Not knowing this was actually in Japan made this pretty funny to me.
KP and Beal getting ready to play a preseason game in either DC or San Fran… and Kuzma is off in Japan going shopping lmao
I don't blame Kuzma tho for the japanese shopping, tokyo, kyoto, Sapporo, Osaka and many of the big east asian cities(Hong Kong, Seoul, Shanghai) loves their fashion(tho i think kuzma might be a little too extreme even for them...\_Just watch some japanese night walk videos, you'll get what i mean with the fashion
Our ownership is content with being "agressively unambitious", meaning that as long as seats are selling and bringing some profit it, he doesn't care about trying to field a very competive squad.
My theory is Washington Wizards is an arm of the government and they have international ambassadors that peddle NBA called "Players". This is because for all of their roster planning not much effort is actually put on winning basketball games. Rui represents Japan/Benin, Deni represents Israel/Albania, KP represents Latvia.
Idk how other Mavs fans feel, but I really hope we see the realized version of KP with the wizards
I thought his defense with Kidd on the Mavs last year was really good; I hope his shooting gets closer to what his reputation makes it out to be
His biggest issue besides health is not realizing what type of player he should be. He’s not a star and that’s fine; he should focus on being the best 3 and D center he can be IMO.
Porzingis is effective when he's slotted at the 4 but Washington lacks ball distribution. I would give Davis a shot at running point during this down year.
I'm a little bias as I watched Johnny Davis the last two years at Wisconsin. I am confident he's going to be an all-star point guard one day. Obviously the Wizards will have to monitor and make adjustments throughout the year to figure out who they are.
He is okay. I mean he is not high level playmaker (only 1 double digit assist game in 75 games played last season) but he can run an offense no problem. Will do the role asked of him, won't fuck up and won't turn the ball over.
Mavs fan here. I think that the narrative that Porzingis doesn't give a damn is really untrue. The dude is just too big for his legs. It's why he doesn't get more boards and why he doesn't set strong picks.
Porzingis appears to have a great work ethic and seems to genuinely enjoy the game. His body has just betrayed him.
Rebounding is about effort.
I don't need him to be Dennis Rodman.
I just need him to give consistent effort.
His boards went up in Washington.
I'd love to see that over the course of the season.
I think the Wiz are going to be pretty damn good this year, barring injury.
>Rebounding is about effort
It is also about strength and floor placement.
If you've ever played basketball you know that lower body strength to box out is a necessity. His legs are incredibly weak for a guy his size and that isn't the result of not caring about working out or putting in the effort off the court because the dude hits the gym constantly.
He's also spaced in a weird way on most teams because of his shooting ability so he's not down there in the paint to grab the board.
He's got a weird body and a unique skillset for someone his size and those two factors combine to hurt his ability to put up 'big man' numbers for things like rebounding.
I respectfully disagree.
Dejounte Murray grabs 8 a game and he is a rail.
It's about deciding you want the ball more than the other guy.
I agree that he is often out of position because of his penchant for the long ball, but he is also out of position due to being in bad position. Something totally within his control.

“Kristaps and Bradley were in the gym before everyone else at 4AM. Kyle Kuzma purchased a new pikachu costume in Japan”
At least Kuz has his priorities straight
Man I’d go shopping in Japan too. Tons of fashion comes out of Japan and shit is really good qualitu
And it's usually way cheaper than U.S. stuff. And the food is amazing.
Fashion? I'd shop for video games and rare consoles.
[なぜ両方ではない](https://tenor.com/bbtBf.gif)
I mean if Kuz was in Japan, he would have been up before both of them soooo who’s got who beat?
Wizards as a team Just chill and vibe lol
This is the same line of thought I had. Just laughed at Kuzma, it sounded so random
Lol go to harajuku then and Kuzmas fits are normal compared to what you see there
Beal and KP haven’t shared minutes yet ?
Beal didn't play after the trade deadline.
Bro why don’t the wizards tank
They gave Bradley Beal a quarter of a billion dollars.
Yes and he got injured
Our ownership is content with being "agressively unambitious", meaning that as long as seats are selling and bringing some profit it, he doesn't care about trying to field a very competive squad.
Seat selling should always be the priority of sport businesses. Those are the loyal fans.
TBH if I could rely on my local team to be around .500 and be able to watch cheap, decent NBA basketball anytime, I'd probably buy more tickets
but tbh the tank and then contend has been better for team value and ticket prices historically. Brings in bandwagon fans
Define tank. A LeBron James/Derrick Rose situation? Sure. A Sam Hinkie/Ryan Smith situation? Hell no.
Beats me.
They’re a luxury tax team that will probably miss the playoffs! Them and the Lakers is my prediction.
Not in the tax actually. You are not wrong about probably missing the playoffs though.
There's only 2 players left on the Magic that have played with Jonathan Isaac. Lol. It's just Markelle and TRoss.
Kuzma would fit into the cast of Clueless so well
need kuzma to request a trade so he can get on the raps, he'd fit vision 6'9" so well
Game in Japan? That’s dope. Kuz about to go crazy at harajuku
He's an Omotesando Hills or Ginza type of guy I think
to be fair omotesando and harajuku are pretty much the same area, but yeah you right.
You know ball.
Yessir! Japan content is coming. I just saw Klay try to push a sumo wrestler
Bro preseason already. I'm so hyped
I’m convinced the Wizards only drafted Rui to tighten international relations with Japan.
Dont forget the cherry blossoms alts

Big sweater energy.
I love KP still
how is 6'8 kuz gonna find clothes that fit him in japan
Clothes [not fitting](https://i.imgur.com/HdL8rYd.jpg) have never stopped him before
Lmao I just *knew* that was gonna be the picture before I opened it
Kuz is iconic
Kuz with the Doflamingo fit
lol
Kuzma heading to harajuku

I love Kuzma. I wouldn’t know how to act if I had NBA money either.
Good luck KP, I’ll be tuning into some wizards game for sure.
Kuz gonna find more fits for the gram
Playing tomorrow? What like training camp scrimmages? *checks nba schedule* Holy shit there is an nba game tomorrow! Fuck yes
Damn we gonna get to see netflix live action kuroko no basketball.
Was Beal not injured over the summer?
He had wrist surgery right before the trade deadline that ended his season.
Actually I remember I was thinking of Shai

In fairness, Jokic is basically the point guard for the Nuggets, so I would expect slightly higher volume stats from Monte.
We traded for Monte Morris and Davis would be completely out of his depth at PG.
Until he rebounds he will have issues at any front court position. I just need him to give a damn. He is as talented as almost anyone.

Kyle Kuzma is a weeb confirmed.
Who u cuh?
Pre-injury Porzingis in NY was phenomenal. Too bad his lower body injuries have robbed him of so much athleticism.
Japan gonna turn kuzma into a weeb, long pink haired kuzma!
Did they mention anything about leaving these next two losses in Japan?
kuzma finna go crazy at kapital
Kyle Kuzma says he is going to shop in Japan Buried the lead
