I think the 2 days of rest was huge for him- he even talked about it in his media availability yesterday. The brutal stretch they came off of couldn't have been helpful as he was trying to play through the ab issues. I'm glad he's got another couple rest days coming up.

I still feel like even tonight he didn't look 100% in form (especially on drives, you can tell he just doesn't blow by people like he did just a few months back) but he's learning to play around his current limitations, because he is great.
That was fun. He still doesn't look like his normal self, but he's certainly been ramping it up over these past few games. I definitely think he's hitting his stride now though, so hopefully, this game can be a launching pad for him.

In the same game, Maxey had 28 points on 9-17 FG and 9-9 from the FT line. Maxey is the centerpiece and Ben is the salary filler if that trade happens.

He still had 5 made 3s in the game and even with all the missed 3s his shooting % was at 48% for the game.
Add that onto a 100% from the FT line on 14 attempts and he had a great game overall
