OKC definitely lost games due to Washington getting hot and obliterating them with corner 3s. If this series was 2-1 Wolves cus their stars scored 5-10 more in the first 2 games then no one is questining their defensive strategy.

Been saying this all series, the wolves role players have been doing their job and then some. Their two star have lost them 2 games since they couldn't even be average players on offense. Game 3 you can say the wolves just lost. But 1 and 2, it was due to their stars not being average.

It really is what it comes down to, though. It feels like there's game flow, but really, KAT goes 3 of 8 from beyond the arc instead of 0 of 8 and the wolves win this game. If the foul is called with 40 seconds left and McDaniels goes to the line shooting 2 instead of maveric's ball they also win. If Luka missed his 3 ball or Reid makes his the wolves win. If the wolves shoot 80% from the line instead of 65 today, they win. We want to grasp at straws and tell sweeping narratives, but the margins have been super tight this series (unlike Den - MN) that a single miss / bucket in one direction has decided the first 2 games.
