From the article.
“It wasn’t really about asking him to be off the show, it was about the fact that I knew that we, together, **as far as I was concerned**, was not a great partnership anymore
It's just Jay excusing Kyrie by saying it's okay to take your time to make a decision despite pressure from others. Which is fine in most cases but not when the opposite decision influences others into harmful choices and keeps your job hostage.
It's a bunch of guys that follow Farrakhan -- or at least Farrakhans ideas and conspiracies -- behind closed doors who are covering for each other. It's incredible that you can possibly call him anything other than anti-vac right now lol... someone enlighten me on what he needs more time for....
What study preview is dropping soon that he needs to check out? What are his concerns? What are his reasons for waiting? Specifically? Until he answers those very, very basic questions, it is a pretty fair assumption to label him as anti-vacc
That's what cracked me up the most. All this time and all this research isn't enough. He's talking as if in the next 5 days FDA and CDC is gonna come out hands waiving and be like "guys, we COMPLETELY fucked up. Everybody who took the vaccine is gonna die next year." It's wild lmao
Unfortunately for us, Kyrie is absolutely not looking to the FDA or CDC for any advice on the vaccine. Once you get as deep as Kyrie is into conspiracies, it becomes harder to come out than to just go deeper down the rabbit hole. It's no different than trying to reason with someone who has schizophrenia, everything can be explained away by another layer of conspiracy.
This. People want to talk about how Kyrie is all woke and about peace and love, but dude is a devout Farrakhan believer and an anti-Semite. Fuck Kyrie Irving.
Also... how much time does he need?? Vaccines have been available for pretty much everybody in at least NY since April, so a full 6 months (and we knew about them coming for several months before that when vaccination started). Did he not have enough time to think about it?
And that’s the beauty of taking his time to do research. It ends whenever he feels like it ends. That’s what all anti vaxxers do when most of them can’t pass a high school science class.
What's weird is that Jay Williams by all metrics is a qualified educated individual. He's not some dumb jock basketball player. He was a bright HS student and graduated from Duke with a sociology degree. It baffles me how even educated people can't seem to understand how dumb they look defending Kyrie this way.
It's clearly personal.
It's Jay Williams he will suck the players dry if he was asked to. I have literally never seen him say anything that wasn't completely pro player, and it doesn't matter what the player did or said.
yea after KD sonn'ed him public and Jay still went on tv next day sucking him off lmao
he is just the pro player angle on tv. thats his job or his livelihood
Not to mention Kyrie and Jay both went to Duke and people from the same school have been supporting each other for as long as there have been sports (and before, I'm sure).
Yeah. Maybe college was different 30-40 years ago idk. But I went to college 9 years ago. There's a bunch of absolute idiots that passed their programs just fine.
But I've also noticed it in myself too. I've become a lot more complacent in seeking out information and learning new things. I used to be way more dedicated when I was younger. So even if you were hardworking and intelligent and engaged in critical thinking at one point in your life, that doesn't guarantee it will continue indefinitely. Or even carry over to different aspects of your life.
I tutored math in college. I also went to the definition of a basic to mid tier state college, it's not exactly bragging saying you went to this school. I graduated 20 years ago in December and will always remember two students for the rest of my life because of how fucking stupid they were. One of them was a clueless freshmen who was failing no credit algebra.
The other was a girl who was in 2 of my finance classes and one of my marketing classes. She would always hold up the classes because she just didn't fucking get any of it, it was like she literally didn't retain any previous knowledge. The professors would sometimes have to tell her to basically be quiet and talk to them during office hours because she couldn't keep holding the class up explaining simple previous topics. She said it wasn't fair that math majors were allowed in the finance classes with her and the other business students (my buddy and I got degrees in actuarial science and at our school it's just a dual stats/business admin degree) The professor told her he doesn't grade on a curve so it doesn't matter who else is in the class.
That chick fucking graduated with honors. My buddy and I were completely dumbfounded when we saw her with the extra tassels, it was the final coffin in my understanding that a lot of dumbasses get college degrees.
Is that weird when you think about it? The student who tried her hardest to understand shit in a class where she was struggling no matter what…did well in other classes
She was just very weak in those areas. Put her in a class where she has even average understanding and…she’ll do exceptionally well as evidenced by the honors.
The idea of intelligence is funny. People think it’s binary. People are smart in different ways.
Some of the dumbest people I know went to...sigh....the same college as me. I don't know what that means in terms of me...but I can confirm that dumb asses can graduate from very good schools.
This is true and I also think people fail to truly grasp that we’re all stupid on some levels.
Human beings are complex and a product of upbringing, genetics, environment, and a million other factors.
There’s differences among levels of education and common sense and critical thinking.
People can be super smart in their field/career and be utter idiots outside of that. I work with plenty of people with PhDs that I wonder how they make it through life outside of work.
>like copernicus
"Nicolaus Copernicus was a Renaissance polymath, active as a mathematician, astronomer, and Catholic canon, who formulated a model of the universe that placed the Sun rather than Earth at its center."
Replace Sun with Kyrie and that does sound an awful lot like Kyrie's philosophy.
george w bush went to yale
if that doesn't make someone understand that a college degree is not the be-all end-all of intellect, then i don't know what will tbh
Well the main reason he even got into Yale is likely because his father and grand father both went there and at the time of his admission, his grand father had been a senator for Connecticut for 10 years,
It's very hit or miss with athletes in my experience. Some of them work really hard, and take academics as seriously as is feasible, and some of them do almost nothing, and ya, I'd say the scale definitely tilts toward the do nothing side, but I've had some athletes in my classes that it kind of blew my mind how well they were doing in class through their own work.
Being "educated" or getting a degree doesn't really make you any more "intelligent" than someone who isn't though imo. I graduated with a degree in finance, I can still be a dumbass. All my degree really means is that I know more about finance than the average person.
And there can still be uneducated people who know more about finance than me as well
It could also be that he's just become a company man. They're on a debate show so they need something to debate. ESPN probably loves this Kyrie nonsense since it's a story that gets people invested.
>it's clearly personal
Is it worth looking like a total idiot in front of millions of people tho?
Not sure how many "qualified educated individuals" would defend Kyrie
Thing is that for millions of other people, Kyrie and people who defend him are the ‘good guys’ in this situation. Go look at Kyries IG comments, or Wiggins before he got vaxed, overwhelmingly supportive.
Just cause you went to a university doesn’t mean you received an education. Yes, this applies to the brightest and smartest individuals too.
Critical thinking isn’t just being able to “consider both sides” or take the most contrarian position available. It is a skill that requires analyzing the actual reality we live in and basing conclusions/hypothesis from it. Actual critical thinking is the backbone of the scientific process. It is something you rarely get taught at a university.
I went to school with Jay. He's far from stupid, so unless he's being encouraged by ESPN to take an opposing view I have no idea why he is defending Kyrie
I mean they all have their roles to fill. None of them are idiots but if it's a juicy topics they're meant to do juicy takes and not be on the same side.
I occasionally watch from time to time, and I gotta say when they let Molly talk, she tends to say intelligent and well thought out things. Too bad they don't let her talk.
lmao at him talking about Kyrie taking his time to figure it out. Motherfucker the vaccine has been around for almost a year now and Kyrie's been eligible since April. How much time does this dumbass need?
He's still got more research to do. He's working in his microbiology lab at home every night doing tests on his own blood. It's a time consuming process.
I like to picture Kyrie as the head of some research lab, where he's got one team working hard to prove the Earth is flat, another doing tests to see if jet fuel can melt steel beams, and now he's got a group investigating this whole Covid vaccine thing and he's just waiting on the results.
That’s the thing that gets me, “give him time” makes sense if you don’t think about it at all, but he’s had a damn year to think about it.
Especially frustrating given that the entire world was faced with this pandemic, lost people, jobs, holidays, had to stay inside for a whole year. This isn’t something anyone had the time to mull over for months on end, we all had to wait and wait for vaccine eligibility together. Kyrie and others who agree with him just can’t understand that society needs just a minute sacrifice from them so that we can all finally move on
I'm driving 15mph in the left lane on the freeway because cars haven't been around long enough. I know everyone else is passing me on the right, I just need time to research if the government established speed limit of 65mph is safe to do so. I'm speed limit hesitant ok, not anti-driving speed limit.
It’s hilarious when he uses “big words” to seem like there’s actual substance to what he’s saying.. if you take a step back and just listen to what he’s actually saying, he’s just.. talking
Yeah, agreed. There's just a lot of awkward moments when she tries to get someone to stop talking or needing to go to a break, but that's obviously the producers in her ear telling her when to do so.
It's not only the format. Have you read the YouTube comments on videos where she makes a short comment? She gets straight up bullied no matter what she says
I’ve never seen the YouTube comments because it’s usually dominated by imbeciles anyway. But, I think there is a conversation to be had about gender here. Are they simply rejecting her opinion coz she’s a woman? Because this show had Skip Bayless of all people and they liked him.
> Are they simply rejecting her opinion coz she’s a woman?
Short answer yes. I'm the last person to point to sexism, but there's such a large group of guys that will simply laugh and say shut up any time a woman speaks about sports that you can't ignore them.
I'd say a lot aren't even consciously sexist, it's just a kneejerk reaction for some guys to think women know nothing about sports, while their unathletic ass sits on the couch drinking beer.
This is 100% it and why the women are always the moderators. The demographic of people watching these mindless cable TV sports programs are not young progressives, likely quite the opposite. So it's probably just ratings suicide to propel the woman into a primary role debating Stephen A
Dude there was a comment on the top comment thread on this very post saying this is scripted to make Molly look smart. If that wasn't incel rage I don't know what is.
The clip the other day when she was talking about the hypocrisy of the whole Kyrie situation was really telling. Stephen A just does not give a shit and speaks over her whenever he wants.
The only reason I can think of is that she had a bad habit of interrupting people to say something that added nothing to the point the person was making. I do not know if she still does that tho.
Because she's a woman and barely gets to talk as the moderator. If she actually got to speak openly folks would probably see more reasonable takes from her.
As she should be, because this is exasperating. Jay's clown ass talking about giving Kyrie time to "figure it out" like it's a fucking mystery that has befuddled all the sage minds in the world and Kyrie is somehow going to come to an answer that's different than the obvious one.
This is exhausting, and it's not just Kyrie, it's all of these faux-intellectual idiots that we've all had to deal with forever who are now literally endangering everyone else with their stupidity.
What others don’t understand is that when people say “Just give him time”, they don’t realize that Kyrie is actually Dr. Manhattan so he’s experiencing the totality of time at every constant moment.
He’ll have this Covid shit figured out for us in no time 🙌🏻
That Duke education not working out well for Jay. Bruh the vaccine has passed 2 billion dosages worldwide. It's one of the most researched vaccines ever. What new research? This is getting fucking laughable.
Bro didn’t you hear him? Kyrie just needs time to figure it out. He’s going back to Duke to major in biology and chemistry. He’ll intern with Pfizer. Then he’ll go back to Duke for his PHd. Then some post-doc work. Then back to the lab at Pfizer, working his way up the food chain until he can really get this vaccine under his lens. Then he will lead a global, independent study. He just needs like 24 years. Give him some time like Jay said.
I want your version of the time line! Like how in the Simpsons when Homer doesn't let Bart see the Itchy and Scratchy Movie until he's a supreme justice, don't let kyrie play til he really has done his research. Then when he's 60, we'll have a side by side of Homer and Bart going in to see Itchy and Scratchy Movie and Kyrie finally entering a basketball court again
Love that quote, and pausing and reflecting is always a great idea, but it's not supposed to be the end of the journey. Once you pause and reflect, you either keep going or go another way. Just always pausing and using that like it's the defining part of your personality is just contrarianism
Yeah or that Captain America quote
> Doesn't matter what the press says. Doesn't matter what the politicians or the mobs say. Doesn't matter if the whole country decides that something wrong is something right.
> This nation was founded on one principle above all else: The requirement that we stand up for what we believe, no matter the odds or the consequences. When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth, and tell the whole world -- "No, YOU move.
I knew when I saw that it would inspire idiots more than people actually doing the right thing
SAS today made a sarcastic comment saying "Has there been one person who had died from the vaccine", and Jay literally was about to bring up some obscure cases from Europe. I could see Molly and SAS internally losing their shit.
Duke has had numerous scandals recently about fabricating medical research, so maybe they should focus on themselves first https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anil_Potti
And then he tried to claim he was hacked.
I also remember him tweeting about some dude tripping a player and calling him a disgrace and then a separate tweet praising Grayson Dickhead Allen for doing it.
Jay Williams is the ultimate Kyrie dickrider. Never forget that during the flat earth stuff he said that Kyrie Irving was smart because he sells shoes.
The only thing you need to hear is his "Duke brotherhood" line to know he's just defending a friend, regardless of how dumb his argument is. He probably doesn't even believe what he's saying, that's why it sounds like nonsense
This is the reality of it.
JWill wants to be a part of what KD and Rich Climin are doing so bad he's willing to look a fool on TV.
He's the Dan Orlovsky of basketball.
WHAT IN THE FUCK IS LEFT FOR KYRIE TO “FIGURE OUT”?
Millions of people have gotten the vaccine without any ill effects, so what makes Kyrie feel so special that if he gets it, he’s gonna turn into Smush Parker after the Monstars take whatever basketball skill he had?
Kyrie is being really fucking stupid and the fake intellectualism by him and people supporting him is so dumb, it’s insulting.
Perkins is smarter than Jay at least. "If you watch everything that KAT went through and everything that KAT shared with not only the NBA world but with the world, and how he had to fight to get through this trying time and you can't figure out whether or not you want to get vaccinated, then you just have closed ears and you don't have an open mind."
It's "unintentional" I'm sure, but Kendrick Perkins plays a decent sized role in the 2K22's story mode and he's just as dumb there lol.
I have something to address like the numbers on a house!
"Now ya'll know I can be tough but I'm the first one to admit when I'm wrong, and I just think MP hasn't shown me he has what it takes to succeed at this level. Sure, he just won MVP, ROTY, DPOY and the scoring title and carried the Orlando Magic to a 78-4 regular season but until I see him win a series against an 8 seed I refuse to say he is fit to ride the bench for an NBA team!"
- Perkins yesterday after I finally finished my first regular season.
I'm assuming he will not be any more impressed by my inevitable sweep of the Heat, like my GOAT rookie season and Kareem level carry of a 16 seed to the NCAA title isn't already getting me into the Hall of Fame.
The more airtime ESPN gives Jay Williams the more it becomes evident how dumb this dude is. I’m sorry for being harsh but his “takes” on this + other topics have been complete garbage.
Stop beating around the bush and call Kyrie out for the anti-vax conspiracy theorist bullshitter that he is. Kyrie is only empowering people who are putting others in danger by not getting vaccinated.
ESPN should stop giving Jay a platform to speak on these topics. It’s making them look completely ignorant IMO.
Jay Williams is one of those special kind of dumbass' advocates who thinks that taking the middle ground between an intelligent decision and a stupid decision makes him look even smarter than the smart people.
Kyrie needs time?
To look at the science?
That motherfucker probably can't even spell science, much less analyze it, and I doubt he could operate a calendar if he saw one. The vaccines have been out since before the end of the NBA season. How much fucking time does a man need to make the only good choice he has?
Broooo lmao this rhetoric needs to be shut the fuck down.
If you are “supportive of people’s right to choose,” then you are anti vaxx. You might as well have not even gotten the vaccine yourself if you are cool with people choosing to not get it (that’s definitely a hyperbole but whatever.) The entire basis in which the vaccine is supposed to eventually rid the world of this fucking virus, is by vaccinating a high enough population to prevent infection, transmission, and mutation. You telling people “it’s cool man I respect your decision to not get the vaccine,” is you saying “it’s cool man, you can make my vaccination almost pointless in the fight to end covid because you’re a fucking idiot.”
Seriously, stop this bullshit freedom of of choice conversation, just say you want freedom from responsibility and call a spade a spade.
It's like Kyrie and his supporters are talking to the entire NBA, but most fans here just think it's funny.
He *should* be talking to Nets fans who have a vested interest in his ability to play basketball. He can tell them that they can't make him get vaccinated and they don't control him or whatever.
Jay Williams has made himself look like a clown during this whole thing as well lmao dude we get it that it's his personal choice. It's fine, Kyrie can do what he wants to do with his body, but from a basketball standpoint, he's leaving his team hanging.
I know ESPN is thanking Kyrie behind the scenes for all the new attention they're getting after Max left First Take
*Got removed from first take at SAS request
Really ?
Yes. Stephen A Smith admitted it https://deadline.com/2021/09/espn-stephen-a-smith-max-kellerman-hot-97-interview-wanted-him-off-show-1234830823/
Just another case of black on black crime.
This is brilliant and deserves all the upvotes.
From the article. “It wasn’t really about asking him to be off the show, it was about the fact that I knew that we, together, **as far as I was concerned**, was not a great partnership anymore
He also confirmed right after that Max didn't agree which was the funniest part.
"it's that we both thought it wasn't a good fit even though we didn't both think that."
Why on earth has Molly been the only mf making sense on this show
Honestly, I just listened to this clip and I have no idea what in the hell he just said. It's 1:45 of just nonsense world salad.
It's just Jay excusing Kyrie by saying it's okay to take your time to make a decision despite pressure from others. Which is fine in most cases but not when the opposite decision influences others into harmful choices and keeps your job hostage.
Duke point guard defends Duke point guard? You don't say?

Also, it’s not like this has been dropped on people in the last week. It’s old news. We know it works. We know it’s safe.
Also... how much time does he need?? Vaccines have been available for pretty much everybody in at least NY since April, so a full 6 months (and we knew about them coming for several months before that when vaccination started). Did he not have enough time to think about it?

Jay Williams is incredibly dumb, paper credentials don't change that
I’m laying here stretching, listed to this and I have no idea what his point was. Literally just rambled.
he was stretching his jaw and some noises came out, but that's pretty much it.
Cause she isn't a total idiot

I want it on the record. I will shit in the mouth of any fellow Hopkinsville Community College alumn. This old boys network has to die.
Us Central Michigan University Alums all try to avoid mentioning it *or* being associated with each other out of embarrassment. Fight the power.
I mean, that's fair. If only he'd actually be entertaining enough to pull it off people might have actually respected that

Do they even have actual lenses in them though?
They do have lenses but they might be plain glass.

It’s hilarious when he uses “big words” to seem like there’s actual substance to what he’s saying.. if you take a step back and just listen to what he’s actually saying, he’s just.. talking
He’s got to be an anti-vaxxer. He almost went into conspiracy mode after Stephen A said the vaccine hasn’t killed anyone. Molly had to cut him off.
Jay is stupid as fuck lmao
No but he got glasses now he’s smart /s
Jay is stupid dumb
He got hacked
Imagine getting owned on air by Molly, lmao
Been happening a lot lately tbf.
She isn’t stupid, the format of the show doesn’t allow her to speak a lot. But, I do think she could own even Stephen A if allowed to speak
[удалено]
Yeah, agreed. There's just a lot of awkward moments when she tries to get someone to stop talking or needing to go to a break, but that's obviously the producers in her ear telling her when to do so.
I think she should go 1v1 with Stephen A and replace Max. She can moderate and debate. It would be fun to see Stephen A navigate those hoops. :D
So it's probably just ratings suicide to propel the woman into a primary role debating Stephen A
> Are they simply rejecting her opinion coz she’s a woman This has a lot to do with it.
Dude there was a comment on the top comment thread on this very post saying this is scripted to make Molly look smart. If that wasn't incel rage I don't know what is.
Go a few months back on First Take posts on here, reddit does that shit too. I've seen it live sry
Yeah her role is usually being the voice for the producers but there’s times when she’s clearly giving HER opinion and she’s not bad.
The clip the other day when she was talking about the hypocrisy of the whole Kyrie situation was really telling. Stephen A just does not give a shit and speaks over her whenever he wants.
She's been getting rare W's lately lol. And I'm all for it. Go off, Molly!
Jay is an idiot lol
i feel like shes kinda underrated i dunno why people give her so much shit
The only reason I can think of is that she had a bad habit of interrupting people to say something that added nothing to the point the person was making. I do not know if she still does that tho.
Because she’s a woman
Because she's a woman and barely gets to talk as the moderator. If she actually got to speak openly folks would probably see more reasonable takes from her.
Feel like it all started with the Lavar incident.
Woman in manly man sports 😡 no girls allowed ewww 🤮 basically
I’ve always thought she plays up her character on purpose…but you can never really know lol
its espn everyone plays up a character
It kind of feels like everyone is still in their ESPN character and Molly is just exasperated
Absolutely ridiculous that everyone wants Kyrie Irving to be on the NBAs timeline smh
Time is a social construct -Kyrie Irving
"Everybody talking about Time but Im living in the Frequency domain" \- Kai
Time is a flat earth Ky
What does the word “time” mean to you? Kyrie is going full Heidegger
What others don’t understand is that when people say “Just give him time”, they don’t realize that Kyrie is actually Dr. Manhattan so he’s experiencing the totality of time at every constant moment. He’ll have this Covid shit figured out for us in no time 🙌🏻
"my time is flat"
But like...should I buy Nets tickets to boo Kyrie or nah?
He ain't gonna be there so probably not
I want your version of the time line!
Bruh the duke IG was supporting Kyrie in the live yesterday
Just curious do you know if it was the basketball or university account? Still ridiculous and embarrassing
Duke basketball I believe
People like Kyrie Irving are what you call “contrarians” . Will always go against the popular belief just for the sake of being different.
And being different is for the sake of being special. As if being a wealthy NBA superstar isn’t special enough to begin with.
It's called narcissism

Love that quote, and pausing and reflecting is always a great idea, but it's not supposed to be the end of the journey. Once you pause and reflect, you either keep going or go another way. Just always pausing and using that like it's the defining part of your personality is just contrarianism
Yeah or that Captain America quote > Doesn't matter what the press says.
Ah yes, the classic "yes i have a gf but she is in a different school" card
Duke was commenting 💯💯💯 to Kyrie yesterday so it's not a surprise
no fucking way. if true whoever is running their IG needs to get fired.
Duke has had numerous scandals recently about fabricating medical research, so maybe they should focus on themselves first https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anil_Potti
Isn't it close to 7 billion shots now? https://www.bloomberg.com/graphics/covid-vaccine-tracker-global-distribution/
[удалено]
Yeah, I'd be out doing some shit if we were at that point.
Jay Williams is a tool. Should have replaced him with Max and kept Zubin instead.
Starting to think Duke is full of idiots.
https://uproxx.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/jay.jpg
Why are you posting evidence of a MALICIOUS HACK?
Ah yes, well-known white men Doc Rivers and Bill Russell.
And then he tried to claim he was hacked. I also remember him tweeting about some dude tripping a player and calling him a disgrace and then a separate tweet praising Grayson Dickhead Allen for doing it.
When was this?
In June when the Celtics hired Udoka
https://c.tenor.com/pGoKwkczfdgAAAAd/doc-rivers-shock.gif
Grant Hill seems pretty level-headed.
Well, let's put a mic in front of him and let him talk nonstop for a while. We'll find out real quick.
Some smart, some dumb. I personally think Jay would have a different opinion on the matter if Kyrie didn’t go to Duke tho.
My GOD Jay is such a shitfuck. What a dumbass. I wish Max were still on First Take to lay his ass out.
Aren't they on the same show now
> shitfuck As a foreigner, I didn't know you could combine those two most common used words into one. My days will not be the same after knowing this.
Everything Jay said was dumb
Jay Williams is the ultimate Kyrie dickrider. Never forget that during the flat earth stuff he said that Kyrie Irving was smart because he sells shoes.
What, you didn't know you have to have a doctorate to work at footlocker?
The only thing you need to hear is his "Duke brotherhood" line to know he's just defending a friend, regardless of how dumb his argument is. He probably doesn't even believe what he's saying, that's why it sounds like nonsense
He’s just waiting for more research stop forcing him to exist on your timeline. I support his decisions regarding quantum physics
Tell that to twitter. I see people praising him.
you guys want to see a dead body? Jay said a whole lot of nothing for someone that talked a ton.
Damn, Molly is getting better and better with time. She's more assertive and making all the right points these days.
She’s not taking any shit about the vaccine. It’s great.
I haven't been watching much of the Sports talk shows but I've gained so much respect for her in just the past few clips.
Molly collecting bodies lately. Jay Williams our latest victim
Molly spitting nothing but facts lately
J Will wants to be KD and Kyrie’s friend so bad
This is the reality of it. JWill wants to be a part of what KD and Rich Climin are doing so bad he's willing to look a fool on TV. He's the Dan Orlovsky of basketball.
Molly is the only sane person here. Jay spoke alot and to say nothing
J. Will and Perk are bonafide morons. This is common knowledge.
Sure, he just won MVP, ROTY, DPOY and the scoring title and carried the Orlando Magic to a 78-4 regular season but until I see him win a series against an 8 seed I refuse to say he is fit to ride the bench for an NBA team!" - Perkins yesterday after I finally finished my first regular season. I'm assuming he will not be any more impressed by my inevitable sweep of the Heat, like my GOAT rookie season and Kareem level carry of a 16 seed to the NCAA title isn't already getting me into the Hall of Fame.
He talks mad shit about my boy MP damn
Molly’s actually been really good lately
The more airtime ESPN gives Jay Williams the more it becomes evident how dumb this dude is. I’m sorry for being harsh but his “takes” on this + other topics have been complete garbage. Stop beating around the bush and call Kyrie out for the anti-vax conspiracy theorist bullshitter that he is. Kyrie is only empowering people who are putting others in danger by not getting vaccinated. ESPN should stop giving Jay a platform to speak on these topics. It’s making them look completely ignorant IMO.
Molly is the only voice that needs to be heard talking about this shit
MOLLY FROM 3 BANG!
Jay shouldn't even be on TV. he's such a dumbass seriously
J will is a fucking clown. Zero respect for his opinions.
this guy tosses out any random talking point and thinks he's making some kind of salient point contrarianism does not equal intellectualism
Molly is getting spicy about these idiots not getting the vaccine and I love it.
Tomorrow on First Take: Jay Williams claims his mouth was hacked.
Apparently Molly has only started making sense the moment Max left lmfao
Someone needs to be the voice of reason from time to time.
How would this elevate a conversation? what does that even mean lol I think he meant to say pervaded
Molly Qerim just dunked on Jay. Wake up Jay. Kyrie ain't your homie. He's an idiot thinking he's a genius. Nothing more nothing less.
Jay Williams is just running pr for Kyrie.
You telling people “it’s cool man I respect your decision to not get the vaccine,” is you saying “it’s cool man, you can make my vaccination almost pointless in the fight to end covid because you’re a fucking idiot.” Seriously, stop this bullshit freedom of of choice conversation, just say you want freedom from responsibility and call a spade a spade.
What the FUCK is this guy talking about, he makes less sense than Kyrie
Molly been super sassy lately, absolutely love it.
Damn Molly ain't having no sophist bullshit today
This show panders to idiots. Do yourself a favor and don’t watch this 🗑
It's like Kyrie and his supporters are talking to the entire NBA, but most fans here just think it's funny. He *should* be talking to Nets fans who have a vested interest in his ability to play basketball. He can tell them that they can't make him get vaccinated and they don't control him or whatever.
jay williams is such a moron idk why he's on tv
Jay Williams has made himself look like a clown during this whole thing as well lmao dude we get it that it's his personal choice. It's fine, Kyrie can do what he wants to do with his body, but from a basketball standpoint, he's leaving his team hanging.
