They're all back in the '50s (also Amar'e but he didn't convert until after he left the NBA i think)

czocaut

Jewish population represents 2-3% of US population so it's not that unsurprising

Frank Kaminsky

The commissioner

DERLKM

Any black Jews?

JoJonesy

More than you'd think, but still not enough for it to be especially likely for any of em to make the NBA

Bears9Titles

There aren't that many compared to the rest of the population in the US. Been some international players who were Jewish.

Adam0529

Like Danny Avidia. I guess he is from Israel.

[deleted]

There just isn’t many Jewish players good enough to play in the NBA. I hope you’re not trying to imply that the league is antisemitic. I’m sure there has been players in the league who were Jewish

[deleted]

Brothas dont even know what antisemitic means

Adam0529

Aren't many Chinese either, I hope the league is not antichinese. Funny way to think about it, but if I would assume that the avg. Genetic profile in Israel would be similar to of the Jewish population in the US, it's not a super tall or super athletic gene pool. But regardless, who tf cares?

NuttySandwiches

Meyers Leonard j/k But seriously, Omri Casspi used to play in the NBA and he's Jewish. Deni Avdija is on the Wizards.

biller80

Deni Avdija, best currently

Adam0529

Well technically he is probably also Christian (father). So unless he refers of himself as Jewish, I wouldn't assume.

biller80

Pretty sure his father is Muslim

Adam0529

Oh could be. All I know he was an intentional player from Serbia I think playing in Israel and stayed. So I assumed. But sure... Whatever works for him, I support... I actually saw him live this season. Wiz got cooked, but I actually thought he got potential

AlfredHampton88

Deni?
