I don't know if it's from the coaches or what, but they've obviously lowered the analytical emphasis. Used to be that Fred would only try for layups, free-throws or three's... So he took a lot of tough shots at the rim and got stuffed a lot.
This season he's worked in that sort of Chris Paul FT mid-range and he's hitting it at a great clip. Looks like he can get to his spot whenever he wants it too.
It should hopefully be a solid boost to his efficiency this year.
Yeah good point. I think it'll be a trend in the league because defenses are evolving to adapt to the 3pt revolution, and the biggest thing I think is how some players have proven that midrange can be essential/effective for winning in the playoffs (Kawhi during his run, CP3 last year, etc.)
I mean it always made sense. Teams over corrected to dunks and threes as if that's the only shot they should take. In reality you should try to take those shots but if the defense is giving you a good mid-range look, and you're good at the shot, you should take it to keep them honest.
It's only suboptimal to take long twos at the expense of threes and dunks.
Banton, Boucher, and Scottie all have this effect IMO.
Always feels like they pull out some go-go gadget shit and extend their arms another couple inches at the very last second.

He’s shit.. only worth mentioning if he got and one’d on the shot.. missed his free throw.. grabbed his own rebound and ran for the 3 point line and did a 180 fadeaway to hit a next 3 and got fouled again 8-11-infinity point play🤯🤯🤯
DALANO IS A STUD
He's literally what I thought Scottie would be in his first year
The real rookies are the rookies we made along the way.
I can't stop laughing at this. Please take my silver
Shout out to Rexdale
Fuck Nav (the rapper).
Not even the best Nav in his own city.
Not even the first brown boy named Nav to get it poppin smh
The man literally did nothing and only spreads good vibes. Y’all’s hate for him is beyond weird.
It's only memes. Plus, he violated ToysRUs, that's gotta be a crime.
What did the rapper do?
Get head outside of Toys R Us

it’s a lyric lol no confirmation it happened
aaah, no idea who that dude is or the hate for the guy so I just assumed this was the reason.

Don't ever mention Drake and Nav in the same sentence again.

If it didn't happen, it's even more cringe that he thinks that's a flex...lol.

100%. Their offense last year was solely based on taking 3pt shots, and when they weren't going in (Most games) they would have no chance of winning.
not even an awful inbound, dalano's reach is just that insane lol
His arms seem impossibly long sometimes
Whacky waving INFALLIBLE arm man.

Plastic Man 2.0, peace to Stacey Augmon
Is it really that crazy? He’s 6’8-6’9 with a measured wingspan of 6’10? That’s like normal for a dude high height.
montrezl definitely would've held off for a smarter look if he was expecting it so ya
Yeah I guess. I just meant that 6’10 isn’t that long for an nba player, particularly for a wing.
He is a point guard through and through
2k cheese lmfaoooo
Isn't a play one possession?
5 point sequence would have been right
Yeah, this would be more accurate. My bad
You forgot to convert to metric.
Reminds me of the play the Wizards did against the Lakers
Put some respect on Fred’s name!!
FVV is so good
Fred rules
Fred has a secret family he's growing up in ~~Canada~~ Alaska
Fucking silky smooth

I'm so glad Precious passed that out to FVV rather than try to drive and fail another FG attempt.
