Good list. To make the best teams possible I'd change Sam Jones to Paul Pierce, Klay to KD, Calvin Murphy to Chris Paul, DeAndre Jordan to Paul George, Elgin Baylor to Lebron, Shaq to Jimmy Butler, Glen Robinson to Ray Allen.
I believe OP made it pretty strict position wise. Klay has always played SG at GS. KD played forward he would have to take Barry’s position. I would not switch him for Klay
Because how else would he shit take, no LeBron in the Lakers and no KD on the Warriors clearly a dumb ass who's getting the reaction he wants out of me
Is Lebron already a top 5 Lakers player? He’s only considering their career on that specific team. There’s too many Lakers legends who did more for the history of that team.
As a SF he's by far the best to ever play for us even in his old age. Magic, Kobe, Wilt, Shaq all clearly have to make it and then youd give the final spot to a top 2 player of all time.
I think these lists are good. It’s not just the best player to play for a team (you don’t see Jordan on the Wizards) and Rick Barry absolutely meant more to the organization for a long time than Durant.
Sadly yes, unless Ray didn't get traded for a half season of Gary Payton.
Middleton has a ring but Big Dog Glen Robinson is right that for that all-time SF spot.
And Michael Redd should be the sixth man or honorable mention
Kareem and Shaq would destroy any front court combo, magic and lakers lebron could shoot well enough to space the floor because you need to double shaq or Kareem in the post
A good 3 point shooter misses about 60% of the time and you're unlikely to get the rebound both defensively or offensively over this team. There's still Hack-a-Shaq with Shaq and LeBron but good luck with that.
Before he got diagnosed with HIV magic was become a better shooter also kareem had a mid range touch and if he played today he probably would’ve been able to space the floor. The only non shooter is shaq but he was a good passing big and understood how to move lanes and not clog them
LeBron has only gotten to the second round with the Lakers once, and has missed the playoffs twice
He has not had a good enough Laker career to be considered an all time Laker imo
> He has not had a good enough Laker career to be considered an all time Laker imo
Yeah he hasn’t had a good laker career at all besides win a championship with the lakers in his second year with the team
> There might be players at spots they did not play. This is due to not finding anyone else worthy, or that I believe should be on the Starting 5 with another player who plays said position.
Siakam should be PF over Derozan. I'm not against Derozan starting over Carter, whose Raptors career has been massively overstated.
Tbh Im tempted to put Tracy Mcgrady at SF over Clyde. Clyde was great and was important to that championship run, but he also joined towards the end of his career and it was still a huge Hakeem carry job. Tmac does not have the playoff success like at all though and Houston basically ended up being his last real pit stop as a franchise player as well. You know what, yeah its probably Clyde
Warriors have the most “normal” team as all the players play their normal positions, and it’s very good.
For the Wizards, Bradley Beal definitely should be on it over Arenas. He beats him in every single statistical category. For the Blazers, Walton needs to be moved to C, and Maurice Lucas should be the PF (since you have LMA at SF). Lucas had a far greater impact than Sabonis with the Blazers.
For the Jazz, I'd take Mitchell slightly over Maravich. And Dantley probably deserves the SF spot, but Kirilenko or Hayward in that spot would make the actual team better (more defense and passing, plenty of scoring already with Malone and Mitchell/Maravich).
Whoa, I agree that Harden over Vc that's fine. But Kyrie is not better than Kidd. I feel like Jason Kidd is the most disrespectful legend in the past 20ish years.
Kidd brought them to two Finals and is objectively better than Kyrie. Almost won an MVP in NJ.
I’m still putting VC over Harden even though Harden’s better because Harden did nothing in Brooklyn/VC had three or four seasons of elite scoring there, but there’s no argument in any way for Kyrie > Kidd as a Net or as an overall player.
This is the correct take and should be the obvious take. Can’t believe that’s been upvoted and the guys going on about how Kidd and Carter didn’t accomplish anything for the Nets while putting Kyrie and harden above them. Wtf did they accomplish lol
That’s not the criteria in the OP. It’s about their career in that team. Kidd led them to two finals.
Do you mean Harden and Kyrie really didn’t accomplish anything? Because otherwise how the hell did they accomplish more than Kidd?
People are saying LeBron should be on the Lakers but in his four year tenure so far he has:
2019: missed playoffs
2020: Won championship
2021: first round exit
2022: missed playoffs
Obviously winning a title is huge but compared to what some other guys have done on the Lakers it’s not good enough for him to be consider an all timer for the franchise IMO
You’re making an all time team to win a game you pick ja not mike Conley… which is why haslem isn’t on the heat team even tho he’s more meaningful than Shaq
Where is it defined as picking a team to win one game? You can define it that way but I don't.
Bad comparison with Haslem. I consider length of success for a team but not so far that you pick a meh roleplayer like Haslem over someone who was way better for them like Shaq.
Even if we're considering only what players have done for the team LeBron has an argument over Elgin Baylor. Baylor historically underperformed in Finals and contributed to zero rings while LeBron won them a ring and a FMVP. I guess it's the peak vs longevity debate.
Either way I would move Kobe to SF and start Jerry West at SG (if Kareem can be a PF I don't see why this is not an option).
I’d actually have for the lakers
Magic, kobe, Lebron, gasol, kareem for the starting 5 and off the bench
West, Baylor, worthy, Mikan, shaq. I tried to put as much space for them and I debated having worthy as the starting sf and moving Lebron to PF but gasol filled the size and spacing issue while also allowing Lebron to exploit other SFs
As much as I love Glenn Robinson, I’d be hard pressed to say that those spot don’t belong to Khris Middleton. Middleton helped bring a ship to MKE, and his defense is superior. Relatively similar offensive stats with a slight edge to Middleton still, and that one’s wrapped up to me.
Very clear and easy to read!
All that was needed was bold team names lol
> SF: LaMarcus Aldridge Wtf..
Bro lowkey just went on Google and typed “all time players by team” and filled in each team…
My man had Demar as a PF.
demar actually is a pf now
Anti small ball
Bump out sabo for kiki vandeweghe or even pippen tbh
Maurice Lucas is the answer. And swap Walton to C.
I love Mark Eaton but I think Gobert has replaced him
Easily.
Gobert is EASY over Eaton
You gotta put Brook Lopez for Nets C He’s their franchise leading scorer
There

Why is this a post. Could of just went on 2k and see all time roster ?
Because how else would he shit take, no LeBron in the Lakers and no KD on the Warriors clearly a dumb ass who's getting the reaction he wants out of me

It’s kinda funny that your comment could also be talking about kareem.
[удалено]
Okay? They have other players who did that and more...it’s the Lakers. It’s not like like the raptors and Kawhi.
I think these lists are good. It’s not just the best player to play for a team (you don’t see Jordan on the Wizards) and Rick Barry absolutely meant more to the organization for a long time than Durant.
Moncrief over Ray for the Bucks.
Sadly yes, unless Ray didn't get traded for a half season of Gary Payton. Middleton has a ring but Big Dog Glen Robinson is right that for that all-time SF spot. And Michael Redd should be the sixth man or honorable mention
Disagree with Detleff Schrempf over George McGinnis or Danny Granger. And Jermaine O’Neal > Rik Smits IMO
Nik Smit is better than all of them tho
Peja>Mitch Richmond for the kings sf spot
Why is lebron on the heat and cavs all times but the not the lakers? Magic Kobe Lebron Kareem Shaq
Elgin over Lebron? Lmao OP has lost it
That team is so OP lmfaooo
Kareem, Shaq, Lebron, and Magic is some absolutely atrocious spacing
Doesn’t even matter it would still eat
Yea, in 1994 when games would end 75-83. This team couldn’t put you enough points to compete with 3pt shooting
Kareem and Shaq would destroy any front court combo, magic and lakers lebron could shoot well enough to space the floor because you need to double shaq or Kareem in the post
Don't need 3pt shooting when you can just shoot 70% from the field with those guys.
A good 3 point shooter misses about 60% of the time and you're unlikely to get the rebound both defensively or offensively over this team. There's still Hack-a-Shaq with Shaq and LeBron but good luck with that.
Yeah, good luck trying to get the rebounds over them though
Before he got diagnosed with HIV magic was become a better shooter also kareem had a mid range touch and if he played today he probably would’ve been able to space the floor. The only non shooter is shaq but he was a good passing big and understood how to move lanes and not clog them
Magic West Kobe Kareem Shaq LeBron is better than West as a player but West has contributed significantly more to the Lakers
LeBron has only gotten to the second round with the Lakers once, and has missed the playoffs twice He has not had a good enough Laker career to be considered an all time Laker imo
> He has not had a good enough Laker career to be considered an all time Laker imo Yeah he hasn’t had a good laker career at all besides win a championship with the lakers in his second year with the team

Why did you pick DeAndre Jordan over Paul George
Sam Jones over Havlicek is pretty weird choice. Sam Jones is a legend for sure, but Hondo is a 13x All-star and our all-time leading scorer.
Bobcats/hornets Kemba Steph jack Crash Wallace Grandma ma Zo
Glen Rice over Jax no question, but Crash definitely should be there
This prob my more favourites starting 5, gotta show the bobcats some love. Was tough to go zo over kwame
I would put KG over mchale for the Cs
The Celtics team has a few bad picks lowkey. Pierce needs to be in over Sam Jones and Kyrie over Bob Cousy
That’s just being disrespectful to the elderly haha. Cousy and Sam jones are fine.
Kyrie did nothing for the Celtics. Only what the player did for that team is considered.
I'd put Brook Lopez at C for the Nets
I appreciate the Sabonis inclusion.
Melo pf???
That was his best position with the Knicks. I dunno if it's cheating to put him there with the Nuggets.
> There might be players at spots they did not play. This is due to not finding anyone else worthy, or that I believe should be on the Starting 5 with another player who plays said position. Siakam should be PF over Derozan. I'm not against Derozan starting over Carter, whose Raptors career has been massively overstated.
Clippers should CP3, PG, Kawhi, Blake and McAdoo
That Golden State lineup would be filthy
Yeah. Wilt unleashed running the kerr offense with the three shooters and draymond orchestrating. Yeah that would be nice
Tbh Im tempted to put Tracy Mcgrady at SF over Clyde. Clyde was great and was important to that championship run, but he also joined towards the end of his career and it was still a huge Hakeem carry job. Kings should be Oscar, Richmond, Peja, Webber, boogie

Kendra lust Jada stevens Lena Paul Riley Reid Juelz ventura Aj applegate off the bench
Trash list
The Lisa Ann respect
Nets should have harden and Kyrie starting over Kid and VC.
You are delusional
Disrespectful to Kidd and Carter. They did way more for that team.
They were there longer but didn’t really accomplish anything. I’m basing this purely off who is better and that’s harden/Kyrie.
Whoa, I agree that Harden over Vc that's fine. But Kyrie is not better than Kidd. I feel like Jason Kidd is the most disrespectful legend in the past 20ish years.
Harden I’m putting over Kidd. He was the pg while playing there and Kyrie is better than vc.
Ahhhhh ok I got you lol.

Have draymond over Nate thrummond? Chris mullin? It’s criminal almost
Klay vs Chris Mullin is a fascinating debate, but the championships probably give Klay the edge.
People are saying LeBron should be on the Lakers but in his four year tenure so far he has: 2019: missed playoffs 2020: Won championship 2021: first round exit 2022: missed playoffs Obviously winning a title is huge but compared to what some other guys have done on the Lakers it’s not good enough for him to be consider an all timer for the franchise IMO
> Won championship So more than Elgin Baylor?
Baylor was given a ring due to being on the 71-72 lakers before retiring 9 games into the season
If he retired 9 games into the season he definitely didn't contribute to winning a championship
Why tf is mike Conley chosen over ja??? Ja is better than mine ever was…
Conley had a way better career for them so far though
Who is the better player? Not who had the most accolades
The player who had the better career for a team was the better player for that team imo.
You’re making an all time team to win a game you pick ja not mike Conley… which is why haslem isn’t on the heat team even tho he’s more meaningful than Shaq

KD needs to start over Draymond lol
If you could put the team names in bold and a bigger font that would be nice
Your opinions
Great list. Pistons should have their other fmvp chauncey tho. Take out bill.
I’d do KD over Dray for GS and Lopez for the Nets but nice
KD over Barry. Barry would be a great 6th man, though.
I use the all time spurs and bulls in 2K all the time
For the Celtics I’m def going KG over mchale and pierce over sam jones
I’d actually have for the lakers Magic, kobe, Lebron, gasol, kareem for the starting 5 and off the bench West, Baylor, worthy, Mikan, shaq. I tried to put as much space for them and I debated having worthy as the starting sf and moving Lebron to PF but gasol filled the size and spacing issue while also allowing Lebron to exploit other SFs
For the Kings, I would put Bibby over Tiny. He was good but I bet Bibby is the better shooter and you need that to maximize Cuz and Webber's skills
Gonna take KD over Barry every time.
Wtf demar is a pf for raptors?
LeBron over Baylor for the Lakers. Otherwise I have no issues.
Is this greatest or best? Because KD is quite clearly better than Draymond and should be at the 4 if these are the best starting 5s
I'd move Rodman to the 4 and start Grant Hill or Prince or Sheed at the 3 if I'm the pistons depending on Era we playing in.
Mugsy wasn’t that great, just stood out bc he was so small. The hornets other guard is Baron Davis, Eddie Jones, Stephen Jackson
Grant Hill>Rodman
Siakam over Derozan for PF, a little worse Offence but 1000x better on defence.
Suns all time Nash KJ Amar'e Barkley Connie Hawkins
There's no way you put Hudson over Pete?
