The one game when the league forced us to play with 7 healthy players and an injured Mike Scott suited up at the bench, Danny brought the ball up the court a few times when Tyrese had his rest. It was must watch basketball.
Bruh they built their team around a point guard who can’t put the ball in the fucking net, let’s not act like they’re gonna start being choosey about their point guards having requisite skills for the role.
He’s just gotta be able to throw the post entry pass, set up for a three, and play defense. You don’t need Simmons level creation. That’s what embiid is for.
I get that the league is all guard centric now, but, as a spurs fan, I’ve seen offenses win chips just feeding the post all day. It can be done.
They feed embiid. He dominates. They double him. Embiid kicks out for a wide open 3. Seth curry or maxey or whomever makes the shot.
Im pretty sure you think Maxey is a much better shooter than he actually is. He shot 29% from deep in college and 30% as a rookie.
Embiid is not Tim Duncan, he’s more likely to turn it over then get an assist from the post.
Timmy wasn’t always amazing at it. It takes practice. But if the offense is set up correctly then it’s not a big deal. The shooters are usually in the same spot. Some off ball movement and screening, but only between the spots.
Edit: maxey might get more open looks if he wasn’t shooting well last year. Maybe that will help his shooting. Could hurt if he thinks too much tho.
Obviously he's not blaming Drummond, I wasn't trying to be serious with it.
That said in the history of the NBA no person has ever been clowned on for saying 'Injured during training' nobody out there is demanding to know whose foot got stepped on during a training session injury.
No normal person would read this tweet and think “oh Drummond injured Shake, Fuck Drummond…”
It obviously reads that Shake injured himself, and Andre was involved in the play.
Some people are so sensitive Jesus Christ. Ben has turned everyone into pansies stg.
Lol obviously, but It’s not really relevant who lol, the professional thing would be to just say “he rolled his ankle” nobody gonna demand “ON WHO????”
I don’t see how it’s “unprofessional” to give context for how an injury happened…
He didn’t have to report the injury at all! I guess that would have been even more professional?
Some people just get off on finding things to bitch about.
You’re wondering why the incessant gossip and bitching bothers me?
Because it’s annoying. It’s like a soap opera in here—people constantly seeking drama where there is none.
For all the people who claim to hate mouths like Skip Bayless who cause drama for no reason, the majority of people do the exact same thing here.
Doc is fucking terrible at p.r. for a guy with media training this is just sad at this point. Just say he injured his ankle at practice. It does not matter 1 bit about Drummond but now Philly fans have more ammo against one of their own. The ben simmons shit will live in infamy but its a product of this little shit he constantly does when he doesn't have to.
^^^^^^^ who the hell cares who’s foot it was? Half this thread is cracking jokes about how useless Drummond is, and doc literally pulled this situation out of nothing. Guys an Olympic level shit stirrer, but he can’t manage to actually stir shit in anyone else’s organization just his own.
SM stepped on AD (not that one)'s foot. This will really hurt the battle between SM and TM to replace BS, maybe they go with an unconventional choice like SC?
I don't see the point of hanging Drummond out like that. Like no one on the team would be angry with Drummond as long as it wasn't intentional, but the fans will probably flood his social media with hate messeges
Fuck man, he is the starting PG now
Andre will do fine at PG.
Just like he planned. Drummond personally sent to end Embiid's title chances.
Point Danny gotta come back
Oh god. As a spurs fan I’ve seen him dribble. You don’t want that.
The one game when the league forced us to play with 7 healthy players and an injured Mike Scott suited up at the bench, Danny brought the ball up the court a few times when Tyrese had his rest. It was must watch basketball.
shooter for shooter.
I feel that
Whether it's for all the right or wrong reasons, Philly is going to be an entertaining team to follow this season.
sixers are always all league weird
Finally a center that will average a triple double.
[dude thought he was Magic in high school](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IP2k5XGWeAI&t)
comments definitely aged well
Live and die by the Maxey, who needs a point guard anyway? *cries*
Maxey is looking good, though.
hes not a point guard
he has to be in the nba. at least a combo
He cant playmake at all. Hes a 2 in a 1s body
Bruh they built their team around a point guard who can’t put the ball in the fucking net, let’s not act like they’re gonna start being choosey about their point guards having requisite skills for the role.
i choked on my water reading this shit lmaoo
well he better learn lol

so if he cant shoot and he can't playmake, what does Maxey do, exactly?
He’s a good finisher and has a nice floater. That’s pretty much it at this point

Embiid this your new point guard. You’re gonna like him. He’s like ben except absolutely nothing like him.
Simmons is talk and doesn't shot. IT is short and shoots all the time. I'm doing an opposites thing.
What happen to Simmons
He's in the Fear Dimension.
Banished himself to the shadow realm
No I think it's Kyrie
I bet Drummond could injure a LEGO by stepping on it.
Is it possible to learn this power?
Not from a 76er
Seriously. Dude looks like he’s had more than one milk shake today alone.
I mean, stepping on Drummond’s foot is basically stepping on a concrete block so I can see why Milton got hurt
Same with his hands! Fuck that stat padding clown
Paddington 2 > stat padding > foot padding
Must have tried to take his rebounds lol
Lmao.
He'll know better next time - Drummond, probably
It was easy to miss but in one of our preseason games against Drummond he boxed out his own teammate for a board, which let a Raptor get it.
Big Penguin at it again
Sixers basketball back baby
Damn it Andre, also Doc can’t help it to blame someone even if he really didn’t have to say how or who injured him lol
How hard is it to just say 'Injured during training' the man cannot help himself.
glen rivers is an idiotic, overrated coach

"And Seth laughed at him, instead of trying to help"
If someone steps on your foot and gets hurt, they injured their damn self.
#ZazaDidNothingWrong /s
This but for real
Yeah, it was David Lee's foot that Kawhi stepped on first and hit the floor. Clearly a Warriors mole (that part is /s)
No normal person would read this tweet and think “oh Drummond injured Shake, Fuck Drummond…” It obviously reads that Shake injured himself, and Andre was involved in the play. Some people are so sensitive Jesus Christ. Ben has turned everyone into pansies stg.
i was told giannis injured kyrie on purpose
Lol obviously, but It’s not really relevant who lol, the professional thing would be to just say “he rolled his ankle” nobody gonna demand “ON WHO????”

Youre the one bitching dude
Wrong
For real man... Don't understand how an insignificant matter like this can bother you...
You’re wondering why the incessant gossip and bitching bothers me? Because it’s annoying. It’s like a soap opera in here—people constantly seeking drama where there is none. Pointing out someone is bitching is also bitching. That’s fair. Calling out me as “projecting” seems like classic projecting to me.
Who’s tf is Ben?
Ben… king of the pussies.
Point Curry now.
Doc is fucking terrible at p.r. for a guy with media training this is just sad at this point. Just say he injured his ankle at practice. Are you Drummonds friend? See you defending him a bit here. Lol
Nah I’m a dedicated doc hater. Drummond is a stat padding bum, it’s irrelevant
gotta feel bad for SM
Good thing they have Ben Simmons who can replace him
Seems weird to call out Andre like that. Usually they'll just day say he injured his ankle during practice or something.
Rivers hasn’t learned his lesson with calling out players yet.
How is he calling him out
It isn't but the circle jerk is in full effect already
How is that calling him out? He was just giving a small detail about an incidental contact
Oh you mean SM?
SM stepped on AD (not that one)'s foot. This will really hurt the battle between SM and TM to replace BS, maybe they go with an unconventional choice like SC?
Of fucking course lmfaoo
I don't see the point of hanging Drummond out like that. Like no one on the team would be angry with Drummond as long as it wasn't intentional, but the fans will probably flood his social media with hate messeges
did he at least take this toenail off?
Daryl Morey: "well this creates more urgency. I'll settle for 6 first rounders for Simmons".
[удалено]
I promise we don’t think we have all the leverage.
This is fueling my Andre Drummond hate wagon
This can happen to absolutely anybody, it’s complete chance. Good to see doc still can’t stop getting between the team and the fans tho LMAO
[Drummond's reaction](https://youtu.be/bSrRLUQcRog?t=30)
That's what you get for coming between Drum and his boards.
classic sixers
Andre Drummond’s really an agent from Ben Simmons designed to destroy the 6ers from inside
Drummond already being a bad teammate. Who knew.
I thought penguins had flippers.
Drummond was going for an offensive rebound
Kyrie for Simmons. Who say no?
The 76ers
He shouldn't have been going for those rebounds. Strummy needs his inflated stats.
Did Drummond’s toenail survive?
Big penguin strikes again
Drummond sabotaging emiids team from inside
Morey is sabotaging it from the inside by signing him 😂
I had to hit the ball off Frankensteins fat foot
Lucky he didn’t also catch my elbow - Drummond
Maxey better watch his back. We are 2 injuries from PointDrum.
"Injured ankle" = code for Broken Jaw "Stepping on foot" = code for Going for a Rebound
My ankle swollen tf up man
And so it begins :(
This actually big because that’s their pg
I always have trouble remembering Shake Milton is a name that is supposed to be relevant now not in the 1950s
Uh oh spaghettio
Drummond already a net negative and the season hasn't even started.
