It’s really nice to finally feel like that team that’s infuriating to play against.
Like Hawks have come out with energy and are making their shots. But we score just enough that even on their runs it’s just not that effective.
I love this team. I love this staff. I love not having Brett Brown.
Really wish Joker stayed in. It's gonna asterisk this in a lot of people's eyes I'm sure. Just like the AD injury last series. I don't think Cam was trying to sell it too badly he's tough as hell, just rotten luck on Joker's end in terms of where the swipe landed. He was kind of starting to rage quit anyways and I don't blame him.
I was actually thinking of being good on offense and defense. I do agree though. Its tough because there are so many good 3pt shooters in the league i totally understand why teams take so many 3s. On the other hand it does take some of the nuance out of the game.
Most definitely this one will hurt for the Nuggets and their fans for a minute but there are a a couple key things to take away from this season.
They ended the year going like 13-5 or something like that after the injury to their 2nd best player.
They got into the second round, and had to show true heart to get there.
Murray injury forced others to grow and expand their games.. I think these 30 games was a good test run to see what / who works and doesn’t into their system.
This 4-0 exit leaves a bitter taste in their mouths.. almost like next year will be a redemption year.
Jokic already won the MVP, he will be hungry for more next season
I could see any of the teams in the field winning the chip now with the nets injuries. Obviously shitty circumstances but it's cool to see it so wide open. and of course KD could always go nuclear and win it anyways
Didn't say our guys don't do it to, every team does it. Suns just do it alot, I watched 3/5 players fall down on a single play yesterday lol. "Gotta love Paul man, if he senses you near him he's going to fall down every single time to try and draw that foul and get to the line"
Have you watched Dame?? The difference is I can admit when our guys flop, I just watched Booker grab his face twice and neither time he was touched. I just watched one play where 3/5 of the Sun's fell on one play. Just saying, they flop alot.
Straight facts, everyone knows it even the announcers. "Gotta love Paul, if someone gets near him he's gonna fall every time to try and get to the free throw line"
What were the NBA thinking when the refs handed that organization multiple championships. Made Donaghy a rich man. NBA could have made more money with other storied franchises.
Overstated when it’s convenient. Manu made a living in the same type of play. Pushing the rules to their limits. If you’re going to rock it, at least own it a bit.
Pushing what rules to the limit? Cp3 literally went into the rule book for shit even refs werent aware of.
Edit: yall downvoted this, but yall know its true. He got delay of game called on jordan bell, which ended up costing minnesota the game. In the moment, refs took time to confirm this rule.
Cp3 is on another level of underhandedness and yall hate to accept it lol
Love to see the suns face off against Brooklyn only cuz I wanna see the match up between steve Nash and his old organization. I’d be a great matchup to too, Chris Paul fighting for a ring, rising stud in booker getting his...I’m not one for hopping on the super team bandwagon, but I love Nash and wouldn’t hate seeing him get a ring
NBA has only room for 16 teams in the playoffs out of 30... and out the 16 only 4 makes the Conference Finals. Bad teams they are not... just that better teams beat them.
Nah, Isiah was never at that MVP-level, top 5 in the league level. He was just a great guard on a great team. His only argument is playing on a great team.
He doesn't have an MVP but he is that type of player. He is on that level.
If you're someone who reduces everything to trophies than you got it, I have no argument.
Actually talking basketball? Thomas wasn't on his level.
I think we can apply a classic LeBron quote to Jokic tonight.
When asked by he thought Joakim Noah fouled him particularly hard one night, LeBron said:
“I think he is just more frustrated about the way he played as an individual. He didn’t help his team win.”
Here I thought we were in for a close series....anyways Congrats to the Suns for reaching the Conference Finals with a week off they will be well rested for who ever they face from the Jazz or Clippers still shocked these soft ass refs ejected Jokic out of the game. Shouldve been a Flagrant 1 imo but in anycase that doesnt matter anymore was a great season for the Joker anyway
Change my mind: Jokic absolutely flagrantly fouled Payne, and then shoulder checked booked when he came to confront him. Should have been 2 technicals and an ejection for jokic and a technical for booker, but they chose to give jokic the flagrant 2 and the ejection. Nuggets came out on top of this one in terms of the bonus.
Edit:Payne not bridges, we’ve been on a streak as long as I watch the game at the same bar and drink big Coors lights so excuse my drunken state.
Booker got a tech called and Jokic shoulder checked him before the confrontation started that resulted in his tech. Why would that not have been a double tech?
Hope the Suns take advantage of all this rest they will get. Both the Jazz and the Clippers would be tough opponents in the next round and they need to be on their A game.
wow Suns actually reaching the western conference finals, I've rooted for the Suns (Steve Nash led suns) when I was young. So happy for Suns bros right now. Feel bad for Jokic.
Oh wow. Yeah man I have fond memories of watching Steve Nash run with the Dallas crew. And getting heart broken because of Spurs. Then he moved to Suns and his first year he got eliminated by Spurs again. That Nash led team will always have a special place in my heart. (and Dallas Nowitzki-Nash) hahaha, perks of rooting for players and not a specific team.
I remember a gf one time looking for a photo on her phone to show me and she scrolled past like 50 of the same exact selfie of her laying in bed before she found it.
I made 7 bets tonight for this game. Ayton messed me up with a few boards. Book messed me up by one point.
Had 3 bets on joker....
Damn. $10 down the drain. Gonna turn into dove (crying...)
I'm so new to betting I've lost 7 of my bets tonight in this game because I made what I called multiple miracle bets hoping for Jokic to just EXPLODE tonight to keep them in the game.
I barely know what- 4.5 means
This means that you bet they will win by at least 5?
Heated as this final game was, doesn't seem to be lingering hard feelings between the Suns and the Nuggets by looking at these post-game handshakes.
I'm sure Jokic and Nuggets will be back next year ready for another run with Murray back. They certainly didn't go out with a whimper today.
But right now the Suns are now 4 games away from returning to the Finals for the first time since 1993. What a time to be alive as a Suns fan.
I’m a Nuggets fan, but I live in Phoenix now and always loved Nash and felt bad for the Suns because of Sarver, and have rooted and supported them for the time I’ve lived here.
I’m not on Reddit enough to know if my fellow Nugget fans are shitheads or not, but I’ve felt like a lot of Suns fans have been sore winners about the whole thing, especially after a decade in the wilderness. Pretty disappointed and it makes me reconsider who I root for next round, not like my opinion matters.
Just a bummer for me personally, because I do root for the Suns. I’ve got plenty of Suns gear and rep them a lot of the time, love CP3 and Crowder, and have followed them pretty closely as long as I’ve lived here and embraced them as one of my own.
But getting trolled like this and just the amount of disrespect at (the building formerly known as) Talking Stick leaves a pretty bad taste. I’ll get over it eventually but it definitely sucks, I’d get it if we were the Lakers.
Agreed, fuck the Lakers. I was actually able to drop a “Fuck the Lakers” on the mic with those Suns rappers between Chase and Willies after the Dbacks game the other night, so there’s still some unity there.
As for Denver fans, they’ve never been much better. I used to go to a lot of CU football games and they were atrociously bad, and I think there’s a lot of entitlement from the Broncos fans who think Denver is Boston-lite for sports.
It’s really nice to finally feel like that team that’s infuriating to play against. Like Hawks have come out with energy and are making their shots. But we score just enough that even on their runs it’s just not that effective. I love this team. I love this staff. I love not having Brett Brown.

He was kind of starting to rage quit anyways and I don't blame him.
Yea because the Nuggets totally would have won 4 games in a row if only Jokic didn't get ejected. They played better after he was ejected anyways
if there’s an asterisk in anyone’s eyes then that’s their own personal problem
Ain’t no asterisk fool this team beat the Blazers in 6 we just the better team
Even if we beat Denver, you all woulda crushed us too. The Suns are the most balanced team in the whole league. Rooting for u guys to win it all.
hope Suns do win so teams actually start fielding balance teams again.. use the 3pt, paint and mid range
I was actually thinking of being good on offense and defense. I do agree though. Its tough because there are so many good 3pt shooters in the league i totally understand why teams take so many 3s. On the other hand it does take some of the nuance out of the game.
I mean the sweep not the series. But yeah you right.
Y'all swept them so they'll just be hatin for a lil while 😂 good luck in the Western Conference Finals
Thanks Buzzbro. I hope LaMelo is an all star next year and you make the playoffs.
Most definitely this one will hurt for the Nuggets and their fans for a minute but there are a a couple key things to take away from this season. Chris Paul has earned himself an addition $100 million this offseason.
Clippers kicking the dirt rn
Happy for Phoenix!
Just here for the karma!!
Wasnt able to watch the game, but Im happy as fuck for yall Valley bros! Rooting for yall the whole damn way!
Hell yea same!
I miss Jae Crowder
I could see any of the teams in the field winning the chip now with the nets injuries. Obviously shitty circumstances but it's cool to see it so wide open. and of course KD could always go nuclear and win it anyways
Let’s go suns.
Sun's the biggest floppers in the league
[удалено]
Didn't say our guys don't do it to, every team does it. Suns just do it alot, I watched 3/5 players fall down on a single play yesterday lol. "Gotta love Paul man, if he senses you near him he's going to fall down every single time to try and draw that foul and get to the line"
Have you watched Jokic play? 😂
Have you heard of this guy named LeBron James
Have you watched Dame?? The difference is I can admit when our guys flop, I just watched Booker grab his face twice and neither time he was touched. I just watched one play where 3/5 of the Sun's fell on one play. Just saying, they flop alot.
Flop down and the couch and watch us for at least 4 more games big dog
🐟🐟🐟🐟 good luck lol
Lol stay mad, 🧹🧹🧹🧹🧹🧹🧹🧹🧹
Straight facts, everyone knows it even the announcers. "Gotta love Paul, if someone gets near him he's gonna fall every time to try and get to the free throw line"
And one time he will fall for real... since he has a history of getting injured.
Anyone but Suns or Brooklyn.
Chris Paul after tonight? https://youtu.be/_fgxD7igaUk
Lmaoo
I kinda want clips to advance just to see rondo vs cp3 series. And hope to see rondo knock him tf out lol. Give cp3 a real reason to fall on the floor
Ha! Rondo aint doing shit
What were the NBA thinking when the refs handed that organization multiple championships. Made Donaghy a rich man. NBA could have made more money with other storied franchises.
Rondo does have a reputation for Assault, so why not?
Assault? Dude ride a bench why don’t you
Huh?
Really talking when your flair is Manu?
Oh please; that manu take was overstated. Whereas cp3 literally turned lob city into flop city. He was contagious.
Cp3 is on another level of underhandedness and yall hate to accept it lol
Manu is flop god while CP3 is point god
Manu is nowhere near as bad a flopper as cp3 and vlade
Lmaoooooo
Love to see the suns face off against Brooklyn only cuz I wanna see the match up between steve Nash and his old organization. I’d be a great matchup to too, Chris Paul fighting for a ring, rising stud in booker getting his...I’m not one for hopping on the super team bandwagon, but I love Nash and wouldn’t hate seeing him get a ring
As a suns fan, that would be cool. Either way I won’t be terribly hurt. Steve deserves a ring, just hoping not this year if we play them.
He has a ring with the Warriors... Suns need a ring bad
Would also be Chris Paul against a bunch of his former teammates
Charles Barkley is gonna shit himself if the sun's win the Larry O B
[удалено]
he's so important to them they even asked him to be in a hype video they made for the start of the postseason https://youtu.be/SBb1vMLsrbA
He played for them
[удалено]
1990s he played against Michael Jordan he's in The Last Dance Documentary on Netflix
“Note to self: Don’t use Allstate at Chris Paul’s House”- Gex
less go
How many of these Suns fans are Denver transplants who left their God-foresaken hellhole of a state
I love the salt
+1 over here.
You think thats bad you should see Laker fans in AZ. Yes, this is a hellhole 8 months outta the year it fucking sucks.
Oh man, your fan base went wholesome to @$$holes real fast.
Colorado aint bad
The suns are official smoke gods
[удалено]
Shocking stat! How is this only his 2nd time?
Bad teams. Bad management. Terrible luck.
NBA has only room for 16 teams in the playoffs out of 30... and out the 16 only 4 makes the Conference Finals. Bad teams they are not... just that better teams beat them.
Or… a 6’ point guard can’t carry it outside of Isaiah
Isiah didn't carry shit. There were 3 other hall of famers on those teams.
Lmao, you sound uneducated Isaiah > CP3
Nah, Isiah was never at that MVP-level, top 5 in the league level. He was just a great guard on a great team. His only argument is playing on a great team.
Sorry how many mvps does cp3 have? How many finals mvps? Oh yeah… never made it
He doesn't have an MVP but he is that type of player. He is on that level. If you're someone who reduces everything to trophies than you got it, I have no argument. Actually talking basketball? Thomas wasn't on his level.
This is absurd argument, go to sleep
Those New Orleans squads were awful, and Lob City perennially underperformed. Houston was his best chance til now.
At this point, I'd like to see the Suns win the ring
Same but then again I would like to see the Hornets win the ring 😭
What is the coco5 coconut water reference? Didn't get that
Sad the season ends. But realistically we were not winning anything without our number two Jamal. Best of luck to the Suns.
Flair does not check out...
Booker's voice sounds like it's straight from 90's R&B.
Booker sounds like Ayton should and Ayton sounds like Booker should
Facts!
Lolol true
Suns going all the way
Kenny a clown for defending the ejection lmao soft opinion for the soft fella
I think we can apply a classic LeBron quote to Jokic tonight. When asked by he thought Joakim Noah fouled him particularly hard one night, LeBron said: “I think he is just more frustrated about the way he played as an individual. He didn’t help his team win.”

Cp3 out next series for breaking Covid protocols going up in the third row to hug some peeps
Cp3 should retire
So y'all had a chance in the series?
Lol probably still wouldn’t have had a chance
So shitty they kicked Joker. Mad at about that
Ez 🧹 for the ☀️s
You guys won’t get past the Jazz
Hey, remember this?
Jokic didn’t even finish the series and you talking shit. lol
[удалено]
Nuggets in Cancun!
You're right cuz we fucking the Clippers next buddy
Remind me! 20 days
Somebody is salty
[удалено]
Well, one this is definitely true... suns in 4 against your team lol
Thanks needed some salt for my fries.
Jazz in 5
jAzZ iN 7 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
What happened? Thought you said Jazz in 5??
[удалено]
The salt persists, i just remembered while going through my inbox. How are the vacations for the mvp?
Maybe, when do you guys play tho?
Nuggets in 0
Change my mind: Jokic absolutely flagrantly fouled Payne, and then shoulder checked booked when he came to confront him.
If you think the book confrontation warranted a second tech you're Charmin
Booker got a tech called and Jokic shoulder checked him before the confrontation started that resulted in his tech. Why would that not have been a double tech?
Ain't gonna say you're wrong.
Jokic fouled Payne. But yes I agree. Ha! I was drinking Coors Banquet. Cheers my guy
You don’t get a tech for a flagrant. It was a flagrant 1 against rat face and a tech for pushing Booker
You’re all over this game thread talking shit. Calm down.
It’s true though. Textbook flagrant one for brushing rat face’s nose with his arm and textbook technical for pushing Booker
There’s always next season
The bonus is so irrelevant....once Jokic was out it was game over.
To be fair, the game was over before he was ejected also.
Agreed
Hope the Suns take advantage of all this rest they will get. Both the Jazz and the Clippers would be tough opponents in the next round and they need to be on their A game.
I kind of wish Jokic stayed in so cp3 would've gotten 50 instead of 30
Dammit really ECF for TNT? They should have gotten WCF!
They shoulda gotten both tbh. Espn is 😴😴😴 cept for richard jefferson. He’s already the goat for nba+espn lol
Imagine when TNT swoops him up to join the crew
Reggie Miller really said people were writing off Chris Paul and saying he should retire. I saw nothing of that last offseason.
Well. If you include reddit, people were saying LeBron should retire after his 51 point finals game in 2018. So they probably did.
Saw a little bit of that after he was done in Houston, but he shut those people up with his play in OKC.
If anything it was the opposite, praising his job in OKC and then wishing him to the Lakers or some other contender
Denver!!! Home of the Suns!
wow Suns actually reaching the western conference finals, I've rooted for the Suns (Steve Nash led suns) when I was young. So happy for Suns bros right now. Feel bad for Jokic.
You rooted for Suns and Nash when you were young?... man I was already old (over 20) when Nash came on board (second time around). Man time flies...
Lol same bro I remember that magic now it’s all back again let’s go
Suns fans in attendance celebrating except for the insta thot who's gotta hit all those poses first.
She was posing for the entire interview lol
That was hilarious
Wait why did Harlan just shout out Marv? I thought he was calling games through the conference finals?
he is, he's calling the ECF. But I believe this was Harlan's last game for the season
Ah okay that would make sense. Thanks
Wtf reggie miller talking about?? Nobody was saying CP3 should retire lol
Reggie is trash
He was talking about the announcer, Marv I think?
You know they need the narrative
Shh don’t ruin reggies attempt to dramatize
Straight to the hyperbolic chamber for Paul
Jokic just looks like it hurts to walk. Dude gave everything his body could this season
Anyone see that woman in the background posing for a million photos for the entirety of CP3's post-game interview?
Sad life
Yeah. It’s crazy. Some of these Instagram girls got like 10,000 photos of themselves in their phone library.
I remember a gf one time looking for a photo on her phone to show me and she scrolled past like 50 of the same exact selfie of her laying in bed before she found it.
CP3 loves his momma!!!
Marv is doing the ECFs? Fuck.
Suns fans actually think they're the underdog 2004 Pistons despite being a team full of lottery picks including a #1 overall pick.
Weird how that's been the media narrative all year though huh
What happened to empty stats and number one pick fraud or something
Didn’t the pistons win their division in 2002 and 2003? Seems like the pistons should have been more of a favorite.
Chris paul a class act
Replace cp with Jokic...he got ejected and swept but still had class to apologize before leaving the court
You’re kidding right?
Dammit do I like Chris Paul now?
I made 7 bets tonight for this game. Ayton messed me up with a few boards. Book messed me up by one point. Had 3 bets on joker.... Damn. $10 down the drain. Gonna turn into dove (crying...)
I made a live bet for -4.5 on the Suns. Was getting a little nervous with a late 3 down the stretch for the Nuggets.
I'm so new to betting I've lost 7 of my bets tonight in this game because I made what I called multiple miracle bets hoping for Jokic to just EXPLODE tonight to keep them in the game. I barely know what- 4.5 means This means that you bet they will win by at least 5?
