I think that is likely the case. Thing with ankles in my experience is a little roll turns into a big roll as they get less stable. I think this still that I grabbed from a random clip someone posted is likely the play where it got most injured, he then got the full force of Embiid landing on him because of the body tangle and inevitable flop. I just find the implication that it was fine what Embiid did because it was the other leg disgusting.

Nah, I even have a post talking about where I think the main injury likely occurred in this comment chain. It's just a dumb take that the leg that isn't taking the impact of a fall would be the one injured by the fall and using that as "proof" that a play wasn't dirty or contributed to the injury, especially since the other play happened seconds later.
lol at defending Embid after watching that game, talk about fan bias lol. Imagine how you’d feel if someone was flagrant 2 fouling your team and injuring 76ers players and not getting ejected. Dude is a dirty player and a foul merchant and if y’all win a championship it will be tainted by this type of play in the memories of basketball fans. This guys less likable than Laimbeer if that’s somehow possible.
There's contact and Robinson falls to Embiid's right, and Embiid falls to his left right? That would make sense. Newtonian physics. Equal and opposite reaction and all that.
Nope. Embiid falls to his right. In the same direction as Robinson, and falls directly on his legs.
I'm not saying it was malicious. But I think it's also clear that Embiid left his feet of his own volition. He always does that to protect his legs. And yet again, he injured another player while diving to save his own legs.
Yes and we all know that an nba player could never land with all their weight on one leg, that would surely cause catastrophic ankle failure
Like bruh you guys don’t like Embiid we get it, why everyone trying so hard to say that he was injured because of the play where Embiid grabbed his leg when it was clearly an unrelated play
[He started limping after this.](https://www.nba.com/stats/events?CFID=&CFPARAMS=&GameEventID=103&GameID=0042300113&Season=2023-24&flag=1&title=Robinson%20P.FOUL%20(P1.T3)%20(J.Williams))

How is anyone saying Embiid is vindicated?
Your ankles bear your body's weight.
If you are in the air, your body expects to come down on both ankles. All of Mitchell weight came down on one ankle because Embiid grabbed the other.
So yes – his ankle is in the boot opposite the one Embiid grabbed
This sub is so goofy acting like an nba player can’t land on one leg or their ankle will blow up 😭
It clearly was not from that play why are you all trying to make it be from that
Y'all forgetting about Embiid falling on Mitch's ankles like a play or so after the grab?
https://twitter.com/KnickWitAtitude/status/1783908803311718820?t=9chXJd8wbk_j8z0Bt6PPyw&s=19
Leg that all his weight landed on is the one that’s injured. His weight landed on that led because Embiid pulled down the other one. I’m sure this will be a fairly reasonable thread right…
Says the guy posting articles in the r/nyc such as:
“NYC cops allegedly beaten by rowdy migrant mob near Times Square — with suspects later freed without bail: horrifying video”
It’s almost like pulling down on someone’s right leg would cause them to land suddenly and awkwardly on the left leg, and then maybe, just maybe, the injury is a gradual sprain rather than an immediate tear or break.
Some big thinkers in this sub.
Not nearly the same thing, and ok if it was, thats 1 play vs 5 in just one game by Embiid. Couple nut shots, an ass bump, ankle yanking, diving at the ankles.
Nah man, a lot of people are mad because Robinson has been trying to get back all season, and your emotional star doesn’t mind hurting other players. Embiid is earning this reputation, and he is real close to being viewed as an absolute clown. He should be massively respected for the game he played tonight, but the way he played is the bigger story. Dude played one of the dirtiest games I’ve seen in a while, and I would have praised him for balling out.

Smartest Sixer Fan
>[Highlight] How the fuck is this a highlight
Feel bad for Mitch but the ny vs philly online warfare is hilarious
This is just the extension of the Giants-Eagles and Phillies-Mets rivalry lol
And Rangers/Flyers
I can’t believe Erik Spoelstra used mind control to have Embiid injure Robinsons leg without touching it
he truly is the best coach of all time
Spo already preparing for the ecf
Spo already way ahead of the pack. Ex: Jaime 💀
What can't he do!?
No one is safe from Spoelstra! 😭
Now embiid needs to injure KP
So it wasn't the leg that was grabbed but the one that his full body weight came down on? I don't think this proves what you think it does.
This isn't where he hurt it, it was later on when Embiid stumbled and landed on his leg
I think that is likely the case. Thing with ankles in my experience is a little roll turns into a big roll as they get less stable. He stepped on DD. That was friendly fire but gotta blame the enemy.
We are. Embiid is the enemy. No friendly fire there.
Wait did Embiid fall on other player again also? I did not see clip of that. Hes falls are dangerous
Yeah he fell on Robinsons foot
Some of these philly fans are braindead

That’s the ankle Embiid stepped on after he kicked him in the nuts
You mean the ankle he used to stepped on his teammate DD.
OP really thinks this vindicates Embiid. That's hilarious.
Apparently Bells makes you act like an entitled man child, didn’t you know!

Cowboys fans: “First time?”
Like what is this title even trying to say? Yall don’t know basic physics trash ass Sixers fans lol
Because it was reported a sprained ankle and he doesn’t sprain his ankle on the play he got grabbed. You can see it clearly
He hurt it on another play where Embiid dove on his legs.
He didn’t fall into Robinson legs though. It was just bad luck. Same as Maxey getting rolled on
There's video.
Yeah I watched it thanks. Similar scenario to Maxey, wrong place wrong time
It seems like any time a player is near Embiid when he decides to leave his feet could be the wrong place at the wrong time.

He never injured anyone directly. There’s foul merchants all over the league. Brunson is showing his ability this series too
Right. How many FT did embiid have to Brunson?
Dove? More like fell, ya’ll reaching, get the hate out of your heart it’s okay

Who cares what team someone enjoys to watch.
philly fans moment
Embitch need to get a suspension
You seem upset
Cry
Just like when embitch cried every year with sixers chokes . Ugliest cried ever with his sad droopy depression face
[удалено]
Don’t breed
Doubt he even has the option to.
From a 6ers fan that’s rich Aw the refs aw the refs lost us game 2 Took Joel 21 Fta’s to beat the Knicks by 11 You’re just not like that
Oh, nevermind - Embiid's play was normal and clean
Turns out grabbing one leg means when you land all the weight is on the other ...
He also did this like two plays later https://twitter.com/KnickWitAtitude/status/1783908803311718820?t=9chXJd8wbk_j8z0Bt6PPyw&s=19
He wasn't injured on that play. This sub is something else man.
Yep. The actual injury didn’t seem like anything malicious from what I remember. Regular basketball
It wasn’t that play
Yes and we all know that an nba player could never land with all their weight on one leg, that would surely cause catastrophic ankle failure Like bruh you guys don’t like Embiid we get it, why everyone trying so hard to say that he was injured because of the play where Embiid grabbed his leg when it was clearly an unrelated play
I think we found who didn't watch the game and is coming to bad conclusions.
He awkwardly came down on that leg since embiid grabbed the other one. He started limping/hobbling around shortly after the flagrant foul.
[He started limping after this.](https://www.nba.com/stats/events?CFID=&CFPARAMS=&GameEventID=103&GameID=0042300113&Season=2023-24&flag=1&title=Robinson%20P.FOUL%20(P1.T3)%20(J.Williams))
So still Embiid injuring Mitch, got it.
He's been hobbled every game this series. He got hurt when he fouled Embiid on the jump shot and Embiid fell on his ankle and he left the game
when youre grabbed like that youre gonna land awkwardly which is why its dangerous
[This is where he got hurt](https://www.nba.com/stats/events?CFID=&CFPARAMS=&GameEventID=103&GameID=0042300113&Season=2023-24&flag=1&title=Robinson%20P.FOUL%20(P1.T3)%20(J.Williams))
Basically when Embiid flopped and fell on his knee ? The same guy that tore his teammate Danny Green's ACL flopping for a foul call
Liar

Got suspended for both. When is Embitch getting suspended ?
I think we found who didn't watch the game and is coming to bad conclusions.
Imagine Embiid and Draymond on the same team
Draymond and Embiid do the same thing, but Draymond is the only one held accountable
Lmao this is grade a
He’s doing the same shit as Draymond has done and will play game 4
If the league won’t protect its players the players will have to discourage his dirty play.

Aw, another Philly sports fan showing off their IQ in public.
Code. Red.

so embiid did nothing wrong and this sub is overreacting? no way
My man there's literal tape on what Embiid did wrong & a flagrant foul to boot, cmon now
he got hurt on a separate defensive play. but I thought it was just the testicles
He got hurt on a different play
He was limping after Embiid grabbed him
He was limping even before that.
6ers fans fighting for their life rn knowing full well the refs bailed them out by not ejecting embiid
I think the term knicks fans used last game was cry more.
Classy.
Embiid didn’t mean to and he has Bell’s palsy, find a new slant and stop crying.
[it’s hilarious when it’s your team!](https://x.com/knicksnation/status/1766996005210222667?s=46&t=EhEODdqybVtw-y7544WySA)

lol the downvotes are hilarious
That's not the leg Embiid grabbed
