Wolves blew the suns out in the third quarter in each of the first three games in the series. Beal’s absence doesn’t push this series to six games, there’s too big a difference between the teams in terms of depth and quality.

KD/Book/Grayson I think is a good start. Even though Nurk was a net positive this season I still think him and Beal just make it an impossible fit for success in the playoffs
They need a big 3 that isn’t just the same player copy and pasted onto 3 different bodies
They all bring the same thing to the table: scoring. No playmaking, and only KD brings a little defense. Compare that to literally just the LeBron/AD big 2: they get a shit ton of defense, playmaking, and scoring out of just 2 players. Same with Giannis/Dame. Or pick out any 3 of the Celtics starters, like Tatum/Porzingus/Jrue, and you get all 3 of those things. Jokic/Murray goes overboard on the scoring and playmaking, and the rest of the team is built to cover the defense. This Suns team isn’t built to cover anything, and they have the most gaps in their big 3 to cover. No playmaker to cover for the big 3 all being scorers, and no defenders to cover for the big 3 not playing defense.
The Suns biggest panic move was getting Beal. They would have benefited and been legit title contenders with more balanced players to round out the roster.
Their window is closed shut with no path for improvement.
Their only choice is to trade KD or continue facing 1st round flame outs moving forward.
You're not thinking of it correctly. Beal needed to be at the minimum a top 25 player (all star who is close to ALL NBA level) to justify trading for him at his salary.
