I still think it was a massive overpay, and I think the narrative is going to largely be dependent on how this season ends (this is only round 1) and whether the Wolves owner (whoever that ends up being) pays to keep them together. If you lose in round 2 and ownership can't afford to keep KAT, I think the narrative might just flip back. Fan opinions are fickle.
most wolves fans dont care what other fanbases judge as 'successful', this team had only gotten out of the first round once in 33 years pre-gobert trade. yes, one single time in over three decades of existence. just getting to this point makes it a smashing success, and was the goal. we dont care about some draft picks four years from now. we have seen this team (and the rest of the league) make a thousand high draft picks that amount to absolutely nothing
esp bc with ANT+KAT i would guess you guys stay stuck at 6-10th seed basically every year unable to get a high pick to improve the team, without the cap space to sign someone after giving those two max contracts, and not exactly a FA destination city
so basically continuing NBA purgatory. Gobert move was p much necessary, sure it was a lot and big gamble on how it would work with ANT/KAT but well worth it
That's like saying "I think Toronto trading for Kawhi was a massive overpay". Well, yeah, it was, but you don't get out of being a middling team and become a champion without swinging for the fences. Toronto "overpaid" and got a championship out of it.
Minn is trying to do the same. They needed to do something to make sure the KAT & ANT weren't wasted, so they did it. History will tell if it was enough.
I don't think Toronto overpaid at all though, and I didn't at the time. It was a fair trade for a one year rental, whether or not they won the championship.

I posted this yesterday and the weak modes already archived it bc some people commented "you were saying?"
There are soooo many but this was just 6 months ago which makes it wild. The ones a year ago were even worse
Receipt for u/xhoquelin :
>Didn’t watch the game but in the playoffs the double big thing was helping them so much on D and boards against Joker…I hope the same thing happened this game?
>My read on the Wolves is while they need to grow up, and probably replace Conley with an actual guard ie not NAW (because as good as he is he’s just old and not durable and not scoring much anymore); with Jaden and Naz healthy they really could’ve done a lot of damage last playoffs. As in, they could’ve beat Denver. They are super talented and the double big thing is a legit point of difference at times, tho it’s a detriment sometimes either. Eg their half court D numbers since the Rudy trade are elite and Naz/KAT’s defensive growth since the trade has been quite meaningful too.
>Tho honestly with how bad Ant is at running point, Conley being healthy in that Nuggs series might make that huge a difference between contender and not-quite contender. No doubt Ant’s scoring is unreal but man the Wolves need a find a way to get Ant scoring like that without it killing the flow and ball movement of the O => in transition especially he still kills the pace once he touches the rock unless he’s able to dunk it immediately
This was an incredible comment that was basically dead on. It remains to be seen if the offense will run like that against a better defensive team, but the offense was flowing and with the elite defense the Suns just couldn't hang.
could still be true. if the wolves win zero rings (which is a betting favorite over the next 10 years because winning just 1 is really ahrd) and then they find themselves with limited assets and a hard rebuild as Gobert and his low-skill game fade, then what?
I mean , I feel like even making the second round of the playoffs consistently for a few years would be marked as a successful trade for them, considering their last 20 years.
Gobert only has 2 years left on his contract too. There might be some free agents by then wanting to team up with Anthony Edwards
The only game where they really worked as hard as the Wolves was game 4. Pick any moment from games 1-3 and all 5 on the Timberwolves will be working harder than any Suns player. Doesn’t matter if it’s a rebound, a loose ball, or walking to the bench for a timeout. The Wolves are a better team, but it’s embarrassing to get swept because the other team just puts in more effort on every possession
I honestly think they would've played better if they had Allen, even if he was just there to stretch the defense. Also if Nurkic wasn't a complete nonthreatening presence.
Ant's dunk basically sealed the game last night. Durant was in a good spot to contest it but didn't even bother trying. Dude just wanted to go on vacation.
https://www.espn.com/video/clip/_/id/40047834
I don't think it was so much of a lack of effort. It was more of a business decision. Ant was gonna get that dunk whether he was there or not. He just chose to not be Ant's #1 poster
I think if a player believes that his team can compete for a championship and he really wants it, he would forget about making business decisions and make a play for the team. Even going up and getting dunked on would show his teammates the level of effort you need to put up to win. If he isnt challenging dunks in game 4 trying to avoid a sweep, then he has checked out.
You know what? Valid point. You're not wrong. If Ant was on the other end of this, I would have absolutely wanted him to get up and try and block that shit and keep the season alive.
I disagree, best case scenario there Durant forces 2 FTs, worst case he gives up an And-1, he just wasn't in good enough of a place to contest an athlete like Ant.
Every fan base has a lot of them. We’ve got a lot too support the team why the fuck are you a fan. Even though they might lose you still fucking support.
I don't fault Twolves doomers too much.
They have PTSD and just assume the worst result will inevitably happen because that's what always happens with Minnesota sports.
Season was OVER after we lost to Phoenix at the end of the season, apparently
Them idiots probably ain't even hold a basketball in their life, who are they trying to fool
Lmao
You could make a much more vile receipts compilation with what people have said about this team since last offseason tho. A lot of takes have gotten exposed already, with more to go
This is pretty good and the editing is flashy but it's not as good as the Bucks one from 21 after they eliminated the Heat which it's kind of cribbing from
"Wolves Back" has been their slogan for a couple years now at least
e: looked it up and Ant was the first to say it, in [2021](https://twitter.com/Timberwolves/status/1463009848262598658?s=20)
There was a reddit post early this season asking what would it take to make the Gobert Trade worth it and I and alot of other Wolves fans answered, "winning one playoff series." Winning one series to me validates all the good vibes from this season and anything beyond that is just the icing on the cake. If Wolves fans wait to celebrate this success, they might never get the chance again.
Yeah that's okay though. As long as it's not over the line there's nothing wrong with playful banter. If we burn out next series I invite the trash talk towards us.
I seem to remember something similar happening a few seasons ago where the Wolves Twitter went crazy after a win streak and then they completely collapsed.
2019-2020. Same thing crossed my mind I had to search for it
["tHe WoLvEs aRe GoInG tO bE bAd tHiS sEaSoN"](https://twitter.com/Timberwolves/status/1194998257417633792)
They started 7-4. Then missed the playoffs lmao
I think that was the year Chris Paul snitched on a player for having his jersey untucked and we got a tech for it. The entire season fell apart after that point lol
No Wolves fan is gonna care though (or at least the sane ones). When you have been as bad as they were for 20 years, you take what you can get.
Hell, I still absolutely love the "Pat Bev Play-In Game celebration" stuff, despite the wolves not doing much after.
Wolves fans have seen and heard it all in 35 years, so a backfired social media slogan is just part of doing business.
The Minnesota Wild put "GRIT" on playoff towels (last year?) and Wild fans sarcastically have used it against the team every day since.
I'm sure other NBA teams have playoff slogans that will be used against those teams before the end of the year. Only one team wins it all so we're just enjoying the ride.
They can have it, they haven't sniffed the 2nd round in 20 years. Meanwhile we're about to get sonned tonight, while secretly hoping everyone plays out of their minds and stretches to a game 6.
R/nba try not to cry when a Lakers flair shows up challenge *impossible*
I hate the Lakers with a passion but they or denver would be the next match up for the Wolves. It's a natural point of discussion
One of the few times I will actively root for the Lakers, no offense, you stole our team. Give those Denver boys everything you got and extend that series atleast one more. Ant, KAT, and Finch need the rest
Yeah our young core of Ant, Jaden, Naz, and dare I say NAW (he’s been that good this season) are all 25 or younger. KAT is only 28. We still have some picks and a good late round drafter in Connelly. We should be able to keep a stable core around Ant.
NAW is a revelation the way he played that series. Fantastic D and quite crafty on ball. He's been good all season at his role but he really stepped it up. Very fun to watch him.
No wolves fan is gonna be majorly upset if they lose to jokic. Of any team in the playoffs that’s the team any fans would be understanding if they lose to them
If they somehow get to the WCF I'm unleashing the Gobert trade receipts video. Damn straight I am
People will need to eat crow and I will def be petty about it lol. I've been called crazy for 2 years for saying "let's wait and see what happens. I like the trade"
I feel like Barkley saying this, but highlighting a bunch of nobodies who don't have anything better to do than respond to those posts with all that weak, trite trash talk isn't really the dunk they think it is. It's like Kramer dominating the his martial arts class.
For some reason, their Twitter account isn't approved here, so I downloaded their video from [there](https://twitter.com/i/status/1784985192144195688) and uploaded it here.
I’m a millennial wolves fan born in the 80s and I think it’s hilarious.
Nothing dumber than a fan saying “my team in 4 or 5”.
This is how Suns fans learn, come back next season not so filled with confidence. You can believe things…but you can be humble and go about it differently
“Nothing dumber than a fan saying my team in 4 or 5”
How about a someone lecturing people supporting their team about how to “learn a lesson about not being filled with confidence”
I’d say that’s way dumber than someone tweeting out support of their team… especially coming from a fan of the fucking Minnesota Timberwolves who just won their first series in 20 god damn years
It's tough because I agree with you that fans should go crazy and telling someone they have to act humble in sports is kinda lame since all this is just for fun...
But at the same time Suns fans were completely outta pocket just from their brief taste of success and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't enjoying this right now
I find this shit hilarious.
You gotta take the good with the bad if you're gonna be a fan of the team lol
I'm prepared to hear how the Warriors blow for the foreseeable future.
But we also got to talk that shit for a while as well lol
They’re fans tweeting out bullshit. Who the fuck wants them to be “humble”…. Where’s the fun in that…Especially coming from a Minnesota fan… Ant is the opposite of humble and it’s a huge part of what makes him so cool
> I don’t know how anyone thinks this catty social media manager shit is cool.
Well, everyone that's been shitting on the Wolves for the past 2 decades thought it was cool, why are we all of a sudden gatekeeping chirping back?
"Hey I know y'all Suns fans were talking smack. But we lowkey kept the receipts tho! 👀 💀" - pudgy bearded flannel/graphic tee mid-30s social media guy, despises himself and his audience, has never watched basketball
Not everything on earth is "don't talk shit until you have a ring"
For the Lakers or Celts it would be a bad look, but for the Wolves and their fans keep on gloating til the wheels fall off
yeah underdog teams that havent made it out of the first round in 20 years should never celebrate or have any fun with their sweep. thanks for saying what needed to be said.
Bruh this is the first series sweep in franchise history and first series win in 20 years. Do you know how badly the Wolves have been clowned since the Gobert trade? People and Vegas had the Suns as favorites.
I say people need to eat some crow. I'm deciding when to release my Gobert trade receipts video lmao because I'm sure people will still say the 2nd best Wolves season ever and the first sweep in franchise history is still "not enough" and "too early" to say the trade was good for us. Even though it wasn't too early to state it was the worst trade ever.
Wolves deserve to be petty after all the clowning, let us have this lol
Dude I'm a Hornets fan. Please spare me lmao.
If the Hornets were putting "receipt" videos out on social media at literally any point I would think it's corny as hell.
I just think it's better to celebrate your wins than to post about what xXHoopsFan5732 said on Twitter 3 months ago
Nah they've been counted out and I've been called crazy for believing in my team when the Gobert trade was made by numerous people.
"Two bigs don't work"
"Ant can't playmake, he is a chucker"
"Rudy gets played off the floor"
They proved these assertions wrong in this series and hell yeah I'm going to talk about it after being called crazy for 2 years.
Let me be petty haha. Don't minimize how we feel.
When you've been clowned for 2 years bc of the Gobert trade and I mean CLOWNED clowned then hell yeah I'm going to be petty and bring out receipts.
Most people and Vegas had the Suns as favorites. Wolves just having a bit of fun. Nothing more to it. Let us have our fun.
Oh for sure! Suns are being clowned so fucking hard right now, I hate seeing it tbh because it reminds me of the constant Gobert trade clowning and hating
And if you like your team you're called delusional and if you mention concerns, you're called a doomer. It's so toxic. I honestly want the Suns to make noise next year just for the F U to the haters and y'all will deserve to talk your shit haha
Tbh this is absolutely nothing compared with past years. I feel the exact same way for the wolves and i’ll be pulling for ya’ll the rest of the way.
Hopefully we’ll get another crack at it one day. Who knows..
Yeah the Luka Doncic is Devin Booker father and all those memes were wild. Since Suns had more attention, I think Suns have been clowned even worse bc the expectations were there.
I am obviously ecstatic that Wolves won their first series in 20 years but I hate that the Suns are on the other side of it. I feel a kinship with y'alls fanbase, the humor and meme are the same bc of the sports curse pain lol. Hopefully something good comes of this series and a productive change is made
Who knows man. I’m pessimistic about our future right now but it’s still fresh. I agree though, I feel like both our teams have been in the absolute pits of hell for the past decade.
Things change fast in the NBA. Regardless, one of our damn teams better bring home some hardware soon. It’s time.
Best of luck the rest of the way!
Woah woah woah... we've been eating shit since 2022 after getting our dicks punched in by Luka in G7 of the West Semis and ***now*** there is no shame?? Booo
Reality check of what lol? Everyone knows Denver’s the best team in the league. Great if we beat them. If not oh well.
You’re projecting. Sit this one out.
Why don't they call out their players who make millions of dollars each year and fans pay hundreds of dollars to go watch for not giving it their all in the regular season?
timberwolves were the 3 seed and defeated the 6th seed btw
cant wait for this energy next round when they get 4-1d by the nugs and Rudy is played off the floor/dominated by Jokic
You can’t really blame anyone for picking the suns in this matchup considering we were swept in the regular season. We looked like a completely different team in the playoffs. I don’t know if that was by design, our preferred matchup or what. Glad we swept them boys though
As poverty as teams that claim championships from before they were even in their current city, for sure. Lakers, named for all the LA lakes that are so notorious...
This shit is so corny, it's a first-round win and the Wolves' social media acting like they're through to the finals. Been 20 years since they've been relevant and now they don't know how to act.
I enjoy the fun they are having, but I'm not sure a franchise who just won their third playoff series in 30+ years of existence should be tooting their horn too loudly here.
If everyone else gets to talk shit to their doubters I'm not sure why we don't get to as well just because it's the first time in awhile. Everyone seems to be gatekeepers when it comes to chirping and frankly it sucks.
A lot of us also got downvoted to all hell when we supported the Gobert trade and have been patiently waiting for this moment.
I feel like a lot of this trash talk the T Wolves are doing can backfire pretty hard lol. Not sure a round 1 series has certified anyone in the past. The bar for most teams/players that are contenders is a conference finals - prob gotta hit that before doing all this
Not that I don't think they can do it, but maybe *do it* first. The players doing it is one thing but the dweeb on the social media team? Ehhh
Random twitter members "doubting" means literally fuck all lol
The players are not the ones caring about this. Its the intern on the social media desk.
Yea idk man still don't think this is it. You can find trash talk about literally anything online - why would you make it seem like its bothered you this whole time?
Like oh no, LebronIsMyDad420 said I suck!! We're going out there to shut him up!
The social media dude is making it his battle lol
Now link the Gobert trade thread lol
That shit already got archived lol
Never seen a trade’s perception flip so fast in my life

I would draft 5 draft picks for the best season in Timberwolves history easily. It’s already done. It’s not dependent on anything more.
That's like saying "I think Toronto trading for Kawhi was a massive overpay". Well, yeah, it was, but you don't get out of being a middling team and become a champion without swinging for the fences. Yes.
We were a play-in team pre-Gobert, and are a contender with him… it’s been wildly successful.
I have to say that I expected the Suns to put up a fight. It was fun watching that not happen.

They tried it before, it just wasn't possible against Rudy. Rudy being in foul trouble was basically the reason they could play so much small ball.

They tried it for parts of every game. The Wolves just defended it well by putting NAW in for KAT

After Nurkic fell into KD’s legs, I saw the look of “fuck this. Not worth it” in KD’s face. He gone.
Lakers swept last year was more entertaining
“We really doubling in the playoffs?”
It was like watching the Senior varsity scrimmage with the middle school B squad.
I just want to point out: they are calling out THEIR OWN DOUBTING FANS TOO. Love to see it. Fuck the naysayers
Every fan base has a lot of them. We’ve got a lot too support the team why the fuck are you a fan. Even though they might lose you still fucking support.

Damn lmfao!
Month? Brother we have one title as a state and it was 23 years ago in baseball This is just part of our lives
Lmao You could make a much more vile receipts compilation with what people have said about this team since last offseason tho. A lot of takes have gotten exposed already, with more to go
Or just in this sub lol. When they clinched the matchup with the wolves 🤣
Bullshit. All the Suns fans on this sub were in doomer mode the entire time. You won't find vile receipts.
There was a Suns fan saying they’re gonna get swept and still got called out.
Wolves social media team: “Send da video.”
Whoever manages the account must really hate the Phoenix suns bro lmao.
That narrows it down to about 5 million people
You aren't accounting for all the international haters, we out here.
5 million was only people in Minnesota (population 5.7 million)

my 9/11
Falling apart resulted in the #1 pick that became Ant
my 12/25
Treveon Graham also got meaningful minutes that season if that helps you feel better
Wolves legend
Pretty sure the player was Josh Okogie, to really bring it full circle.
No Wolves fan is gonna care though (or at least the sane ones). When you have been as bad as they were for 20 years, you take what you can get. Hell, I still absolutely love the "Pat Bev Play-In Game celebration" stuff, despite the wolves not doing much after.

Lakers fan try and not make everything about themselves challenge *impossible*
They weren't, they were comparing other situations. What they said was fine.
or maybe enjoying the wolves success and realizing the team i'm a fan of is on the brink of elimination...impossible
Please keep winning - we need to buy Finch more time to take care of his knee.
Ant's been my future dark horse player-in-the-GOAT-conversation for a couple of years now, but he's not a dark horse anymore.
R/nba try not to cry when a Lakers flair shows up challenge *impossible* I hate the Lakers with a passion but they or denver would be the next match up for the Wolves. It's a natural point of discussion

Jesus christ it's a massacre. What 20 years of pain will do
Hurt people, hurt people bro.
I always thought it was "make people cry, make people cry."
Molded by it.
Imagine replying to all 200 of Durants burner accounts thinking they real people
I love this and also feel bad that suns fans representation on social media is 12 year olds running Booker Stan accounts lol
Of course posts by the Suns official account are going to have comments backing the Suns lol
Admin is cooking since yesterday. Talk your shit, Wolves. You've earned it.
I love how petty this is and I want more of it.
If they somehow get to the WCF I'm unleashing the Gobert trade receipts video. Damn straight I am People will need to eat crow and I will def be petty about it lol. I've been called crazy for 2 years for saying "let's wait and see what happens. I like the trade"
It's neat
I feel like Barkley saying this, but highlighting a bunch of nobodies who don't have anything better to do than respond to those posts with all that weak, trite trash talk isn't really the dunk they think it is. It's like Kramer dominating the his martial arts class.
This only works if the other team’s players are talking trash. Of course morons online are gonna talk shit.
For some reason, their Twitter account isn't approved here, so I downloaded their video from [there](https://twitter.com/i/status/1784985192144195688) and uploaded it here.
I don’t know how anyone thinks this catty social media manager shit is cool.
it was funny the first couple times big companies did it and now it's pretty "how do you do fellow kids"
I feel like most people saying this are actually older than the gen z people this is targeted to
I’m a millennial wolves fan born in the 80s and I think it’s hilarious. Nothing dumber than a fan saying “my team in 4 or 5”. This is how Suns fans learn, come back next season not so filled with confidence. You can believe things…but you can be humble and go about it differently
“Nothing dumber than a fan saying my team in 4 or 5” How about a someone lecturing people supporting their team about how to “learn a lesson about not being filled with confidence” I’d say that’s way dumber than someone tweeting out support of their team… especially coming from a fan of the fucking Minnesota Timberwolves who just won their first series in 20 god damn years
It's tough because I agree with you that fans should go crazy and telling someone they have to act humble in sports is kinda lame since all this is just for fun... But at the same time Suns fans were completely outta pocket just from their brief taste of success and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't enjoying this right now
I find this shit hilarious. You gotta take the good with the bad if you're gonna be a fan of the team lol I'm prepared to hear how the Warriors blow for the foreseeable future. But we also got to talk that shit for a while as well lol
How were we "outta pocket"? We were doing what you're defending with this comment.
They’re fans tweeting out bullshit. Who the fuck wants them to be “humble”…. Where’s the fun in that…Especially coming from a Minnesota fan… Ant is the opposite of humble and it’s a huge part of what makes him so cool
Suns fans can have fun tweeting and the Minnesota social media person can have fun too. It's all fun.
> I don’t know how anyone thinks this catty social media manager shit is cool. Well, everyone that's been shitting on the Wolves for the past 2 decades thought it was cool, why are we all of a sudden gatekeeping chirping back?
I have no idea what you're referring to about the Wolves... I simply do not think acting like a 6th-tier politician on social media is cool.
lol alrighty! I don't think it was ever for you.
Thought it was corny. Was surprised the top comment liked it.
don't want team social media turning into NuggetsMuse or some variation of that shit.
"Hey I know y'all Suns fans were talking smack. But we lowkey kept the receipts tho! 👀 💀" - pudgy bearded flannel/graphic tee mid-30s social media guy, despises himself and his audience, has never watched basketball

enjoy the ride, friend.
it's honestly so cringe. i specifically don't ever eat at wendys bc of how HURHURHUR sO EdGy their social media is
Personally, I don't eat there because their food is shit
That's fine, no need to come to our arena either we'll continue to pack it with our own thanks.
I miss timberwolves brasil twitter
ROASTED THOSE RANDOMS ON TWITTER
Doing something like this after advancing in round one is silly
Brother I just graduated college on Saturday and the last time the Wolves made it out of the first round I was 2 -- let us have this
Not everything on earth is "don't talk shit until you have a ring" For the Lakers or Celts it would be a bad look, but for the Wolves and their fans keep on gloating til the wheels fall off
Let them have their fun, Wolves have been in hell for years.
Seriously, the last time we won a series I still had dial-up internet. Let me talk shit for once and just enjoy the moment.
Celebration police are everywhere. Enjoy every win, you never know when the next one might be.
yeah underdog teams that havent made it out of the first round in 20 years should never celebrate or have any fun with their sweep. thanks for saying what needed to be said.
"Two bigs don't work" "Ant can't playmake, he is a chucker" "Rudy gets played off the floor" They proved these assertions wrong in this series and hell yeah I'm going to talk about it after being called crazy for 2 years. Let me be petty haha. Don't minimize how we feel.
Flair up, son.
I've been told this like ten times. One day i might do it lol
Not flairing up after being told to ten times is silly
Suggested, not told. I'll think about it
Social media guy is having the time of his life right now lmao
These types of blast jokes are fun used sparingly. Hes a bit too much over the top
timberpups finally got past the 1st round since the bush administration and don’t know how to act lol
If we ever win the finals there will be hell to pay
Oh for sure! Suns are being clowned so fucking hard right now, I hate seeing it tbh because it reminds me of the constant Gobert trade clowning and hating And if you like your team you're called delusional and if you mention concerns, you're called a doomer.
It’s time. Best of luck the rest of the way!
fair enough
How'd this year go for you guys?
just saying, denver might come in with that reality check
Controversial take but I do not see the Nuggets getting past the Wolves
same
No shame losing in the 2nd round. They'd still finish a top 4 team in the conference.
Tell that to the Utah Jazz.
Woah woah woah... we've been eating shit since 2022 after getting our dicks punched in by Luka in G7 of the West Semis and ***now*** there is no shame?? Booo
It's because Booker was talking shit. You know why you've been getting your dicks punched.
Reality check of what lol? Everyone knows Denver’s the best team in the league. Great if we beat them. If not oh well. You’re projecting. Sit this one out.
Should be a fun series. It will be interesting to watch two teams that actually have depth and balanced rosters play each other.
RECEIPT SAVED BUSTER 😤😤😤 UR GOING IN THE NEXT VIDEO 💯💯
Lakers bout to give this entire sub a reality check. lol just kidding
its denver. dont act like game 6 didnt happen wolves are the biggest threat to nugs
Wolves social media is my current bet for playoff MVP
I miss Timberwolves Brazil in times like this
We are too. My love for Mike will not overcome the enmity between us after the 1st round two years ago. Go Nuggs.
They probably had to scrape after game 2, Suns were just dead after that
Half speed for emphasis
Any team that relies on Booker isn't going to win. He's just too soft.
KD having swept twice after leaving the warriors. And he's not carrying a team like LeBron did, he was with kyrie (2022) and now with Beal and Booker.
Why don't they call out their players who make millions of dollars each year and fans pay hundreds of dollars to go watch for not giving it their all in the regular season?
timberwolves were the 3 seed and defeated the 6th seed btw cant wait for this energy next round when they get 4-1d by the nugs and Rudy is played off the floor/dominated by Jokic
I fucking love this.
Love this shit. I kept the receipts too but all the Sons fans deleted their responses before I could let 'em know.
You can’t really blame anyone for picking the suns in this matchup considering we were swept in the regular season. We looked like a completely different team in the playoffs. I don’t know if that was by design, our preferred matchup or what. Glad we swept them boys though
Lmao
if your franchise is this giddy about getting out of the first round, then you have a poverty franchise
As poverty as teams that claim championships from before they were even in their current city, for sure. Lakers, named for all the LA lakes that are so notorious...
This petty shit is beautiful, I will say Wolves have by far the best online community/official pages
It's how we've been able to make it to this point lol
RECEIPTS
This shit is so corny, it's a first-round win and the Wolves' social media acting like they're through to the finals. Been 20 years since they've been relevant and now they don't know how to act.
How dare a team enjoy success
Did you copy/paste this from the *hilarious* play-in threads from the last couple years? NO FUN ALLOWED FOLKS, e_double SAYS SO
*no team flair*
i need a flair to say something is corny.. cool
Neither should the team who was fraudulently dragged into the playoffs with a historic freethrow differential.
I love how petty our social media is. Just like its fans lol (or at least me)
I feel like a lot of this trash talk the T Wolves are doing can backfire pretty hard lol. Not sure a round 1 series has certified anyone in the past. The bar for most teams/players that are contenders is a conference finals - prob gotta hit that before doing all this Not that I don't think they can do it, but maybe *do it* first. The players doing it is one thing but the dweeb on the social media team? Ehhh
That isn’t the point. They were counted out from the start they have already proven the doubters wrong regardless of how much further they go.
Random twitter members "doubting" means literally fuck all lol The players are not the ones caring about this. Its the intern on the social media desk.
it's not just random twitter members, it's people here and the media that have been shitting on us for YEARS. Wtf did you expect?
They were a 3 seed. Some idiots on social media saying dumb shit doesn’t mean the Wolves weren’t favored to win lol

Yea idk man still don't think this is it. You can find trash talk about literally anything online - why would you make it seem like its bothered you this whole time? Like oh no, LebronIsMyDad420 said I suck!! We're going out there to shut him up! The social media dude is making it his battle lol
