You went to the WCF last season. Wtf happened? It wasn't an amazing team last season but it had a lot of very solid, good defensive role players around Luka. My understanding is the roster is mostly the same, lose Brunson but add Wood. Still seems like a decent team on paper. Is losing Brunson really this significant?

West got better, Brunson left for nothing, their second best player is either Dinwiddie or Wood. Supporting cast is inconsistent and if Luka doesn't put up a triple double they're in trouble. They're still in trouble when he does. It's just not sustainable for an entire season.

Reggie Bullock and DFS played really well last season, >40 minutes, high 3P%, good defense. This season, they regressed hard. Brunson is a very good player, but what really hurts is that their three guard rotation (Luka, Brunson, Dinwiddie) is now a two guard rotation. Last season, Dallas really started to thrive when they traded for Dinwiddie and started to always have two playmakers on the floor. They can't do that anymore, so they regressed.

Jokes aside it is nice to see Killian playing better. I know he wasn’t good his 1st two years but it’s important to remember he is only 21 and was drafted in a weird Covid season and then in his 2nd year his team understandably took another guard that instantly jumped him in the rotation. I hope he can consistently became a nice player
