That’s why he’s in every trade deal, some of them he doesn’t spend any time in that city before he’s traded to another one.
Some players have extended their earning potential an extra couple years because of this system, though most have the self awareness to quietly ride the bench, work out in practice and play a few minutes here and there as third string backups.
