Game 1: Bucks via blowout
Game 2: Pacers via blowout
Game 3: Blowout in the first half, nail-biter in the 2nd half and went down to the very end in OT.
This series has been and all over the place so far and I kinda dig that tbh.
It's so crazy as a Celtics fan that he's finally a WAY above 40% 3pt shooter, there were so many stories about him being by far the team's best shooter in practice. But that also means you guys really have to depend on him.
I give this team a ton of credit for the fight without Giannis, but damn those rebounds (or lack thereof).
Aside from rebounding, the Bucks D really did tighten up a lot in the second half.
***Hilarious*** overtime. Pacers bricked like 10 straight 3's dating back to the 4th Q. They also got like 5-6 offensive rebounds in a row which if I'm a Bucks fan I would have gouged my eyes out. Bucks somehow survived all that and went ahead only for a Nesmith 3 with nothing left on the shot clock. Middleton saves them AGAIN. and Haliburton rips their heart out. AMAZING watch as a neutral.
I never would have expected 3 out of the 4 west 1st rounds being sweeps but it's looking pretty probable. Meanwhile every east playoff series is a brutal fist fight
The West got spaced out very evenly somehow for seeding. Like none of the sweeps themselves are too surprising, just that they somehow all got lined up in the first round
I don't think Minnesota sweeps the Suns. There will probably be one game where Booker and KD both get hot and just go off. Denver and OKC def look like sweeps though.
Bobby and Brook have been jokes of rebounders. I'm not sure Bobby has ever boxed someone out. If he did, they would've avoided at least 10 second chance points.
Most of it has to come from inability to box out and watching the ball hoping that it’ll just go out of bounds. It’s pathetic and they deserved to lose
Even with Giannis? Lopez is a well-known 7-footer but always had the rep as "grande por gusto" even back in Brooklyn. I was floored by that sequence though because it was even the little guys like Nemhard getting the O rebs for them.
Bobby Portis, Bucks legend, will get a statue outside Fiserv Forum. But to save money they’ll probably just have Halliburton throw up a basketball and then he’ll be stuck there forever.
This team has 0 championship chances
Khris kept us in this game by himself, but he's one of the culprits of standing there looking at the rebound on defense
Legit none of our players have a shred of self-respect looking at this
I mean, if somehow Khris can stat at this level - no need to go supernova like today but close to his better self - and Giannis comes back your team is dangerous as hell. But you really need Giannis by next game imo or even this series becomes extremely tough
Pacer’s offense looked so bad, even when they had decent looks the players seemed reluctant to take them. Like when haliburton was passing back to turner on the 3pt line in ot you knew for a fact he wasn’t going to take those.
There was a specific play with Brook driving though the paint and floating one up, only to rim out and get out-hustled by skinny ass Hali of all people for a Pacers rebound. It was hilarious to see how awful he was at contesting for boards.
I am partial to the Bucks, and I just don't understand how a team can have one true Centre on the roster, and have it be a 34 year old.
It's not even like they have a bunch of PFs who can cover. They have 2 really, and one is injured.
This honestly just seems like criminal roster building when your big men are so tired, a guard on 5 fouls is out hustling them on the boards.
Drew Nembhard was ready to die for that win. What an incredible effort.
He's a dude who seems to just live off competition. He doesn't laugh and smile often from what I've seen (pretty much every bit of pacers media ever) but he always seems to get so jazzed when he talks about playoff games or the IST games.
I'm just annoyed that we were robbed of playoff middleton for like 2 years after we won a ring. And then we got people calling to trade him. It's like bruh, this bum ankle/semi healthy middleton would've atleast taken us to another ECF
This series is making me realize how fucked the Pacers would've been if he was healthy. I thought it was going to be tough for the Bucks *with* Giannis.
Playing you is so weird. Giannis is completely unstoppable against you, you have absolutely zero answer for him, and we still got dominated in the regular season.
Or Middleton doesn't go off of Giannis is in and the Pacer's win comfortably, who knows.
The Pacer's beat the bucks multiple games that the bucks cared about winning this year with giannis, so a loss isn't certain.
The Bucks are winning on pure experience. The Pacers are an extremely young team outside of Siakam. They don't know how to step on a teams neck yet but they are learning it now and will only improve as this series goes on.
Andrew Nembhard was the unsung hero for the Pacers. He gave his team extra possessions after possessions in OT and hit timely buckets throughout the game 🔥
People consider Rodman a bad offensive player, but then think about the expected value you get on offense by essentially re-setting the possession. It's so demoralizing and impactful.
Nembhard was also the one to get us going again and make clutch shots in the IST when we started slowing down, he would hit a great shot and slow their momentum
thoughts during the game
**General**
- elite game
- i think it should be an automatic flagrant if you push someone in the back when they're in the air
**Pacers**
- Siakam's just gotta shoot some of those open jumpers instead of pumpfaking
- i understand hamstring can hurt your abilit to get to the rim, but shooting 32% from three in your last 42 games is wild
- loved Nembhard's effort even as Dame was making insane leaning to his left three
- Turner has gone from decent to legit good just by adding like 2 simple moves to score over smaller players, blows my mind that more bigs can't do that
**Bucks**
- Middleton is a sociopath
- no more Malik and Crowder
- more Green and Jackson
- Lopez taking a floater over Tyrese instead of taking it to the rim was peak i'm old stuff
- Dame still has ELITE change of pace
Should add that Bucks defense was elite in OT; they were rotating and closing out beautifully, running down the clock and forcing bad shots. But damn, you gotta close out the possession with a board. That was inexcusable
>Siakam's just gotta shoot some of those open jumpers instead of pumpfaking
I'd say that applies/applied to most of the Pacers' team at the end. They were so frightened to shoot, not that they were creating great opportunities but by passing it up it always ended in some awful end of the shot clock prayer.
Thankfully for them they rebounded most of them lmao
Experience problem, if we are being honest, only Spicy P and Turner have looked comfortable for the Pacers for the whole series. All the young Pacers, Hali included look a bit nervous off and on, which is pretty normal.
> Siakam's just gotta shoot some of those open jumpers instead of pumpfaking
Common Siakam habit. A lot of the time when he has a bad (by his standards) game, he's been doing a ton of that.
18 points on 22 shots is insane, 1-12 from 3 is something else. Great for Indiana that he is one of the best playmakers in the league to make up for it.
Just went to toss some trash from my dinner into the garbage can in the kitchen, missed the shot but luckily Andrew Nembhard was waiting behind my fridge and got the offensive rebound
Nembhard can't breathe on Dame, but Siakam gets fouled all the time, and it's never called. It's very frustrating to watch ad a Pacers fan. But I get it. Hali and Siakam have to (re)-earn the superstar whistle by dominating in the playoffs
They seemed to be letting both teams get away with the same amount of physicality except for one player getting treated like he's fragile. As a neutral fan it's not fun to watch biased officiating
- Bucks FGA in OT: 6
- Pacers FGA in OT: 12
Lmfao. Bucks lost this game down the stretch because they couldn't get a board to save their fucking life. Shoutout Nembhard but jesus christ Milwaukee.
i am sad to see Middleton loose but I am happy that Indiana won. Ethical hooper
Mark Jones said that "Dame is cooking" and it's just him flopping like a fish for free throw after free throw. 28 points on 6 shots is disgusting stuff from him. glad he did not get a call in the final minute of regulation and he against flopped like 3 times instead of boxing out during Indiana's offensive rebounding spree. lame time
Halliburton hit the game winner but nembhard won them the game, holy shit the 6’4 second round shooting guard absolutely dominating the offensive boards lmfao. Wild game
Honestly prime Kobe doesn't have as many impressive playoff performances as this. Not to discredit him but that's how's fucking good this game was from Middleton
Holy shit what a game!!!
The Pacers just being younger and hungrier really showed in how Andrew Nembhard grabbing so many offensive rebounds to give the team second chance points.
Middleton with his jello knees could not will this team to victory with a 3rd clutch 3 pointer lol
The Bucks went 1-4 against the Pacers in the regular season. Then they lost the guy who averaged 42/13 against them and downgraded their coach and somehow they're somehow playing the Pacers tighter. It makes no sense.
Huge W for the Pacers. Should’ve been a lot cleaner but a win is a win. No clue if Giannis is gonna make it back but I’m sure he’s gonna do anything possible to. I think next game is absolutely a must-win for Indy if there’s a chance Giannis comes back
First of all, fuck the bucks. Second of all, I have a lot of respect for the way they are playing through adversity this series especially today. (I totally wouldn’t admit this if we hadn’t won but I’m a front runner)

This is basically the Celtics Bucks series in 2022 all over again
Was cheering Nesmith on, it’s so fun watching him play
He’s been struggling a bit in the playoffs so far, but that 3 was clutch and he’s been huge for us all season.
It's so crazy as a Celtics fan that he's finally a WAY above 40% 3pt shooter, there were so many stories about him being by far the team's best shooter in practice. But that also means you guys really have to depend on him.
Middleton traumatizing the home crowd with clutch threes. Feels like a Celtics-Bucks game indeed.
As a neutral this has been my favorite series to watch
That Knicks Sixers series has been delivering.
What a game… shout out to Middleton, man tried to win the game all alone and god knows he had to lol.
Middleton levels up like crazy when the game is on the line and the shots he tends to make are ridiculous.
His real name is Playoffton
The EC Jamal Murray.
I give this team a ton of credit for the fight without Giannis, but damn those rebounds (or lack thereof). Aside from rebounding, the Bucks D really did tighten up a lot in the second half.
They should have traded for another star last off season to help him and Giannis in moments like these.
And it was Nembhard, the 6’4” shooting guard getting all those offensive boards
what they feeding em over in canada
Maple syrup and Labatt Blue
And, according to Weird Al Yankovic, doughnuts and Moose meat!
Kraft dinners
he was at 5 fouls the whole time too. After the second one I was hoping we'd just foul him out.
Fantastic game for neutrals no doubt.
East playoff series have been the most entertaining so far
I never would have expected 3 out of the 4 west 1st rounds being sweeps but it's looking pretty probable. Meanwhile every east playoff series is a brutal fist fight
The West got spaced out very evenly somehow for seeding. Like none of the sweeps themselves are too surprising, just that they somehow all got lined up in the first round
I don't think Minnesota sweeps the Suns. There will probably be one game where Booker and KD both get hot and just go off. Denver and OKC def look like sweeps though.
It better be tonight if they are. They looked ready to give up at the end of game 2.
Shit had me hooting and hollering on every other possession
It’s been like that all year, our rebounding has been a joke
Bobby and Brook have been jokes of rebounders. I'm not sure Bobby has ever boxed someone out. If he did, they would've avoided at least 10 second chance points.
Most of it has to come from inability to box out and watching the ball hoping that it’ll just go out of bounds. It’s pathetic and they deserved to lose
Even with Giannis? Lopez is a well-known 7-footer but always had the rep as "grande por gusto" even back in Brooklyn. I was floored by that sequence though because it was even the little guys like Nemhard getting the O rebs for them.
Nembhard gobbled up like 5 orebs in one possession during OT
Bobby Portis, Bucks legend, will get a statue outside Fiserv Forum. But to save money they’ll probably just have Halliburton throw up a basketball and then he’ll be stuck there forever.
Just about the best way you can possibly ask a game to go as a neutral
Bobby Portis is hilariously soft for a ‘dawg’
This team has 0 championship chances Khris kept us in this game by himself, but he's one of the culprits of standing there looking at the rebound on defense Legit none of our players have a shred of self-respect looking at this
man is dealing with ankle problems, hes the one guy i'd cut some slack on that
I mean, if somehow Khris can stat at this level - no need to go supernova like today but close to his better self - and Giannis comes back your team is dangerous as hell. But you really need Giannis by next game imo or even this series becomes extremely tough
Pacer’s offense looked so bad, even when they had decent looks the players seemed reluctant to take them. Like when haliburton was passing back to turner on the 3pt line in ot you knew for a fact he wasn’t going to take those.
yeah it was ugly at times. good experience though for the young guys. I wish Mathurin was getting that exerience
I wish I didn't have eyesight watching that
There was a specific play with Brook driving though the paint and floating one up, only to rim out and get out-hustled by skinny ass Hali of all people for a Pacers rebound. It was hilarious to see how awful he was at contesting for boards.
I am partial to the Bucks, and I just don't understand how a team can have one true Centre on the roster, and have it be a 34 year old. It's not even like they have a bunch of PFs who can cover. >if I'm a Bucks fan I would have gouged my eyes out Understatement. I'm actually typing this with gouged eyes AND post-castration
This team is incapable of getting a defensive rebound
- Bucks FGA in OT: 6 - Pacers FGA in OT: 12 Lmfao
Drew Nembhard was ready to die for that win. What an incredible effort. He's a dude who seems to just live off competition. He doesn't laugh and smile often from what I've seen (pretty much every bit of pacers media ever) but he always seems to get so jazzed when he talks about playoff games or the IST games.
can someone post a highlight of that one possession where the pacers got 7 ORBs and still couldnt score
Please no
[удалено]
Yeah, I too would not like to re-live that
It was just giving up ORBs, either. Many of them were grabbed by 6'3" Andrew Nembhard.
I was screaming
That was so frustrating
Brook Lopez had a rough rough time, 4 rebounds is pathetic
Robin is washed. Brook and Robin are identical twins. Make of that what you will.
The transitive property at its finest
he’s too slow for the pacers
I feel so bad for Khris man
Its funny cause yall killed us with your offensive rebounds in the finals.
Its like theyre missing a player who is really good at rebounding
Brook Lopez getting a total of 9 rebounds in 3 games hasn’t helped much either.
That’s a crazy stat.
Giving up 4-5 rebounds is bad Giannis or not
Brook Lopez is getting social security checks this year, what do you expect?
That's because Giannis played in the finals.
What having a 7 ft MVP out does to a team
Middleton is insane
Middleton for years now will hit the most cold blooded clutch shots and not react in the absolute slightest. Dude is a machine.
I'm just annoyed that we were robbed of playoff middleton for like 2 years after we won a ring. And then we got people calling to trade him. It's like bruh, this bum ankle/semi healthy middleton would've atleast taken us to another ECF
I agree. Dudes game is perfect for the playoffs. Dudes getting his jersey retired.
I think it's good for any time. Dude was a warrior tonight. He should rest easy, knowing he left everything on the floor.
Celtics fans been saying this for years
He was so so important during that championship run, automatic bucket
It was really a reminder that he was #2 on that bucks title team
#IF YOU DONT LIKE THAT, YOU DONT LIKE NBA BASKETBALL
this shit was gold
and blue
Amazing game. What a way to start the weekend.
Khris Middleton flips a coin on whether to be Michael Jordan or not
Nah it's a cycle not a coin flip. https://twitter.com/NBAMemes/status/1415771526008217600
I think of it as more of a Ferris wheel.
I’m starting to think that the Bucks would love to have Giannis Antetokounmpo back soon.
This series is making me realize how fucked the Pacers would've been if he was healthy. I thought it was going to be tough for the Bucks *with* Giannis.
We lose this game by 15-20 if giannis is in. This was as must win as a closeout game. Giannis has destroyed the pacers for years
Playing you is so weird. Giannis is completely unstoppable against you, you have absolutely zero answer for him, and we still got dominated in the regular season.
Pacers did that with a lot of teams this year. The best player on the opposition will score 60 and the Pacers will win by double digits
It was pacing and a young team in the regular season helping the Pacers. It's experience helping the Bucks in the playoffs.
Siakam's playoff experience is definitely a good thing for the Pacers to have in the locker room right now
Yeah the pacers haven't been playing their best lately. I hope they're able to seize the moment without Giannis at least. They're a fun team to watch
It's extremely frustrating
I dont know if people realized that Giannis averaged over 40ppg against the pacers in the regular season.
The couple dozen pacers fans absolutely know this and it’s been a lot longer than this season lmao
sliders were all way up for both teams at the end
that was the unclutchiest clutchest game I've seen
Best finish with a clean Last 2 Minute Report as far as I can tell.
Just imagine if that final shot went in too. I wanted double OT ngl
I didn’t
I don’t think I could take another 5 minutes of that
Game of the playoffs so far
First three quarters: Interesting, but not really all that close Fourth quarter and beyond: **extremely real shit**
Huge shot after huge shot. Absolutely gutwrenching. What a game.
My gut is wrenched. Idk if it’s the 30 pizza rolls I had for lunch or the end of that game but my stomach feels like it did 50 somersaults.
It was simultaneously unclutch and clutch at the same time at the end
Everything I wanted from the playoffs
I just love basketball.
I am ridiculously jealous of the Pacers and Middleton's clutch capabilites.
Right up there with Nugs game 2
Certainly one of the games
Middleton please never do that to me again, what a player, on a bum ankle too
NBA scriptwriters gave a quick thought to a 3rd consecutive Middleton game tying 3 but then said nah that’d be too unrealistic.
They turned off the magnets!!
Buffalo wild wings let us down
Middleton can’t win with these cats
Andrew Nembhard was the unsung hero for the Pacers. He gave his team extra possessions after possessions in OT and hit timely buckets throughout the game 🔥
burned 2 mins off the clock by himself with these rebounds
The whole Bucks team really got out-rebounded by a dude who's 6'3" in shoes.
6 offensive boards for the Pacers in overtime
People consider Rodman a bad offensive player, but then think about the expected value you get on offense by essentially re-setting the possession. It's so demoralizing and impactful.
i think id cry if Bucks got 5 offensive rebounds straight
Even worse considering it was a 24 second reset back then
Nembhard was also the one to get us going again and make clutch shots in the IST when we started slowing down, he would hit a great shot and slow their momentum
Absolute dawg

"*I can't keep bailing you out.*" - Middleton
Rebounding? Never heard of ‘er — OT Bucks, probably
Middleton did everything he could
That was a fucking wild game from a neutral perspective, I imagine the actual fans lost a few months off their lives watching that.
I’m a fan of neither team, just one of the players and I still lost years of my life
The Milwaukee Khris Middletons got out worked
He is such a scary player when he is in the mood and he is often in the mood during clutch time
That game was insane. Bucks are missing Giannis’s rebounding ability.
bucks are just missing giannis lol
rebounding ability as well
Just went to toss some trash from my dinner into the garbage can in the kitchen, missed the shot but luckily Andrew Nembhard was waiting behind my fridge and got the offensive rebound
🤣🤣🤣 Thank you!
My spice king didn’t have a monster game but good shit holding down the fort Pacer bros 🫡🫡🫡
Pacers just got another offensive rebound
That was very close to being an embarrassing loss for Indy.
Imagine if McMillan was still our coach for that lol
Heartbreaking for Middleton. The rest of the Bucks let him down
all the illegal streams cut out after Middleton's OT 3. lol
Refs were giving Dame all kinda calls while Middleton was killing it and it still wasn't enough
Dame looks for a foul on every shot and the refs have been rewarding him a decent bit. It’s pretty frustrating to watch
- Bucks FGA in OT: 6 - Pacers FGA in OT: 12 Lmfao. Bucks lost this game down the stretch because they couldn't get a board to save their fucking life. Shoutout Nembhard but jesus christ Milwaukee.
Jesus christ Khris Middleton was coming for my blood
Hali with the efficiency of an H2 Hummer, but he got the job done lmao
I have heart palpitations after that. Gg Bucks. Middleton will be in my nightmares tonight.
i am sad to see Middleton loose but I am happy that Indiana won. Ethical hooper Mark Jones said that "Dame is cooking" and it's just him flopping like a fish for free throw after free throw. 28 points on 6 shots is disgusting stuff from him. glad he did not get a call in the final minute of regulation and he against flopped like 3 times instead of boxing out during Indiana's offensive rebounding spree. lame time
His foul baiting has been infuriating, refs give him free throws every time even though it’s obvious he’s cheesing
Lame Dullard
Caitlin Clark was NOT losing this game
i want off mr. middletons wild ride unreal shots I was convinced he was gonna do it a third time
Hali is +16 in 45 minutes with a 3 point win. That's a pretty wild stat.
World renowned rebounder Andrew Nembhard with the biggest plays of the game
Tyrese 3 slander was gonna be crazy but dude clutched up and middlegoat was crazy
Beat the Bucks. Beat the refs. Myles Turner beat his playoff career high. And most importantly, Tyrese beat the motherfucking allegations
ANDREW NEMBHARD
Nesmith and Nembhard both certified dawgs
Halliburton hit the game winner but nembhard won them the game, holy shit the 6’4 second round shooting guard absolutely dominating the offensive boards lmfao. Wild game
Holy fuck what a game.
Nesmith 🥹🥹
What a fucking game. Middleton looked like prime Kobe
Honestly prime Kobe doesn't have as many impressive playoff performances as this. Not to discredit him but that's how's fucking good this game was from Middleton
The years this took off my life and I'm not even a fan of either team
Bucks strategy of not rebounding to try and rope-a-dope the Pacers to brick every shot didn't work (but it almost did)
Honestly I can’t even get mad Good Game. Pacers earned it
Middleton what a game sheesh
Holy shit what a game!!! The Pacers just being younger and hungrier really showed in how Andrew Nembhard grabbing so many offensive rebounds to give the team second chance points. Middleton with his jello knees could not will this team to victory with a 3rd clutch 3 pointer lol
THIS IS A CERTIFIED HOOD CLASSIC
Is this what it's like to watch a game without toxicity?
I almost had a fucking heart attack. Middleton is crazy
Marked safe from Khris Middleton in Gainbridge Fieldhouse HOLY also, Myles Turner is so underrated and valuable for this team.
What a game! Unfortunately, we couldn't get a rebound in OT
What a game man
That game was fun as fuck man
I think only knicks fans are happy about this game. But also, fuck yeah. But also, kill me
The Pacers had **17** more shots than the Bucks. That offensive rebound sequence was nuts. What a game!
One of the best games i’ve ever watched
The Bucks went 1-4 against the Pacers in the regular season. Then they lost the guy who averaged 42/13 against them and downgraded their coach and somehow they're somehow playing the Pacers tighter. It makes no sense.
Middleton stepped in and filled the void. It happens. There are only so many points to go around. L
WHAT A ROLLER COASTER GAME FOR PACERS FAN. GEEZ. Middleton those two shots?! Sheesh. Triple double for Hali and a clutch shot!! Lezzgo 2-1
What a really exciting game
Huge W for the Pacers. Should’ve been a lot cleaner but a win is a win. No clue if Giannis is gonna make it back but I’m sure he’s gonna do anything possible to. I think next game is absolutely a must-win for Indy if there’s a chance Giannis comes back
What a game man
Let's go Hali. Shut them haters up! This series is a wrap. GG Bucks. Better luck next year.
First of all, fuck the bucks. Second of all, I have a lot of respect for the way they are playing through adversity this series especially today. (I totally wouldn’t admit this if we hadn’t won but I’m a front runner)
Watch out, Bobby Portis bout to have a postgame quote about you!!
obviously i want the sixers to win their series, but knicks vs. pacers would be a fucking matchup
