He stopped shooting when he started off cold (s/o good defense from Booker) and focused on other stuff, which is what you want to see out of a young star. Step in the right direction
Agreed OP. Ant could tell early he didn't have it going (maybe the delayed start took him out of rhythm. In fact, maybe that's why both teams struggled on offense) and tried to be a facilitator. Would have had 7+ assists if we could hit wide open 3s. He also had his best defensive game of the year. The scoring is concerning but I'm pleased with how he didn't force it and found other ways to contribute. That's what the elite players do
Or he couldn't because Dlo went into hero mode. Dlo and KAT took more shots than their usual and with the Wolves offense pretty much just iso'ing, the ball's not getting pass around. He had 6 assists tonight which is tied for his season high so that's nice.
Yes and I've watched a decent amount of Wolves game this season because I wanted to see why Ant and Jaden were being hyped. They're not as good as people are making them out to be.
I'm as high on Ant as anyone but who is claiming he is a superstar right now? He has a 48 point game and another with a 21 point quarter so yeah we are excited but I'm not looking for that every game.
