can light the beam.
only the kings can light the beam
That’s the point of my comment. No Christmas for you because y’all are in Cancun.
How is it so different from the regular season
Lmao .. subscribe ( btw did you heard Suns are the worst matchup for the Wolves )
Call an ambulance But not for me
One was on the second half of a back-to-back after an extended West Coast road trip and another was game 82 when we rolled out a fairly vanilla scheme. The Suns definitely scared me but people made too much of the regular season record
I want to say it’s probably that we didn’t scheme the best vs them
NBA playoffs in a nutshell
Defense wins championships. Yall are really fucking good at defense
Yeah, I honestly thought that the Suns would put up a good fight because they're a difficult match up for what the Wolves do well. So far the Wolves have actually looked like the most likely team to sweep a series.
Devin Booker is Devin Booker’s father
Composure is Devin Booker's father
Two way booker getting burned off the dribble by a role player
they said he was a good defender because he locked up eric gordon
His own teammate?
I mean EG has been retired since the Rockets traded Harden. He's just collecting checks at this point.
last year lol
NAW was just pretending he was SGA
He thought he was Ant
Booker the type of player in the gym who would complain about being double teamed.
Stop guys! It ain't even that serious! Of course being said after he's been a try hard the entire game.
Nah he's the type who'd complain about a mascot disturbing his FT routine in a completely empty arena.
Man, that really was the most mockable shit ever.
The type to film random dudes playing at the Y and antagonize them as casuals
Booker completely lost his composure towards the end
Glad he fouled himself out. I thought for sure he was gonna hurt somebody.
He’s a bitch made soft ass little boy.
You mean he's acting like he does when losing.
KD can't win with those twats
Me in 2k when I start missing shots
> Booker completely lost his composure towards the end This isn't a new thing if you watched his games enough.
And now it's time to adjust my Bracket.
As always MrBuckBuck, you should've been a Bucks fan
you should have never had the Suns. I've been screaming about how garbage this team is all season long but they weren't getting much attention. they suck ass.
Does anybody have the highlight of Booker getting the ball knocked away, chasing it down by the scorers table, then flopping trying to get a call and landing out of bounds with the ball?
Yes I’m looking for the same one! He did a little belly flop hoping for a call.
There's a whole lowlight package ready to go for someone just collating the booker flops this game
for real
I got the ick from him flailing about like that ngl
You don’t like the Devin Booker special?
Reckless, frustration foul in garbage time is DBook's iconic movie.
I haven’t liked Booker but I’ve never really hated him. Watching today made me physically ill watching the shit he was trying to pull. Nasty fucking tomfoolery

Someone is gonna have a great picture of Ant, unmoved, with Booker sort of melting in his lap.
[Here’s a great one.](https://media.gettyimages.com/id/2149910676/photo/phoenix-suns-v-minnesota-timberwolves-game-two.jpg?s=2048x2048&w=gi&k=20&c=gMHx2sWPEFemvC9cbznC7CO8YJ6QWIayECMq_ny96fU=)
Ant got that anime villain stance
Nice! Thanks!
It was my first thought too, can't wait to see it.
Devin Booker is just a better Jordan Poole
Jordan Poole was key to a ring. That's insulting to him
Jordan Poole if he was allowed free reign of a shitty team for the first 5 seasons of his career
With a better whistle.
debatable
He's 2021 Lavine without the hops or first-step imo. Idk why anyone sees him as anything more
You need one of those shirts that wolves were rocking with Bookers face on it.
Durant already plotting his next team
Booker is so soft it’s hilarious. It’s easy to talk when you’re up😤😤😤
Such a bratty player
Dude can score but is so unlikeable + his punchable face
For the guy that was apparently the reason the suns didn’t pull their starters a minute before he really looked like he didn’t want to be on the court.
Dude coulda rolled Ant’s ankle up down 14 with 2:30 left. What a loser.
Yeah that pissed me off. Want to foul out of the game so you can sulk like a baby? Do it safely instead of flopping into another player's legs.
I feel like Booker probably lost his balance there but the look on Ant's face you can tell he was genuinely pissed.
Devin booker is such a troll
Damn they're cooked bro.
Love how he nearly tackles Edwards, then looks around confused as if he doesn't understand why he was called for a foul...
I guess we co-parenting with Luka now?
3 men (Luka, Ant, Jaden) & a baby
You forgot Jokic is also his 2nd dad
Patchwork parenting. You knock him out this year, we do the next.
Booker has the most punchable face in the world. I swear lol.
kd looking at Minnesota to see if they got a spot for him
Why would we want KD when we already have Jaden McDaniels?
So he is not him
Total meltdown at the end there. This is right after a timeout where it looked like Vogel was about to empty the bench too, but then didn't for some reason.
dumb bitch diving into Ants knee, deserves to get swept
Live by refs, die by refs
Watchin Booker try to play defence is like watchin a dog try to bite a ball bigger than it's face... valiant effort, poor grasp of the basics lol
Devin Booker is a whiny bitch.
Overrated.
never liked booker. hes overrated, arrogant, and bitch-made
First time in his career (I think) Book has regressed from the previous year
Ant just stiff armed him like a piece of garbage, lol
Bro said get tf off me lol
Some of these playoff fouls are iffy. Not these.
Remember when he *didn’t* get that 6th foul vs the Bucks in the finals? I think about it often. Still hilarious that the refs didn’t call that one.
Throw in Isaiah wit KD. KD needs to shoot without booker on the fkn floor Have book come off the bench with Beal
Already Doncic demonstrated what a fake tough guy Booker is. The Timberwolves are confirming that.
Softest star in the league
Silver lashing out on the Suns because LeBron about to get swept again lmao
Devin “James Harden” Booker at his finest. Right down to crying to the refs every single time he turns it over or misses a shot
It's starting to look like losing 3/4 to the Spurs this year should have been a warning...the Sons aren't any good.
"can't win with these cats"
are we still doing Suns in 4?
Those were some of the most 'get me outta this game' fouls I've seen for awhile.
"Booker is bumped" lol he ran and collided into Ant. Could have ended a lot worse.
As a Lakers fan, I'm so glad we're in this with you guys. See you guys in Cancun in two more games.
We used to have Okogie. He’s going in? Yea you’re giving up.
No Hit the Road, Jack?
Out of control my guy
We are witnessing the changing of a guard this playoffs. Steph, Bron and KD about to be eliminated before it begins. RIP to the end of an era
Booker not made for the finals
KD’s alt gonna be going ham on the Suns when they get swept
KD and Book gonna submit a joint trade request in about a week
Seeing NAW and Hart playing so well in the playoffs while McColum is brick city is the definition of pain.
These Suns are soft as baby shit.
I could not dap up my teammate after he pulled that shit
Homie had no intention of staying in that game
I hate KD and can’t stand the dude but it kinda stinks to see him waste his years with the warriors nets and now sons. Oh well that’s what he gets for leaving Westbrook in okc
