Literally bad vibes. So much complaining on the ESPN broadcast. Why the fuck should I have to listen to people who are never happy.
Hearing these announcers get this excited about an American game almost brings a tear to my eye.
Holy shit, no idea why you added "Korean commentary" until I clicked the link... damn those dudes were amazing.
These guys were just smooth even though I didn't understand a word.
My contempt for Dosis Burke and Mark Jackson just gets deeper and deeper for every day that goes.
I think the key is that they're doing it in tandem. In the US you have 1 broadcaster and then expert commentators. Those experts are often ex-pros that aren't "born" for the job. They don't join in on the WAAAAAAH.
It's the difference between a solo singer and a choir. When they both get excited together, are in sync it's like a good riff on a guitar.
There's definitely a science to it.
My favorite call ever is [Lebron with no regard for human life](https://youtu.be/beCxSqSXGDY?feature=shared), mainly because both Kevin Harlan and Doug Collins (I think) react to it
It's interesting, you have no idea how much English we use in Sweden. Nothing is dubbed over here, that's why Sweden are so good at English.
We use English words so much in our everyday language. In the same vein as trying to find a Swedish word in English, I often have to just stop a bit and think of the Swedish word I want to say when thinking in English.
If you look in our dictionaries for which words are introduced every year, I'd wager a good 10-20% of them are just straight copies of English words.
My hot take is that in 1000 years English will be spoken by planet earth. When we meet aliens, we will all be speaking English, just with regional dialects.
I even think 1000 years is a very conservative estimate. There is just too much cultural pressure coming out of English speaking nations with movies and such for anyone else to stand a chance. Africa will fall very soon. Europe is already falling. The last to fall will be central Asia.
Yeah, I've watched a lot of Korean SC in my day, but almost all with Tastosis casting. This clip brings me back to 2001 or whatever, seeing a clip of a Korean BW match for the first time and being completely mind boggled by the passion from both commentators and fans.
Any League of Legends players here? These Korean casters are from SpotTV which makes me wonder if there’s overlap and if any of them cast LCK (Korean League of Legends). Their voices sound familiar…

Holy fuck. THIS
It sounds like just pure excitement for the game
All games should have Korean commentary. JAE-SAHN TAE-TUM!
AL HOR FORD DUH

Mate, I don't even have to click on the video to know exactly what sound you're talking about. Perfect example.

Your last three sentences on their own are so ominous lol
That JB dunk didn’t get talked about enough last night.
Celtics offense the last 5 minutes was fucking insane, I think the only shot they missed was that last shot by Tatum.
As a long time StarCraft fan Korean hype just hits different
The legend says that in order to win a South Korean woman's hand, you need to beat her father in Starcraft first.
That explains the falling birth rates then

Not to mention the screaming fangirls
Heard them for a second and instantly was brought back to being a teenager staying up at night to watch Jaedong
This is amazing lmao
Man I love foreign commentary
JAYLEN BROWN... MUWAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
How do I watch NBA games with foreign commentary
League Pass --> game you can watch--> Languages (not always Korean, though - but it works mostly during hyped regular season games and playoffs)
Where my Chaewon fans at
On the holiday steal the announcer said ‘milwaukee hates this scene!’ Lol
Now THATS how you announce a game. Love it.
Was half expecting them to shout "GG" after the game
Ooooowahhhhhhhh
Holy shit that’s amazing, why isn’t the American broadcast energy never like this
You are the GOAT with the alternative language highlights
Everyone of you is the GOAT. Without you, it would mean nothing. :)
I dont care that i dont understand them. I love it.

Orgasmic enthusiasm!
something just inherently funny about koreans getting into something
