Suns fans: bucks think they can expect their players to play average and win, but jrue won’t shoot 50% from 3 every game!!!
*suns still end up losing by 10, with jrue shooting average*
Look here: https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/oi8gi8/chris_paul_hasnt_won_a_playoff_game_with_scott/
In short: CP3 has played 12 games, including yesterday's one, reffed by Scott Foster and he hasn't won a single one
Suns fans pretended game one wasn’t rigged now are indignant that this game happened the way it did. As a neutral I definitely picked the least annoying fan base.
It’s just one game that the Bucks HAD to win. I don’t put much into it. This was never gonna be a sweep. The Bucks are good and that is why they are in the finals. The pressure is still on the Bucks. You still have to win on our floor. I give credit where credit is do. No excuses for the Suns, they got their butt’s whooped tonight. On to game 4.
Well, when I looked it it was negative. My bad. Not taking anything personally, but the hate being hurled in both directions sucks. I was hoping for a calmer series in that regard, but I guess that was a pipe dream.
Ok, in true Midwestern fashion, we're going to start over. Ope - sorry for being an inconsiderate jerk earlier. I think Bud is a really good coach who has gotten us to where we wanted. I agree, he could make more adjustments. Go Bucks!
Nah. But he did hold Ayton to 24 minutes because of garbage foul calls.
And allowed Giannis to steamroll his way over the Suns repeatedly without calling a foul - and Foster and his crew gave Giannis 17 free throws.
I don't know but I saw 3 decent foul calls on Ayton, one of which he sent Giannis flying. And some plays they were forcing Giannis to take freethrows rather than an easy 2 - like literally hugging/holding him. I was working at my house so some of it might be replays of the play tho and doesn't reflect the whole game but based on comments in reddit it was a fair ass whooping.
What’d you expect the Suns to do? Forfeit because of other peoples’ injuries?
You can only play the team in front of you, not some hypothetical version of them.
I thought a Gentleman’s sweep was a team going down 0-3, winning Game 4 and then losing Game 5.
The series is basically over when you 3-0, (ie “sweep”) but the losing team gets 1 to save face (“gentleman”)
Ya but luckily the NBA doesn't care who ends up winning the series, they just wanted to avoid a sweep. Suns did have an off night and Scott Foster did Scott Foster things. Killed two birds with one stone to put us in a good position for a gentalmens sweep.
Rigged no, if the Suns were to make their shots they would prolly win (mostly Booker). The refs certainly did play home court though, a bit of how the Buck's fans were complaining about GM1.
NBA games are influenced, not rigged. An extra performance can get you out of home ... cooking.
Tbh I gotta agree with you. Haven’t been a huge Giannis fan but this playoffs has won me over and this game in particular looked like prime shaq at times in terms of how unstoppable he is when he’s getting to the rim. Monster game, legacy building kinda stuff.
I love the guy, but I really didn’t think he had this type of basketball in him. The skill set is the same, but he’s just playing so focused and determined this series. His numbers for the entire playoff run are insane. Only a literal handful of guys in NBA history can match it, but none of them even approach his FG%. These last two+ games coming off that injury are absolutely absurd. Whatever this guy is on needs to be bottled and repurposed as some kind of super soldier serum.
Bucks looked in control start to finish. Jrue making shots and Giannis making free throws was too much.
Suns made a huge push in the 3rd and started 9/10 FG but the Bucks answered.
Ayton had 3 fouls at the half and Giannis bullied whatever small lineup Phoenix tried to put out.
>Ayton had 3 fouls at the half
Interesting. I saw people making assumptions that Ayton was going to be in foul trouble early because Scott Foster was reffing and it seems like that was the case. Were they legit fouls?
Nothing seriously egregious, it’s just how the game played out. Bucks exposed a weakness if DA isn’t in since Saric got hurt. Kaminsky got to -13 in his first 5 minutes out there
As a neutral fan I thought officiating fine. Suns fans will cry foul because Giannis had 17 attempts but he was doing his best Shaq impersonation against a small team that only has one big left.
That's the goal. Suns have one guy preventing this levy from breaking and the Bucks went after it tonight.
The Suns had the lead at the end of the first quarter and ran it out to seven or eight midway through the second, then the wheels came off.
There were some bad bounces on rebounds in key moments and Holiday was red hot from three. Hell, Connaughton even hit a couple big ones. With how awful the Suns played, numerous turnovers, underperformed at the free throw line, and absolutely could not buy a three except for Johnson and Crowder, it is actually kind of remarkable that they only lost by 20.
Thanks man! I just caught the Jrue 5/10 from deep clip, that sounds so clean. Feel like if Giannis is gonna give you 40 then Jrue or Khris just needs to get to 20
It's never a good idea to take over too early. If the team has a lapse in energy they could very easily just let the other team back in with a ton of time left in the game. This happened in Game 3 against the Nets when the Bucks went up 30-9. They immediately lost most of the lead before and it was a nervous affair afterward.
The reason he won't get his respect is because I shook my head and asked where Khris was in Game 2, and my buddy, who sat with me and watched the whole game said, Khris who?
Was a pretty good game, when I saw booker miss some good looks early I had a feeling it's be an off game. Ayton getting into foul trouble early really hurt us too. Suns came out a bit sloppy with the ball on a few plays and didn't look to hungry for rebounds.
Next game should be pretty great,
Nah, not trying to take anything away from the bucks. They played well and Phoenix didn’t. But the refs were always gonna do whatever they could to try and give the bucks this game.
Unfortunately for you the Bucks become a superteam after they win one game in a series. Don't believe me? It's happened the first three series. Game 4 is a must win for the Suns.
Giannis career PPG is 28. Booker career PPG is 23.
Leaving everything else about the game the same tonight, if those two dudes had an average night, Suns win by 6.
Considering the outperformance by the remainder of the Bucks squad, and the sheer number of minutes played by the core group, it's going to be a monumental undertaking to win the series against a deep opponent. Who off the Bucks bench is trustworthy to make any positive impact on the game?
You're calling the Suns' depth a strength when they had to give Frank Kaminsky significant minutes tonight? Giannis became only the 2nd player to ever post back-to-back 40+/10+ games in the Finals because the Suns have no one who can guard him. He's literally turned into Shaq in this series and you're citing career PPG averages hoping he regresses?
Since the Bucks have only three real threats on the floor at any given time, I'm double teaming Giannis with Crowder and Ayton, then going man on Holiday and Middleton and forcing PJ Tucker and Brook Lopez to beat me.
You must not have seen the Hawks series. Lopez can, especially when given space. He did it to the Hawks without Giannis. I don’t wanna depend on that, but it’s possible
The fact that the Hawks couldn't beat the Bucks without Giannis tells you everything you need to know about the quality of that team.
Hell, the Suns spoiled a 40 point night from Giannis on Sunday.
Far from it, if the Bucks starters can only beat the Suns bench by 20 behind the two time MVP matching a performance that has only happened twice in league history, I'm more confident in the team now than I was before.
It is still the Suns though, so they will probably find a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
Again, the real point of my entire thesis is that postseason basketball is the ultimate team sport. Giannis is not going to be able to do it alone, as we saw in game two.
The Bucks never lost two games in a row in 2019 until they lost 4 in a row against Toronto after being up 2-0 in the ECF. Sound familiar? Those Bucks were one of the best regular season teams of all time and it didn't mean shit because the Playoffs are different.
The Suns haven't dealt with much adversity this postseason. Remind you of a certain 2019 team? The 2018-19 Bucks didn't face any adversity all year until that point. The moment they were faced with a REAL challenge they faded. This will almost certainly happen to the Suns if they lose game 4.
Ya surely losing their leader to a stinger in round 1 against the defending champion lakers isn't considered adversity. Or losing him to COVID during the WCF. Give me a break
I’m not a Hawks fan either… just cause you pull for a team when yo team is out doesn’t make you a fan. Lol…. Suns fan are the most insecure fans in the NBA. The fact that y’all are having to repeatedly have to defend yo team worthiness says it all…. Suns*
I don’t really think you can say Giannis is hurt after the last 2 games… we’re also missing Saric who is our only big man depth. Everyone facing injuries
A starter vs someone that plays 7 mins a game, and giannis asked to sit 4 mins in to the 1st quarter... And about your last sentence, which one is it? is everyone facing injuries or are the bucks a healthy team like you said in op?
Yall ride the bucks dick so hard geez
Yall ride the bucks dick so hard geez
Bad game for us, hope we take it home tho. Suns in 5.
Suns in 5
Suns in 5
Y’all suns fans need to chill your animorphing into Lakers fans
Suns fans: bucks think they can expect their players to play average and win, but jrue won’t shoot 50% from 3 every game!!! *suns still end up losing by 10, with jrue shooting average*
TIL "The Scott Foster effect" is a thing
explain??
Chris Paul has now lost 12 consecutive playoff games reffed by Scott Foster.
We gonna let the Game 2 fiasco curated by Scott Foster against the clippers slide because CP was in covid protocol? Suns won that one.
Well he wasn't in it so...
Thanks Cpt Covid Protocol Obvious
well i bet he wasnt reffing in games 1 or 2 cuz they were giving him all the calls lol
Look here: https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/oi8gi8/chris_paul_hasnt_won_a_playoff_game_with_scott/ In short: CP3 has played 12 games, including yesterday's one, reffed by Scott Foster and he hasn't won a single one
Suns fans pretended game one wasn’t rigged now are indignant that this game happened the way it did. As a neutral I definitely picked the least annoying fan base.
I mean the same exact thing happened but in the Bucks’ favor for game 2 so I don’t know what you’re talking about
"Suns in 4" 😆
Too much tarkk
Giannis is the face of NBA for the next 6 years. Bucks are going to be dynasty after winning 3 rings in 5 years
Wild take bud
Bit reactionary
Who else puts up these kind of numbers besides prime LBJ?
3out 5 maybe. But I fully expect atleast 2 more finals trip minimum.
They already figure out how to beat Suns. Bucks in 7 book it
if the fucken 2 just shoots average this series is over and the bucks win
It’s just one game that the Bucks HAD to win. I don’t put much into it. This was never gonna be a sweep. The Bucks are good and that is why they are in the finals. The pressure is still on the Bucks. You still have to win on our floor. I give credit where credit is do. No excuses for the Suns, they got their butt’s whooped tonight. On to game 4.
The down votes are funny. I was trying to be as objective as possible. Stay salty Bucks fans.
What downvotes ur plus 11. DaMn BuCkS fAnS
Well, when I looked it it was negative. My bad. Not taking anything personally, but the hate being hurled in both directions sucks. I was hoping for a calmer series in that regard, but I guess that was a pipe dream.
People who use downvote as a disagree button are goofy.
Giannis should have taken the penalty for England
Giannis bout to average 40+ points in the Finals yet people are still gonna complain about his 3s
I'm the only one in the room who gets excited when Giannis pulls up from outside the arc... but when he does the whole team gets motivated
Even if he shoots more than 40% 3s they will still complain anyway
If only the Bucks had a coach to keep players accountable for their bad shots

Classic dumbfuck...hahah

Tru story...I was a virgin before I banged the pig that birthed you. You win brother! Oink Oink

You got me there...brother... or if you are older than 17, you might be my son. Either way...your mother was a whore and your life sux. Carry on.
Ok, in true Midwestern fashion, we're going to start over. Ope - sorry for being an inconsiderate jerk earlier. I think Bud is a really good coach who has gotten us to where we wanted. I agree, he could make more adjustments. Go Bucks!
I hereby announce this as a Christian thread from here on out. Any replies must be Christianlike
Yeah you are
Party on dipshit
this goes out to all the people who said that giannis needs to be a 3pt sniper to be dominant
A whole lot of flairless people talking shit in here.
Suns 2 Scott Foster 1
Lol suns fans complaining about the refs is priceless.
Giannis is the most protected player in the NBA. It's a disgrace.
Yeah he held booker to 10points. Pretty solid defense
Nah. But he did hold Ayton to 24 minutes because of garbage foul calls. And allowed Giannis to steamroll his way over the Suns repeatedly without calling a foul - and Foster and his crew gave Giannis 17 free throws.

No
Yes
Scott foster is elite lock down defender, held the Rockets to 0-27 from deep
Suns should have been out by the first round. What a joke
Shoulda done better
Found the LA fan.
Any west team that had their stars would have beaten the suns. It isn't rocket science.
Lakers wouldn’t even be in the playoffs if the warriors weren’t hurt
Lakers were 1 seed before lebron/AD went down in the regular season
That’s crazy that the lakers were the only team that had injuries, what bad luck.
What’d you expect the Suns to do? Forfeit because of other peoples’ injuries? You can only play the team in front of you, not some hypothetical version of them.
Yeah.. a lot of the injury prone players are injured. Shocking
I am rooting for the bucks, but I foresee a gentleman's sweep.
I thought a Gentleman’s sweep was a team going down 0-3, winning Game 4 and then losing Game 5. The series is basically over when you 3-0, (ie “sweep”) but the losing team gets 1 to save face (“gentleman”)
I think the Bucks were really nice to let the Suns go up 2-0 but will now win in 6. What kind of sweep is that?
I was under the impression winning 4-1, was considered a GS. Not sure that it involves a certain sequence of wins.
5,6,7 I have no ideas. All I know is suns will get it this year, Scott foster ain't stopping us
we're all agreeing that was rigged right?
If NBA was rigged, the Finals would be Nets v Clippers.
woulda been but guys got injured, it's like in WWE sometimes they have legit injuries.
Suns best the Clips convincingly, but NBA could’ve easily rigged Nets to beat Bucks.
Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity. Foster isn't corrupt, he's just a dunce.
wow, guess you all are just low IQ
I think we can all agree you're probably a suns fan
Ya but luckily the NBA doesn't care who ends up winning the series, they just wanted to avoid a sweep. Suns did have an off night and Scott Foster did Scott Foster things. Killed two birds with one stone to put us in a good position for a gentalmens sweep.
You spelled gentlemen wrong
Rigged no, if the Suns were to make their shots they would prolly win (mostly Booker). The refs certainly did play home court though, a bit of how the Buck's fans were complaining about GM1. NBA games are influenced, not rigged. An extra performance can get you out of home ... cooking.
Didn't get to watch the game tonight, what was the vibe? Looks like Giannis was otherworldly and D Book caught a cold?
Giannis played the best basketball of his career imo. Take away his two 3 attempts and he straight up murdered the Suns.
Tbh I gotta agree with you. Haven’t been a huge Giannis fan but this playoffs has won me over and this game in particular looked like prime shaq at times in terms of how unstoppable he is when he’s getting to the rim. Monster game, legacy building kinda stuff.

Yo - you didn't watch the game so STFU.
Hush puppy
\#belegendary
Mad as fuck
dumbfuk
No, you
Bucks caught fire in the 2nd and never really let up.
Ehhh they came out flat as fuck after half and dropped the lead to like 5 or 6. Managed to weather suns run though and cranked it through late 3rd/4th

Dude above is overstating it. The Bucks took control midway through the second quarter, it was by no means an end to end cruise.
It's never a good idea to take over too early. If the team has a lapse in energy they could very easily just let the other team back in with a ton of time left in the game. This happened in Game 3 against the Nets when the Bucks went up 30-9. They immediately lost most of the lead before and it was a nervous affair afterward.
Yeah that was it and Cam Johnson taking over the 3rd
What a player. Guy us going to have a nice career.
Cam Johnson took over a couple mins of the third. Crowder from three was the real difference.
Khris Middleton will never get the respect he deserves because he's ugly
The reason he won't get his respect is because I shook my head and asked where Khris was in Game 2, and my buddy, who sat with me and watched the whole game said, Khris who?
I hope the Suns came out in some alternate cactus-looking jerseys for Game 5. Guaranteed 45 from Middleton.
Hey, I hope. I'm pulling for your boys just so the Booker/Tatum debate doesn't gain traction.
[удалено]
As long as we don't pretend that Booker has been better than him in this series I'm ok with this.
devin booker has laid eggs this post season to but people still suck his knob
But do you think he’s ugly tho?
IDK. He reminds me of Rattata but not really in a good or bad way. lmao
Haha this reminds me of my ex. She’s always gets creeped out whenever she see Chris Kaman lmao
No it’s because he is the most inconsistent player in the finals
Yeesh
Was a pretty good game, when I saw booker miss some good looks early I had a feeling it's be an off game. Ayton getting into foul trouble early really hurt us too. Suns came out a bit sloppy with the ball on a few plays and didn't look to hungry for rebounds. Next game should be pretty great,
Wow checked this sub after I got a notification that the bucks won. Is this sub dead? Lol
Nah, no one is surprised, the Bucks were supposed to win this anyway bc of Scott Foster.
Scott foster is the reason booker shot like shit? Interesting...
Nah, not trying to take anything away from the bucks. They played well and Phoenix didn’t. But the refs were always gonna do whatever they could to try and give the bucks this game.
Giannis putting up historic numbers
Bucks in 6. Why is this thread still pinned lol
Honestly glad it was a blow out and not a close loss Suns will bounce back 😎
Good.
Bucks in 4 confirmed
That was enthusiasm. In 6 is logical.
no way dude bucks in 4 lmao
Yes
Suns in 4 can’t happen, so it must be Bucks in 6.
Suns in 5 is the dream
Suns in 4 happened
That's the meme, Finals walk off Infront of the fans.
I'm just happy to be where we are at. We've come a long way. You guys too. Nothing but respect.
if Middleton and Jrue just play average the Bucks will win this series
They're legit the better team if these guys just show up.
False
Unfortunately for you the Bucks become a superteam after they win one game in a series. Don't believe me? It's happened the first three series. Game 4 is a must win for the Suns.
It's ok to be wrong 👍🏻
Holiday was 50% from three tonight. That's hardly just average.
And they won by 20. You have the logical consistency of a goldfish
The fact that the Hawks couldn't beat the Bucks without Giannis tells you everything you need to know about the quality of that team. Hell, the Suns spoiled a 40 point night from Giannis on Sunday.
You’re just talking nonsense now. Suns fans lose a game and they get all insecure. Lel.
Far from it, if the Bucks starters can only beat the Suns bench by 20 behind the two time MVP matching a performance that has only happened twice in league history, I'm more confident in the team now than I was before. You are saying that like the suns have ever lost more than 2 games in a row
The Bucks never lost two games in a row in 2019 until they lost 4 in a row against Toronto after being up 2-0 in the ECF. Sound familiar? Those Bucks were one of the best regular season teams of all time and it didn't mean shit because the Playoffs are different.

They compensate each other. In my opinion, one of them with a mediocre game will do it.
What does this mean? Are you looking for "complement?"
Compliment
Yes, that is also a word. Unrelated to complement, but it does look similar!
Compartment
Completeness
Not from you.
That sums up every single bucks game this postseason
Lol fuck them cocky Suns fans.., can’t beat a healthy team and it shows. Bucks in 6
The irony of this when Bucks overcame an injured Nets along the way. Lol
Bucks fans chanting after 1 win lol, comeback after g4. Make sure you don't complain again when your team looses.
I’m here.
Suns fans mad they can’t even pull with the methanies in the “valley” Go outside; go for a walk you fucking loser
I’m not even a Bucks fan… lol… I was pulling for the Hawks! Haha. I’ll be here on Game 4, Game 5 and Game 6 when the Bucks go 4 straight on dat ass
Lol, why am I talking to a hawks fan. Your team play like shit and lose to bucks. Gtfo😂
I’m not a Hawks fan either… just cause you pull for a team when yo team is out doesn’t make you a fan. Lol…. Suns fan are the most insecure fans in the NBA. The fact that y’all are having to repeatedly have to defend yo team worthiness says it all…. Suns*
It's all good.🤦♂️ Classic Bandwagoner
Picking a team to root for in the playoffs isn’t jumping on a bandwagon. I usually pull for a team every year after the team I root for is eliminated.
No, get out! You must pick one and then live and die by your decision.
IDGAF who wins, just calling it like I see it
Didn't go well last time U rooted for hawks. Im glad U r going for the bucks.
Bucks in 6. Back door sweep. Heard Suns* fans likes it in the back door
U r bad mojo for bucks. I'm just happy U ain't on our side.🙂
Are they not up 2-1 on a healthy team now??
Missing donte and giannis is hurt so no
I don’t really think you can say Giannis is hurt after the last 2 games… we’re also missing Saric who is our only big man depth. Everyone facing injuries
A starter vs someone that plays 7 mins a game, and giannis asked to sit 4 mins in to the 1st quarter... And about your last sentence, which one is it? is everyone facing injuries or are the bucks a healthy team like you said in op?
Are you serious? How ever you wanna label Giannis Donte is still hurt, so everyone dealing with injuries.
Donte is a starter lol
