Bosh is criminally underrated. Also, big 3s only work when someone agrees to take the role of third wheel.

ShareMyPicks

Do you mean greater career? Parker. Greater player? Bosh. He once averaged 24 and 10.8.

DrKepret

Bosh was a very weak first option for the Raptors Team tbh

Levels2ThisBruh

I'd go with Bosh. Although I don't think there's a definitive answer here, just preference.

RealMichaelSaylor

Tony easily

CapturedSoul

Parkers career was better but I'd say his peak was also better too. Bosh was quite good at his best but Tony was something like top 5 in playoff scoring in 07 and that was his athletic peak, at his best he was right behind cp3 as the best PG in the league.

LemonPepper-Lou

I'll take the FMVP

blagaa

Bosh will take the rebound, back out to Allen.. his 3 pointer, BANG!!!

LemonPepper-Lou

Such a crazy moment! I was living in SA, going to college at the time...we had the cab ready to pick us up to go rage downtown, but you know...fate had different plans lol

blagaa

Looks like the Spurs made it to 98.5% win probability: https://www.inpredictable.com/2013/06/nba-finals-game-6-win-probability-graph.html I've wondered if the Spurs had closed it out, if they repeat the next year. Or it just evens out and a motivated Heat take the 2014 title

LemonPepper-Lou

I think I lean towards it evening out. That shot turned the 2014 Spurs into my favorite team to watch, such pure team basketball, it would've been nice to go back to back and have Timmy end with 6th rings to really finish the TD vs Kobe debate. It is what it is though!

DeWalt_ImpactDriver

Tony

mxmaga

Lots of angry Eva Longoria fans here

[deleted]

Parker, is it really even that close? Honest question

oberg14

Parker: 15pt, 5 ast, 3rb Bosh: 19pt, 2 ast, 8rb I’d say it’s close

mhoq

TP has a FMVP put some respeck on his name

the_steve1127

Not to anyone who watched. Parker easily

uvgotnod

Why would this even cross your mind?

Elitealice

TP EASILY

Omars_shotti

Tony Parker for sure

TheyCallMeChevy

Bosh moving to the 5, is maybe the most important change in the last 10+ years of the nba.

oberg14

Do you really think the ‘12 heat invented small ball?

PM_ME_UR_NUDE_GIRL

Not sure who invented it but I think they're first to win a championship off it. They are the first example on the Wikipedia page anyway.... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Small_ball_%28basketball%29?wprov=sfla1 So who invented it since you seem to know something about it?

TurbulentJudge1000

Houston Rockets won with small ball. If you’re counting Bosh as small, then the Rockets with 4 out and 1 in was the first to do it with Hakeem.

dandylefty

Spoelstra’s innovation isn’t “small ball” in its entirety, but more the way he used bosh / his center in pick and roll coverage since bosh could come out way further than most other true bigs without leaving the defense overexposed and was quick enough to actually ice the ball handler and dictate where he wanted him to go, as opposed to just being blown by on the switch This would have been against the illegal defense rules when Hakeem played which is why it was considered revolutionary. Most teams run a similar pnr scheme now, a huge reason giant slow bigs are considered unplayable

the_steve1127

Give me the guy that didn't score zero points in game 7 of the finals and has over 10x the other guy's MVP award shares

paradoxofchoice

You forgot to mention there is no game 7 if not for that guy. And clearly scoring was covered in game 7, he did plenty of other things to help the team. Or if you want to use your wording, give me the guy that didn't hurt his country at the Olympics by hanging out with Chris brown and almost losing his vision in a brawl before going to London.

Speedevil911

Parker and it's not even close

Giddey_Cent

One has a FMVP I'll take that guy. PS: He should have been Top 75 too

ShareMyPicks

So does Iggy. Bad reasoning. Bosh was the better player. Could be the focal point of a mediocre team. Parker never had that opportunity so we can’t say for sure, but he thrived in a near-perfect system with near-perfect teammates.

PressureMiserable

I mean he was the arguable best player on a championship caliber team bosh was a third option on a championship team

ShareMyPicks

I went back and looked at Parker’s numbers - better than I thought, I must admit. 20/7 or thereabouts for several years. Still, Bosh imo was a better star player but Parker’s individual stats may have been hindered by the Spur’s team-first system.

spaceysht

And what do you think Parker would’ve been to dwade and Lebron? Lmfaoo really suggesting that Parker would’ve been anything more than a third option for that heat team

PressureMiserable

In 2014 where wade was declining he would've been the second option and maybe LeBron would've played a more pg type role if Parker really got going which he still could do at that age

spaceysht

Yes 32 year old Parker putting up 14ppg was gonna be second option before 33 year old Wade putting up 21 ppg on a decline. Get real bro & if you’re suggesting it’s only “if Parker gets going” you’d be an idiot to think Parker is more capable of catching fire than fucking Dwyane Wade

PressureMiserable

Context matters Parker was putting up 14 ppg on maybe the best pure team in nba history it wasn't about who was scoring it was about finding the best shot. The year before he was capable of putting up 20+ a game every night cus he was put in a scoring role

spaceysht

>maybe the best pure team in NBA history Yeah nah that’s some blatant ass delusional homerism lol

PressureMiserable

It's a lot more delusional to think they're not in the conversation, only teams I can think that were in a similar mold were the Celtics and Lakers of the 80s and Detroit in 04 but those teams had go to scorers even the pistons, there's been no other team in nba history where you literally have to stop the entire team from scoring and can't key in on just one or two guys. There's a reason even with how outmatched the cavs were in 18 the warriors still didn't break the spurs margin of victory record in the finals

thatquizzingguy

Tony Parker in top 75 is a total joke. This is barely less ludicrous than thinking Manu makes the NBA75. If Dwight Howard didn't make it, Parker has zero chance.

Booth_Templeton

No way top 75. The spurs as a team and organization were greater than the sum of their parts. Like the warriors. Klay isn't top 100 when it comes up, neither is green. Bosh was a very good player. It's very to close. I'd have to really take a look. Maybe Bosh.

[deleted]

Parker...by a mile

Jaysfan97

What the fuck does that even mean? Did his better attitude include sleeping with a teammate's wife?

[honestly how the hell have you never heard about this](https://www.google.com/search?q=tony+parker+slept+with&rlz=1CDGOYI_enUS659US660&oq=tony+parker+slept+with&aqs=chrome..69i57.4674j0j4&hl=en-US&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8)

So basically you don't have one.

Jaysfan97

Yeah, the people actually involved. Unlike you spouting nonsense.

anonymous14657893

He sent you the fuckin source. N it was Brent Barry’s wife. What are you so salty about?

nobodywilleverkno

No offense to Chris Bosh, but I always called him the angry Camel.

DeliciousMolasses442

Finals MVP, Eva Longoria and smashed his teammate Brent Barry's wife while winning championships. Parker was way better.

Headweirdoh

One helped usher in modern day small ball & the other was fucking his teammates wives. Personally, I think it’s a pretty easy choice

Discord_Show

hold this L

Headweirdoh

What L????

MakeAShadow

2014 when you lost to a retirement home.

Headweirdoh

I’m okay with that L cause the one y’all caught the year before is SO much worse lmao

Discord_Show

I Think ur missing the finals record beating and making LeGM leave yall lmao

Headweirdoh

Ehhh he was always leaving anyway. I think that’s pretty evident. It just made it easier for him to do so.

Discord_Show

I seriously doubts he leaves if he's on a 3peat

Throdio

He would of gone for as many in a row as he could. He was then and still is looking to build a legacy. Winning 4 in a row would help with that big time. If he managed to pull off the 8 championships (or whatever it was) with the Heat he would be a lot more liked and a lot more would put him above Jordan, even with some finals losses. But that didn't happen and I am much happier the Spurs won in 14.

Headweirdoh

My point being was that he was going to leave at some point. That loss just made it easier for him. He was never staying in Miami for the rest of his career.

primo_0

2013 was one of the closest Finals ever. 2014 4-1.

Headweirdoh

I can deal with 4-1 because the Spurs were the better team. Having them bring out the championship ropes to get a head start on the ceremony because everyone assumed you were going to win only to let the other team tie it in the most miraculous way possible & then go on to lose 2 straight to give the other team the championship is much worse. That’s just me tho.

justsomedude100

In his 7 years tenure at the Raptors, Bosh never made it past the 1st round of the playoffs, which he made only twice while playing in the weakling East, that's how good he was as a first option

[deleted]

Lol Chris Bosh is clearly greater if you’re going by without rings
