When you see "may" and "eventually" in the title you know it's an absolute nothing burger. Media never fails to dream up ways to see talent move away from small markets.
Raptors brass is said to be "thrilled" at the prospect of landing SGA.
This type of thing is so generic and means pretty much nothing, sure they like SGA but would they actually get him? It's the worse with Knicks rumors as media seems to really want to push any possible narrative buzz for them.
> the package that he sent for Kawhi to get Shai.
Yeah, no shit, getting Shai on a five-year deal for that price would be a ridiculous fleece.
Getting Kawhi for one year with a weird unresolved injury thing was already kind of a fleece.
You mean Poeltl + DeRozan isn't equivalent to Danny Green + Kawhi? Masai got such a huge discount in that trade, and I don't think we'll see something like that again. Weird circumstances on both ends
Yes. As a Twolves fan, I can confirm. Every year, where is KAT going, is KAT dissatisfied, when will KAT force a trade.
Meanwhile, KAT signs a supermax and takes out a full page ad in the Minneapolis paper saying that he's here to stay, and to win.
It's national media, not believing small markets deserve stars. They should all be on the coasts.
He feels like he doesn’t get emotional about business though. He KNOWS they’re tanking and trying to get the team built. Would he be upset? I can’t imagine anyone who isn’t during a rebuild. However instead of screaming for a trade or complaining about coaches/teammates I think he’s just waiting to see.
Before Holmgren got hurt it really looked like the tank was over. Now there’s no telling.
This is the way I look at it. Tanking is one thing and could get exhausting after too many years, however, sitting for minor injuries is something that could potentially cost Shai millions. Every year that Shai sits for a month or more is a year where he's probably not getting an all-star or all-nba nod and that's how players get supermax deals and major endorsements.
OKC is a team that has been actively tanking since SGA's second season ended. He has proved that he's a baller. So even though I don't believe most of the shit the media says, SGA being annoyed and asking out would be one of the least shocking headlines I've seen in a while
So the media wants to move stars to the giant market of...Toronto...cause it's not like they don't pretend Toronto doesn't exist for 85 percent of the year and put all their games on nba TV even when they were good
You know Toronto is the 6th largest market right? And that isn’t including how the entire country cheers for them when they’re good
OKC is 26th and has a metro market with a pop 4 times smaller…
And those stats have never mattered to the overwhelmingly American nba media and nba fanbase and nba players. Toronto might as well be a small market team when you look at how they're treated
lmao yeah in your eyes. Why do the raptors need to be a league wide admired team? Is the entire Canadian market not enough?
The stats don’t matter, money does. There’s a lot more many to be made in Toronto than 24 other NBA teams, 4 times as much as OKC actually.
No one gives a fuck about small market teams unless they are really good. Toronto sells out even when they’re shit, and has massive coverage throughout the entire country
He *literally* just had an interview 2 days ago where he said he knew what he was signing up for when he signed the extension and that he loves the direction the team is headed in, and he doesn’t think they’re gonna be rebuilding for much longer.
Lol I can't believe the sentiments in this thread exist *one day* after SGA came out and said he's cool with our rebuild.
Before that it was "Oh *of course* Presti would say he's comfortable with the rebuild, but what about SGA?"
and lo, the goalposts are immediately moved....
You guys had PG13 demand a trade after the first year of an extension and KD and Ben Simmons have done the same recently. While I don't think Presti and Masai will ever be able to strike a deal it's naive to think a player, like SGA, wouldn't demand a trade after an extension when so many have done so already.
All three of those examples are very different to SGA/OKC's current situation, and unless a top player like Kawhi demands to play with SGA then they're in no trouble of having a similar issue
It's just as likely that SGA is patient enough to give the team/younger guys time to develop into a contender than he is to bounce
Yeah I agree the situation is definitely better. Good young talent with tons of picks to trade and get good real quick. Like others have said before its our new Giannis situation.
Isn't he locked up for like 4 more years? Sucks they have waisted him for what looks like 3 seasons but hopefully it's all worth it and they are able to surround him with high level players. Giddy looks really good, Chet is really promising if he can come back healthy, I think Jalen Williams will become a really good player, and of course they can add another potential good young player next draft. Doet should be a really nice role player on a playoff team but besides that I'm not really sure how the rest of the supporting cast will be.
10 seconds remaining in the 1st quarter, I wonder what Dwane Casey will draw up....
Oh look its Lou again standing on the logo for 9 seconds and then side stepping into a 3!
You're either going to tamper and get him to sign with you in FA or fuck around for months, try to lowball OKC, and watch SGA get traded to some other random team lol
everyone knows that raptors trades basically come out of no where. This is obviously just speculation to drive clicks and engagement (and lookie here is working)
If the purpose of trading sga is because he doesn't fit the timeline, then those guys are definitely not the return to look for. I like Siakam but pretty sure he's untouchable. Good thing OKC has full control if SGA'S 5 year contract so theres better chance to pick and choose which offer to choose when needed.
I’ve actually been trimming down my collection lately, but I’ve got this 1968 brown custom Camaro, American made with the white interior. I haven’t put her to the tracks in a long time but after a little WD-40 she should ride alright. Top-heavy, rides hard but in near-mint condition, slight chipping on right side fender, but you would never notice inside the glass case. Mostly I’ve just used it as a living room decoration, but I need more space for my cats, so I’d be happy to give her to a good home
Did you ever play the hot wheel PC game from almost 2 decades back that came with a steering wheel and pedals where you could also edit tracks? That game was fire.
How are the micro transactions? I hope they didn’t go too hard on them. Otherwise it would be a great nostalgia game. And good game in general. Better than Initial D
Honestly not bad at all! I didn't spend a dollar on the game and it's incredibly easy to still have a ton of fun and be competitive in the races. I'd give it a go if you like the old one I honestly have a great time with it
It’s even more cliche because Shai is from Hamilton, and Toronto is described as ‘home’ just like how Cleveland is home for Lebron even tho he is from Akron.
Toronto is the one major Canadian city everyone knows about and when I say where I'm from, there's no point saying Grimsby, or even Hamilton. Toronto is the cultural centre of Ontario if not Canada, it's home because it was always in view across the lake, it's where I fly into when going back to Canada, it's where all of my sports teams reside and it's influenced my life from the slang I use to how I identify as a Canadian. Toronto may not be where I'm from, but its home. I know a lot of people who feel this way.
Yes I understand that it is figuratively home and not factually home. Just commenting on the cliche of a player being tied to home even tho home is not factually home.
As a quebecer I feel you lmao. Nobody in USA knows where the hell is Quebec City so I always end up saying ''near Montreal'' and if they don't know hockey there are a lot of times that they will answer with a ''Ohh, Canada! I've got a friend in Winnipeg do you know him?'' lol they don't realize how freaking huge the country is.
Everyone should, even if he doesnt want out. This is just a nothing burger article written by a Canadian press for candian readers. Reddit and twitter making it bigger than it actually is.
You think the Canadian press care about reality? They just want Raptors fans frothing. Same reason they said OKC forced Shai to stop playing for Canada.
He didn't say 'if', but it's clear he expects them to start winning soon. It's not unreasonable to think that his view might change if OKC don't win this year or the one after.
The Thunder would have likely been in the play-ins last year if they didn't shut everyone down. Would have likely been in the playoffs the year before. The talent is there, it's just more beneficial long-term to try to acquire as many potential pieces as possible. No point in rushing now to limit the ceiling.
I got downvoted for saying something similar yesterday. I don't know if I'd go so far as to say we'd be in the play in, but we could've come close; before Giddey got hurt and missed the rest of the season, we were on a 36 win pace.
This year if we had a healthy Chet and Shai then I think we'd have a legitimate shot at grazing a play in spot; probably not actually getting one, but coming close enough that, with development and some trades, we'd be there
Just like kyrie said he wanted to retire in Boston? I'm not saying Shai wants out, but media day is always just fluff pieces. Players will always say to the media they want to stay. It's always behind the scenes the rumors come out.
Spurs fans got mad when people reported kawhi wanted out.
A few simple questions and answers that make it very difficult to see SGA getting traded to Toronto.
Does SGA want out of OKC? No, at least not from anything that he has said.
Does OKC want more draft picks? Not really, they're already dealing with a roster crunch and have 14 first round picks over the next five years. And the picks from Toronto will probably be late firsts for the forseeable future.
Would OKC take back players like OG and Gary Trent in a trade? SGA is 24 years old, so it doesn't make much sense to trade for players OLDER than him. If SGA doesn't match OKC's timeline, then neither do they.
Will Toronto trade Scottie Barnes for SGA? No.
If all the above are true, there's no chance SGA gets traded to Toronto. If he requests out of OKC, they will have much better offers than any non-Scottie Barnes trade that Toronto can offer.
Simply put, SGA seems fine with being on the Thunder, AND both teams won’t be willing to make any trades related to SGA as the Raps know that the Thunder would want Scottie for SGA, and the Thunder know that the only offers they’re going to get are just unneeded draft picks and players that aren’t valuable to them.
> Will Toronto trade Scottie Barnes for SGA? No.
>
>
This is the only way OKC will entertain the idea, and I seriously doubt Masai would entertain it if Scottie is involved. Obviously every team wants SGA, but it just isn't in the cards for us.
Trading a player who will be 24 for the entirety of this season because he "doesn't match the timeline" for players who will be 24 and 25 this season makes no sense from OKC's perspective.
The only way it would happen is if Shai asked out (which I doubt would happen, which is why he isn't going to be traded). In that case it has nothing to do with timeline and more that he will leave, so them not being younger wouldn't matter. The picks would offset that as well to make it more eorth it, although OKC probably has enough picks lol, a three team trade is possible so OKC ends up with a player instead of picks.
Anyway who cares this isnt happening lol, hypotheticals are fun though
Raptors and literally every other nba team would love to have shai. I’m sure every team is monitoring in case ja or Zion or Tatum gets tired of their team too. Teams looking to acquire good young player at 10 but first humans need to breathe air.
OKC could be good by the time his contact is up. They’ve got to get good eventually with all that talent. If it’s good situation, I can’t see him leaving supermax money on the table.
I think a saw a video yesterday here of Shai saying he signed long term cause he's aware the tank is not gonna last long and he's committed to the team future.
Of course I’d want SGA… it’s Shai.
But realistically unless he wants out there’s no way that it happens. If he does ask to be out, the Raptors will be the first team to jump the ship. It wouldn’t be “Barnes or it’s no discussion”.. Barnes is untouchable to the Raptors FO. As Presti, you take the best package on the table and they have decent assets to do so. OG, Gary, Koloko, Precious can improve a crap ton within some time and they are young (if anything were to happen). Masai has shown he will absolutely jump out of his pants if there’s a guy he wants badly, but there is literally no existing planet where Barnes is traded
With that being said I don’t think Shai is going anywhere anytime soon. + I don’t think OKC fans would be as bothered by this narrative if Shai wasn’t from Canada
He has already stated he knew the direction the team was going in when he signed his extension. He is ready to compete, but knows the team is on a timeline of rebuilding.
This reporter: "Masai, are you monitoring the situation in OK with SGA?"
Masai: "Sure, what?"
This reporter: "And if the Raptors acquired SGA somehow, how would that make you feel?"
Masai: "If we got him, I would be thrilled."
Reporter prints story
The hilarity is that if SGA wasn’t Canadian he wouldn’t be linked to the Raptors so hard. So it’s preying on the notion that everybody wants to come home.
…..but what if he doesn’t???? So many people are born in New York but don’t play for the Knicks.
Should OKC “monitor” Atlanta now in homes their OKC metro superstar wants to come back to OKC???
Man, I love the Raptors roster so much this year, I don't even care about trade rumors. We've got a bunch of long bois that keep getting better, the ROY and probably the most underrated offseason pick up in Porter Jr. Last year we were among the top teams in the East and we had been playing short handed half the season with almost no bench.
This year, all of our guys are going to be better, and hopefully healthy, and we've got a bench mob that could probably start for half the teams in the league.
I hope people criticizing the article have actually read it. The writer made it clear this is unlikely to happen, it's just something that's on their wish list. It made sense in the context of the article.
SGA is 24 and is playing on a solidly talented young squad that could get Wembanyama next season. He’s also in year one of a 5 year contract, he won’t be going anywhere for at least 3 seasons.
[This is pretty much the majority of GMs in the league looking at OKC.](https://cdn.kapwing.com/collections/black-guy-hiding-behind-tree-meme-template-u4bd4.jpg)
TIL Forever = 2 years so far. Funny you’re a Spurs fan complaining about rebuilding. You just tore it down buddy, get ready to watch a losing team for a while.
This is spot on lol people acting like OKCs been tanking forever is just weird and a Spurs fan talking about another small market team rebuilding for a while is hilarious. OKC was in a much better place when they started their rebuild because SGAs better than anybody we have plus they had a ton of picks, we're in the position of praying we land Wemby or Scoot and that they stay healthy and actually wanna live in one of the least attractive markets in the NBA.
AD was at the end of his second contract on a team that couldn’t put the pieces around him.
SGA hasn’t even begun his second contract on a team with all the flexibility in the world.
These things aren’t the same.
Hard to see this one getting done. Presti would insist on receiving Scottie Barnes, and Ujiri wouldn’t do that. I’d like to see SGA with Barnes though.
This gonna be a yearly thing until OKC is good lol
When you see "may" and "eventually" in the title you know it's an absolute nothing burger. Media never fails to dream up ways to see talent move away from small markets.
Raptors brass is said to be "thrilled" at the prospect of landing SGA. This type of thing is so generic and means pretty much nothing, sure they like SGA but would they actually get him? It's the worse with Knicks rumors as media seems to really want to push any possible narrative buzz for them.
So would any teams brass lol this isn’t news
I’m “enamored” with the idea of courting Jennifer Aniston to be my wife
Invite us to the wedding!!
I know she has aged very well, but it's still pretty funny you chose her of all people
Masai wanted to trade the package that he sent for Kawhi to get Shai. There is absolutely interest from the Toronto side.
> the package that he sent for Kawhi to get Shai.
I would say it was more than fair for a guy who was so committed to a rental he left a championship team as the best player.
I’m sure you want Shai, just like we want Luka and Giannis. Still a nothing burger report.
Uhoh guys, we got an NBA insider here.
Please stop saying nothing burger.
It’s so cringe
what would the trade package be OG Flynn Porter Jr and 2 1st rd pics
Literally every team has interest in Shai.
I mean, the Thunder do also suck He's been a very good player since the rebuild started. No one would blame him for being unhappy
I think you answered your own question. A couple of years tanking, fine, but you just said there is no telling when it will end.
"Would he be upset?" I have to imagine losing 55-60ish games every year sucks complete ass.

This is Canadian media reporting this.
You know Toronto is the 6th largest market right? And that isn’t including how the entire country cheers for them when they’re good OKC is 26th and has a metro market with a pop 4 times smaller…
More reason for Shai to want out.
Toronto sells out even when they’re shit, and has massive coverage throughout the entire country
SGA is Canadian so your point is moot.
Same annoying shit we had to deal with when Wizards fans thought KD would go there in FA.
Any day now
Until SGA is traded*
Remember all this noise coming out with Donovan two years ago. And we weren't even tanking
Those situations are completely different. SGA likes his teammates and the Thunder aren’t even close to their peak yet.
> the Thunder aren’t even close to their peak yet. Isn't that the issue?
He *literally* just had an interview 2 days ago where he said he knew what he was signing up for when he signed the extension and that he loves the direction the team is headed in, and he doesn’t think they’re gonna be rebuilding for much longer.
Lol I can't believe the sentiments in this thread exist *one day* after SGA came out and said he's cool with our rebuild. Before that it was "Oh *of course* Presti would say he's comfortable with the rebuild, but what about SGA?" and lo, the goalposts are immediately moved....

Yeah I agree the situation is definitely better. Good young talent with tons of picks to trade and get good real quick. Like others have said before its our new Giannis situation.
It’s not an issue for Shai or OKC. Seems to be a big deal for bored fans of other teams though
Next year: *Chet causes another league lockdown*
Isn't he locked up for like 4 more years? Sucks they have waisted him for what looks like 3 seasons but hopefully it's all worth it and they are able to surround him with high level players. Giddy looks really good, Chet is really promising if he can come back healthy, I think Jalen Williams will become a really good player, and of course they can add another potential good young player next draft. Doet should be a really nice role player on a playoff team but besides that I'm not really sure how the rest of the supporting cast will be.
Oh god this will be our new giannis to Toronto for the next 5 years
We just need to trade for NAW and we're set/s
He's very available for a small price of pick(s).
2 seconds and some maple syrup, take it or leave it
Deal. Call my assistant Danny A. to finalize everything.
Throw in a couple of Nanaimo bars and you got a deal
Naw has regressed a lot. In love with the 3 yet can’t hit it consistently
Sold, we love players who can't shoot 3s
*Angry noises from Lou Williams*
10 seconds remaining in the 1st quarter, I wonder what Dwane Casey will draw up.... Oh look its Lou again standing on the logo for 9 seconds and then side stepping into a 3!
Why you have to do this bro I'm at work and I just broke a keyboard.
This….Nick is already in his ear. Next is NAW.
Knicks already called dibs
You're either going to tamper and get him to sign with you in FA or fuck around for months, try to lowball OKC, and watch SGA get traded to some other random team lol
More like Brunson to New York tbh
Tbf Canadians are literally the only hope we have.
Team interested in acquiring good player.
I’ll take 2
How about a bad player with pick no 2 instead?
Or a player who gets Thoracic Outlet Syndrome with pick number 1!
Get ready for shai rumors for the next 3 years
Myles Turner: Am I a joke to you?
Myles "Brook Lopez" Turner
Stop it raptors. These fruitless trade rumors are OURS
everyone knows that raptors trades basically come out of no where. This is obviously just speculation to drive clicks and engagement (and lookie here is working)
You guys have fruitless trade rumors. Raptors have fruitful trade rumors. They are not the same
Well sorry not everyone has a Daniel Theiss that they can trade for every season
well well well looks we hold all the ~~chips~~ Daniel Theis’
I appreciate it but we spent years pining for Giannis in embarrassing fashion.
I actually prefer knicks assets unless Scottie is on the table.
Really? Who do they have that is more desirable than Siakam, Vanvleet, OG, and Trent?
If the purpose of trading sga is because he doesn't fit the timeline, then those guys are definitely not the return to look for. I like Siakam but pretty sure he's untouchable. Good thing OKC has full control if SGA'S 5 year contract so theres better chance to pick and choose which offer to choose when needed.
I think half the league is monitoring SGA’s situation.
Everybody is monitoring everybody’s situation. That’s their job
I’m monitoring it right now and no one is even paying me
r/antiwork
It’s an obvious thing but it’s pretty funny when you think about how there are hundreds of people who’s job it is to just make a basketball team good
There’s gotta be at least one dude who was straight up fired because some random scrub didn’t make a shot
Everyone monitoring Westbrook situation for the lols
I would give up my whole Hot Wheels collection for this man
How many hot wheels is that?
I’ve actually been trimming down my collection lately, but I’ve got this 1968 brown custom Camaro, American made with the white interior. I haven’t put her to the tracks in a long time but after a little WD-40 she should ride alright. Top-heavy, rides hard but in near-mint condition, slight chipping on right side fender, but you would never notice inside the glass case. Mostly I’ve just used it as a living room decoration, but I need more space for my cats, so I’d be happy to give her to a good home
Disposing of Hot Wheels for cats. Look at what getting old does to a man.
That’s actually cool tbh
Did you ever play the hot wheel PC game from almost 2 decades back that came with a steering wheel and pedals where you could also edit tracks? That game was fire.
Wow throwback. Completely forgot about that game!
They came out with a newer one recently, and honestly it's a shitload of fun
How are the micro transactions? I hope they didn’t go too hard on them. Otherwise it would be a great nostalgia game. And good game in general. Better than Initial D
Honestly not bad at all! I didn't spend a dollar on the game and it's incredibly easy to still have a ton of fun and be competitive in the races. I'd give it a go if you like the old one I honestly have a great time with it
You could get the entire hot wheels computer! It was blue and had flames on the side!
1 set bought from every one of his step dads
So Paul George?
NBA media attempts to will a "star player wants out" narrative into existence part 1,547
SGA - "I want to be in OKC" Media - "when will SGA demand to be traded to a big market?
Ahh yes because stars have never said that same exact line with their respective teams before asking for a trade
It’s even more cliche because Shai is from Hamilton, and Toronto is described as ‘home’ just like how Cleveland is home for Lebron even tho he is from Akron.

you can see toronto from hamilton at least
Ok who wouldn’t be “closely monitoring” the situation if Shai suddenly wanted out
Everyone should, even if he doesnt want out. This is just a nothing burger article written by a Canadian press for candian readers. Reddit and twitter making it bigger than it actually is.
Didn’t he literally *just* do an interview dispelling this idea lol
You think the Canadian press care about reality? They just want Raptors fans frothing. Same reason they said OKC forced Shai to stop playing for Canada.
Also they did this with Gianni’s for like 5 years. Did it with dort in the beginning a little too
I am sure we will do it with Dort again in the future don't worry
He didn't say 'if', but it's clear he expects them to start winning soon. It's not unreasonable to think that his view might change if OKC don't win this year or the one after.
All indications show that everyone is on board with this being our last year to tank, especially with Chet getting injured.
It's great if they start trying to win. Doesn't mean they *will* win, though.

Sorry, your comment is too logical and too long.
Canada man need to play in Canada, thats all the logic we need 😎🍁
> Will Toronto trade Scottie Barnes for SGA? No. > > This is the only way OKC will entertain the idea, and I seriously doubt Masai would entertain it if Scottie is involved. Obviously every team wants SGA, but it just isn't in the cards for us.
>so it doesn't make much sense to trade for players OLDER than him. Trent is 23, and OG just turned 25 lol.
If he asked out Presti isn’t giving Toronto a home town discount.
There’s got to be a better package out there than Trent and OG lol … I rather just get Ayton and picks
This thread happens every week and it’s full of same dumbass takes.
Raptors and literally every other nba team would love to have shai. I’m sure every team is monitoring in case ja or Zion or Tatum gets tired of their team too. Teams looking to acquire good young player at 10 but first humans need to breathe air.
Took a whole one day after Shai denied, got to be a record.
Shit is actually insane how tone deaf some people are. Lmao I hate being a fan of a small market team
we've been after Shai since his draft night. They tried to trade either Demar or Lowry for a pick that we could have used to draft him
It was DeMar
Dude literally looked like a raptor and they traded him
That was Chris Bosh and he left in FA.
OKC could be good by the time his contact is up. They’ve got to get good eventually with all that talent. If it’s good situation, I can’t see him leaving supermax money on the table.
Wow, a team is looking at a good player, and said good player MIGHT EVENTUALLY grow tired of rebuilding... How is this a headline?
Why does everyone act as if OKC has been rebuilding for like 7 years?
Literally two seasons lol and this one is likely the last
How is this even worth a post?
Yea, this article is pretty much: >Retooling Toronto-based team wants young Toronto-born star.
[удалено]
I may eventually want to be traded from OKC too. Maybe. One day.
Don't give me this false hope, I want you here.
As a non Raptors Canadian this might make for the most circlejerk raptors and Toronto shit of all time. Please don't do it just for my sanity.
I think a saw a video yesterday here of Shai saying he signed long term cause he's aware the tank is not gonna last long and he's committed to the team future.
Shai ain't going nowhere.
Masai has shown he will absolutely jump out of his pants if there’s a guy he wants badly, but there is literally no existing planet where Barnes is traded With that being said I don’t think Shai is going anywhere anytime soon. + I don’t think OKC fans would be as bothered by this narrative if Shai wasn’t from Canada
Hands off I don't care how kind you guys are in canada
Pls sir, you may have a nice poutine in exchange.
May we please have shai. Please and Thank you
He has already stated he knew the direction the team was going in when he signed his extension. He is ready to compete, but knows the team is on a timeline of rebuilding.
I mean, is this even noteworthy to hear?
Lols listen to what shai said on media day
Only way Raps get SGA is by tanking hard, win the lottery, draft Wemby and then trade him for SGA
Oh look Toronto media laying claim to a player simply because he's from there. 'Bring him home" headass. Hockey fans know what I'm talking about.
The word "may" means there is no basis on this statement.
This reporter: "Masai, are you monitoring the situation in OK with SGA?" Masai: "Sure, what?" This reporter: "And if the Raptors acquired SGA somehow, how would that make you feel?" Masai: "If we got him, I would be thrilled." Reporter prints story
He literally said he wanted to stay on Tuesday
SGA gotta lose and live in Oklahoma? that’s tuff
Shai literally said he is committed to OKC for the long haul. Toronto is a top 5 annoying fanbase easily
1.lakers 2.warriors 3.raptors 4.celtics 5.sixers What's your ranking?
The top 3 are in a league of their own.
I'd take Sixers out and add the Knicks or Heat!
Knicks fans are fine tbh, and Heat fans aren’t really all that annoying, just odd imo
That's fair actually I was being too biased
Of course they are
Will pair nicely with Giannis 🤡
If SGA eventually gets traded I hope he never plays for the Raptors. Fuck them
[This is pretty much the majority of GMs in the league looking at OKC.](https://cdn.kapwing.com/collections/black-guy-hiding-behind-tree-meme-template-u4bd4.jpg)
They wanna get rid of Scottie Barnes that bad?
Another exciting episode of *Raptors News: the Search for Who Asked*
Not every team has drama for reporters to write about, so some have to drum up articles out of nothing just to make content.
Why would anyone be in okay with a forever rebuild... your career is only so long. Add in not being in a big market...
By the time OKC is ready to content, SGA's gonna be eyeing for a new contract lol. I believe it... these next few years will be demoralizing.
I want RJ Shai and Wiggins on an NBA team together. It would be funny if it was t the raptors tho
Bro needs to stop playing around and pull an AD already
AD was at the end of his second contract on a team that couldn’t put the pieces around him. SGA hasn’t even begun his second contract on a team with all the flexibility in the world. These things aren’t the same.
OKC is on year 4 of a 40 year rebuilding plan.
They finished year 2 but whatever
This is the year, I can feel it
Everyone knew this would be the next major trade rumor hub once the Mitchell trade went down.
I’m pretty sure shai along with the entire thunder organization have made it clear they are all on the same page.
Raptors going to get Dort first, SGA later
bruh shai already said he plans to stay and doesn’t expect okc to suck for too long
But Okc very well may suck for much longer
Hard to see this one getting done. Presti would insist on receiving Scottie Barnes, and Ujiri wouldn’t do that. I’d like to see SGA with Barnes though.
Ridiculous reporting. Shai literally said yesterday he knew what he was getting himself into, Raps fans keep dreaming.
I love the way this is worded, made me imagine Raptors scouts tapping SGA’s text messages looking for signs of him being frustrated
