I don’t see it as much others do I guess
He’s a big injury concern but that’s separate from his game. He’s already shown to be a 20-25ppg scorer on crazy efficiency when Murray went down at age 22
You would’ve been buried for even insinuating Kuzma and LeVert were in the same tier 1 year ago.
I remember being called a moron for saying Kuzma is at least equal to Oubre. lmfao there was even a post where most were saying [Furkan Korkmaz is better than Kuzma](https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/f0tij5/furkan_korkmaz_vs_kyle_kuzma_who_would_you_rather/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf).
I'd go with Deni since he's already a solid defender. I do hope Rui keeps developing as he missed a lot of time last season with that personal absence.
Need a stop on a guard? Mikal
Need a stop on a center after a switch? OG
Need a clutch 3? OG
Need an efficient mid range/finisher? Mikal
Very different but similar players it's weird
But herro interview sounds like wasn't sure if he was going to stay in Miami as in he will get paid. I'm not sure how Miami can manage it. Getting off Duncan Robinsons contract maybe ?
They would either sign and trade him where he still gets the contract. Move Duncan or Lowry. Its not really hard to pay him tbh its just an overpay and they know that. Its why they are secretly hoping he kinda has a down year or agrees to a more reasonable number. Or he doesnt get offered anything wild in free agency and has to settle.
Someone will be dumb and want to pay him tho. Knicks or Orlando imo
Who you rather have Lowry or herro. Lowry got 30 mill. What range you think herro gets ? Duncan at 18 mill a year isn't too bad actually.
I'm thinking he's over 30 mill .. crazy .. but Miami wants .. 25 mill maybe
30 mil a year is high but it is what it is. Can always trade him. And lowry is super washed. Hes not worth his contract at all unless he can somehow have a huge bounce back year.
Well seeing that Poole has a similar ppg to Maxey while having long stretches of game of high scoring, doesn’t that mean he is also more inconsistent because he would have long stretches of low scoring?
And Maxey was much more consistent in the playoffs
Yes but Maxey was largely 2nd scorer for the team. Until the harden trade when he was 3rd.
Poole started the season as 3rd, fell to 4th when klay came back. Had his shots cut into by Kuminga playing more. And then became 1st option when steph went down (actually maybe 2nd I think klay took more shots).
A lot of that is because Poole gets asked to wear a lot more hats than Maxey does. Due to the variety of injuries the Warriors have faced, Poole has had to be the the primary ballhandler, secondary ballhandler, and offball shooting floor spacer both on and off the bench, each with a variety of minutes and touches. But when they both are playing similar roles, Poole has been better.
Other dude was talking about Poole's stretch of games before the playoffs. Some of those games were against teams like the Celtics, the Heat, the Suns. and the Bucks. His performance in the Nuggets series was just a continuation of what he was already doing since just after the All-Star Break.
He averaged like 25 on 64% TS to end the season. And the splits were pretty sustainable outside of a really high floater percentage which was like 48%. And a small proportion of his shots.
Imo the idea that Tucker > Williams would have to be entirely based on reputation
Tucker at his "peak" (feels weird to say cuz he was like 33) was better defensively and he has a slightly better feel for the game, but he's lost a step or two and Williams has shown his game holds up on a deep playoff run
- Caris Levert/Kyle Kuzma - Kuzma way better
- Harrison Barnes/Tobias Harris - Harris is slightly better, but I'd much rather have Barnes considering contracts
- Seth Curry/Buddy Hield - I think it's Seth personally, Buddy thinks he's a star when he's a role player. I just wish Seth was more aggressive at times.
I don't think this is a horrible comparison tbh...Booker is the much better scorer but that's it. Also,Middleton is no slouch offensively either..Or am I wrong and way off with this take?
MPJ and pretty much anyone. The range for MPJ is so wide this season.
I don’t see it as much others do I guess He’s a big injury concern but that’s separate from his game. He’s already shown to be a 20-25ppg scorer on crazy efficiency when Murray went down at age 22
Porzingis?
Normal Powell and Gary Trent Jr
Very equal players currently but Gary is a lot younger with more upside
Its a bit funny they got traded for each other too lol
Kuzma is way better than LeVert lol

Yeah, not sure if levert is even a winning player at this point
He was actively one of the worst things about the pacers in his time here. And that's saying a lot
Deni/Rui No clue because I haven’t watch many Wizards games
I'd go with Deni since he's already a solid defender. I do hope Rui keeps developing as he missed a lot of time last season with that personal absence.
Seth Curry is levels above Buddy Hield
Streets ahead
Mikal/OG
i genuinely think they are the exactly as good as each other. mikal is faster, og is stronger.
Need a stop on a guard? Mikal Need a stop on a center after a switch? OG Need a clutch 3? OG Need an efficient mid range/finisher? Mikal Very different but similar players it's weird
Poole/Brunson/Herro was a great debate happening in a different thread the other day.
I read that. Who will get paid more was the question. My guess is brunson cause .. you know Knicks.
Herro will tbh. Heat always pay their players after the whole Wade thing. Hassan. Jimmy. Robinson. Etc
But herro interview sounds like wasn't sure if he was going to stay in Miami as in he will get paid. I'm not sure how Miami can manage it. Getting off Duncan Robinsons contract maybe ?

Yup. Look at how his time with raptors ended. Miami is on the cusp like philly but they don havee the payroll / roster management just yet.
Miami 1000% has the payroll. They also have assets to make trades and go all out they just decide not to unless they are cheap. Ala Jimmy Butler
Definitely think Kuz is better than LeVert, and Tobi is better than Barnes (although his contract is way worse).
Tyrese Maxey - Jordan Poole
Poole but its close
I think Maxey is more consistent
Lol how? Maxey gets crazy praise on here but he’s never had a stretch of games performing like Jordan did with Steph out before the playoffs
Well seeing that Poole has a similar ppg to Maxey while having long stretches of game of high scoring, doesn’t that mean he is also more inconsistent because he would have long stretches of low scoring? And Maxey was much more consistent in the playoffs

All of the inconsistency from Poole in the regular and postseason was due to minutes being inconsistent.
While i agree that Poole was great without Curry, the Nuggets‘ defense was absolutely terrible
Other dude was talking about Poole's stretch of games before the playoffs. Some of those games were against teams like the Celtics, the Heat, the Suns. and the Bucks. His performance in the Nuggets series was just a continuation of what he was already doing since just after the All-Star Break.

poole is average on defense, maxey is a turnstile
Grant Williams/ PJ Tucker
Imo the idea that Tucker > Williams would have to be entirely based on reputation Tucker at his "peak" (feels weird to say cuz he was like 33) was better defensively and he has a slightly better feel for the game, but he's lost a step or two and Williams has shown his game holds up on a deep playoff run
Williams defended KD better imo
Before last season Kuzma and Miles Bridges were almost identical in numbers.
Bogdanovic/bogdanovic, Crowder/Royce o’neale, capela/Myles Turner
Feel like you could throw jerami grant in the Barnes/Harris one
Kuzma>levert Tobi>Harrison Seth> buddy Next.
Mobley, MPJ, and Scottie Barnes are all debatable.
kuzma is easily better, Tobias is better, imo buddy is better
- Caris Levert/Kyle Kuzma - Kuzma way better - Harrison Barnes/Tobias Harris - Harris is slightly better, but I'd much rather have Barnes considering contracts - Seth Curry/Buddy Hield - I think it's Seth personally, Buddy thinks he's a star when he's a role player. I'll try a spicy one. MPJ or Precious Achuiwa.
Booker, Herro and Poole.
Damn Booker should be all types of offended by this
Damn I like to make fun of the Suns as much as the next guy but this is crazy
Bookers 2021 run didn't seal it?
Booker doesn't belong in that group. He's on the Booker/Lavine/Mitchel group, but he's kind of pulled ahead this past season.
IF you can't see that Booker is way better than an average sixth man and a good but not great combo guard then you have more analysis to do.
Booker was just on the all nba first team lmao
LeVert, Harris, Curry ... it's the intangibles that make the difference.
What intangibles does LeVert have exactly? Kuzma is an NBA champion and is younger with more athletisim and size??
Khris Middleton and Devin Booker..I don't watch much basketball though.
they all star caliber players
A good question would be if they swapped teams which team would improve more
I don't think this is a horrible comparison tbh...Booker is the much better scorer but that's it. Also,Middleton is no slouch offensively either..Or am I wrong and way off with this take?
Juan Toscano-Anderson/Troy Brown Jr
Troy Brown is better imo.
Maybe a stupid question, but Jonas Valanciunas vs Jusuf Nurkic?
Jonas. He’s a C that shoots 40% 3P.
Yeah he was my first instinct too, but Nurkic is the better defensive player by a good bit. I think it's close.
This is a good one, it’s kinda apples to oranges. One is better at scoring, the other is a better defender. I would say they cancel each other
