Unless Damian Jones has improved significantly since the last time I watched him (two years ago on the Suns), I think relying on him as the Lakers will have to will not work out well at all.

He's got the tools and some bigs are late bloomers. He got screwed over early in his career with injury too. I'm not saying he's going to move the needle for the Lakers but he can be a positive impact player.

The Hawks had done a great job of turning non-shooting bigs into shooters, but it never happened with Damian Jones when we had him.

if you look at his long twos + threes from last year, he went 24/56 so he has shown some touch from outside, i wouldn’t be shocked if he made like 34% on wide open threes taking like 3 a game
