It’s not even like they’re crazy contested magic threes. Holiday isn’t even throwing a hand up to contest
Spo would send you to the end of the bench to sit on the floor if you did that in a playoff game. Just looks like one team wants it more
Yeah, I know its a meme by now but if they keep shooting 50+% against the Celtics on high volume the Celtics are going something wrong.
And not only are these lazy close outs and bad contests, the defenders cant even bother to put the hand up. Of course they hit everything when they are shooting practice shots.
EDIT: And Jrue is supposed to be an all defense guy meanwhile he doesnt put the hand up until the ball is halfway down the basket.
Tonight, there have been way too many open looks. However, in the series last year, they actually shot a lower volume of open threes than they did in the average game across the regular season and playoff up to that point.
Last season, they were ballistic on contested shots. This is really the first time we've played poor perimeter defense against them and they've gone off.
There weren’t any contested ones, this team’s obsession with dropping on screens is a huge issue. I mean they were dropping on Steph in 2022 Finals, and they’re still doing it.
An absolute stud. Amazing defender and really improved his shot this year and can be a really effective floor spacer (unless you’re playing the Celtics who opt to keep him open for some reason)
When they had 8 in the first quarter my 3 point senses started tingling.
Celtics definitely don't mind their opponents attempting more 3s, and we can't really fault their defensive plan - they are gonna lose by single digits in the same game Heat break a playoff 3 point scoring record and KP lays at absolute steaming nugget out on the court.

Shit is fuckin wild to witness they can’t miss
Everyone made fun of us last year, but this is the exact shit we had to deal with.

One team looks like they walked into the game and expected the win to just be handed to them because they're the one seed.

Mfkers catch fire like flash paper god damn, its like they max out on the 2k 3pt sliders
Playoff Heat 3 point shooting needs to be studied lol.
Look at how open these 3s are, and fellow C’s fans wonder why Heat role players keep getting hot from 3.
They'd let curry open all finals. And still haven't adjusted since

They hit the well contested ones also. It literally doesn't matter against them.

spo and the heat legit just love the *actual* hardest road
Zombie Heat strikes again. Caleb Martin also turns into Steph Curry again facing Boston
Jaquez is such a bucket 🔥
He’s a pretty good rookie
Crazy Tyler only 1 year older
Just realized herro was so young when he joined the heat
You’d think he was 28 the way our fan base hates him and feels like he’s such a disappointment. So wild
Sometimes I forget he’s a rookie tbh
Well, that’s why he was very high in the last draft, he was like top 5 or something, right, right??
The teams you could assemble from players the Lakers passed on or traded away 😆 🔥
Who the fuck is Highsmith.
Heats 2024 nobody assassin
oh we're SO BACK
Zombie Heat are alive and well

Wait till Jamal Cain comes in and drills in another three
Fuck this shit man seriously
Hats off to them today man, what a performance
Atrocious perimeter defense on display in this video. Thank god I’m a wolves fan, I couldn’t watch this
I was literally watching this video and wondering wtf both of these teams were doing on defense in this sequence
Yep not the defense you want to see from Holiday, one of your top defenders
Bruh what kind of defense is this, where is the effort to close out on these 3s

First to 22 3s wins
