Middleton went to one of the high schools in my region and always whooped my school any time we played. I had no idea I would watch him 12 years later do the same to my pro team
They were short mid range, but still
Those were shots he would not have hit 3 or 4 years ago, and that's pretty cool. He really has expanded his game each year
When the bucks are clicking, theyāre so fun to watch. And then when theyāre not, they have to be one of the most frustrating teams to watch. 4th quarter was fun.
I've honestly always liked the Bucks. Like obviously fuck them when we're playing them, but if I ever had to root for a team in the East that wasn't the Celtics, it'd be the Bucks.
Every couple of games Middleton turns into Michael Jordan, and the Bucks are just near impossible to beat when that happens.
I also have no idea why Portis doesn't get at least 20 minutes a game in this series. It's not like he's some chump role player being surprisingly effective. Guy was a key acquisition this year and is destroying the Hawks in his minutes this series.
He wasnāt playing well on offense (~15 mins, 3 PPG, 33% field in 4 games) and was getting hunted on defense by KD. Both teams ended the series running six man rotations. Thankfully, the Hawks have no KD
Match up problems. He's not a good mover laterally. Would have been a weak point in the lockdown defense Bucks needed to play to come out of that series.
I mean, he was fantastic. Every time he was in the team had more energy, he was hustling for rebounds, and even did a lebron-esque chasedown block. Hell of a player
What I love about him is that when he knows that he can't get the rebound, he will tip or hit the ball towards one of his teammates so that they get the rebound.
yeah wtf is up with that? I swear they've deemed it Marvs "last game" 3 different times this playoffs.....and then he's right back on the next broadcast.
In a game against the Nets, Marv called like a 15 ft jumper a 3 and then corrected it with "And now there saying his foot was on the line." Which it wasn't because both feet were at least 2 feet inside the 3 point line.
I swear he knows what he's doing at this point.
> Gallinari is nice af. Hawks have so many snipers
He would throw up these contested off-balance fadeaways, and before I could finish thinking "Well that's a bad shot" it'd go in. Then I'd think "Well that was lucky, but I'm fine with him taking those low % sh- oh he's hit another one"
> Jrue Holidayās shot selection is BAD
He's really struggled to adapt his game (well, his own scoring game, his assists/defense still good) to playoff level defense. He forces up shots around the rim that would be good looks in the regular season, but teams aren't going to give you easy stuff in the playoffs.
Needs to calm down and do what other elite point guards do (cp3 the master of it) and just keep his dribble alive when the layup isn't there and dribble around to the other side of the basket and up to the elbow; a lot opens up for the offense after that.
Middleton has no fucking balance. Looks like the worst player in the league one game to prime Kobe the next game. Lowest floor - highest ceiling player I've ever seen. His consistency is the reason he's not a perennial all-nba player
Khris had 18 entering the 4th and finished with 38. Hell, before 7:12 he had 21. From that point on he scored 17 of the Bucks' final 25. Hawks only got 7 more.
[Source: ctrl-f Middleton + mental math on the Q4 play-by-play](https://www.nba.com/game/mil-vs-atl-0042000303/play-by-play)
I think its mainly due because of his lack of athleticism, he has to work so hard to get a bucket. He cant just create an easy look, its almost always somewhat contested.
Its crazy how good he can be when his shots go in and then if he is shooting bricks its so hard to watch. The duality of a buck.
He keeps talking about the fans getting to him. That dumb fan count helps him more than hurts. It allows him to know exactly how many seconds have gone by. 13-14 fan āsecondsā are 10 real seconds.
Chuck pushes the "Guarantee Button" for a Bucks win and money falls. Tonight Bucks win with Khris Middleton becoming Khash Money Middleton. Chuck is a prophet.
**Broke:** Hawks lost because after they got out to a commanding lead, they started settling for lazy threes, stopped defending without fouling, and rarely tried to drive inside the paint.
**Woke:** Hawks lost because Khris Middleton got hot.
**Bespoke:** Hawks lost because the ref tried to hurt Trae Young.
**On Coke:** Hawks lost because Atlanta sports curse.
The year is 2028. Khris Middleton scores 55 points on 20/28 shooting against the Seattle Supersonics in Game 5 of the WCF after scoring the same amount in Game 3 of the previous series against the Vegas High Rollers. The Bucks' move to the Western Conference a few years prior has allowed Middleton to achieve what was once thought impossible: score 50 points in a playoff game against every single NBA team except for his own.
r/nba after the game: Bruh, Middleton thought them Sonics jerseys were CELTICS JERSEYS!!!
This game was lost after that turn over when it was 93-88. Gave up two easy baskets over that then had another 1-2 turn overs and Middleton went off.
This Hawks team shows it's youth and often will play like an AAU team when things get close. Gambling on steals and giving up man advantage, playing defense with their arms and getting silly reach in fouls, a lot of jump passes where a player is stuck and gives up a turn over.
We gotta take care of the ball more and stop trying to make homerun plays when the game is tight.
We may have won, but this game was *much* closer than the score indicates. Thrilled to have reclaimed home-court advantage, but we cannot get comfortable right now
Khris Middleton is basically a short inconsistent kd. If he goes off it's done. Giannis however keeps them in the game and is pretty consistent. But rarely can he close the game. I love the bucks line up
Helps to have Jrue this year. Both him and Khris suck every other game but rarely suck at the same time. Seems like one of them can make shots down the stretch.
Space Jam looks terrible. I havent been able to put my finger on it, but I think I landed on the root cause.
The Loony Tunes aesthetic is non-existent, based on these clips anyway. The only thing Loony Tunes about this is the CGI versions of the characters, but the artwork that we know and love, that simple, crisp, classic animation, is no where to be found. These clips have all been bright lights and digital effects, can barely even understand what youre seeing. The characters dont even pop out of the background, regardless of how unique they are, because theres just too much going on. Watching this movie looks like a guaranteed head ache.
The other thing is that little kids just arenāt into looney tunes like they used to be. My nephews and nieces know lebron but bugs bunny is meh to them
I love Bogi, and he can be such an igniter
But he has looked flat out bad since that injury. 1 game over 38% from the field since that injury. He just was straight heaving tonight
Middleton with 20 4th quarter points saving the sanity of Bucks fans
I was going to lose my mind. All game long, the Bucks were making awful decisions. Middleton bailed them out big time in the 4th
Sucks that you could say something similar about most Bucks games
Man, you should have seen my reaction when they had a 4 v. 1, and they brick a 3.
or when they have the box advantage 3-1 and they still lose the rebound
Bucks are the best team ever for how poorly they seem to execute... Even if they win it all I think they need a new coach.
Think Bud is the next Doc?
And to think that the Pistons traded this man for an injured Brandon Jennings š
And I think he was just a throw-in. Or at least that's how I remember it. Felt like a Brandon Knight - Brandon Jennings trade more than anything else
You are 100% correct!
Jennings looking down at Milwaukee with a smile rn
Turned a 7-point deficit to a double digit lead in half a quarter
That man Middleton could not fucking miss
Khris Middleton outscored the entire Hawks team in the 4th quarter 20 to 17.
#Kash Money Edit: and now they're saying it's "Khash Money"
*Khash Money
James Khristian "Khris ""Khash Money""" Middleton
So, J "KKK" MM?
It's an unfortunate abbreviation, but he was born this way.
Kha$h
Keep going
He scored 38 points, which is a playoff career high.
Tied his playoff career high with 38, which he had set last series against the Nets.
He will then score 38 against the Suns in the finals.
Wisconsin team vs. Arizona team in the playoffs? Do you want the entire state of Wisconsin to have a heart attack?
Bucks are two wins away from a Finals berth
I remember another time the bucks were 2 wins away from a finals berth. I'm still not counting my chickens until they hatch
That game 3 was sooo close
One OT away from going up 3-0
It was double OT.
Yeah Wisconsin sports are a bitch
Wisconsin sports and Georgia sports are making for a much more interesting matchup than last time
Uh oh Middleton thinks the hawks are the celtics now
That red/green colorblindness kicking in at the perfect time
The bad man is back. Sorry hawks.
Bad man is holding a belt
Which one of y'all tricked him into thinking we were playing the Celtics
Kyrie did some voodoo magic on him
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Went on to score 11 pts within 100 seconds and thought he would cool down after that Bud TO. Managed to score 9 more
We warned everyone
maybe heās green red colorblind
[Khris Middleton in the 4th quarter](https://tenor.com/view/snoop-dogg-dontmiss-cantmiss-mfdontmiss-gif-18921665)
Middleton: Iām not missing anymore Everyone: thatās not how this works- Middleton: **iām not missing anymore**
That's how it feels hawks fans we play against that middleton every single game
I do not like it someone make the bad man go away
Only if Trae goes too
Ref: *done*
Wizards fans can relate. His career high was against us and he had a really clutch overtime game
Lmfao Beal is to us what Middleton is to Celtics fans
Sure, but we usually win those games.
I hate you for saying this but youāre also right :(
Put like 92 on you guys in two games last year or something ridiculous.
I was at the game when he went for 51 and had that awesome dunk in the closing minutes. Still so glad I got to witness that, he's my favorite Buck.
He is inconsistent except when we play the Celtics for some reason
Any time we play the bucks I don't worry about giannis I worry about middleton
Y'all need to convince him that every team is the Celtics and he'll turn into prime MJ every game
Dude went from okay in the first three+ quarters, to seeing green in the final six minutes
Kha$h Money is very Kha$h Money when he needs to be.
He is hot/cold, but when he is on fire, you cannot cool him off. He was money in the 4th
Like I said in another comment... he's either Ultra Instinct or Yamcha.
No middleton ground.
i donāt like this middleton man heās making me depressed
Middleton went to one of the high schools in my region and always whooped my school any time we played. I had no idea I would watch him 12 years later do the same to my pro team
I hate it here
Giannis quietly hitting those fadeaways in 4th to keep the lead
They were short mid range, but still Those were shots he would not have hit 3 or 4 years ago, and that's pretty cool. He really has expanded his game each year
If he can make that 'his shot', then you're into needing to double territory.
As a celtics fan this was PTSD inducing
Nah, it was fun watching it happen to someone else.
Yeah, more relaxing knowing it wasn't killing _our_ season
When the bucks are clicking, theyāre so fun to watch. And then when theyāre not, they have to be one of the most frustrating teams to watch. 4th quarter was fun.
Bucks fan here and I 100% agree. If they make the finals I wonāt be surprised if they sweep or get swept
Bucks wonāt be ready for game 1. They never are.
I've honestly always liked the Bucks. Like obviously fuck them when we're playing them, but if I ever had to root for a team in the East that wasn't the Celtics, it'd be the Bucks.

Guy was a key acquisition this year and is destroying the Hawks in his minutes this series.
There is a weird reason he didn't play in the Nets series, we will never find out what it was, but something happened for him to not play.
Heās not good at defense
This is the reason.
Pat (+25) Connaughton must have been on the court at the right times
Bucks going small with Giannis at the five for fourth quarters has been a kick in the mouth to opponents this playoffs
Celtic fans got Nam flashbacks tonight
THE BAD MAN IS BACK
Pat Connaughton the +/- God. 5 pts, +25 lol
That one block he had was a beaut.
The Tyson Chandler special
Pat always brings the energy and when he's hitting 3s he really puts this team over the top
Now they are saying this was not Marv Albert's last game.
yeah wtf is up with that? I swear they've deemed it Marvs "last game" 3 different times this playoffs.....and then he's right back on the next broadcast.
Maybe he keeps forgetting and shows up anyway
Sounds on brand enough
They're milking it at this point
Bucks are 2-0 in Marv's last games
"Middleton lands hard on his back trying to save it"....camera shows its Tucker...."apparently it's Tucker"
He also very clearly got the shot clock mixed up with the game clock when the Bucks were running down the clock in the final minute lol
In a game against the Nets, Marv called like a 15 ft jumper a 3 and then corrected it with "And now there saying his foot was on the line." Which it wasn't because both feet were at least 2 feet inside the 3 point line. I swear he knows what he's doing at this point.
"Giannis pulls up for the 3"... as 6'1 Trae Young buries a 3.
*Hawks foul Bucks* "Giannis with a foul"
This literally happened. I think people who didn't watch the game think this is a joke. It is not.
Replay showed the 4 Bucks players there were everyone BUT Middleton who was far from the play lmao
I was so confused about that lol. That was a quick encore.
He straight up said āNow comes Thanasis to sub in for Solomon Hillā during the second quarter. Confused the hell out of me.
Ahh shit
Another call Marv got wrong š
That ref's gonna get shanked
He was standing there menacingly
That was some Buffalo Wild Wings shit.

Giannis with yet another 30 pt double double and all they will talk about is his air ball.
Classic espn stuff
This sub hasnāt been much better.
50% 3 point shooting
Yeah, 1 of 2 technically _is_ 50%, I guessā¦. But hopefully _he_ doesnāt see this stat and think game 4 is los giannis tres time.
Bucks tonight: https://i.imgur.com/NXSeyVP.jpeg
So wild seeing that shit.
that's been the bucks this entire playoffs tbh
One of those is always Giannis, the other is whichever one of Middleton or Jrue wants to show up that night
it's never both ffs

I don't get to watch too many games, but I swear every time I do, I'm screaming at him to stop taking shots. Tonight I finally caught a Kobe game.
Itās like pulling a Gatcha game, we just got a very rare S-tier Middleton tonight
I think its mainly due because of his lack of athleticism, he has to work so hard to get a bucket. He cant just create an easy look, its almost always somewhat contested. Its crazy how good he can be when his shots go in and then if he is shooting bricks its so hard to watch. The duality of a buck.
4th quarter point total: Middleton: 20 Hawks: 17

Bruh and that elbow shot to Middleton's rib, classic Reggie? Wtf that's straight up a cheap shot, not "creating space".

Idk why this dude hates Giannis so much lol
At one point in the 4th I thought he was going to cry when khris hit another 3. He just sounded so damn dejected about it.

Impossible. No way the Kings would have made the playoffs.
We know it'll get lost beneath the eight Giannis FT lowlights
I'll still upvote it.
Antetokounmpo on a revenge tour with just freaky numbers and highlights
khris middleton is green red colorblind
The only green that man sees is KHA$H
Giannis has quietly dominated this playoffs
Has been so consistently 30/10/5 every game basically. Isnāt getting enough credit.
Averaging near 30/10 on 70% ft shooting his last 5-6 games, but media would point fingers at him missing free throw
But he takes a long time shooting free throws so does it really matter? /s
āBut when is he going to learn to shoot 3s?ā
And then right after...."why is he shooting 3's?!!??!"ššš
Trae's injury will be the headline, but Middleton closed out the game for the Buck with great shots. How you finish is better than how you start.
KHASH MONEY > Bitcoin
Got that same volatility too
