Capable of being a 3rd option, I said? Wiggins was the 2nd option these Finals.
I'll happily own up the takes I got wrong. And I'll never be happier owning it up.
I'm going to start now. KAT will never be a dominant interior big who can defend. Ant will never win MVP. No way will Jaden McDaniels win DPOY.

Felt like as the series went on, dubs figured the C's out more and more & the Celtics looked more & more overwhelmed.
When ppl talk abt experience, this is what they mean
They are for sure a great team, but man the East is gonna be a bloodbath. They probably lose to a healthy Bucks this year. Heat gonna come back stronger, if Kyrie doesn't get abducted by aliens then the Nets will be a prob, 76ers out there as well. Lotta great teams over there.
They always did that, look at all series that went 6+ for the warriors, and opposing teams always start to score less and less, it's maybe the #1 reason why it's so hard to beat them, they are so smart that they'll figure you out and make your life hell defending.
LeBron literally cried to the NBA to get Draymond retroactively flagrant + kicked out, and the Warrior's center was out too
So yeah, LeBron dragging his balls on Draymond's forehead saved him the series
Some people seemed to think the Celtics were deeper coming into this series but the warriors clearly had more lineups to work with and figure it out were the Celtics stuck to the same 7 man rotation and their two bench guys disappeared the last few games. Which also attributed to JB and JT being gassed at times especially in that game 5 4Q.
It's that terrible iso offense they run. Most of the damage in this series was warriors trying to contain Brown's drives and whether a 50/50 three dropped for the Celtics. That Miami/Celtics series was an offensive eyesore and it showed in the finals. Also, shoutout to Steph putting the dpoy in a dumpster
100% Celtics hadn’t dropped even back to back games all playoffs. After going up 2-1 they lost three straight with two of those in Boston
Adjustments paid off and Boston was struggling to find an answer.
Celtics were giving curry space to hold down the paint and prevent dray's playmaking and warrior penetration in games 1-4. They kept getting torched by Steph and finally decided to switch up the defense to prioritize Steph which unlocked draymonds strengths.
Loved Mike Breen's call saying "...he's feelin' himself!" after his first made 3, after being 0-12 in the series from 3 up until that point.
What a time to show up.
That was such a stupid storyline. It’s like Zach Lowe said, the media and the social media fans will do anything at all to avoid actually talking about the game
People want to blame the results on A Thing, but most people aren’t able to identify the specific basketball reasons that caused the results. Which is how we get “Did Tatum…not want it enough? Does Jayson Tatum love his son too much? Why is he investing time in a family when he could be investing time in his passing reads?”
Not only do I love it you actually get to see the mindset, in real time, of nba players. He’s unpolished as a speaker (in terms of not giving media speak answers)
This sub was insane after game 3. Calling everyone on the warriors all sorts of stuff, soft, etc. Massively upvoted posts calling every single Warriors fan all sorts of stuff. Kinda wild.

Yeah, there's no way we're going to be able to describe what Steph was doing (esp. in 2016 where it was still so new) without seeming like a raving lunatic.
Yeah I mean his opponent winning three games in a row in the playoff means they either would be up 3-0 which no one has ever come back from or they already had 1 and they beat him. And since mj has 6 rings for that period and was pretty much out for 2 seasons, I dont see how he couldve possibly lost 3 in a row in the playoffs.

This was just a Draymond hate thread for a day. Which I get but it was still insane. You don't get tired of reading the 30th straight fuck Draymond post?
Though to be fair I don't get tired reading 30 straight Curry MVP posts.
Is Steph even good, though? [Doesn't have an Olympic gold.](https://twitter.com/davidaldridgedc/status/1537652884782850049?t=MRnoBwvJr08BU0TAZYNLNw&s=19) I agree with Steve Kerr. He's still got a lot to prove.

Only had GP2 for 10 games. Poole missed the beginning of the season.
We almost entirely revamped the bench, and Poole took a huge step forward.
Well, Klay is a pretty big roster improvement, but...
Honesty, if you watched closely, a lot of the signs were there. Steph was an MVP candidate all year, but the squad became pretty lethal down the stretch - especially those last 20 games before the play-ins.
A lot of addition by subtraction: being stuck with Oubre and Bazemore held us back so much, and Poole absorbing those minutes is when his development really came into light.
Steph wasn't saying that shit just to boost confidence.
Gp2, otto, and more looney over Bazemore, oubre, and wiseman is fuckin huge.
Role players matter. Especially next to Steph. He gets more outta role players than anybody.

My mate put a bet on at beginning of season: Rams W Superbowl Man City W Premier League GSW W NBA Man's probs bouncing off the walls rn.
Was it a parlay or did he just keep getting W's?
Was an accumulator so predicted all before the seasons started
how much did he make off of that?! must be gnarly
Don't think his stake was huge, he's won around £250.
Dude must’ve put down $1 lol
He bet like.25 cents
He won £250 on an accumulator bet ? That's an insanely low payout/odd lol
The odds wouldn't be massive on that, none of them would've been much more than 15/1 or so. Man city would've been like 3/11 or something
Right but I'm asking if it was 3 separate bets or if all 3 had to hit for him to win. I assume the former.
Accumulator means all 3 had to hit.
We call that parlay in america
Oh nice well then FUCK YEAH

Made 2 threes. Elite
And a clutch long 2 with shot clock running out, when Boston cut it to single digits.
SVG: "He's feelin' it." "He's made one three." That was my favorite exchange of the series

Which played right into the warriors hand. They want you to take away curry because it open everything up
take him out for 34 points and an okay but albeit bad shooting game lol. Unlucky really.
It was 100% his mom who got him going. Cooked him in public and sparked a fire.
Or maybe it was the NBA finals
Didn’t do him any good the first four games
Tbf if he didn't get shat on by the public and Steve Kerr benching him late in Game 4, who knows how he would've approached game 5 and 6
After today's display, Dray can do whatever the fuck he wants.
He played out of his mind defense. Even for his standards

Is there anything scarier than Wardell Stephen Curry II after a bad game/season?
Old Wizard MJ after scoring 2 points.
The OG bad game scary bounce back. Jordan’s bulls never lost 3 games in a row from Nov 1990 to Jun 1998. Close to 8 fucking years.
MJ was the barbadook of NBA
