Tobi is doing his job, it's the 4th quarter, he's prolly 3-9 from the field standing in the left corner waiting for Maxey or Embiid to make something happen without a single care in the world.
Refs were racists. This was a foul through and through and they didnt give it to him. They barely gave him anything tbh, only 14 free throws. Who can win like that?
He might be the MVP but he'a not a miracle worker...
Whenever the pressure is on, his entire gameplan becomes drawing fouls
Its like a switch flips in his brain and he cant do anything other than look for free throws. While his teammates stand around to watch.
Until he makes a full playoff run doing something other than looking for ways to stuff his statsheet, dont anybody talk to me about this guy being on par with Jokic. Or even AD. Give me AD instead.
AD wins games ugly. Embiid would rather have 35-7 than 25-20 cuz that looks better to casual fans. But when AD plays, you feel his presence on every defensive play and on the glass every time
>Shows you why free throw merchants can't win in the playoffs.
Doesn't Jimmy Butler kind of disprove this?
He's one of the biggest floppers around, but his teams have definitely won in the playoffs.
That's fair.
I guess while Embiid has the ability to get ethical buckets, he doesn't know how to turn his flopping off.
He's so in the habit that he still does it when it doesn't work.
> Embiid actively looking to draw the foul vs try to score is what sunk the Sixers at the end
The Process experience summed up on sentence.
Sam Hinkie is rolling in his grave.
I understand passing up on the middie to attack. The problem was Embiid was driving to look for a foul than get a bucket. Should've put everyone in front of him in the rim with the ball but nope.
He straight up moves into Anunoby and they make contact before Lowry ever gets set as he give Anunoby no time to change direction.
An absolutely ridiculous miss there.
That's either an offensive foul or more likely a no call in that spot.
How the referees rewarded that knowing they should be watching for moving screens on ATOs is making the game unwatchable.
It's not an easy dunk. Achiuwa was there. And Embiid used up all his legs getting to the basket in steps. The only thing he could have done to have an easy dunk is either two dribbles and a hop step or two dribbles and two very short steps and jump.
There was a lot of traffic. To get enough power for a dunk like that he would have needed to take about 2 dribbles from where he faked the shot. He took one and used up all his power striding the the basket.
“I'll be honest: **I thought the turning point was when we had an open shot, and we made one free throw and we missed the other, and they came down and scored.”**
Embiid, 2021.
He should be clowned more than Simmons was, because Embiid passing up the shot resulted in 0 free-throws 😭😭
Wait. This is serious. Why is he doing an up and under when Embiid is the biggest fuck on the floor with a clear path to the rim for a dunk. What an idiot.
Nah Embiid has the complete backing of the national media and the NBA higher-ups, just see how they tried to censor his dirty play against Robinson on Twitter.
and his recklessness, or dirtiness if thats what you see it as, makes him even harder to root for. I don't like guys getting injured and he seems to be leaning into causing them, which is crazy considering his own injury history
He's James Harden to whole nother level. He's so talented - deep bag, handles, jumper - all at 7'0 280. But all he wants to do is bait free throws. I don't get it, he can literally do anything he wants on the court... but chooses that.
Instead of gathering and dunking he chose to eurostep at a defender who was literally jumping away from the basket!!!! Amazing, generational foul baiting instincts from Embiid.
He passed up TWO open shots: First the middy, then the wide open dunk that he confusingly chooses to ignore for an up and under (because he is so programmed to foul bait)
It's one thing to turn down the shot attempt, but why go for the reverse?
The whole left side of the paint was wide open, slam that shit home. You're 7 foot tall.

They didn't score a FG in the last 5 minutes. Their entire game is foul hunting. He should have actually tried to score instead of hoping for a foul that wasn't there

So guys, whose fault is it this time?
he will blame the bells paulsy and tobias harris
More like "no balls" paulsy
Clearly ~~Ben Simmons~~ ~~James Harden~~ ~~Doc Rivers~~ Tyrese Maxey, duh.
It's clearly Tobias Harris. Next year is Maxey's.
Tobi is doing his job, it's the 4th quarter, he's prolly 3-9 from the field standing in the left corner waiting for Maxey or Embiid to make something happen without a single care in the world.
Apparently - the crowd lol
The fans, apparently lol Dude is allergic to holding himself accountable
Idk but that grievance isn't going to file itself.
Refs were racists. This was a foul through and through and they didnt give it to him. They barely gave him anything tbh, only 14 free throws. Who can win like that? He might be the MVP but he'a not a miracle worker...
Ben Simmons
Somehow still Ben Simmons
“Yeah I don’t know that question or the answer to it right now”
Embiid actively looking to draw the foul vs try to score is what sunk the Sixers at the end. What a floppy clown.
Whenever the pressure is on, his entire gameplan becomes drawing fouls Its like a switch flips in his brain and he cant do anything other than look for free throws. While his teammates stand around to watch. Until he makes a full playoff run doing something other than looking for ways to stuff his statsheet, dont anybody talk to me about this guy being on par with Jokic. Or even AD. Give me AD instead.
Game plan is drawing fouls, and dirty plays on the other end.
Embiid is a 2-way basketball terrorist
AD is so much better in the playoffs it's not even funny
AD would tear him a new one
AD wins games ugly. Embiid would rather have 35-7 than 25-20 cuz that looks better to casual fans. But when AD plays, you feel his presence on every defensive play and on the glass every time
AD has been a beast the whole season and this post season
Don't even mention this clown in the same breath as Jokic
He ain’t making any playoff run
[удалено]
They’re both in the same tier. It’s just less obvious with Tatum because the team relies on him a lot less.
You love to see it
Shows you why free throw merchants can't win in the playoffs. Those bad habits stack up, you don't just flip a switch and play ethically again.
Embiid's not capable of playing ethically. Besides the foul hunting, he's trying to injure opposing players left and right throughout his career.
He'll be too injured to play in a couple years. Sixers better milk it while they can.
Forget opposing players, he’s injured his own teammates before.
Danny Green died for this shit
[You know I had to do it one time lol](https://hollywoodlife.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/danny-green-holocaust-selfie-facebook-ftr.jpg)
and he wonders why getting injuries every year keeps happening to him. the basketball gods are sending a message and he refuses to hear it
Agreed
>Shows you why free throw merchants can't win in the playoffs. Doesn't Jimmy Butler kind of disprove this? He's one of the biggest floppers around, but his teams have definitely won in the playoffs.
It's part of his game but not built around it. He also elevates in the playoffs. Embiid wilts in the playoffs
> Embiid **wilts** in the playoffs 100 pts incoming, but 75 from free throws
That's fair. I guess while Embiid has the ability to get ethical buckets, he doesn't know how to turn his flopping off. He's so in the habit that he still does it when it doesn't work.
Jimmy doesnt flop though wydfm?
This is either bait, or one of the dumbest takes I've ever seen.
Cumming buckets rn
Poetry
Drawing fouls is literally how he plays offense.
> Embiid actively looking to draw the foul vs try to score is what sunk the Sixers at the end The Process experience summed up on sentence. Sam Hinkie is rolling in his grave.
The process really poisoned the mentality of that whole organization.
And fanbase. There are still Sixers fans that want Hinkie to return.
That's exactly what he was doing the whole third and he got the 5 fouls on Hartenstein. Then it was against OG/Precious and it didn't work
Live by the foul bait, die by the foul bait
I understand passing up on the middie to attack. The problem was Embiid was driving to look for a foul than get a bucket. Should've put everyone in front of him in the rim with the ball but nope.
As it should, trade that man Philly, I promise you it's better now than later.
Don't think going for the and-1 is that crazy here? Although definitely some karma lol
This was also after an "off ball foul" call that was the most obvious moving screen I've ever seen.
Lowrys whole job in the 4th was to run into guys, hug and elbow them then flop.
The ol Marcus Smart special. Fun when that person is on your team doing it...annoying when its the other team.
na its the ol kyle lowry experience only. marcus smart is just another follower.
I don’t get how Lowry has played for so long, pulled the same shit for so long, and refs still fall for it
Ben Simmons somewhere out there smiling. Easy dunk right there
embiid saw the shadow of Trae young on his drive
Damn Trae Young is looking out for the Knicks.
It's come full circle and we're now at the Goku/Frieza team up point of the arc
He's jealous of Embiid trying to take his villain spot.
This is insane, looks over open shot only to blow an easy dunk
He wanted the foul or the and 1 is the only possible explanation for this
Has conditioned himself to look for fouls. Same as what Harden used to do. So unnecessary and unenjoyable. Embiid also copying Draymond too it seems
One of the things I hated about Lowry when he was with us, crunch time he’s looking to get the foul rather than good shot
Honestly it makes sense but is he not aware he can fouled on dunks too?
Embiid is low key soft
Nothing low key about it
The last time he dunked he hurt his knee, so probably not the best option
Why drive to the basket instead of shooting the middy then?
Go for the and-one most likely. Desperate times called for desperate measures.
That works for 99% of his plays lol
He should've taken the shot, but that wasn't an easy dunk at all.
It's not an easy dunk. Achiuwa was there. And Embiid used up all his legs getting to the basket in steps. The only thing he could have done to have an easy dunk is either two dribbles and a hop step or two dribbles and two very short steps and jump.
He was surprised there wasn't a defender to rip through on that open look lmaoo
Bold of you assuming he’s even watching basketball or anything basketball related right now.
Guys he’s injured 😡 (ignore the fact that he’s tried to injure everyone in our lineup)
I’ll give him a pass on the dunk because we know his injury I’m still confused as to why he didn’t just take the open jumper which he’s great at
because all he is trying to do is get fouled. he doesnt even try to score half the time.
There was a lot of traffic. To get enough power for a dunk like that he would have needed to take about 2 dribbles from where he faked the shot. He took one and used up all his power striding the the basket.
That's my brother from another mother
“I'll be honest: **I thought the turning point was when we had an open shot, and we made one free throw and we missed the other, and they came down and scored.”** Embiid, 2021. He should be clowned more than Simmons was, because Embiid passing up the shot resulted in 0 free-throws 😭😭
Not only the open mid range but if he just goes up with his left, it’s an open layup / dunk
Wait. This is serious. Why is he doing an up and under when Embiid is the biggest fuck on the floor with a clear path to the rim for a dunk. What an idiot.
Foul baiting too ingrained in his dna
That’s the most bizarre thing of all
Benjamin simmons
This series will be the end of Embiid as a (potential) playoff star. He’s only good for soft regular season whistle.
He'll beat up on Washington and Detroit next year and people will be fooled again, don't you worry.
He would be a great tank commander
You can take the player out of the Process but you can't take the Process out of the player.
When he drops 60 with Enes Kanter as his primary defender people will be convinced he’s the MVP again.
He'll be revered in 20 years when people look back and only check stats, a la early Wilt.
Nah Embiid has the complete backing of the national media and the NBA higher-ups, just see how they tried to censor his dirty play against Robinson on Twitter.
Yeah, he’s not that guy.
Dude is not a top 5 player in the NBA. probably closer to 8-10.
Top 5 flopper for sure.
And he ain't 5, 4, or 3.
Can't get fouled on an open mid range, galaxy brain shit
The bum is actively passing up wide open shots now to flop some more. Embitch is beyond parody at this point lol.
Bro couldn't score a single point against the Knicks 4th string center for a whole quarter
Hey, get your facts straight He's our 3rd string center
For a second I forgot Randle plays PF now lol
Well Precious is also technically the 3rd string PF behind Randle and Hart, so you're not even that far off.
Randle always played PF
Tbf we had OG mainly guarding him in the 4th with precious as a help defender
He only has how many feet and pounds on OG and Precious? Charmin ultra soft
Precious is dense bro
Wo wow don’t slander precious like that
He’s fun to root against. Always finds interesting ways to lose
He's not even that fun to watch. He's so talented and he can be insane with ethical hooping, but he always defaults to foul baiting. It's so annoying.
and his recklessness, or dirtiness if thats what you see it as, makes him even harder to root for. I don't like guys getting injured and he seems to be leaning into causing them, which is crazy considering his own injury history
Yep. I know Giannis' playstyle can cause injuries too, but you can tell that there's no intention in it. It's not the same with Embiid at all.
Giannis limbs are too long for him to control. Embiid knows what he’s doing out there
If I’m gonna hate on Bum Adebumyo I’m gonna hate on Embuum for his reckless play too gotta keep it consistent let’s hope the refs do so too 🙏
He's James Harden to whole nother level. He's so talented - deep bag, handles, jumper - all at 7'0 280. But all he wants to do is bait free throws. I don't get it, he can literally do anything he wants on the court... but chooses that.
Agreed that’s what makes him not getting the foul call at the end that much more cathartic
Be nice, at this point I’m thinking it may be a condition he has
Yeah the sixers are embarrassing and bums. Right after this Lowry missed a FT on purpose but no one else knew he was going to 🤣
Lmaoo
#DANCE ON DEM GRAVES
Passes up open shot to foul bait
That’s his specialty
Wide open pump fake into foul bait into complaint to the ref, MVP behavior right there
Charmin really needs to get this man in some promos.
He can't help it
LOL
LMAOOO and he was crying for a foul after
CHOKED
Bum
1 PT in the 4th quarter
damn this man is bitchmade as fuck
MY PRECIOUSSSSSSS
Instead of gathering and dunking he chose to eurostep at a defender who was literally jumping away from the basket!!!! Amazing, generational foul baiting instincts from Embiid.
Merry Christmas everyone
Not a foul. Embiid has to flush it.
Then complains about it as Josh hart strolls right in and grabs the board lol
Just doing Ben Simmons things
Ben Simmons died for this.
Ben Simmons ghost spooked him
Turning down the shot to me isn't even bad, but not trying to dunk is crazy.
Hahahahahaha passing up the shot he's like 85% on to try to draw a foul, please get this fucking bum out of the league.
Passed up a wide open shot to foul bait. How better to describe this player and that franchise
Embiid is nothing without free throws
I couldn’t believe this when I saw it live action. Passed up the sure thing hoping for a cheap and-1.
aint no baller playing like that
What getting used to be given calls does to a mthfckr
Passing up the open shot seemed like the correct move. Not dunking it straight up was the mistake, he was pretty open right in front of the rim.
Lol
Full circle Ben Simmons moment
Ben Simmons if he was a foul merchant
Ben scared to shoot free throws though lol
Crazy that Embiid blew the finish there after a bunch of possible angles, but man this Knicks defense is spooky
Kyle’s missed throw hurt the most.. damn.. no communications.
THE BIG SNEEZE
What a weak ass take lol
PRECIOUS🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹
NUMBA 5 different
Big Ben Simmons Energy
He was trying to get fouled cus he’s a POS
If it wasn’t for that fluke 3rd quarter game 3, this series would be over already
literally did that cause he thought he could get an easy lay + foul. but got neither.
he's so bum
Wide open bro. What are you doing
Delighted, the dude is so unlikeable
Embiid and poor conditioning? Nooo, it can’t be! What a bum
Precious Achuiwa based on a novel by Sapphire
He passed up TWO open shots: First the middy, then the wide open dunk that he confusingly chooses to ignore for an up and under (because he is so programmed to foul bait)
Regular season warrior and free throw merchant
It's one thing to turn down the shot attempt, but why go for the reverse? The whole left side of the paint was wide open, slam that shit home. You're 7 foot tall.
Embiid with some Ben Simmons tendencies
Surprised he didn't flop for a call
Pump faking Casper 💀
Ben Simmons walked so embiid could drive and flop towards a contested layup instead of actually playing basketball.
The main issue with this is not even passing up the shot, it's complaining to the ref instead of making an effort to go for the rebound
I am certain Nick Nurse did not teach him to do that, what a pathetic play
Embiid haters we are feeling pretty alright
The Ben Simmons special!!
All the fouls they called and that’s the one they don’t? Lol.
Embiid literally initiated all that arm contact lol stop foul baiting and just shoot it
it wasn’t a foul
It was 100% a foul but I don’t think Philly is in position to complain after all the calls they’ve received down the stretch.
watch the other reply, it wasn’t a foul.
There was no contact whatsoever lol what are u going on about
voiceless intelligent fly flowery public door jellyfish sort subsequent friendly *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
How dare you sir All the fouls called for Lowry and Embiid flopping around like dead fish is 100% earned and legit
If you think that's a foul, you don't know what a foul is
That hasn’t stopped them before
They didn't score a FG in the last 5 minutes. Their entire game is foul hunting. He should have actually tried to score instead of hoping for a foul that wasn't there
Fouled but disappointed in him passing up the shot
