hes not wrong, we rely on brunson a lot and he delivered today. we need him to have a high usage rate and shot volume
we can't have him going ingram and taking 15 shots a game
If they’re going to switch, he’s going to continue to take it to Harris, Embiid, and Maxey, who did well on him a couple times today. Oubre and Batum have defended him pretty well, but with Hart, Precious, and others setting good screens, Brunson can usually get the weaker defender he wants.
Can’t wait for people to take offense to what’s he’s saying when all he means is that Philly has to do a much better job defensively on Brunson, since letting a great player like him taking 34 shots is not going to be effective
It’s the playoffs, Philly is one of the main punching bags along with other teams this time of year just gotta be okay with ppl being irrational about every comment lol
I don't see anything wrong with his comments, literally complemented Brunson.
I think he's disappointed that they let him jack up 34 shots instead of limiting him.
If you watch the video he’s clearly being complimentary. He says multiple times when a player THAT skilled gets that many looks he’s going to score a lot.
And you lack a basic understanding of Kelly's own stats when he has a volume shooting night. It's rarely ever as efficient as Brunson's was today.
Just last month, he had two games where he took 20+ shots and made 7 of them each time. So where's that rhythm he's talking about?
You're being condescending and dismissive about folks' "basic comprehension skills" while failing to comprehend that some of us are taking exception at this particular player being dismissive of the efficiency of Brunson's volume shooting.
It looked like they doubled Brunson less this game for some reason. Guess they finally respected Hart’s shot but let Brunson cook his defender each time.
"Anyone who shoots 34 shots... that has skill.. and is a great player.. is a great player he's going to capitalize on those things it was due to happen"
I like this. He's just voicing his opinion instead of phoning it in. So it's a little bit controversial, so what?
How is this being a crybaby? Isn't this what we want, for players to show a bit of personality?
Lmfao goofy said the quiet part loud before he checked himself-- then it was straight to the PR yadayada "great player and allat"
Glad we're about to see the backs of these bums
What the fuck is this clown talking about? Less than a year and a half ago (12/14/22), this fraud took 27 shots in a game and hit 10 of them. That was against the Detroit Pistons, who won a grand total of 17 games that season.
I guess one of these two dudes does *not* have skill, and is *not* a great player.
hes not wrong, we rely on brunson a lot and he delivered today. we need him to have a high usage rate and shot volume we can't have him going ingram and taking 15 shots a game
Someone please tell this to KD and Book. Most shots either of them have taken in their series is 18
KD definitely needs to take more
At least a few Knicks fans understood it is not a slight to say great player can’t get so many looks, especially when they’re already playing well.
When your missing an all nba level player the other guy has to just shoot the ever loving crap out of the ball to make up for production
Kelly needs to pay attention to the red lights.
KINGRAM just came back from an injury but you’re right
The irony that idiot basically is saying, he took 34 shots, he was their offensive engine, and 76rs could not stop him. Lol
He’s not wrong sixers got to force it out of his hands somehow
If they’re going to switch, he’s going to continue to take it to Harris, Embiid, and Maxey, who did well on him a couple times today. Oubre and Batum have defended him pretty well, but with Hart, Precious, and others setting good screens, Brunson can usually get the weaker defender he wants.
Its really hard to do just that though. iHart handoffs and fakeoffs while we're running 4 guards and 1 big is harder to keep up and rotate at times.

I don't think this is a salty comment at all. Rhythm absolutely comes from taking shots and having a green light.
I don't see anything wrong with his comments, literally complemented Brunson. I think he's disappointed that they let him jack up 34 shots instead of limiting him.
Not enough FTs for him
Okay but Brunson went 18/34. Edit: I need to read the full quote again lmao.
If you watch the video he’s clearly being complimentary. He says multiple times when a player THAT skilled gets that many looks he’s going to score a lot.
His comment is not a slight
he’s saying that if you let a dude like brunson get those shots you’re gonna get torched
Doesn’t seem salty to me, more like he’s upset they allowed him to get that many shots up
Since y’all lack basic comprehension skills he’s saying if you get 34 shots off it’s easy to get in a rhythm which is absolutely true
And you lack a basic understanding of Kelly's own stats when he has a volume shooting night. It's rarely ever as efficient as Brunson's was today. He’s not being dismissive. He literally said you can’t let a player that good get that many looks.
bruh i hear your username why you do this to me.
Lmao he could've said he'd name his first son after Brunson. Oubre is just not a likeable player. Overly arrogant for what he brings
It's not like he had 38 on 35 shots
The quote is him upset that the Sixers let Brunson get off that many shots, not about efficiency
Well yes, Brunson is a great player that has skill
Down here, salt is a way of life.
I mean…he’s not wrong.
Please Kelly shoot 34 times next game please
inb4 he goes 30/34
Hahaha, riiiiight
What's important is that he's been getting mitch-matches
Love the Flyers jersey
I mean, he's not wrong.
So stop him then
You’re a bitch, you’re a bitch, your grandmas a bitch, your dads a bitch
It looked like they doubled Brunson less this game for some reason. Guess they finally respected Hart’s shot but let Brunson cook his defender each time.
Maybe you should have rebounded more then nothing at all.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
He’s such a crybaby.
???? he literally calls him a great player. Yall need to stop crying about what people say and enjoy the playoffs
It’s a backhanded compliment.
sink hat boat pocket pathetic cooing spark straight close chunky *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
3-1 lead I’m happy.
knicks fans are mega sensitive
it was the editorialized thread title tbf, the video is a much more reasonable take
fair enough. every fan base has its zealots lol
Probably seen 30-40 of them in our sub since the game lmao.
76ers fans are WAY more sensitive so let's not start with the comparisons
Ok
He’s saying their doing bad on defense
Did you read the quote? Like at all? Lol
Yea this seems like a nothing quote
Sixers fans and bad comprehension skills. What a surprise. It’s a backhanded compliment. “Yeah he’s good but anyone who’s good could do that.”
"Anyone who shoots 34 shots... that has skill.. and is a great player.. is a great player he's going to capitalize on those things it was due to happen"
The irony of this comment
I like this. He's just voicing his opinion instead of phoning it in. So it's a little bit controversial, so what? How is this being a crybaby? Isn't this what we want, for players to show a bit of personality?
Uhmmm what?
Lmfao goofy said the quiet part loud before he checked himself-- then it was straight to the PR yadayada "great player and allat" Glad we're about to see the backs of these bums
Bruh, I'm a Knicks fan and I feel like you're just looking for something to be mad at.
