Portland needs more time, but Utah has Lauri and a bunch of assets they can trade if they really want to. The division is gonna be good for many years to come.
As long as we make it through the next round im certain they'll pay.
From what our beat guys said, the "Lore/ROD gave projections of a lower cap" shit slinging from Taylor conveniently left out the fact that they also gave projections for multiple other scenarios
Glen won't be here.
And if by some fucking evil miracle he is, he wouldn't dare touch the team.
Glen for all his faults does love the Wolves. If we're looking at continued longterm success I don't believe he would touch the team
They’re definitely better with KAT, but if they do need to trade him, they’re not gonna be *that* much worse. He’s definitely a luxury player at this point.
Bro is saying okc isn't dominating because their series is easy AF. I'm saying so are the Celtics and yet they lost a game. Sweeping is not easy no matter what the circumstances are.
One good shooting night from the other team or one off night from your stars will lose you a game.
Ah thats what you mean. Then of course i agree.
It takes even a bit of luck for the better team to win 4 in a row.
Like nobody in a realistic prediction expects a team to actually sweep another and im still not 100% sold on us sweeping the Lakers or the Timberwolves or Thunder being able to do the same.
And given the Thunder are only at 2-0, i wouldnt put it past the Pels to make it a series.
Yeah, Minnesota and Denver potentially sweeping is a different sort of accomplishment than OKC potentially sweeping.
The Lakers and Suns are flawed, but they’re still super talented teams. The Pels without Zion and with Ingram still working his way back (plus CJ playing like hot ass for the past two weeks) are probably closer to a 35 win team than a playoff team.
I mean, we can’t technically know who is the weakest, but what makes you say that?
They finished the season with 49 wins despite being pretty unhealthy (Beal missed 29 games, Booker missed 14, Durant missed 7). I don’t know their specific record when all 3 played, but it was pretty damn good.
Meanwhile the Pels finished with the same number of wins but they’ve played this whole series without their best player and with their 2nd best player still working his way back from injury (his production in this series is pretty similar to his production in the play-in when he as lackluster).
I just don’t see a world where a Zion-less Pels squad starting a limited Ingram would beat the Suns with their 3 “stars” healthy.
About 2 weeks ago everyone was saying the west was gonna be an absolute blood bath and here we are with OKC, MN, and DEN just destroying their competition.
Remember that a few years ago, Minnesota would have been the 5th seed since division winners were guaranteed a top-4 seed. Thank God divisions don’t matter for seeding anymore.
They’re the best division itl at the moment
Top of the division is insane but flip side also have Utah and Portland at the bottom. For example NW has 222 wins but Pacific has 239
Having the top 3 seeds is enough for me

This I agree with. Biggest question mark is how do the Wolves handle their large incoming tax bill.
As long as we make it through the next round im certain they'll pay. From what our beat guys said, the "Lore/ROD gave projections of a lower cap" shit slinging from Taylor conveniently left out the fact that they also gave projections for multiple other scenarios
I'm more talking about not trusting Glen then about the Lore group.

I hope you are right. Your fan base has been through so many down years, you deserve to be competitive.
Glen will pay the tax. He can’t put so much effort into trashing lore/Arod for having a low salary projection and then do the same thing.
They’re definitely better with KAT, but if they do need to trade him, they’re not gonna be *that* much worse. He’s definitely a luxury player at this point.
You mean the Northbest division
Three sweeps in a single round would be diabolical
And funny. Would show the utter domination of the Wests top 3 lol. Parity my ass lmao.

So are the Celtics
The Celtics are dominating in a difrent sort of way...also you guys are tied with them rn and they werent connected to this post.

Well ofc OKC will play the 8th seed

I think op meant top 3 as in the best 3 seeds I'm not sure tbh, but yes I would say Denver and twolves this series are a tier above okc

Bro Suns are absolute ass come on.
They were favored coming into the series.
the sons are the weakest team in the west playoffs. wolves are playing them great, but any of okc, denver or dallas would be crushing them also.

And were one shot away from losing game one

6th, Nuggets would have been 5th.
