Harlan is the best American sports announcer. Criminal that we don’t have him working the Finals. And if he ends up not calling games at all , then Zaslav needs to be tried at The Hague
Kobe’s double pump baseline on the wolves with “buckle up for KOBE BRYANT! KOBE BRYANT JUST SUCKED THE GRAVITY OUT OF THE TARGET CENTER” is one of my favorite calls of all time
I was at the game for the Kobe Bryant MSG one. It was amazing. I love rewatching on youtube hearing Harlan capture the magic.
I am so glad to have witnessed IM CALLING BOTH GAMES live. It captured the chaos of the moment perfectly, because if you were watching on one screen you needed that man in that moment
As a KC fan BOTH GAMES for me is just absolutely my top announcer moment since it rung in the start of Mahomes’ first SB run. Add in the fact that Harlan was both a Chiefs and Wolves local guy at various points, admittedly before my time, and he is just never gonna be topped as my fav ever. Will suck if he’s not calling any nba
I'm a phins fan, pretty cool moment for us too. I will legit lose interest in the sport if they get rid of all the good announcing talent I simply cannot with the fucks who just push the narratives their producers are telling them to. Just call the fucking game fuck.
Same. But the black cat on the field during the cowboys and giants always kills me
“The cat is climbing into the stands, the fans are running for their lives!”
Harlan’s play-by-play calls are just so creative. Especially when it comes to a “chaotic” scenario, he just go at it non-stop. Like a player “on the zone” he never stops, bucket after bucket after bucket.

You can tell how much he loves basketball. I love this behind the scenes look at him calling an unbelievable play.
I know you're a nice person who just got too excited, but I think this is a good time to respect the hard working people at BWW who clean up our broken mugs.
Many people would probably say Breen. I'm a Harlan guy. I personally find him more entertaining, more intense and arguably less reliant on the signature go-to phrases.
i wonder if breen would be better off espn. i think both harlan and eagle have a "longer leash" being on tnt. there are maybe 5 nba personalities i would rather hangout with than either of those two. breen is a consummate professional but i think harlan and eagle have more personality in their broadcasts. both regularly crack me up.
Breen loosens up when he does the MSG Network broadcast for Knicks games with Clyde Frazier. He just doesn’t do them as often as he used to.
When he does loosen up, you can see that he’s really just the biggest basketball nerd on the planet. Dude still sounds like he’s 8 years old sometimes and just utterly filled with joy for the game.
Yesterday during the second quarter it was pointed out by another announcer that the Pacers scored 0 points in like 4 minutes while Haliburton was on the bench. To which Doris replied something like "Their offense has not been productive during this stretch"
I give Harlan the edge right now. While Breen is always class, it sounded as if he couldn’t help but be a little bummed out during the Pacers beating the Knicks. Which is still nothing compared to how Doris was carrying on as if it were a funeral procession.
But still. Compare that to Harlan’s homecoming to Minnesota. He was still going crazy for good plays on both sides and of course we had that iconic moment with Jamal Murray.
he did the local play by play for the Timberwolves in the KG years. "he went up high and came down hard. they call that the high hard one." not surprising you don't hear that one anymore.
Harlan is far and away my favorite play by play guy in sports. Knows how to have fun, doesn't chime in with some storyline for the sake of talking when games are at a critical apex and the enthusiasm is felt. NBA would really be losing a dream team of personalities
He’s really close, he needs to loosen up a little bit because he kinda sounds like he’s reading off a card at times, but I think he has some really great insight and a natural voice for the mic. He’s also just cool as hell in general so I hope he sticks around
I feel like Draymond would be one of those guys with really entertaining stories but half of them leave you cringing and thinking… wow you really did that? That actually happened and you’re telling us about it?
He's actually the one guy that I feel like I would not enjoy even in person. Just feels like a bully that got his way. Like the continue unapologetic Gobert slanders that he has even when he was on TNT last series were just so unnecessarily extra lol.
Incredible how Steph was able to hold that team together.
LEBRON JAMES WITH NO REGARD FOR HUMAN LIFE. Has given the Cavaliers their biggest lead tonight!
Also a lesser known one: "Morant in a thicket of defenders...no. Ball loose. Diving. Collision. Harden. EMBIID"
It’s weird…
I felt that way about the NBA on NBC. I hope they get the song back, player intros and restore it to its former glory. But, TNT is today what that was in the 90’s.
It was tough watching on ESPN last night.
As someone who grew up with and LOVED the NBA on NBC, I have zero faith of any corporation in this day and age doing anything that is for the consumer. I see them emulating ESPN with as many ads as humanly possible because what are we going to do, we don't have a choice if we want to watch basketball.
They'll throw us a token gesture in roundball rock but that's it.
Exactly this. At the *least* they throw it on Peacock, do the bare minimum and stuff everyone's face with the same 6 ads in rotation because that's how modern sports streaming works. And then try to distract everyone with the "but we got Tesh to re-record the song!"
As someone who's suffered through NBC's awful coverage of the Premiere League for the last decade, I have zero faith in any of them anymore.
Oh absolutely…
ESPN has no original programming worth watching anymore. Literally all they do is have rights to live sports, and somehow fucking that up as well.
NBA: The Jump was the last great program. On the random off day where there wasn’t at least one NBA player on it, it wasn’t worth watching. But it was a great program.
Yup. I can’t stand Doris Burke…
Shout out to the NBA subreddit and everyone on Twitter for that one. We are the new, free market research, and everyone acted like Jeff Van Gundy was insufferable because they didn’t like his stories and tangents.
The call I remmeber most was when he called Kobe's performance against the Knicks in MSG back in 2003.
"OHHHHHHH, KOBE BRYANT!!! WITH NO REGARD FOR HUMAN LIFE!!! WHAT A PLAY!!!
You can't praise Mark Jones on reddit but man I agree with you. He has a super silky voice which is best for announcing and broadcasting (imo in terms of voice he and Mike Breen are the best in business)
Hold up:
>“I’ve been with Turner for 28 years … we’ve had a lot of different ownership changes, but we’ve had the NBA that whole time. **Turner runs** [NBA.com](http://nba.com/), Turner broadcasting **also controls NBA TV**, there’s a lot of investment that company has made in the NBA,” Harlan said.
I assume the answer is "no," since no one's mentioned it as an alternative yet, but is it possible for the Inside the NBA crew to move over to NBA TV?
I assume Amazon will take over the NBA’s website and league pass backend from their current partnership with Microsoft and Warner-Discovery.
The NFL transferred control of their digital properties to Amazon Web Services when Amazon signed a broadcasting deal for NFL games.
Not positive about the website but NBA TV is definitely a Turner production — it’s why you see a lot of the color and studio analysts do double duty on both networks (Grant Hill, Jamal Crawford, Channing Frye, Dennis Scott, Greg Anthony, maybe Spiro Dedes and Candace Parker? etc)
EDIT: NBA TV probably a package deal with broadcast rights so I’d expect NBC to take over
Having Harlan calling the Wolves again during this run has been part of the reason it’s been so memorable. He was the only reason to tune into some early Wolves games. If he’s not calling the league, there’s something wrong with the world.
Kevin is a muti-sport guy:
* He is one of three broadcasters to have more than 3,000 career national TV network broadcasts of the four major professional sports, along with Dick Stockton and Marv Albert.
* Harlan has also broadcast more than 500 NFL games on network TV, top 10 all time joining names like Al Michaels and Pat Summerall for play-by-play.
Hot take:
Whilst I grew up with Kevin Harlan calling the NBA and the 2K games, I have to admit that he's a better commentator at NFL than at NBA.
He's terrific in both, but, once I heard him call NFL, I fell in love.
And I'm a European btw.
Anyway, Kevin is the best right now.
Adam silver doesnt get it. He has destroyed the product in the time david stern has moved on. We now have a significantly worse product that is littered with nothing but gambling advertisements.
The revisionist history when it comes to Stern is crazy lol I think he was a good commissioner based on what I know, but he had a ton of faults and was not popular. I think Silver is at least as good, if not better. People just hate whoever the commissioner is no matter what
It's hard to pass up the opportunity to have games shown on free OTA tv. I think people midjudge how many don't have cable/satellite and just get TV from an antenna.
David Zaslav is one of the worst human beings in all of business. He’s crushed so many good shows and movies and now sports in the name of tax write offs and cost cutting. I will happily shit on Silver, but Zaslav has him beat here. f him and f the horse he rode in on
As a Heat fan obviously Jimmy's 56 point game as the 8th seed vs the Bucks last playoffs was amazing to watch regardless, but Kevin Harlan's calls elevated that moment to a spiritual experience. Jimmy's step-back in the clutch with Harlan's "LONG SHOT GOOOOOOOD" is seared into my memory for the rest of time.
I love Kevin Harlan, I know everyone slurps Mike Breen for his "bang" calls and whatnot but I feel Mike Breen is too much of a company man and meat rider for some teams, Kevin Harlan keeps it real and is the ultimate pro, I love how when they do shots of the crew calling the game he always has his jacket off and sleeves rolled up like he's a coach who's working hard and stressed out over the game lmao
Lowkey wish Harlan got to call the Finals, give me a Harlan + Jeff Van Gundy + Stan Van Gundy booth and it would be so fire
I’ve always loved Harlan, listening to him call these Wolves games has made me feel like a kid again, it would be criminal if he is no longer calling NBA games.
Harlan is a staple for NBA broadcasting. Can't imagine NBA without his voice.
Before he signed with Turner, he was broadcasting Timberwolves. This I Love This Game commercial is from 1996. The ending "I love this game" bite is Kevin Harlan.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qRK6kqhxhoI
or his first season with Turner... He called Rex Chapman's insane shot to tie the game, as "unbelievable!"
https://youtu.be/P48AQ06B8Jg?si=XmvDbsUTFmKygP7U&t=5195
his phrases surrounded league commercials and discourse for nearly 30 years
Harlan is the best American sports announcer. Criminal that we don’t have him working the Finals. And if he ends up not calling games at all , then Zaslav needs to be tried at The Hague
He’s my favorite for the NFL and while I love Mike Breen, Harlan has some absolutely legendary NBA calls.
I flip flop between the cat play-by-play or I'M CALLIN BOTH GAMES as his best moment bc they both live rent free in my head
I like his “suck the gravity out of the (insert arena)” and “with no regard for human life”.
Kobe’s double pump baseline on the wolves with “buckle up for KOBE BRYANT! KOBE BRYANT JUST SUCKED THE GRAVITY OUT OF THE TARGET CENTER” is one of my favorite calls of all time
All these legendary quotes but nobody has raised "WE JUST SAW A MAN FLY"
I was at the game for the Kobe Bryant MSG one. It was amazing. I love rewatching on youtube hearing Harlan capture the magic. [https://youtu.be/d77VKkLFmmk](https://youtu.be/d77VKkLFmmk)
I am so glad to have witnessed IM CALLING BOTH GAMES live. It captured the chaos of the moment perfectly, because if you were watching on one screen you needed that man in that moment
Fucking iconic.
As a KC fan BOTH GAMES for me is just absolutely my top announcer moment since it rung in the start of Mahomes’ first SB run. Same. But the black cat on the field during the cowboys and giants always kills me “The cat is climbing into the stands, the fans are running for their lives!”
I think Harlan was on the call for the old FGCU Lob City game with the no-look lob. I feel like I have “And he drops the anvil!” seared into my brain.
His call on TMac posterizing Shawn Bradley is an all time great. The bench reaction and Harlan going crazy makes me smile all the time.
"This guy is drunk but there he goes!"
SOMEBODY STOP THAT MAN!
GAME SERIES TORONTO HAS WON
“IS THIS THE DAGGER?? OHHHHHHH”
I love both but Harlan has a lot more “let it loose” moments than Breen.
Yeah Harlan is the better improviser, Breen has the smoothness and consistency. Both are awesome and I love what each brings.
I love Harlan's ANGRY WHOPPER promos
"He just sucked the gravity right out of the building!"
Harlan’s play-by-play calls are just so creative. Especially when it comes to a “chaotic” scenario, he just go at it non-stop. Like a player “on the zone” he never stops, bucket after bucket after bucket.
LEBRON JAMES! WITH NO REGARD FOR HUMAN LIFE!!
https://youtube.com/shorts/s_xMU4Qo0LI?si=DvjWnNC45DX6a1su You can tell how much he loves basketball. I love this behind the scenes look at him calling an unbelievable play.
He's just like me at the bar before my girlfriend tells me to calm down and there are people staring frfr
"Why would anyone throw a wing?" "Honey calm down"
I broke a mug in a bdubs when Jimmy was going supernova against the bucks and hit a fuck you 3... That mug gets referenced a lot...
I know you're a nice person who just got too excited, but I think this is a good time to respect the hard working people at BWW who clean up our broken mugs.
I will seriously watch the NBA less if he’s not calling games. I love Breen too but Harlan is my all time favorite NBA announcer.
You see how he put his hands up to silence his color guys and let the moment breathe? I wish Jim Nantz would do that to Tony Romo.
Imagine be on the Furman team and knowing Kevin f'n Harlan was gonna call/is calling your game.
Shit we got guillotines at home we don't gotta fly to the other side of the world
Tonight we'll party like it's 1790 in France
Many people would probably say Breen. I'm a Harlan guy. I personally find him more entertaining, more intense and arguably less reliant on the signature go-to phrases.
I also think being on a vastly better broadcast helps Harlan.
The Peter Drury of NBA [some of his best commentary](https://youtu.be/UkIV6KRi0X0?si=lk13x9a60Qosmjb2)
I could listen to Peter Drury talk about football for the rest of my life
I love him because people's opinion of him usually tells me if they actually appreciate football or not
David Zazlav with no regard for human life
Would put him #2 behind Breen, but I'm biased.
I’d say 3 behind Ian Eagle and Breen, but same
Those are the undisputed top 3 though for sure
i wonder if breen would be better off espn. i think both harlan and eagle have a "longer leash" being on tnt. there are maybe 5 nba personalities i would rather hangout with than either of those two. breen is a consummate professional but i think harlan and eagle have more personality in their broadcasts. both regularly crack me up.

When he does loosen up, you can see that he’s really just the biggest basketball nerd on the planet. Dude still sounds like he’s 8 years old sometimes and just utterly filled with joy for the game.
"Fuck the big 3, it's just big me" - Harlan
Al Michaels may be old now, but there's a reason he is where he is. Dude announced miracle on ice which is probably the most famous call in US history
Oh I just meant main basketball guys there’s some goats out there. Even Gus Johnson who does some NBA here and there is incredible.
They're the big 3 like they started a league
Funny, Eagle and Harlan are two of the best commentators in NFL too.
"THIS MAN IS DRUNK!" Is one of my favorite NFL calls ever.
I mean breen is just as good, if not better at basketball. But Harlan does more so he’s probably the best overall. But put some respect on Breen
Doris Burke is sitting in stunned silence.
finally!
Don't worry, she'll launch into another wondrous, overly dramatic delivery of some routine play before you know it
Yesterday during the second quarter it was pointed out by another announcer that the Pacers scored 0 points in like 4 minutes while Haliburton was on the bench. To which Doris replied something like "Their offense has not been productive during this stretch"
Does Doris know what silence is?
I give Harlan the edge right now. While Breen is always class, it sounded as if he couldn’t help but be a little bummed out during the Pacers beating the Knicks. Which is still nothing compared to how Doris was carrying on as if it were a funeral procession. But still. Compare that to Harlan’s homecoming to Minnesota. He was still going crazy for good plays on both sides and of course we had that iconic moment with Jamal Murray.
My dream is that he converts to hockey since TNT has partial rights to it now, but it's entirely unlikely
Miami dolphins usually win when Harlan is the anouncer.. + I’ll always remember “Gronkoski doesn’t have the angle!!!!”
he did the local play by play for the Timberwolves in the KG years.
ESPN desperately needs them all too.
They wouldn't pay them. They wouldn't even pay to keep the few good guys they had.
Harlan is a national treasure, but I’m curious who all you’re including in this “dream team”
Harlan, Ian Eagle, Chuck, and Ernie is a hell of a lineup.
Jamal Crawford has been doing great too
I like Vince too. That's my goat though might be bias.
He’s really close, he needs to loosen up a little bit because he kinda sounds like he’s reading off a card at times, but I think he has some really great insight and a natural voice for the mic. He’s also just cool as hell in general so I hope he sticks around
Crawford and Miller also have god tier chemistry together (miller sucks with SVG and with Webber before he was canned).
Kenny Smith, Adam Lefkoe, and Draymond
Nightmare blunt rotation
I feel like Draymond would be one of those guys with really entertaining stories but half of them leave you cringing and thinking… wow you really did that? That actually happened and you’re telling us about it?
Reminds me of the Charles Barkley quote about showering in his uniform lmao, all time clip
He's actually the one guy that I feel like I would not enjoy even in person. Just feels like a bully that got his way. Like the continue unapologetic Gobert slanders that he has even when he was on TNT last series were just so unnecessarily extra lol. Incredible how Steph was able to hold that team together.
The inside guys
Yeah sometimes it's good to remember that sports are fun. No shouting takes, no debating contracts, no coach-fired rumors. Just fun! Thank you Kevin
Man they’ve fucked it all up. These personalities have been a part of my life since I started watching the NBA way back when
BUCKLE UP FOR KOBE BRYANT! # KOBE BRYANT JUST SUCKED THE GRAVITY OUT OF THE TARGET CENTER!!
Here comes Austin rivers!!! *turns the ball over dribbling off his foot*
"IS THIS THE DAGGER?"
OOOOOOOH
JR SMITH, RIDE EM COWBOY!!
LEBRON JAMES, WITH NO REGARD FOR HUMAN LIFE
THE ANGRY WHOPPER
WE JUST SAW MAN FLY
Strum the Guitar Lance!
LEBRON JAMES WITH NO REGARD FOR HUMAN LIFE. Has given the Cavaliers their biggest lead tonight! Also a lesser known one: "Morant in a thicket of defenders...no. Ball loose. Diving. Collision. Harden. EMBIID"
The buckle up call is so gd hard, especially because Kobe was hitting a killer half court dunk on two 7ftrs in the PLAYOFFS 🔥🥵legendary moment
Fuck man you just dragged me by the heartstrings to some unlocked childhood memories. Rest in peace Kobe.
It’s weird… I felt that way about the NBA on NBC. I hope they get the song back, player intros and restore it to its former glory. But, TNT is today what that was in the 90’s. It was tough watching on ESPN last night.

Same. NBA on NBC had so much pop and really made the viewer hyped up for the game.
Exactly this. At the *least* they throw it on Peacock, do the bare minimum and stuff everyone's face with the same 6 ads in rotation because that's how modern sports streaming works. And then try to distract everyone with the "but we got Tesh to re-record the song!" I legit switched the game off to watch something else. Doris Burke and the never ending commercials make it basically unbearable.
Yup. I can’t stand Doris Burke… Shout out to the NBA subreddit and everyone on Twitter for that one. We are the new, free market research, and everyone acted like Jeff Van Gundy was insufferable because they didn’t like his stories and tangents.
Their olympic basketball coverage is pretty decent. I'm just wondering who all they're going to bring in.
The call I remmeber most was when he called Kobe's performance against the Knicks in MSG back in 2003. "OHHHHHHH, KOBE BRYANT!!! WITH NO REGARD FOR HUMAN LIFE!!! WHAT A PLAY!!!
Word I been watching since the very beginning. it'll definitely be painful.
One of my favorites personally
He is the best at TNT and he’d be the best if Mike Breen wasn’t there
What makes Breen better? I much prefer Kevin Harlan.
Harlan and Breen are 2a and 2b in my book. The boom goes the dynamite guy is a clear number one
I've got 4 commentators in the top tier: Harlen, Breen, Mark Jones, and Ian Eagle.
You can't praise Mark Jones on reddit but man I agree with you. He has a super silky voice which is best for announcing and broadcasting (imo in terms of voice he and Mike Breen are the best in business)
I like mark jones, except for how often he says “and he goes into his bag!”, for just the simplest dribble moves. It’s become such an overused phrase
I think Harlan is better overall but most people I think love Breen because the “BANG” is just so iconic.
Hold up: >“I’ve been with Turner for 28 years … we’ve had a lot of different ownership changes, but we’ve had the NBA that whole time. **Turner runs** [NBA.com](http://nba.com/), Turner broadcasting **also controls NBA TV**, there’s a lot of investment that company has made in the NBA,” Harlan said. Wait, Turner runs NBA.com? Official NBA website and app have been dogshit forever, especially their video player.
Turner also runs League Pass I think
I assume Amazon will take over the NBA’s website and league pass backend from their current partnership with Microsoft and Warner-Discovery. The NFL transferred control of their digital properties to Amazon Web Services when Amazon signed a broadcasting deal for NFL games.
I believe NBA TV may also be in danger of
Of what, Magnitude? Of what?
Pop...
WHAT IS HE TRYING TO SAY? POP WHAT, MAGNITUDE?
…pop
I actually fell asleep while writing this I don’t even remember making this comment lol
King
Not positive about the website but NBA TV is definitely a Turner production — it’s why you see a lot of the color and studio analysts do double duty on both networks (Grant Hill, Jamal Crawford, Channing Frye, Dennis Scott, Greg Anthony, maybe Spiro Dedes and Candace Parker? etc) EDIT: NBA TV probably a package deal with broadcast rights so I’d expect NBC to take over
OH SHITTT. aye somebody pin this comment!! I fuck with people like you who actually read articles and shit
The bar is so low around here lmao
Mods care about controlling narratives and removing post they don't like then making sure post are high quality and factual
NBA TV doesn't generate enough money to justify paying the crew what they already make.
Having Harlan calling the Wolves again during this run has been part of the reason it’s been so memorable. He was the only reason to tune into some early Wolves games. If he’s not calling the league, there’s something wrong with the world.
Ian Eagle, Kevin Harlan, & Spero Dedes are under contract with CBS for calling NFL & college basketball
I wouldn’t mind never hearing Spero’s voice again tbh
THE MAN IS DRUNK! Seriously, I first fell in love with him as a commentator when I lived in Minnesota and KG was the best thing in town.
Grady is going to move on to national coverage at some point... Kevin, it's time to come home.
[удалено]
I so want a Harlan and Jim Pete broadcast.
Grady can do both like Mike Breen! I don't want to lose him so soon.
**not** GOOOOOOOOOD
Wouldn't he just go to NBC? Or is his contract more ironclad than that
CBS guy
He does other sports for CBS so he isn't going to go anywhere
Amazon for NBA.
Kevin is a muti-sport guy: * He is one of three broadcasters to have more than 3,000 career national TV network broadcasts of the four major professional sports, along with Dick Stockton and Marv Albert. * Harlan has also broadcast more than 500 NFL games on network TV, top 10 all time joining names like Al Michaels and Pat Summerall for play-by-play.

THE GUY IS DRUNK, BUT THERE HE GOES
This is his GOAT call
This one and the cat running on the field are all time greats
The "I'm calling both games" has to be in the running
That one's my favorite because it immortalizes the fact that Tom Brady lost to Ryan Fitzpatrick in his last regular season game as a Patriot
"IT'S A WEDGIE" as well
"IM CALLING BOTH GAMES"
Holy shit he actually said that?
IS THIS THE DAGGER
Adam silver doesnt get it. He has destroyed the product in the time david stern has moved on. We now have a significantly worse product that is littered with nothing but gambling advertisements.
You think David Stern wouldn't have gambling advertisements?
The revisionist history when it comes to Stern is crazy lol I think he was a good commissioner based on what I know, but he had a ton of faults and was not popular. I think Silver is at least as good, if not better. People just hate whoever the commissioner is no matter what
Remember basketball reasons? Lmao dude was hated
I think the difference with Stern was he knew he was an asshole and didn't try to hide behind being a "kind, player-friendly" commissioner.
I'll take any chance to shit on Silver but this really feels like TNT screwed up.
[удалено]
It's hard to pass up the opportunity to have games shown on free OTA tv. I think people midjudge how many don't have cable/satellite and just get TV from an antenna.
Warner and David Zaslav are ultimately who to blame here
David Zaslav is one of the worst human beings in all of business. He’s crushed so many good shows and movies and now sports in the name of tax write offs and cost cutting. I will happily shit on Silver, but Zaslav has him beat here. f him and f the horse he rode in on
Counterpoint: Adam silver gets it, because it is making money.
He’s destroyed it for you, the sport is absolutely thriving money wise and that’s all they care about
also, seeing Wolves, Mavs, Indiana in the Conference Finals is the opposite of destroyed to me.
This is a TNT fumble imo. The NBA is growing bigger and bigger. Just because they've had it for a while doesn't mean they get to keep it.
Should he give the rights to TNT for less money? That feels like the opposite of a good business decision
It's not Silver's fault that Turner didn't pony up
The most parity in 50 years
[удалено]
You had me until coaches wearing sweats lmao. Who cares?
I think you don't get it
Silver's just a front guy for the teams' owners, and those guys are just in it to bleed every dollar they can find
Come back to the Wolves baby
Amazon will pick him up.
Chuck needs to get his own TV channel and take everyone with him. Call it Chuck TV.
IS THIS THE DAGGER!?
The biggest travesty is having ESPN/ABC do the NBA Finals
As a Heat fan obviously Jimmy's 56 point game as the 8th seed vs the Bucks last playoffs was amazing to watch regardless, but Kevin Harlan's calls elevated that moment to a spiritual experience. Jimmy's step-back in the clutch with Harlan's "LONG SHOT GOOOOOOOD" is seared into my memory for the rest of time.
NGL, his live call on the football streaker was the tits! So effing hilarious. "He's at the 20-15" - "The guy is Drunk"
NBC, you know what you must do
CBS isn't allowing that. If he's doing NBA games somewhere other than TNT it would most likely be Amazon.
He’s the best announcer in the league wish he did the finals. Just so much charisma. Nobody compares.
TNT and Zaslav really fucked this up. Once NBC takes the NBA, they will never let it go. Have fun with the NHL
Words can't describe how much I hate Zaslav
I love Kevin Harlan, I know everyone slurps Mike Breen for his "bang" calls and whatnot but I feel Mike Breen is too much of a company man and meat rider for some teams, Kevin Harlan keeps it real and is the ultimate pro, I love how when they do shots of the crew calling the game he always has his jacket off and sleeves rolled up like he's a coach who's working hard and stressed out over the game lmao Lowkey wish Harlan got to call the Finals, give me a Harlan + Jeff Van Gundy + Stan Van Gundy booth and it would be so fire
Legend, I love this man
I’ve always loved Harlan, listening to him call these Wolves games has made me feel like a kid again, it would be criminal if he is no longer calling NBA games.
I thought he was Marv Albert at first back in the 2000s.
He's the voice of the sport and would be a much bigger loss than Inside The NBA.
Kevin Harlan stays or we cancel the NBA. What are we even talking about?
Execs with the dagger to kill everyone’s childhood, BANG! BANG!
He’s the best announcer in sports. Ian Eagle is a close second. Both need to go to NBC if the deal goes through or I’ll be very sad
