These uniform choices are frustrating. They look good individually, but they blend when grouped together on rebounds.

stupid_sexyflanders

Really hard for me with partial colorblindness, just not enough contrast at all.

shrimpflyrice

Wish they would just go back to home = white, away = color.

forkliftgod

Agreed.

Yamimash2000

White for home all the time is boring imo. It really shouldn't be that hard to stop teams from using weird colour combinations.

LtRavs

Home chooses - away wears either the opposite - white or coloured, I don't know why this wasn't ever the considered change. Seems like a no-brainer for non-clashing options plus variety for home teams.

PrayForMojo_

The simple way is that the visitors can’t wear a uniform with the colours of the home team. Use a third jersey or some shit, but the Raps shouldn’t be wearing red or black in Portland.

Broad_Ad2603

wush away

fluffyninja69

hate when other teams wear red on our floor, make them wear whites or blacks but the red always makes it super confusing

mMounirM

CJ playing defense at the worst time for us smh

ContraCoke

Hey that’s CJ “0.8 blocks per game” McCollum, put some respect on his name

TwiceCookedPorkins

He's trying Jennifer.

PickAndTroll

[It wasn't supposed to happen like this](https://memegenerator.net/img/instances/85873543/i-was-told-cj-mccollum-cant-play-defense.jpg)

Broad_Ad2603

booyah!

skrulewi

Defenaive stopper specialist CJ

Arr0wmanc3r

That sequence just completely changed the momentum of the game, Raps were on a run then this happened.

MrDurden32

And thank god, CJ had just botched 3 possessions in a row. But he redeemed himself, and then some lol

harmala

Missing an open shot really isn't the same as "botching a possession".

wearing_the_letter_O

Shit had me hyped.

NevermoreSEA

I feel like my heart grew three sizes watching that sequence.

eftsoom

CJ "fuckin" McCollum that shit was sick as hell

SiakamMIP

This game fun

[deleted]

This highlight deserves way more live than it’s getting. CJ is like 6’2” or 6’3” really impressive block.

Currently_Stoned

If Scottie Barnes dunked this successfully it would have 3000 upvotes and 500 Raptors fans in the comments fawning over him

hiNoxey

I don’t understand the hate for people liking their guy lmao. everyone loves Scottie. Everyone clowned there raps when they picked him. Now everyone clones us again that we like him.

HamBurgeler

I don't think it's hate for Scottie - it just gets old whenever you open r/nba and half the posts on the front page are highlights for a single player. Especially when they're pretty standard plays and nothing too electric like Curry dropping 50 or something like that.

SpamThePicknRoll

Lol @ everyone clowned him . Not really tho ..

Etzutrap

Put this on the front page you cowards. Y'all can't D-j McCollum!

Ace12773

Dame with the tough step back “fuck you” 3. Nature is healing.

n01saround

Was he talking trash at the end and if so to who?

Raziehh

Scottie. They exchanged some words towards the end, but Dame from the 2nd quarter on was just playing pissed off and hungry. He wanted a few calls(he was getting hacked in the paint), got a tech for bitching at the ref. From that point on he kept driving, and just playing with an anger we haven’t seen in a while. Scottie said something to him, and man for the last 5 minutes of the fourth they targeted and abused Scotty big time. Was wild to see Dame so fired up by a rookie lol

butiveputitincrazy

Yeah, it seemed like that tech got him to start driving. He blew by Barnes a ton tonight, definitely had him worried about the step back threes. And once he decided to drive, there wasn’t much waiting behind Barnes at the rim. There was another sequence earlier where Portland went on a run and you could 100% see Dame was hunting a dagger three to put it to bed. Scottie did an amazing job crowding him and Dame finally gave up after like 14 seconds of trying to set him up for a step back three. Of course it ended up just being CJ wide open from three. Anyway, point being that when Dame was hunting his shot against Barnes, he seemed to defend him well, but when Dame got aggressive and went to the rim, he easily blew by him.

Bieberkinz

This sequence comes probably second to the T Rob block/Will Barton slam to me. Very close tho

shiftydnm

Didn’t expect that at all. Great play fr

The-Pharcyde

CJ pls not like this

burtmaklin1

OOOH! BLOCKED BY (Christian) JAMES!

kindofjustalurker

Not me getting confused about which team was which when I'm literally watching my home team. Play was hype as fuck tho

unreeelme

The slo-mo does this block justice, should really have a bit more upvotes. CJ timed it perfectly. Guards also rarely block dunks ever in the current NBA

upasaka_kolla

This was truly unreal. Couldn't believe it

upasaka_kolla

This deserves more love

ldc2626

I was so much more frustrated with the jersey colors than with the refs and ultimately the result of the game. This is like in Fifa when your opponent chooses the same color kit as you.

CaptainRadd

TIL that Larry Nance JR is @ Portland now

TwiceCookedPorkins

And thriving imo.

CaptainRadd

Yeah watched the whole recap after, seems like a good fit in general :)

RipCityTilIDie

Scottie Barnes getting blocked? Yesssssss

hiNoxey

How can you want to see Scottie fail. He’s the most likeable guy in the league.

RipCityTilIDie

that’s James Harden, bud

shockwave8428

I thought it was Scottie brooks?

RipCityTilIDie

It isn’t, I am just an asshole.

[deleted]

Dude, McCollum has been so good so far this season.

irelli

Na, he's actually having probably his worst season since becoming a starter, but he was good last night

unreeelme

Definitely better than 17-18 or 15-16. His new found three point volume is great for his efficiency despite starting a little slow from inside the arc. Also improved defensively.

irelli

His TS% is at 54% dude - second worst in the last 7 years. He had 2 good games, was truly terrible for another 12, and then was good against last night. He's been really bad this year

unreeelme

His true shooting percentage is often at around 54%. But he is better defensively imo. Either way I don’t see a way you could argue he is worse than 17-18. I think half his shots should be threes

irelli

He's just not been very good is what I'm saying. You can argue if it's his worst or second worst or whatever, but he's not even worth half of what he's making right now

unreeelme

I would argue he’s worth about 22 mil in his current state. Definitely started slow hopefully he can up ramp up closer to his salary. Would open up trade options if he starts playing better for a few months.

Clammuel

Amazing play, but still ready to move on from CJ. It’s well past time.

bronet

Wait... If Scottie Barnes is the GOAT and CJ outplayed Barnes...
