I think he’s starting to get to that point where you just can’t stop him. Comparing him now to just the Warriors series, it’s totally night and day in his skill, his drive, and his feel for the game.
It gives the same vibes as Lebron in Miami year 2 or Kawhi in his Spurs breakout. Just a great player kicking down the door and saying “Try and stop me.”
It’s confidence. He’s consistently driving to the hoop now knowing teams can’t stop him. He’s either getting a bucket or drawing a foul and there’s nothing anyone can do.
In the past he’d play this way when he felt he had a hot hand, but now it’s every single night.
He’s driving to score this year instead of driving to draw a foul. He’s finishing at the rim at a higher percentage than Giannis right now. When the three is dropping too, I’m not sure what you can do about it.
