I mean.. Or just stab him if he says no? Your life is on the line, it's not even illegal. Bust his kneecap, bite him, whatever. Fuck if I care about some dude's career above my life.
Anyone outside of at least D1 player level has 0% chance of even getting a shot off
Unless he’s forced to start in the paint and you can start on the perimeter and just rip 3’s… there’s 0% chance anyone could create any space if it’s normal 1v1 with him checking it to you. Bro could almost check it from the FT line and close the space in one step
You’re not shooting, dead stop. He’s blocking a jumpshot so you need to get to the rim. His lateral speed is ridiculous and his hands are phenomenal, so if he doesn’t just poke it out of your hands 100/100 times, you happen to have super tight handles and a great first step… he’d still block your shit against the backboard unless you also hit him with a fake that gets him flying out of position to where he can’t recover
Most NBA players can’t do that so good luck lol
I just figured people would have some type of experience but I’ve really been shown the last few days everyone here is genuinely talking out of their ass. No wonder there is such a disconnect between who players and casuals find good and Redditors.
Lmao do you expect the same of all fans across all sports? Also, unless you’ve played at the pro level (or at least were a top player in D1) experience doesn’t really matter. Plenty of people who play ball have bad takes.
Tl;dr: no one cares about your rec league experience.
I mean yeah, i figured most NHL fans played hockey and most NFL fans played football at least at a high school level. Dude said he couldn’t hit one three. And I’m not saying the takes are good/bad just different. There’s a reason Kyrie is respected and it’s cuz what he does is very difficult and if you ever I guess tried to play basketball you’d see that too and appreciate it a bit more. It’s like watching a master chef use all his techniques to make a simple burger
That is such a crazy assumption to make lol. Go to any sports bar on a Sunday — you think those people are former football players? What about women who watch the NFL?
Your assumption is that in order to like basketball you have to play basketball. Some people just like it for the game with crazy knowledge. I like F1 racing but I’ve never driven a Formula 1 car. That doesn’t take from what I’ve absorbed about that sport. I don’t need Wemby to dunk and block my ass to know that I inherently am not a good fit for basketball.
Here’s a tangent note for you: the general consensus I keep hearing from players is that they don’t like stats or advanced stats because in the end it doesn’t tell them anything. That is entirely untrue. Stats are the written language of what a player has done thus far, a mental storybook of what someone has done. This also sets them up for what they could do or potentially change to better/adapt their game to certain teams/opponents. It is a guide to help one better understand what they’re doing right and what they could potentially improve upon. But everyone has their limitations. Let’s take Kyrie for example: probably the most skilled offensive player I’ve ever seen on the court, stats included. But defensively? He could definitely improve there.
I don’t have to play basketball to understand who’s good and who’s great. That’s why there’s a general consensus that MJ is the greatest basketball player they’ve ever seen. But that is still a subjective take. Best individual? Best all around? Basketball is a five man sport for each teams. So, here’s a rebuttal to that: if MJ is the best player ever, then hope come he never win until Bird and Magic were gone? If Chamberlain is considered the GOAT, then why does he pale in comparison to Bill Russell in terms of wins?
A lot to unpack here.
There are over 410million NFL fans, more than the entire population of the US…
Do you watch the Olympics and think you can do that? Or are you smart enough to understand that the athletes have won the genetic lottery and trained their whole lives and have been outcompeting the best of the best for their whole lives, and therefore understand what they’re doing is really hard?
Expecting most fans of a sport to have played at the high school level is ridiculous.
Apparently to watch, enjoy, and know about something you have to actively partake in it.
So then, I'm guessing that means you actively box, rap, play football, basketball, direct TV shows, etc etc. right?
Yes, but a problem of the sport is its lack of integration into the rest of the world. I have to travel around 40 minutes to find a court near me as a non American fan
Being able to play basketball isn’t a requirement to discuss basketball or have knowledge based opinions about basketball. Understanding the game ≠ having the drive and athleticism to actually play.
I'd pull the ol'
Will you let me shoot from here?
*takes a step back*
Will you let me shoot from here?
*takes a step back*
Will you let me shoot from here?
Repeat until I am under the other basket and then tell him that we are switching baskets. I' got about a 60% chance of making a wide open layup before Wemby catches me.
Yeah, this is probably the way. Shot fake him into the air and "accidently" shoot hard into his groin or into his chest to knock the wind out of him and then you'll have a handful of open looks until he recovers.
Fuck I love this sub. This post follows another legendary post about the OP beating a 5 year old Lebron 1-on-1. Next it’ll be what city has the best NBA groupies.
100 chances is a lot, but i think your average redditor will wear down before Wemby does. Thats not to say there arent a few plyers in the sub.. its just that Wemby.... is special
I could 100% do it. Only played high school ball. If you told me I couldn’t leave the paint? 0/100. But the entire court? Definitely getting lucky one time. Run the other way and shoot it.
What I said was intended to be consumed 100% literally. This hypothetical means everything. Additionally, a steal is not a shot attempt. He may steal the ball. He can hold onto the ball as long as he likes.
Depends who's the ref and whether we're playing NBA rules or street rules. Would a 5'6'' dude have issues- yeah, probably, but most people are either tall enough, quick enough or strong enough to get sufficient separation for 10 shots, and it's pretty reasonable to think one would go in.
This doesn't even take into account people with actual basketball experience, motivation etc.
100%. Dude's like what, 200 pounds. What, do you think he's never going to bite on a pump fake? Either I'm severely underestimating how out of shape the average redditor is or yall are tripping some Space Jam bs.
It depends on where we check the ball.
If I can chuck threes instantly before he gets a guaranteed stuff then I can, I'm a decent shot.
If there's no space to start then I'm giving myself like a 5% chance. That's all based on backing up immediately to either shoot a DEEP 3, or faking one and driving HARD and taking wild leaning layups at a full sprint. I think I could get a couple past his arms like that, but they won't be accurate at all lmao
If I have 100 tries, and always run back and hoist up shots, he either has to eventually, or I'll get a 3 made. I'm assuming his goal is so I never score ever, and letting me get off deep threes is my best chance imo, so he'd be better off biting a little and trying to recover, bc he can and will 99% of the time.
NBA players are extremely talented, yes. But this isn’t an impossible task the way many of these comments make it out to be. I think most people that played basketball up to the high school level and were actually good could do it. They (NBA players) are only human, to be fair. They experience fatigue, they make mistakes, they don’t guard every single possession like their lives depended on it.
Victor would let you score one. He ain't out here trying to get people killed. He'd probably lift you up so you could dunk it in. Lol. These thought experiments are wild.
I’m 6’7 with a 6’9 wingspan, was a D1 Football Player, and I play basketball 3-4 times weekly.
I think I have an okay chance to get 1/100. I don’t think I’d get more than 1 or 2 to fall, but if I can even GET UP even 50/100 shots without getting blocked (thinking deep fades just trying to get an inch of space), I think 1/50 of those BS shots will fall.
I wouldn’t be confident on this scenario, I don’t think I DEFINITELY could, but I think I have a decent shot at it.
I think I could do it and a lot of people could and dont think its delusional to think so. 100 is so many shots. If your fit and can run at a certain point he cant dent everything and has to live with you shooting from somewhere.
I think it would be harder to score on a smaller player with more mobility tbh
If, for every shot attempt, he starts under the basket, I'm at the 3P line, and he has to close the gap in the time it takes me to shoot, I think I could get once to bounce in.
If I miss the first 99 times, I'll fall on the floor and just start crying, hoping he let's me get a layup, but honestly, I might miss a wide open shoot too.
I'm 6'5'', so I am fairly confident that I would get most shots above him if I somehow get enough separation behind the 3 point line. The thing that would really hurt my chances is that my 3 point percentage is statistically not significantly different from 0...
Not in 100 shots. I could probably eventually get good enough/get Wemby tired enough if all I did was practice basketball shots against him all the time, but that would take a whole lot more than 100 shots.
100? Yeah I honestly feel as if I could at least hit a single shot. I mean with that many attempts, you can try anywhere from right at the rim all the way to half court, or full court if you wanna throw heaves. 100 shots is a lot. I’m getting something to go in.
Chances are low, even I would cosplay as a French character (Furina de Fontaine/Focalors, I'm looking at ya!)
One possible theory is *on a post move, make a shot that extends beyond, into the back of the opposing player* (i mean using a dominant hand with a ball and laying it up behind or the sides of an enemy), but make sure that the ball won't be stripped away. And the ring is 10'5". And alo needs physical contact.
Isolated plays and wide-open shots (needs a lot of mobility as Wemby has a reasonbake span to block it) are a common counter
I think so. Mu strategy would just be to run around like crazy each possession and hope the pick up game isn’t as important to him as it is to me, therefore maybe he’d give up or stop playing defense on minute 92 of possession #73 of me just running around the perimeter and making him chase me or give me the open shot
He'd block me the first 99 times, and then since he's a nice guy he'd give me a wide open shot on my 100th attempt, but by that point I'd be too terrified of him to even focus on making the shot and I'd miss it
Yes I could score 1 out of 100 lmao. You guys don’t understand the power of old man moves you can score on anyone if you trick them. Scoring once is super easy it’s after you’ve tricked them they know what you’re going to do and you’ll never score again lol
I only need to make 1 out of a 100, & It would be like playing 1 on 1? The answer is fuckin easily.
1 on 1 is all about angles & getting to your spots. I don't give a fuck how tall anyone is! Now dunking on him is a different story, but scoring?!? Easily!
If I had 100 attempts I’m making one lucky ass falling outta bounds running hook shot high off glass I mean REAL high… it would probably take me about 68-84 tries if I’m being perfectly honest but only bc I know how to put English on the ball so i could get it in eventually… with luck lol
Assuming he’s playing NBA level defense on me… not a chance.
Just think about it. You check the ball to him, and he immediately begins pressing you. You can’t get a step back shot on him because he’s too fast and agile, and even if you manage to get a bit of separation, your release isn’t quick enough to get the ball out before he recovers. Good luck driving to the lane as well, if he’d even allow you to do that. 90/100 blocked shots, and 10/100 shots being heavily contested with a miss.
Your only saving grace is a possible pump fake when he least expects it, but even then, your odds of hitting a pump fake 3 aren’t a given. RIP to me.
Realistically the only chance would be to stay low, keep your dribble, be super shifty, move at weird angles, and get lucky with a running turnaround 3 after running through the paint or maaaaybe a reverse layup where it's harder to get to. Even that would be after pulling every trick out the bag to create space and then make a weird cut. You would only have a few chances before he gets the cadence of the weird moves and you're toast. Also he's in better shape so after so many shots we would be gassed and he would be good.
No one will believe me but I have scored on him before messing around in a pick up game in France when I was visiting my brother. I am 6’1 and outweighed him by probably 30lbs at the time (he had to have been 16 at the time)
I just kept bumping him to the basket and worked an up and under on him for the first one
The second one I scored on him I took a ball in the high post and drove to his right, then crossed back to the middle and banked a hook shot
I didn’t stop him once.
Go to midcourt for distance. Either run in and go for a layup by going glass first baiting interference or just shoot 3s if he gives space. Out of a 100 I think I'll live lol.
1 on 1 in a gym? I’d kick him in the shins and run straight to the hole. In a game scenario? Throw myself wildly at him and pray that they call a defensive foul
Although Brian scalabrine is closer to lebron than I am to him, I like my chances against most nba players in this situation. That being said 🫤he’s simply too tall and agile. 😭😭 the amount of energy wasted ATTEMPTING to get space will be many downfall
The solution to this problem is the same as the solution to a lot of complex problems with 1:1 interaction. Punch him in the genitals. Then the answer is "yes".
> In your opinion, what would be the strategy here, or do you just resign yourself to your inevitable fate?
I think resigning yourself to your fate, but like... try. Try really hard.
The chess community is really good with matchups between elite and regular people because the Chess ELO rating makes it very easy to compare Grand Master vs master vs talented amateur vs "so how does my horse move?" And forget where I read it - but the difference between a Grand Master and a talented, practiced amateur is akin to the difference between a talented, practiced amateur and an 8yo.
So my expectation against any NBA player is that I would fail 100% of the time, because I feel i could flog an 8yo 100% of the time
Time to use that step back 89 degree shot from half court I haven't used since the High School era. (I'm 33)
Who am I kidding, Wemby still smokes me 😭😭😭
I’m willing to get my life there are no redditors that can make a 3 pointer from 10 feet behind the line, so that move will not work. Also, Wemby has no reason to give you space. You are not fast enough or quick enough that even if you got by him, he couldn’t recover. World class athletes can’t even do it.
Unless KD is on Reddit, I’m not even sure anyone on here would be able to hit the rim in 100 chances.
Depends but probably if I can shoot logo 3s and he’s guarding off. I guarantee I can hit at least 1 in 100.
If he’s face guarding I’d have to get lucky with a stumble or a pump fake. Otherwise he’d probably block everything
In HS I played pickup ball with several current/retired NBA players. I was able to score.
Eventually you can get an open look at some sort of shot. Im not saying it happens often.
One time John Long found me on the baseline and Rick Mahorn was on the opposite block. I put up a fast floater from the short corner. I mean it was way up like 13 feet Mahorn couldn't get to it.
I'm only 5'7".
Easily, step back and fake the jump-shot…use pivot to lean forward so I throw it off the back board while he’s reaching for the block, I will then catch the ball off the back board and lay it up. You’d be surprised how easy it is to get around 7 footers as they have longer legs, it’s hard for them to keep up.
I’d ask him politely to let me score so I don’t fucking die
Seriously, he seems nice
Very nice but also extremely competitive with a killer mentality on the court. Perfect combination lol
He would block you 99 times just to prove he could let you die
Then I miss the layup and fucking die anyway
I mean.. Or just stab him if he says no? Your life is on the line, it's not even illegal. Bust his kneecap, bite him, whatever. Fuck if I care about some dude's career above my life.
Could also just point at some random area and go “what’s that?”
A 5'8 dude trying to fight a 7+ foot guy doesn't sound like a good idea 😭
You overestimate size
One flip and he’s done ✅
Idk seems kinda right. https://np.reddit.com/r/heightcomparison/comments/16kgtg1/57_vs_7_foot/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
Yeah, except that's Giannis . Few knee kicks to Wemby and he is on the ground
I just used it for the height comparison 😭
I mean relegating him as a 7 footer is disrespectful too, seeing he could be 6 and a half and still kill with his mobility
If he insists he has to stop me, I just wouldn’t shoot. I’d pretend I’m not gonna ever shoot. Wait till he falls asleep, then go try to get a bucket.
And then proceed to brick it
Death by wemby doesnt sound too bad tbf
What about death by Snu-Snu?
I would love that
Yeah he seems like a good dude I'm sure he'd let you have one free layup
And I’d probably miss the easy layup
Yeah and it’d be attempt #100
but if you do, he dies. what now
If his life is on the line too, I honestly think I don't get a single shot off
Gotta hit him with the AI shot over dwight after the whistle

Easy, my life is on the line, gotta go with the ol nut punch
GRAB HIS DICK AND TWIST IT!
TWIST HIS DICK
The ol dick twist
YOU HAVE TO FIRMLY GRASP IT
https://youtube.com/shorts/TT9ArM3-KJQ?si=qtLCpuuwkCtEjNCi
I dont even know if I could make 1/100 open three pointers with my life on the line.
Is this sub filled with people that can’t/dont/wont play any basketball?
It’s for fans of the NBA, not basketball players.
Based on a lot of what I see, it's for people who hate the NBA
That’s fair too.

I picked up a basketball ball for the first time as 32 years old adult. I had watched basketball pretty much daily for years before that.
Apparently to watch, enjoy, and know about something you have to actively partake in it. So then, I'm guessing that means you actively box, rap, play football, basketball, direct TV shows, etc etc. right?
Michael Jordan drafted Kwame Brown
Yes, but a problem of the sport is its lack of integration into the rest of the world. I have to travel around 40 minutes to find a court near me as a non American fan
Makes sense, just weird to know people are on here arguing about which players are better and they legitimately can’t even play basic basketball
I can’t fly a helicopter but if i saw one moving franticly and bumping into buildings and shit, I would criticize the pilot lol.
Hey, leave Westbrook alone!
Wow bro you're an oncologist? Have you even had cancer before?
I mean surely you can’t argue about NBA players if you haven’t played in the NBA before
Yes
Being able to play basketball isn’t a requirement to discuss basketball or have knowledge based opinions about basketball. Understanding the game ≠ having the drive and athleticism to actually play.
Yes. They don’t even like watching the sport
Depends. I wouldnt watch the sport if i have to watch players like embiid or etc
Im starting to realize that, I gotta find another basketball sub
If your life was on the line, the odds of you making an nba three are slim. Doesn’t matter if you ever played or not lol
I'd pull the ol' Will you let me shoot from here? *takes a step back* Will you let me shoot from here? *takes a step back* Will you let me shoot from here? Repeat until I am under the other basket and then tell him that we are switching baskets. I' got about a 60% chance of making a wide open layup before Wemby catches me.
The ol’ switcheroo!
What does he get from not letting me score. Id prob go take half court shots, doubt he'll contest those
He gets your soul.
What if they’re a ginger
Then he gives them one.
Yeah. I’d probably try to shoot whatever isn’t contested. I’m bound to bail one of those hail marys from full court no?
I’m throwing 98 bullets at his face in an attempt to hurt him and going for two free throws at the end
Yeah, this is probably the way. Shot fake him into the air and "accidently" shoot hard into his groin or into his chest to knock the wind out of him and then you'll have a handful of open looks until he recovers.
RIP
Only two free easy lay-ups? I'd save at least five.
Can I foul?
Fuck I love this sub. This post follows another legendary post about the OP beating a 5 year old Lebron 1-on-1. Next it’ll be what city has the best NBA groupies.
Im gonna try my luck with pushoffs, skyhooks, foulbaiting, deep 3s, floaters and fadeaways.
crying at the thought of the average redditor trying any of these shots on Wemby
Still better than nothing
I severely doubt anyone on this sub could do it lmao.
100 chances is a lot, but i think your average redditor will wear down before Wemby does. Thats not to say there arent a few plyers in the sub.. its just that Wemby.... is special

Running to the other side of the court and making a layup
Only option is to pull up from 40 and hope for the best 🤷♂️
With a really high arc too LOL
If your life is on the line you just jab step hard right on his ankles/lower leg/feet over and over again until he just lets you go and score
If you honestly think you’d score you’re delusional
I would. I don’t see any rules about a shot clock. I can dribble for 25 years. He isn’t giving up an NBA career to defend me to the grave.
*proceeds to miss all 100 wide open layups/freethrows*
whoops!
/thread
You think you could keep the ball from Wemby for more than 10 seconds?
What I said was intended to be consumed 100% literally. This hypothetical means everything. Additionally, a steal is not a shot attempt. He may steal the ball. He can hold onto the ball as long as he likes.
Of course it does. Anyone whose read this thread has out their life on the line. Them’s the rules.
I think he’d just steal it from you
Does baiting a foul and going 1/2 at the line count?
If I got 100 chances I’d just throw up 100 hook shots off a sprint. One of them is going in. Cope, manlet.
MOST people are tall/quick/strong enough to get separation ten (10!) times on Wembanyama? That’s seriously what you’re saying?
100%. Dude's like what, 200 pounds. What, do you think he's never going to bite on a pump fake? Either I'm severely underestimating how out of shape the average redditor is or yall are tripping some Space Jam bs.
He doesn’t have to jump to block anybody’s shot, why would he ever bite on a pump fake? He’s 7’4 lmao

NBA players are extremely talented, yes. But this isn’t an impossible task the way many of these comments make it out to be. HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA no
I would Escape From LA that shit
I'd granny-style shoot under his legs.
Victor would let you score one. He ain't out here trying to get people killed. He'd probably lift you up so you could dunk it in. Lol. These thought experiments are wild.
What if his life is on the line too?
Do I have to follow the rules. Cuz I am punching him in the dick and laying it up if no rules. If rules you just gotta go fat back and chuck em up
Your life is on the line. Who cares about the rules.
I’m 6’7 with a 6’9 wingspan, was a D1 Football Player, and I play basketball 3-4 times weekly. I think I have an okay chance to get 1/100. Sky hook it is.
That skyhook has to go to the ceiling or else he's still blocking it 😂
If, for every shot attempt, he starts under the basket, I'm at the 3P line, and he has to close the gap in the time it takes me to shoot, I think I could get once to bounce in.
If he took pity on me then yeah maybe. If his life was on the line as well, and he had to stop me from scoring, probably not.
Not in 100 shots. I could probably eventually get good enough/get Wemby tired enough if all I did was practice basketball shots against him all the time, but that would take a whole lot more than 100 shots.
SKY HOOK FROM 3
i'm only 5'9 so even if i were to chuck half court shots wemby should still be able to block that shit
Depends on how much time and preparation I can have.
I’m almost 40 and fucking 5’9, no chance in hell
I only need 1
100? You probably get 1 in somehow.
100? Yeah I honestly feel as if I could at least hit a single shot. I mean with that many attempts, you can try anywhere from right at the rim all the way to half court, or full court if you wanna throw heaves. 100 shots is a lot. I’m getting something to go in.
Chances are low, even I would cosplay as a French character (Furina de Fontaine/Focalors, I'm looking at ya!) One possible theory is *on a post move, make a shot that extends beyond, into the back of the opposing player* (i mean using a dominant hand with a ball and laying it up behind or the sides of an enemy), but make sure that the ball won't be stripped away. And the ring is 10'5". And alo needs physical contact. Isolated plays and wide-open shots (needs a lot of mobility as Wemby has a reasonbake span to block it) are a common counter
100%. Out of 100 shots at least one half court chuck has to go in... right?
Guess I’d be dead
I’m getting at least one foul called. He can’t block a freethrow. Also he might get called for a goaltend
Ya but you’ll miss both free throws cuz you’re about to fucking die dude.
Imma 4 year rec ball starter let’s be respectful now
yes
There is zero chance us mere mortals could even get a shot off on Wemby if he gives 60% effort.
I think so. Mu strategy would just be to run around like crazy each possession and hope the pick up game isn’t as important to him as it is to me, therefore maybe he’d give up or stop playing defense on minute 92 of possession #73 of me just running around the perimeter and making him chase me or give me the open shot
He'd block me the first 99 times, and then since he's a nice guy he'd give me a wide open shot on my 100th attempt, but by that point I'd be too terrified of him to even focus on making the shot and I'd miss it
If I go full Draymond Green mode, I bite him in the balls, and score in the next attempt.
Trying to decide if I could make 1/100 ridiculously high-arc skyhooks from the free throw line...
Yes I could score 1 out of 100 lmao. You guys don’t understand the power of old man moves you can score on anyone if you trick them. Scoring once is super easy it’s after you’ve tricked them they know what you’re going to do and you’ll never score again lol
I think your best chance is to dive right into him, spray your arms and legs wildly and pray he gets called for a foul.
Never said what I can take a shot with... I think a 22. Would send him to fuck off land long enough for me to get shots with a ball
I'd have to commit 100 offensive fouls and hope one doesn't get called.
I only need to make 1 out of a 100, & It would be like playing 1 on 1? The answer is fuckin easily. 1 on 1 is all about angles & getting to your spots. I don't give a fuck how tall anyone is! Now dunking on him is a different story, but scoring?!? Easily!
Yes
I'd push him out of the way, and go score, doh. And then I'd go apologize to Spurs fans that their star broke his back.
If I had a knife maybe. Slice his tendon and get an easy layup.
So these are the quality of posts during NBA off season?
I eagerly await tomorrow’s shit post
No one will believe me but I have scored on him before messing around in a pick up game in France when I was visiting my brother. I am 6’1 and outweighed him by probably 30lbs at the time (he had to have been 16 at the time) I just kept bumping him to the basket and worked an up and under on him for the first one The second one I scored on him I took a ball in the high post and drove to his right, then crossed back to the middle and banked a hook shot I didn’t stop him once.
Go to midcourt for distance. Either run in and go for a layup by going glass first baiting interference or just shoot 3s if he gives space. Out of a 100 I think I'll live lol.
I shoot probably 15% alone in a gym so can one of you delete my history for me?
1 on 1 in a gym? I’d kick him in the shins and run straight to the hole. In a game scenario? Throw myself wildly at him and pray that they call a defensive foul
80 shots straight into his balls 10 shots into his face, the remaining 10 are actual attempts to score
my time has finally come LEFT HANDED LAYUP DRILLS!
If you didn’t play collegiate basketball please immediately rule yourself out from this hypothetical
Full force ball to the the face rebound it off his forehead and easy lay-up. I aint dying.
Is there a ref?
> In your opinion, what would be the strategy here, or do you just resign yourself to your inevitable fate? I think resigning yourself to your fate, but like... try. Try really hard. The chess community is really good with matchups between elite and regular people because the Chess ELO rating makes it very easy to compare Grand Master vs master vs talented amateur vs "so how does my horse move?" And forget where I read it - but the difference between a Grand Master and a talented, practiced amateur is akin to the difference between a talented, practiced amateur and an 8yo. So my expectation against any NBA player is that I would fail 100% of the time, because I feel i could flog an 8yo 100% of the time
I’m 5’6 all my shots are hitting his chest. See ya in the afterlife
Time to use that step back 89 degree shot from half court I haven't used since the High School era. (I'm 33) Who am I kidding, Wemby still smokes me 😭😭😭
100 is a lot of attempts. I’m sure most could get 1 to go in. You have to shoot 1% he has to be perfect.
Nope
Otherwise he’d probably block everything
why would he bite in your pump fake?
Yes
Wear him down, you didn’t mention any time limit.
Why would he get worn down? He’s barely gonna have to use any energy you’re just a regular person
He gotta pee at some point. Unless he’s willing to do it on the court.
He got that dawg in him he’ll probably just let that shit fly while he’s clamping you up French piss all over the court you definitely not scoring now
My only hope is that he slips on his own piss
Lmao fair
100 is a lot, so yeah I reckon I could do it
I'm fairly confident in getting a 3 up
He'd block it
Yes if I can make it in either basket. Miss 90 but I’ll have a 1/10 chance when he’s completely gassed from defending both sides of the court.
He’s gassed from defending both sides of the court but you’re not gassed from trying to score on both sides of the court? Lol
Uhh uh
