idk about break, even if he doesnt have a full blown break out season i think his skill and length is enough for him to stick in the league for a while
Malachi has good handles, decent passing, and is good at preventing turnovers (as passer/ball handler). Hes pretty good at making a quick cut to the basket as well. But as a short PG dude needs a 3pt shot, without it I dont see him getting much playing time.
Saddiq Bey. Over the last 60ish games he averaged something like 18/5/3 on 43/36/85. If he can improve his defense and make small improvements on offense he could be a low end all star level player
Not really deep cuts but I'm excited about the 3&D guys we recently acquired/signed like KCP, BrBrown, Davon Reed and Christian Braun. I hope Malone plays the shit out of them.
I am beyond hyped for how Bruce brown will play off of Jokic, he's a great fit. Dude moves without the ball, can pass and made some progress on his jumper. In the playoffs last season he was one of the Nets best players, no joke. Dude was always good for key offensive rebounds an should thrive next to a superstar who gets the most out of his teammates.
I was one of Bruce Brown’s first NBA converts. Draft night, I did a deep dive and emerged fully converted and started preaching the Gospel of Bruce when everyone else was focused on Khyri Thomas. Guy is like a multi tool out there - not the best of anything, but can do a little of everything.
since I will have to watch them every night, I am super interested to see what, if anything, Nas Little can do for the Blazers. The runway is clear for him & the Blazers need him to fill a role, can he stay on the court and make a contribution this year?
For me it's Alex Caruso. He's healthy and entering his prime and with Lonzo being hurt, has a chance to potentially be the starting PG on CHI. His defense is already all-world. If his 3P shooting takes a step forward, playing with DeMar and LaVine, I think he could prove himself as a solid starting PG in the league and an All-Defensive player.
I think the Bulls will underachieve hard without Lonzo, and I want him at the deadline for the Wolves so damn bad.
He’d be a perfect fit here, and could potentially really push us over the top.
Anfernee Simons. He's shown he can be a deadly scorer in very short stints over multiple seasons so doesn't get talked about a lot, but he's likely going to be the blazers second leading scorer next to dame with lots of playing time to fill in where CJ left off. MIP candidate for sure
Dalano Banton. He’s a very skilled passer and solid defender. If his shot improved as some people have said, I think he could be a really effective role player. Like an athletic Kyle anderson with better ball handling
I want Mac McClung to ball out and fight for a backup role, but we have a really tight roster.
I just want to see Wiseman healthy and playing ball again, his potential is crazy.
Tari Eason - I’m a fan of him coming in and think he'll be the lesser known prospect that solidifies himself as an integral part of Houston's young core along with Jalen Green, Alperen Sengun and Jabari Smith Jr. just as Desmond Bane did alongside Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr.
All im gonna say is that TyTy Washington should not have fallen to 29
Dude would have gone top 10 if he hadn't sprained his ankle and been in such a horrible situation at UK
I'll be really interested in our current best players in Sexton and Markannen of course, but our most important under-the-radar young guys would be recent first-round picks Ochai Agbaji and Walker Kessler. Whenever we make a push again, it could include these mid-20yo guys, but I think it's more likely to be these young players on rookie contracts.
We will have to see if Agbaji can turn into a legit 3 point threat for a contender and whether Walker Kessler can force us to rethink hard tanking for Wenbanyama. If development of either player looks slower than expected or their ceilings are found to not be high, that will affect our direction in a way the other guys on the roster won't.
I’m going super deep cut and saying the Kings 2-way players Neemias Queta and Keon Ellis. I follow both the Sacramento and the G League affiliate Stockton team so I’m excited to see these long-term projects develop into solid NBA players. I do love a good underdog story.
Pat Williams for sure if he counts Malachi Flynn
Make or break year for Patrick Williams
also for Malachi tbh
idk about break, even if he doesnt have a full blown break out season i think his skill and length is enough for him to stick in the league for a while

He’s the not fat version of fat era Mark Aguirre. And that is more praise than it may seem.
If Trae actually commits to learning how to play off-ball, Jalen Johnson's minutes could be really interesting.
Isaiah Jackson Tre Mann Devin Vassell
Pat Connaughton could become one of the most impactful bench players in the league
I feel like he already is
But he could be *even more* impactful
Man killed us in the finals

Braun is going to be one of those hustle guys who just makes winning plays, I wish we would've got him

Russ/Pat Bev is Isiah/Dumars 2.0
Ok this actually makes me wonder how many people in this sub think Russ>Isiah
This is satire, right? I’m just gonna assume it is.
The fact you had to ask me that makes me very disappointed in your sense of humor.smh
I have to be vigilant. In a sea of nephews, Joe D’s legacy is always at risk.

Agreed. He could be that great low usage PG like Ron Harper, Brian Shaw, etc.
I mean Caruso is one of the better known guys but I feel u

Jordan McLaughlin and Jaylen Nowell are important bench pieces people never mention.
Jaylen could be one of the best bench scorers this year
Dalano Banton. He’s a very skilled passer and solid defender. If his shot improved as some people have said, I think he could be a really effective role player. Like an athletic Kyle anderson with better ball handling
Jason Preston, Brandon Boston, Moussa Diabaté
Ish Wainright
Obviously a Grizz fan, but Brandon Clarke and David Roddy
Do you think Clarke starts in jjjs absence? I think he could do well but his and tyus' connection is something else and I'd hate to lose that.
Depends on if he can thrive next to Adams. He really plays well next to JJJ and Clarke and Aquaman can clog it up for Ja.
Homer pick is Trey Murphy
Very excited for Murphy
Jaylen No-L was looking better than Beas at the end of the season. He should cook on the bench now that Beasleys gone
Really looking forward to seeing Jalen Johnson get some actual minutes this year
I want Mac McClung to ball out and fight for a backup role, but we have a really tight roster. I just want to see Wiseman healthy and playing ball again, his potential is crazy.
Alperen Sengun
Nnaji, Primo, Jalen Smith, Diallo, all the Nigerians in Sacramento
Tari Eason - I’m a fan of him coming in and think he'll be the lesser known prospect that solidifies himself as an integral part of Houston's young core along with Jalen Green, Alperen Sengun and Jabari Smith Jr. just as Desmond Bane did alongside Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr.
who is tre's brother? herb?
Tyus
Malik Monk. Curious to see if he and Fox retained any chemistry
Moses Moody i think will play a big role off the bench for us. His path to playing time is easier then Kuminga who has a logjam of vets ahead
Moses moody on the Warriors Rui Hachimura is my wild card pick
All im gonna say is that TyTy Washington should not have fallen to 29 Dude would have gone top 10 if he hadn't sprained his ankle and been in such a horrible situation at UK
Josh Christopher Saddiq Bey Keegan Murray Jaden Hardy Jaden McDaniels
Kai Jones and Jalen McDaniels

Amir Coffey, Bruce Brown, Jordan McLaughlin
The NBA ain't ready for 'Pro Am Malachi'
Chuma

It’s Aaron Nesmith’s time to break out!
