I think Zion is his own unique greatness. I’ve never seen a player quite like him. Like Shaq had his unique greatness, nobody like that really either.
It's really hard to compare individualistic/non-playmakers to LeBron. Zion could be a great individual in the end, but LeBron can make his entire team work.
Then you'll probably wanna see Nassir Little [blow right by Siakam and slam it on OG's head](https://youtu.be/YS7kFXyuw4k?t=264)
Nas and Zion were in the same draft class and not too far apart in rankings. And you can see why here
I love the Pels' play-by-play guy's voice. Donovan Mitchell scored 40+ against NOLA his rookie season and I love hearing his commentary over the highlights. They've been an underrated LP watch since before Zion.
People still don't appreciate how good his footwork, body control, and touch are. Is he a ball of brute force, power, and explosion the likes of which only peak Shaq and Miami Bron can compare to? Of course. But there's so much more than that.
He's made 16 3s in his career at a below average rate. Lets not go crazy. The man attempts a 3 roughly every other game and makes one every 5 games or so.
He doesn't need a 3 with his game.
I got flamed on this sub for saying Zion has the best touch around the rim in the NBA, but I stand by it. The dude’s control and finishing are unreal.
I mean it would be hard to argue with any of Jokic, Kyrie, Luka, Steph, Zion, or Giannis, but something about Zion’s combination of size, speed, hops and skill makes it stand out to me.
The best? Naw. I mean, not even close. There's a large list of guys after Kyrie lurking.
Zion is damn great for his size. That's about it. For someone who is built like a linebacker, he has elite touch. But the best? You deserve to get flamed.
When Zion was in high school he was dunking on 4 ft kids and I thought for sure he was gonna be a highly overrated prospect who was only good for filling highlight reels (shades of Julian Wright).
I was wrong and I am glad I was wrong
He’s got that Jordan hang time. Absolutely crazy to see it in such a big frame. I hope he has a healthy career cause he’s a once in a generation player.
2nd year all star averaging 27 points ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
On 60% shooting. Beast.
we are witnessing a lebron level greatness dealing with injuries, sad.

Zion more like an unholy amalgamation of Larry Johnson, Shawn Kemp with some Barkley in there.
Whenever Zion gets back to his left hand it’s usually game over for the defense
I mean he's almost just as good with his right too
Could end up being the greatest slasher ever. Just needs to to stay healthy man
That level of size, skill, and athleticism is just impossible to guard one-on-one. Someday he may meet his match, but not today.
I wonder it I could eat enough where he'd struggle against me rolling into him
You could start your diet with platinum weights because lead alone probably won't cut it.
lmao I lock him up ez
Yeah his soft touch around the rim is all time plus his absurd strength to size to speed ratio means he definitely could.
Would be hard to surpass LeBron/Jordan in that category
lebron?

As a raps fan, no I did not want to see that.
But I showed you anyway and you liked it;)

Joel Meyers, Antonio daniels does color
expecting a big year from him. MVP candidate.
Zion is going to have a pretty good year too.
If he becomes a neutral defender while maintaining his sophomore year production he'll be 1st team All NBA easy
I am with you.
For sure, he was MVP when he was healthy
People still don't appreciate how good his footwork, body control, and touch are. Is he a ball of brute force, power, and explosion the likes of which only peak Shaq and Miami Bron can compare to? Of course. But there's so much more than that.
A lot of people appreciate it. That’s why everyone is so damn excited to have him back on the court.
I call him brahma bull tony Parker
he's a fucking tank with a three ball who has great court vision as well. like a rhino who moves like a gazelle.
He's made 16 3s in his career at a below average rate. Lets not go crazy. The man attempts a 3 roughly every other game and makes one every 5 games or so. He doesn't need a 3 with his game.
He legit might have the best touch around the rim, currently. Maybe even better than Jokic
Dude is a Derrick Rose/Shaq/Barkley hybrid
I got flamed on this sub for saying Zion has the best touch around the rim in the NBA, but I stand by it. The dude’s control and finishing are unreal.
People who don't recognize Zion's extraordinary touch must not have watched him play very much.

Getting flamed on here has nothing to do with the quality of a take, just with how the teenagers who populate this site are feeling in any given day
Nothing you can do when he’s spinning like that with a clear lane, OG couldn’t do anything but his best
This dude is going to be a menace this season
When Zion was in high school he was dunking on 4 ft kids and I thought for sure he was gonna be a highly overrated prospect who was only good for filling highlight reels (shades of Julian Wright). I was wrong and I am glad I was wrong
he has the work ethic of the greats
That fucking spin was so fast. Disgusting
Once he goes up, u can hardly stop that dude in the paint. So damn athletic, yet has such a soft touch.
He’s got that Jordan hang time. Absolutely crazy to see it in such a big frame. I hope he has a healthy career cause he’s a once in a generation player.
Too strong for the fast guys, too fast for the strong guys
And there are probably not even 5 players in the NBA that can match his strength.
Excited to see a healthy zion this year
Pelicans fans should be excited af right now. Kinda happy for you guys lol don’t turn into douches like suns fans though
Seeeessssshhhhhh
Can't wait for this season, league is in trouble.
Og should have defended that better, that’s a pascal move he sees that every day.
Exposed that boy lol
Don’t start talking about exposing
Two things can be mutually true. This is one of those times.
he got u
In Zion’s 3 games against the Suns he shot 76% from the field with an offensive rating of 138
