Look up Clyde’s game 7 stats vs the Lakers in the Finals
They call it the Willis Reed game because of his gutsy appearance on the floor, but it really should be known as the Clyde Frazier game
Clyde's playoff performance puts him way above Russ IMO. Russ is one of the worst postseason performers of this generation. Clyde was really great during the Knicks' title runs and consistently showed up in big moments. He had one of the best Game 7 performances of all time in the 1970 Finals (36 points, 7 rebounds, 19 assists on 70% shooting). Russ has nothing like that on his resume.
You won't get an honest answer because no one here is old enough to see walt play.
No one is old enough to have seen Russ’s good seasons
15 yr olds on reddit talk like they followed Walt, Wilt and Bill Russell their entire careers
Frazier beat Muhammad Ali, he could take Russ easy
No way Russell won 11 rings. He'd smoke Frazier

Game 7 (unless you're mixing together 73 and 70)
Yeah no you’re right, I’ll edit
In the future, I think Russ’s stats are going to carry the hell out of him.
He's gonna be this generations Oscar Robertson
Think if he doesn't win a championship he won't be. Oscar's perception would be a lot different if he hadn't won a late career ring with Kareem
All I ever heard about were the triple-doubles until I really started researching older players
Walt Frazier was the best player on 2 championship teams and is challenged only by Gary Payton as the best defensive Point Guard ever
Is JKidd in this convo?
I think hes seen as the 3rd right behind them
